Hi there everyone,
I am Darktoz and I am creating fetish games and nightmarish xxx scenarios. I am back with another game, that I would like you to check out: Captured by Dark Elves: Arachna's Return! A prison survival game with a lot of fetish content. The public demo is completely free, ready to be tried out!

The Game:

You have been captured by a small group of dark elven hunters, who are bringing you to an old mine, the skull mine, in the ancient mountains where you and other captured humans and elves are forced to dig for ore, gems and artifacts. The dark elves of the noble house Bavaeleth are known for their cruelty and their devotion to the old gods. Recently the house executed all male members in order to gain the favour of Goddess Demorra, the Queen of Pain.
Soon you discover that even most of the dark elves don't know exactly what they're looking for in the skull mine and that some of them are pretty upset with Matron Mother Valyrr Bavaeleth who gave the order to leave their home city for this dwarven mine.
While you're trying to survive this dangerous place full of weird creatures, you also have to please your captors whenever they demand your services and earn enough skulls (the dark elven currency) everyday to buy food and water. Maybe you are losing your mind in this place, maybe the situation is just too much for you, but the longer you are in this place, the more you begin to hear a voice in your head, haunting you when you sleep, calling your name...

Interesting game however I have a few doubts about some things, so gonna ask them:

-First of all one question that I actually have is how many days will we be in the game?, while it is interesting the concept this can influence a lot how the player is gonna play it, if it is too short then many people will need a perfect walkthrough.

-Second the current trait system while it's okay I feel weird that by levelling up I learn sex skills, wouldn't it make more sense to receive lessons or something like that?, the same I would say for the combat skills, in fact if I remember right there was a dark elf that you could ask her for fighting lessons (without success but you could). I imagine that for example paying 10 skulls for each basic sex skill would be okay, that would mean the first few days that you can actually get one basic skill per day which would enable a perfect walkthrough if you play this game correctly.

-Third is that I would actually expect that a few slaves would be selling their services or something like that, I think that when you are hungry and thirsty you would be kind of desperate.

-About food items I have to say that it isn't balanced, water is the best item in the game for the start, in fact from what I have seen the optimal thing is not overwork yourself and always be high hp, because it's truly hard recovering hp compared to sp, I don't know if it was intended.

-The bodies of the images are kind of nice however I would say that the dicks need a bit more of work.

-Another question is, you lose affection if you ask things that they don't wanna talk about?.

-Another thing is that perhaps it would be okay to add some random incidents on the mines and that you can help slaves/dark elves earning a bit of affection with them while losing a few sp or perhaps hp.

-Finally I just hope that the dark elves can take interest in different slaves under certain conditions, not something that may happen in every walkthrough but that you should push it a bit as the player to unlock it.

To end this just gonna say that I'm personally a bit happy that your patreon is doing better everytime I see it, personally when I played your first game while it was a bit on the novice side attemp I thought "this is different", the second game was quite better than the first and this one seems to continue becoming better.

Only thing I didn't expect is that you were gonna add male x male scenes, I truly hope that they are optional haha.

P.D: I think that the double attack should be 5 SP rather than 10, but this is a tiny balance issue.

- I don't know how many days will be there. It has a day counter to trigger various scenes, but it's difficult to say. It is planned that the next big event is after 10 days or so (maybe the next arena fight or a ritual of some sort, I am not sure).

- Yes, I'm not so sure about the current skill system myself. It is planned that Talice, the Dark Elf will teach you some more advanced combat techniques once her affection is high enough, maybe the more advanced sex skills have to be taught by a trainer as well, maybe another slave. There is room for improvement.

- Well, it's more balanced than you think, because Stamina can also be regenerated when you sleep. To get health back isn't quite as easy...and you will fight more dangerous creatures than just rats on the next days. Plus you can't use water in battle.

