Yeah, the Guardian and RT are Russian-controlled media. Far be it from me to suggest that Western news sources are unbiased or accurate, but Eurasia's even worse, IMO, at actually reporting news and not propaganda.

Silly Hope, Guardian is British (Technically, I think)

RT is pretty much just Russia's propaganda though

That said, Cologne was pretty fucked

Looks like I made a mistake--it would seem I misread one of my books. Alexander Lebedev, a former lieutenant colonel in the KGB, acquired a dominating share in a number of British and French news publications, including the London Evening Standard, the Independent, and the France-Soir. The book discusses how the Guardian reported on the acquisition of the publications, but evidently the Guardian was NOT one of them.

With that said, I still maintain that no news source is completely unbiased--there's always going to be a certain level of bullshit to sift through.

The Guardian is somewhat leftist, but nothing out of bounds.

Besides - something that an absolutely baffling amount of people seem to ignore - the trend towards increased authoritarianism in Russia does not come from communism or even the left in general. United Russia has little official ideology, but has described itself as conservative (which doesn't necessarily mean right wing outside of the US, but there ya go). It's basically a "Russian Circlejerk" party, ideology be damned.

Apparently Britain is a part of Africa now and natively African. Or at least it was before those evil British colonised it(???)
All this because the romans had a legion there that was recruited in Africa

German cops told to ignore refugees committing crime unless the media catches on to a case. Literally a protected class who are de facto allowed to commit crimes without punishment

And of course, since they couldn't do anything because 'they didn't have the manpower' at newyears, they certainly seem to have that manpower once it's about actual Germans protesting

I wonder if air freight is more prevalent now, and it is probably simply cheaper on the US side of things to import from Asia than Europe.

Thought that there were people on the isle long before the Romans came?

Excuse me if I'm wrong as I haven't exactly been a student of British history.

Either way... the fuck does it matter? They were a part of the Roman army, making them Roman, who cares what skin color they had?

OH! THEY WERE BLACK? I see now, that's totally relevant. Because Caucasians should be ASHAMED and personally responsible for what people who had a similar shade of skin did to other people with a different shade of skin, how many years ago? Yes it was bad, and it is everyone's duty to make sure that it doesn't happen again, but unless you've felt the lash of a whip you shouldn't be bitching about slavery.

At this rate, in a hundred years or so, everyone that ever did anything good will be a rainbow, while those who suffered unjustly will be the newest prevailing minority that feels they're entitled to something.

I'm sorry but I'm getting tired of this whole song and dance that seems to be coming from a growing group of people that believe that feelings and appearance outweigh facts and reality. That is something I just cannot stomach, in all but the most extreme cases (feeling that your life is threatened, constant emotional/mental assault) feelings do not outweigh logic and reason.
