Anthophobia is side-scrolling action survival horror

Play as the protagonist who kept herself hidden in her apartment for three months.
Her apartment is falling apart. and water is disconnected.

...she need a new shelter


[How to control]

Left/Right arrow Key - Move left and right
Up arrow key - Look up/ stand up / interact with some objects(like doors)
Down arrow key - Crouch
Z key - Attack
X Key - Jump
C Key - Swap Melee/Range

A Key - Throw glow stick

1. How to download the demo?
You can simply visit the

and you can find "DOWNLOAD THE DEMO" button on the right side of the blog page. it's big sexy black button. not hard to find.
Or you can simply visit the newground and play the html5 version of the game!

2. Future updates information?
- New type of female zombie will be added
- 3 new type of monsters will be added
- 2 new bosses will be added
- 2 new branch stage will be added
- More and More HCGs!!

3. Will demo only have one stage?
Currently Demo have Tutorial and Stage 1, + hidden stage!!
Try to find it! :D

4. Can't you just add them right away?
I wish I can. but too bad I only have 2 hands.

New monster "Matchmaker" is added and replaced some other monster's spot.
Tutorial map before the actual level added, you have to through this map if you start the new game.
Spore shooter's hypnotize effect duration is halved on easy mode.

and glitch fix:D

Probably meant that those were going to be in the next demo.

Last thing I remember being added to the demo is another animation to the grabby plant upon being defeated by one.

There is the one in the room to the right, just before the boss fight but it doesnt interact with the player character

and holy shit i turned off vsync and it feels like a totally different game. should be disabled by default because it causes performance problems for many people.

found a bug, if youre getting raped by a ladder you can still press up to go up or down it, while still being raped. kinda funny

I tried it again a couple weeks ago and still have an issue with how slow the game runs. Unless there's some option to tweak, it's a real problem. I mean, I should not be in the air for a good 15 seconds every time I make a jump.

Turn off v-sync, i had the same problem.

There's a girl behind a locked door being fucked near the boss, I'm guessing there's no way to save her yet? I couldn't find a key to that door.

You can find the key, iirc it's in the area with the wall/door which you turn on the generator to open. Either that or it is the one in the apartment room off the corridor before you get to the generator. However all you gain from going in there currently is restocking ammo.

I actually couldn't figure out how to start the generator. I got a gas can but I went back to the machine and didn't know what to do with it. The game is great, though. Plant sex is one of my biggest kinks, and this sure delivers on that.

That happens when your graphic card don't support game maker's surface.
I would recommend you to turn off the light effect and V-sync in option tab at the main title.