- Yes, the dick is a big issue. I've made some changes, and it really looks a lot better now, but because of the different skin of the dark elves it will never look 100% perfect. That's why every futa dark elf is wearing a cockring now

- No, it just indicates that your affection isn't high enough. That's just for the smalltalk however. You can loose affection when picking the wrong answers in certain events

- Yes, that will most likely happen

- The male on male will be optional (you don't have to romance one of the 3 male slaves). I am planning to even make the futanari optional (you don't have to choose malthara or Elorae yourself. But I think you might end up watching them taking advantage of other slaves instead of yourself)


And thanks for taking interest in my journey. I remember when I released the first game BDSM Tournament almost exactly 10 months ago, which got me like 12 patreons overall and everyone was telling my that my content is way too niche to ever get successful

About futanari being optional... I don't think it should, I mean if you are a slave of the dark elves I think it's kind of normal that they would use you without a chance to say no. In fact I would say that most people that are your patreons have seen quite a few scenes with strap-on however perhaps this decision should be left to your supporters in a poll.

Well you have usually done themes about heavy femdom and I think that's the core of your games, I only talked about male on male because it's quite different than femdom itself, of course if you give the option to skip scenes then (personally) I wouldn't even care if the male on male scenes were forced (but seeing that everyone is a slave and that most males are a bit too push-overs then I don't think any of them would truly try to force you).

Hah, I guessed that about the cockrings. Same thing was done in Skyrim (collars,necklaces) to help with the body/head texture seams.

Interesting game background, lots of flexibility for stuff.

Are the affection stats just for content blocking (talk X amount of times to unlock), or will they change paths? Like the first sex encounter in the cell at night. Does choosing one or the other just unlock that one scene content, or does it take the story in a different direction? Be nice if you could play politics with the elves, considering you've already put some strife between them in the story. Curious as it makes the difference between a visual novel and a 'game' as it were (depending on your definition). Or at the least does getting on the good side of someone maybe make a nighttime encounter a bit 'easier' on the PC (maybe gives them scene choices).

One game mechanic suggestion, maybe have a sleep event warning or some other SP regen mechanic open to the PC. As for the cage fight, if you chose that night to train... you get taken there and the fight is unwinnable due to low SP. Restarting the fight is pointless (better to take you back to the cell) as it's unwinnable. So with no warning, how do you choose the times where you train and risk dying if something happens (due to low SP)? Every night will be a save scum.

I think demo is terrible. I was forced into battle with a crawler with only 13 hp.

Savescumming is mandatory in this game and the crawler fight pisses me off because I spent last two days fighting off mice/bats while trying to mine so I only had 13 hp. I cannot win against crawler nor forfeit or anything its just an game over. Had I known that I'm supposed to savescum and avoid the rubble piles with monsters in them i would've had at least some hp for the fight. Poor design decision.

I want my thirty minutes I wasted back.

edit: well after I left home to do stuff I needed to do and came back then I decided to restart from the beginning and savescummed every time I mined so that I would always get an Iron Ore and obsidian. That let me have two sausages and one water. And gave out one skull to the blondie.

Eating the sausage once plus I hit level 2 let me have enough hp/stamina to spam the double strike move until I ran out of stamina and landed one plain melee strike which finished it off. Seeing the faces on those three dark elves being shocked made it worth it while Talice's reaction was like what I expected. She seems like she likes whoever has the skill and strength.

Seems alright but maybe almost everyone will definitely get an gameover on their first playthrough on the crawler fight and be forced to restart and do same things that I did. I have this thread on subscribe now just to see the further developments. This is rare because I prefer anime style but you made me have an exception to the rule.

And i notice that you spell savely when you should be spelling it as safely. Savely is the wrong way to say that word.

I'm pretty sure pornhub videos is fine here. Because this is a hentai forum.. the censors on the youtube video was pretty annoying

@tontoman: It will change the story. Like I already did it with my other game, The Asylum, choices will matter and are not only there for content blocking.

And you're right, should explain the cell mechanics at least once.

@Ericridge: Sorry to hear that you had so much trouble with it. Most of the other players didn't have that much trouble, but some really had the same problem failing at the crawler fight for the first time. With bread and water you can get back to full health almost every day when you focus on obsidian over iron ore. However you are right, it was difficult to beat the crawler. It was a design decision to make it that difficult. A few others already mentioned that there should be some kind of warrning for the crawler fight to come up and I already implemented that (Samira will give you a hint when you walk past her on the second day with the next update).

Ah, and thanks for correcting my spelling mistake. I'm not a native speaker. I try to improve day by day by writing fiction in english, but from time to time I don't even get the basics right
