Release Date: Demo: Currently on DLSite. Full Game Released

DLSite Link:

Note: According to the preview images on DLSite, this game contains at least one Loli scene, hence the Loli tag here. As far as I am aware, it is only the one scene.

This is an RPGMaker game using the standard RPGMaker controls. It features combat pictures, clothing destruction, combat rape, link attacks, H-attacks, an item creation system, H-traps and multiple character classes, so it's fairly involved.

Story: Yatsuha and Shigure, two students at the prestigious Sayo Academy, stumble across a breach into the Nightmare Realm. After being rescued, they become involved with the effort to protect Mitsukino Town from the mærs that lurk there.

Re: NewMoonLabel - Nightmare Girls

It looks like waaaaay too much work to get to the porn.

And I imagine there will be tons of missables along with different routes.

At some point RPG games like this have to wise up and make it less of a time-sink to get a fappin in.

Re: NewMoonLabel - Nightmare Girls

I know it's been in the work :v but I was waiting for DLSite page before making a thread about it (or a trial)

My initial impression was that it's similar to Ahriman's Asagi with the whole status effect sprites and party of girls vs tentacle monsters, with a touch of the usual NML of Futa/Yuri in there.

Re: NewMoonLabel - Nightmare Girls

Looks a lot more like Creature Hunter than any other game. That one's in english, so go give that a shot if you want similar-looking systems.
Hope it uses the same pregnancy system that game had.

Re: NewMoonLabel - Nightmare Girls

I didn't think of the comparison to Creature Hunter... I mean, maybe? I still think it looks like the system is more close to Jumble Jokers, although it has been a long time since I played Creature Hunter. I can at least state that the game does feature pregnancy and egg-laying (these are on the sex stats screen). Perhaps I should actually add a list of all the sex stats on the screen to my page...

Also, super_slicer, if that's your thinking, why are you interested in JRPG H-games at all? It's actually a serious question - I'm thinking of doing my own H-game at some point, and if you can explain your thinking it really would be appreciated. My reasoning is that JRPGs are by their very nature make-work; by analogy if I want a story, I'll read a book or watch a film rather than play a JRPG. If I want a story mixed with some interactive elements and (essentially) a big resource management puzzle, then I play a JRPG. Hence if I just wanted porn, I'd go and watch porn. The only reason I would play a JRPG H-game is if I wanted something more involved. So are there other reasons for playing a JRPG H-game? I'm really curious.

Also incidentally, I have been a critic of NewMoonLabel's writing in the past, but I can at least give them this: they tend to get to hentai very quickly in their games, and off the top of my head I can only think of a single missable H-scene in any of their games.

And yes, I figured at least you'd be tracking this one lazycat, but I also figured that it could use some more attention anyway :) There's threads for games which don't exist outside of development tweets, so why not this one?

Re: [NewMoonLabel] Nightmare Girls

This game seems interesting but how often is the futanari content available from your guy's experiences with his previous games? Mainly because I have no interest in tentacles. So i'm really curious..

Every. Single. One.

As I said in my first post, NewMoonLabel's core competencies are "Robots, Lesbians, Futa and Tentacles". So it's really, really likely there'll be some Futa in the game, too.

If you're talking about how much Futa content is in NewMoonLabels other games, it varies, but I think it's normally about 15-20% of the scenes in any given game - but I am guessing that heavily.

Alright thank you that answered my question. :) I will try this game out at least whenever it comes out.

Re: [NewMoonLabel] Nightmare Girls

This looks promising. But it leaves me with a one question.
Will there be animations for both in game battle and CG?

Re: [NewMoonLabel] Nightmare Girls

I can't say for certain, but it seems pretty unlikely that there will be animations in this game; NewMoonLabel have done animated battle pictures before (Lilium Union), but here they say there are more than 200 battle pictures for the characters, and animating all of those would be a helluva lot of work.

EDIT: NewMoonLabel's blog has been updated. There isn't much in the update, other than vague plans for release. The demo is planned before the end of the year, and will contain 7-8 H-scenes and 1 dungeon. The full game is planned in the first half of next year.

