Re: The Legend of Queen Opala 2

does anyone know where the location cursed gallion?
i've tried exploring namaria but still didn't find it :(
I believe on the wiki site (and hopefully that it is refering to the cursed galleon) it said this:

the ship travels west from the monastery island (I think specifically from it's penisula area ~ but I can't remember) to the edge of the map, and then back east to the monastery island. back west to edge of map, then back east to monastery island... etc etc etc

Re: The Legend of Queen Opala 2

Ultimate list (In case you didn't know)

There are 8 ultimates in the post game content. They are as follows, but not necessarily in this order.

1. Eclipse (Walk into your fully upgraded house on Greenfield, and walk back out. He walks in with Neena and challenges you. Go to Guild of Heroes to fight him)
2. Nabonaga (Go back and say you want to fight him)
3. Goddess Spirit (Thebes, Garden of Akatuk.....or something like that.)
4. Naccia (Tower of Despair. See all floors, then reach the top of the tower. If you reach the top of the tower before seeing all the rooms, you fight her anyways, but to the top after seeing all the rooms lets you fight her again, much stronger.)
5. Mother of Namaria (Valethorn. She talks to you about killing her children, then attacks you with two trees.)
6. ??? Reborn (Can't remember his name, but he was the legendary boss...i think. Open all blue crystals, go to the crystal temple, go through the door that stays locked till all crystals are activated, and do the dungeon at the far back of the new area.)
7. Pirate guy...von....musketeer hat guy....(The captain of the ghost ship. just find the ship, sailing between the edge of the map and the monastery. Once onboard, open ALL treasure chests. When you get done, Kai should say something about hearing something from the captain's room. Go find it, and kill the....undead.....pirate guy.......)
8. Balls! (Find the temple of sacrifice, and get to the end of the temple to walk in on six balls having a party/discussion/war meeting. The giant blue ball attempts to make conversation, but Kai is unresponsive to whatever the hell its saying, and like I would have loved to have done with the monologue man, they get upset and attack your party.)

In my opinion, the balls were the hardest fight, even with a party full of lvl 99 characters, two of the four with max 999 stats, I was still able to get one shot killed by the giant blue ball. The only thing that saved my ass was that I had 99 of most of the revive potions, and of the potent elixirs.

I'm not sure if I was just over analyzing what Nabonaga, Goddess, and Mother said, but they talked about Kai's team...Nabonaga "Perhaps there is only one challenge left for you." Goddess. "You might be the only one that can beat the one." Mother "Maybe some good comes from this. You might be able to beat the one."

Now, in that, Naccia claims that she is the strongest(As well as Eclipse, but I had a harder time with Naccia) and she sounds very sure that Kai won't beat her. Is she supposed to be the one that they are talking about? Or is it something that comes up in new game Ultra?(There weren't many more hints, other than Nabonaga, Goddess, and Mother, since the balls you couldn't understand, and Duke von pirate pants was only interested in his treasure being stolen, and Eclipse just being baffled that you could even scratch his face, and Naccia just kinda.....being banished to the demon realm. And there really wasn't much dialogue with reborn demon guy.)

Also, I'm having some trouble finding out how to get the achivement that seems to indicate a fight against the whole team. I haven't started New Game Ultra yet(I know there is a meeting with Jake, but I'm not sure how that could turn my entire team against me.)

Also, has anyone tried to see what happens if you go after Bastorahl the first time without any party members on your active party? Your active party are the ones to fight you, so if you don't have an active party, what happens?

Re: The Legend of Queen Opala 2

Could someone who has a 95%+ save please upload it? It enjoy the game but I get a little too frustrated trying to clear everything; it stops being fun after a while. I'm on NG Ultra now and am only at about 80% -.-

The third time through every area and well.... yeah.

From the Offbeatr

... be given the opportunity to romance the lead female Farah, a scene that will only appear in your personal version of the game, plus all the lower rewards from $600 and below
So, only one person gets to romance Farah, in a game where she's the only one of the Egyptian girls?

Sounds like we'll be playing Legend of Cockblock&NTR 3 intead of LoQO3.

I almost feel bad for Sir GenericBackstory.

Re: The Legend of Queen Opala 2

I personally have difficulty imagining why anyone would WANT to romance her in the first place. Considering how she willingly throws herself at pretty much anything with a functioning reproductive organ, I'm just struggling to see the point or even appeal of "romance"

To each his own I guess, but I'm fairly sure I'm far from the only one who found the Egyptian girls the worst part of the LOQO series. People can misinterpret the concept of NTR all they want (none of the girls have shown any interest in "Kai" during the entire game, so the girls are hardly being "taken" from him) and the series is generally unsuccessful for anyone who would self-insert into the protagonist for those very reasons (LOQO simply is not a harem game) But the overall erotic content was quite good, the story was decent whenever it avoided forcing the Egyptian trio into the narrative too. Basically, I'd personally pass up on getting any more of the worst of LOQO, while the creator seems to think it's actually the best?

