Good lord in heaven, he's got HOW MUCH detail in there?!?

I have to admire Toady's thoroughness, even as I wonder at the sheer size of the datasets he's making use of...

Well, for one, during combat a few minutes ago I've:

Slashed tendons, arteries, and broke the third rib on the left.
I've punched a fox and one of it's teeth came out.
I ran from wolves and shot their legs, slowing them enough for me to just circle around them shooting sharp and pointy things.

And that's just adventure mode, for Fortress mode I've already seen screenshots of a player finding a massive magma ocean under the ground, bigger then a 3x3 embark in size.

. Saves some bandwidth for the site, and mine finished downloading in 11 seconds total... 600 kB/s average.

Alas, I've grown used to graphical tile-sets and Dwarven Therapist so I probably won't be doing *much* else with it today, but I have personally encountered a sea of magma, and suspect that you'll find them just about anywhere you embark.

This release fixes a lot of my principle gripes with the previous version, and I haven't even encountered any specific bugs yet. Now all I need is the GPL merge and an updated version of DT and I'm golden.

A bug has already been found, dwarves will dissolve in salt water, or at least in waves.
A second bug has also been found, people have embarked inside volcanos, which then collapsed on top of them.

Oh, I don't doubt that there *are* bugs (plenty, both hilarious and frustrating), I just haven't found any myself yet. Also haven't found salt water of volcanoes, but I haven't been looking.

Edit: found a bug. Apparently the "design a world with parameters" screen crashes with my tile/graphics set. Odd, since it seems to work when I'm playing.

With dwarf fortress, you never know what is a bug and what is not :p

For those wondering, it's not an april fools joke, it's legit.
