Shin-Sei-Den is an RPG game (not done in the RPGmaker engine) where your male character is accompanied by a female companion to help you defeat evil and stuff, Battle is standard RPGMaker fare. You can fight multiple monsters at a time, and if your female companion is in a good mood, she can cast spells to heal and damage enemies, Enemies with hearts next to them signify they can rape your ally companion, you can then try to save her.
the interesting part of the game is you can change her mood depending on sexual actions that happen to her, and it can effect the ending as well as battle, so be on the lookout for such opportunities.

It's done in C programming (His past games done in HSP, Hot Soup Processor).

Re: FullFlap's Next Project - RPG

Hummm, the 1st rpg from this circle?
This will be interesting ^.^

Re: FullFlap's Next Project - RPG

I always look forward to FullFlap releases. Let's just hope there's more actual content on the hentai side of things this time around. Demon's Sperm was a decent game gameplay wise, but incredibly dull as a pornographic game. So much in fact that I would've preferred the game to have been solely an indie 2D action game and not have anything to do with hentai.

But ultimately, my favorite FullFlap game is Succubus Fist. Good and fun gameplay, and great porn. I'm hoping, perhaps in vain, but I'm really hoping this'll match that game in both gameplay and hentai. A different kind of gameplay of course, considering it's an RPG, but still.

Re: FullFlap's Next Project - RPG

Hopefully he sticks to spritesex and animated CGs...... It'd be a shame if Fullflap went the lazy route.

Re: FullFlap's Next Project - RPG

Wow, this game looks great. even it's just screen shot.
Will it be Arpg? or regular turn based? or SRPG? personally I want to see the Hentai SRPG since I love SRW series :D

Re: FullFlap's Next Project - RPG

Well, a new project by FullFlap is always good news though i would have preferred if they did stick to the action/platform genre. The language barrier makes it hard for someone who can't read kanji to play RPGs. :(

Re: FullFlap's Next Project - RPG

Interesting. Always good to see a new game by Fullflap, although I'm surprised they are designing their own engine that is so similar to RPG Maker (at least at first glance). If going with that style, seems like just using RPG Maker would save them a boatload of work. Eh, I guess they'd still have to learn RPG Maker, so maybe not.

Man, as I look back at all the days I've spent drawing CGs, I didn't realize I was being so "lazy." In all seriousness, lazy is developing a game that uses a standard engine with little to no customization and only puts in a bare minimum of artwork. Choosing not to draw sprite sex or animated CGs does not necessarily equate to being lazy. Any decent artwork takes time and effort.

Re: FullFlap's Next Project - RPG

I'm pretty sure that at least one earlier Fullflap's game had RPG-like map, so it's not like he don't know what he's doing.
Besides, why pay for something (in this case RPG Maker) if you can do it yourself for free and maybe even better ;).

Well, RPG Maker is pretty cheap, so not sure the cost would be that much of a factor. And, I'm assuming that developing your own engine would require a significant time investment. So, it would be weighing the time investment versus about $60 (or whatever RPG Maker is running now).

Of course, if you add significant improvements to your own engine, then it would make sense to spend that time designing it. I'm just looking at those screenshot and not seeing much graphically that warrants not using RPG Maker. But, so much is under the hood, and knowing Fullflap's past games, the engine is probably much more efficient. Either way, I'm very interested in playing it and seeing what they do with a game of this style! Just wish it was in English :D

Re: FullFlap's Next Project - RPG

Sorry to ask somethings off topic. Do someone know where fullflap get this map resources for this RPG game:confused: I don't think he draw all by himself. I want to know where can I find good resources for make maps in game with no problem with RPG Maker license.

While I partially agree with you, hand drawn animation certainly takes a lot more effort to make than static CGs. But I was implying more than that, by taking the lazy route, I'm saying that there are already a ton of HRPGs with no animations, I don't think we need more. The platformer genre is quite small as is, it'd be a shame if Fullflap, which is one of the best sidescroller developers, were to switch to HRPGs without animations.

IIRC, SmokingWOLF did the same thing - he created WolfRPG for his own games and then made it public, so it would seem that it is a good idea to make your own engine (if you know how, that is). RPG Maker has piss-poor performance and other limitations in graphics department, so this may be a main reason (and a good one, if you ask me) to make dedicated engine - all WolfRGP games and Fullflap's Demon's Sperm have full 3D graphics support (Direct3D or OpenGL).

Only time will tell - just as well this game may be some kind of hybrid with questing like in normal RPG and sidescrolling parts instead of normal battles. AFAIK Fullflap's games always had both static and animated CGs, so I doubt he'll cut animations out from this one - but again it's just guessing.

Re: FullFlap's Next Project - RPG

My only concern so far is that we're actually going to need a translation for this one. I mean, even with the robo-shooter and Dark Souls-Sort porn, yeah, there where items and stuff, but at least those were pretty straight forward and not that many. Healing items and such. But with an rpg, it's something a bit more complex. Granted, I'm sure all of use here have played an hrpg while in japanese, but still. That's all I have to say about that. Hope that the H-quality is Succubus Fist quality, which I will argue is Full Flap's Magnum Opus. Much like Koooonsoft's Shinobi Girl, yeah, Witch Girl was good, but it was no Shinobi Girl.

Re: FullFlap's Next Project - RPG

Fullflap, no udders, something is wrong here !

Re: FullFlap's Next Project - RPG

So instead of doing non-mainstream games he does an over 0815 h-rpg-maker game? I'm disappointed but well it's his choice.

Re: FullFlap's Next Project - RPG

That male "Hero" opens a shitload of possibilities.

Re: FullFlap's Next Project - RPG

I think this is the first time Fullflap has ever made none faceless/near faceless male character. Don't think Fullflap will make a run off the mill RPG maker game (i.e. RPG maker + CG unlock) considering he likes to change things up with every new game. It's gotten to the point for me that I actually play his games not for the hentai but for the actual game play as the style/art hasn't changed too much for each subsequent release.
