that was the idea since it includes the file to unlock all the scenes and saves at different points before some of the bosses for those that wanted that instead of unlocking everything.

VNR isn't always the best. TA / chiistrans tend to work well with rpg maker game

I tried the various other hook tools. None of them worked, either. AGTH just crashes.

Clear the game there are choice to unlock everything

already knew about that since i said in my first post i finished it the save is for those that ether want everything unlocked right away without playing through it at all or want a save before some of the bosses.

I tried to use the 'RPGMakerMVGame Hook patcher' tool, but text boxes freeze up.

That sucks. The developer's last game worked fine with hooking.

Corrupted how? Won't extract, won't run, or it gets stuck whilst running?

It opens then says various files were are corrupted and then I am forced to close it

If the game open and say corrupted file, are the file there with the right name ?
It could be a problem caused by unpacking the archive / playing the game on non japanese local setting

The problem maybe is related to dont have your winrar updated to a version above 5.0

Winrar was updated and I downloaded and unpacked it in Japanese. That was the first thing that came to mind when it said corrupted. I guess I'm just not lucky
