The next morning, each of the girls that had arrived the previous night found rations in their rooms, which they ate heartily.
After what seemed to be a short while, every one of them were summoned by the head of the building. They all proceeded down to the lobby. A blond woman was sitting at a desk, accompanied by an odd girl with white hair who seemed to be carrying a broadsword on her back. She was wearing a maid's outfit, covering the muscles of her arms, but it was obvious she had to be strong in order to lug that thing everywhere.
As everyone rounded up in the lobby, the Director began her speech.
"Welcome everyone, as I'm sure you will soon find, this is not a free vacation. You will have to earn your keep."
Her hand gestured to her right, at a notice board for employees.
"If you want food, weapons, and ammo from me, you must first do me a favor, which will be clarified on this board."
"This might include the menial task of gathering supplies, or even rescuing women who have been captured. Our numbers aren't going to get any larger, and any loss is unacceptable."
"When a mission is classified as too dangerous, my assistant, Shiva, will loan you her support."
As if out of the darkness, another woman, who also appeared to be loyal to the Director, appeared out of the darkness of the room.
She didn't say anything, and the scar on her face made some of the women in the lobby shift in discomfort.
"Don't worry, she's on your side. Hm, hm, hm..."
She says as she chuckles.
"One more thing, I see many of you are ill-equipped, You all have permission to access our supplies, but should you not be earning your keep, you will get nothing. That is all."
She dismissed everyone, stood up from her desk, then proceeded up the stairs, followed by her two accomplices.