Just thought I'd bump this with some info from the last few blog posts for those interested but not following Japanese blogs.

1. It was hinted before, but the game explicitly has a non-linear structure. There will be a number of self contained sub-scenario stories, which in turn unlock the next parts of the main story (possibly explicitly, or implicitly through level progression). So in other words, the games structure is shifted to something more like a contemporary Western RPG than a strictly linear JRPG. The demo is planned to have 1 or 2 of these sub-scenarios.
2. Some Japanese commenters took the name "Nightmare Girls" to mean that the game would be horror themed. Much to my relief, it's not - or as far as you can take that with a town in which tentacle rape is an everyday occurrence. The tone of the game looks like it's going to be NewMoonLabel's normal style of being somewhat silly and comical.
3. After missions, the heroines have a communal shower scene where they talk about what happened - totally in the interests of character development and not cheap fanservice.
4. And there was a whole bunch of pictures to see as well, including some more enemy combat rape and shower pics.

I've with all the new pictures and everything, and this time round I've translated important bits of the text in the pictures for those who can't read Japanese. Also, a quick request: I've , and it might just be helpful for something I'm planning if people interested in the game could leave comments there - nothing specific, just that you're interested in the game. (I won't discus specifics until I know what, if anything, is going to come of my planning - lots of stuff I need to find out first. And before someone asks, this ULMF thread is not particularly useful for my purposes).

Posted something on that page for you habisain! Thanks for the huge info dump about something that's pretty much dead-on what I'm looking for.

Now to temper my excitement with a heap of patience...

Well, this looks interesting.
If nothing else, I really like the art but from what I gathered it's a combat focused, non-linear standard JRPG?
Some of the pics reminded me of the asagi combat system, with the clothes ripping and the cut-in pics.

The concept of the "end of day shower scenes" sounds interesting. Or is it after every mission?
Well either way, a nice way to maybe put in some more H-content and give a summary or flesh out the characters and their relationship.
I wonder if there will actually be a relationship system with that, sounds like it would make sense, somehow.

Wuumaster Thanks. Indeed, waiting is the hard part.

LostLogia a Personally, I think the combat system may be more reminiscent of Jumble Jokers. Others mentioned Creature Hunter. Time will tell, obviously. Shower scenes occur at the end of every quest (or so I gather). As to relationship stuff... I think there's something like a relationship system? Or perhaps not in those terms, or perhaps not in that much detail. At any rate, something similar would tie in with the "Base Events" - but expect relationships to be fixed between pairs of girls (Yatsuha/Shigure is pretty much confirmed, Yue/Kokia would not surprise me).

Just bumping this thread as the . So you know, people might be interested in that.

This demo was MUCH larger than I thought it'd be. Shame that getting the actual sex to happen is a bit of an ordeal.

Anyone happen to know:

- what the conditions are for a grappled character to get taken out with the cut scene? It seems like it can happen regardless of what the heart gauge is at, and it's sometimes happened with only 2 consecutive failed resists, and yet sometimes they'll hang on for 5 and then escape.

- how to get them pregnant? Maybe I'm just unlucky, but the mid-battle cutscene insta-kill hasn't done it, nor have any of the 'we missed one' emergency escape cut-scenes.

Apologies for anyone hopping in hoping for an update. =P

Thanks for the head sup about the demo, more less making the wiki habisain! Those TL's are a good touch as well, and I hope you'll keep it up to date after the game comes out as well with a general guide and key notable events/different battle elements. This circles always kinda teased and worked somewhat with the in-battle sex stuff here or there, but it really feels like this time they are taking a page from stuff like Moral Sword of Asagi and the like with how the TP plays into effect with grapples/status effects, more less clothing destruction and a small 'progressive' nature towards such sex grapples. I haven't gotten too far in the demo yet, but I am EAGERLY looking forward towards this projects release!

Doesn't it happen when they run out of HP?

No pregnancy in the demo. See comment 25 ( )