While you may be right about the second game, and your opinion on the whole romancing the Egypt girls aspect the first game is basically a harem game. I mean, you can end with a wife, mommistress and househo, 3 slaves and househo, and many different combinations thereof so the first game had definite harem elements. Now, don't get me wrong, I appreciate the greater depth in the second game and a lot of the improved elements, but the semi-happy ending (if ya know what I mean) aspect of the first game seems to have been eviscerated from the second game completely. No sense of accomplishment on a game that I play for most definitely the porn, and not so much the gameplay as those games play fairly similarly. Also, thanks for the save andor, while I do want to play through to get some of the animations (like the one where it seems you finally get to bang Opala) I really have no idea what I'm going to think of the rest of the game. Mind you, I think I got as far as most of the end of chapter 2 or whatever it was called, but I may just wait for the Golden Edition to ease some of the balance issues and kind of as an homage to the fact that the first LOQO I played was also the Golden Edition. Thanks for the great game, Gabe, and do your best to learn from both games and the criticism you've received, and I wish you luck on the third game.

She explained this on her blog that it didn't mean what it looked like. There will be a romance option for Farah with generic guy, but those who donate the required amount get a personal romance option with Farah as well.

@ Censuur
It wouldn't really be a LoQo game without the Egyptian women. Your entitled to your opinion, but if the three egyptian women aren't your thing, then LoQo series isn't your thing, sorry.

@Puckreathof
The very very very very small explaination they gave for why things are different is that the egyptian girls feel like the heavens seems to have just wiped Jake out of existance.(My thought is he ran off with Nipha to the anthro paradise.)

Oh, I didn't need an explication on the whereabouts of Jake, I thought it was implied fairly well that he is no more, and one of the LOQO endings does imply that even with your 'victory' that foul things will be afoot (the good good ending, I think) and so yeah, I get it, Jake is dead, and we needed a new slightly different protag, but in the first game, you had varying degrees of personal poon reward if you so chose, Jake could marry Opala, bone Farah in his own house no less, get a househo, (good endings) or he could totally pull off a brilliant (I guess?) coup and manage to get himself not only Farah and Opala as slaves but Osira as well (and the househo.. maybe homeho is better? manorstitute? ).

As I said, the tone of the second game changed, and while I haven't beaten it yet I get the feeling from a few that the end game rewards don't seem to match the higher difficulty of the game, and I understand that there are varied reasons for this, one of which simply being that yes Kai is not the horndog Jake is, money, and all kinds of other meta and non meta reasons and further, I admit, it is kind of hard to top the harem you get at the end of game one, no matter how you slice it.

The paintings on the wall in the league of perverts, is there any way to view them?

To my knowledge, no.

And I'm not sure if I'm repeating myself, but yeah, I loved that about the first game.

In the first game you could have upwards to five servants depending on choices. My favorite ending was and always will be the hidden ending, partially for the ability to have all three of the royals, the Pleasure Jester, and Naacia in my house(Naacia in the dream world of course)as my personal servants/women.

Maybe my tastes are a bit bland, but I enjoyed the idea of the hero taking control of the land as its new ruler and getting the hot chicks to himself after doing pretty much all the work(whether you work for Opala or Osira, you're still pretty much the main guy getting shit done while everyone sits around and acts good/evil).

Part of my love for it may be the rarity in it. How rare it is to me to see a hero who can be selfish and self serving in the face of all of the quests and side plots he has to go through.

Then in Opala II we have Kai, who is pretty much a walking trope of the good alignment regardless of your choices in the game.

It actually makes me wonder the point of the alignment standing choices since it has nothing to do with the plot or game at all.

Re: The Legend of Queen Opala 2

Worst part is that when you give negative responses to pretty much all of the three Egyptians, you still get along perfectly in the end and are sexually attracted to them (despite constantly telling them off for basically being sex-starved whores and being generally disapproving of their entire behavior and the choices they make o_O)

On this general topic of choices I still say my earlier given concept COULD work if it wasn't for time and money constraints:

Bastorahl confronts Kai to talk to him in the throne room in Grand Aideen in Episode II during the assault on the city. It's been a while since that point for me, so I'm not fully certain but I definitely recall Bastorahl offering Kai some kind of joint partnership and Kai, being stuck in the good alignment, turns the offer down and talks some more about how Bastorahl's evil is wrong and unjust.

Sometime after that, when you face him in Castle Conquest, he informs you that he set everything up for you to be considered a true hero of Namaria and for you to replace the king with the approval of the masses, while he controls you through some crazy ancient Neverus stuff from the shadows(his whole line is a major hint when he tells Osira Namaria will fall without war early on).

A damned good idea would be an option in the throne room to give the injured king a killing blow to prove your loyalty and accept the truce, then go evil.

Since this is basically towards the tail end of everything story-wise involving the Namarian continent before you head to Egpyt and then the west coast, only the final third of the game's story, released as Episode 3, and the ending would need an alternate route.

Furthermore, for an "I Can Rule Alone" type ending, it'd be easy to just use the same formula from the first game: Have occasional optional things that lead Kai to somehow overthrowing Bastorahl and maybe even either becoming more powerful than him or just rendering him powerless somehow, and betraying him. Then only the very tail end of the story would need yet another alternate setting. Just the very end.

In my opinion this definitely could have been doable, even though I never bothered to lay out every single bare specific about how the west coast would go in my head or anywhere else for that matter. But I'm not so sure now, Gabe's basically marching onward towards Opala III and at best we'll see some minor option to marry the Egyptians or something similar in the Golden Edition, however long that takes.
