WHY oh WHY does Valve put Achievements in their games? They just reset them EVERY UPDATE it seems.

I know people out there who have managed to get through L4D2 on all Campaigns on Expert, who have had their Achievement revoked because of this last update.

Personally, yeah, I don't actively go after Achievements, but when you manage to get 'Stache Whacker, Gaurdin' Gnome, Gong Show, Fried Piper, Cl0wnd, Dismemberment Plan, Septic Tank, Midnight Rider, Armory of One, Burning Sensation, A Ride Denied, AND Level a Charge in ONE run through, only to have them ALL taken away by an update, yeah, it kinda ticks me off.
Sure, most of those are easy enough to get separately, but that's not the point. THE POINT is I managed to do all of them without trying on a SINGLE RUN THROUGH, and honestly, the only part of the game that has ANY replay value to me right now is Versus, because my buddies who were SUPPOSED TO GET IT bitched out at the last minute, complaining about the 'oh, it was supposed to be new content for the first game' shit. Yes, it COULD have been, it SHOULD have been, but it wasn't. Hell, for all their bitching, it's not like THEY would have payed for it, their mommies/daddies/uncles/aunts/grandparents/etc. would have.

TLDR; FUCK YOU VALVE, AND FUCK PEOPLE WHO BITCH OUT FOR NO GOOD GOD-DAMNED REASON.

On a note about Pokemorph's; They aren't necessarily ALWAYS furry. There are Pokemorph's that are more human than Pokemon (think like a cat-girl, tail and ears but nothing else), and they wouldn't be considered furry.

You should play/finish Borderlands if you haven't yet. It's pretty fun, just don't expect it to be mind blowing.

Like I said, I don't typically care, but the way in which I got them was awesome to me, and having them ripped away like I had never gotten them is just kinda shitty, no matter how easy it is to get them back. It's the principle of the matter, really.

I'm just pissed that my 'buddies' were going to ask for it, and then jumped on the 'Fuck L4D2' bandwagon. I wouldn't have a problem with it if they had been opposed to it when this started, but they weren't, they were all for having L4D2 be it's own separate thing, then flip-flopped like they were politicians or something.

I personally rather enjoy L4D2. The melee weapons are pretty kick ass, and the new characters add an element of story. Hell, each of the five campaigns are connected completely just by some voice work. They didn't do that in number 1. I likes me storytime.

I actually kind of like Fran's accent, personally. As for comparing it to being Welsh, I'll have to default to those who hear it more than the American here. As far as accents go, though, Balthier could read the freaking phone book to me and I'd be happy. Nums!

They didn't do that in number 1.

Actually, the first also had the campaigns connected by story, but that bit was removed early on during the first few tests because the testers claimed it was 'demoralising' to have the survivors crash after a campaign. Not to mention they deliberately kept some parts of the story 'open for future expansions'.

I think they realised it was a mistake to take away the story, so L4D got one extra campaign where they show the chopper crashed.(Originally it crashed on the road leading to death toll, and if you look out of just the right window in the first stage of dead air you can see the boat from death toll. Someone made a map of how the survivors travelled, all the way up to the lighthouse, though it's speculation on the exact route used.) There is story in the first L4D, it just got edited out, and then back in, and then out again. And most people aren't going to look for small hints when there's zombies running at you.

Well I did it. I'm a sick bastard who can't keep away from it. And should go die for doing it.
... I preordered both HeartGold and SoulSilver. I get to get a Ho-Oh and Lugia figurine for it. I also heard that between January 30th and February 12th(?), you can go to your Gamestop and get some special Pichu. I... I don't think I'm geeky enough to go up to the cashier and say, "Hey, can you gimme that special edition Pichu?"
