Hello! I decided to start a english translation on the first game by the circle

I'm translating the 1.06 version of this game.


And... the translation patch has been done! The file is attached in this post.

This patch should translate everything and update your game to the 1.06 version(Latest version). However, I believe you need a minimum of the version 1.04 of the game for it to work fully without any problems.

This started out as a fan translation project, but it's turning into an official translation!
The original developer of this game(baron sengia) is now working with Kagura Games for an official English release!
The game and this translation will be polished by Kagura Games.

Yes! One of the games I liked but didn't get very far in with just machine translation as I felt quite lost. Looking forward to it :)

Loved how Evening Starter looked -still on the bucket list as well-, so decided to play the first game from the circle before going for that, after learning about its existance.

Got the v1.06 of Fort Rugome and partial for it and all, just havent had the time/will to have at it. :)
Guess I will have to be holding it back for another while, now.

Any reason it is not the 1.06 version that you will be using as basis for your -heaven sent- translation?
Or is it just that it won't eff up versions 1.00-1.05 that way, which most the userbase have?
On a sidenote; will it probably work with v1.06?

Alright! I finished making an english translation patch for it.

Quite a few has been asking me if the older versions(such as 1.05) would work with the patch. I'm pretty sure it would. Just don't use anything below version 1.04.

Anyway, if it's your first time playing this game, I would recommend you to play the normal mode and get a feel of this game first.

However, there are scenes, story, events that can only be found in the hard mode.

From what I tried, it looks like you did a really good job :)

Edit: So, I just managed to beat it by escaping the fortress. No major typos that I noticed, maybe just some slight ones like "this" instead of "these". Didn't get to use the coins though, never had enough. Also, didn't manage to enter the tower in the north-west, meet captain Ein, the Earl, or see if the elf inspector chick plot goes anywhere. Do I need to play the hard mode for that, or did I miss anything?

Alright... I just updated the translation patch. Nothing much... just fixing a few mistranslated lines and editing lines here and there. Shouldn't have tried translating at times when I'm tired. It was pretty unproductive.

There's a line that's untranslated after you job change to Assassin.

Hey Candy,

It seems like you're really into those stealth games. Have you played "Kunoichi Ajisai"?

It's probably one of the better stealth games I've ever played. If you haven't, make sure to check it out :)
