Re: Another Dimension Heavy Ryona Game
To be quite frank,I actually find it quite enjoyable when actual discussion related to the topic at hand is going on, although it's fun to play along with this side-tracking every now and then.
Just to keep this post on-topic, I'll give what I think about the game so far.
I'm probably repeating myself, but I don't have anything against ryona, quite frankly I can absolutely tolerate it and thus I can tolerate this game, not saying I hate it.
I don't know if people are actively keeping track of the game, but I started playing it at Demo 0.3, which changed some things from the previous builds. I still haven't bothered to play the older builds but things were shuffled around a bit.
What's been changed so far since vers 0.2
-Added Storyline(I assume it didn't have one before hand? I still need to check the older builds)
-Impaler Trap and Ghost Blob are now gone(for now.)
-Acid Trap was changed in some way. something about "removing the old acid pool because it looked like piss" to quote the creator.
-The Humiliator/floating green blob was added which is the only enemy so far that violates the character, they start showing up in the 4th or 5th room? I don't remember exactly.
-As Manty said above, 2nd Chapter was added, there is also now a Chapter select, that allows you to start off on this section, which is accessed from starting a new game.
-Also as Manty said above, as of the current version, they added another monster, the Vore Plant, it does exactly as the name implies.
The game does start off pretty simple, just acid pool traps that are no real threat unless you screw up some jumps, although it does get trickier once the gallows are thrown in, forcing you to carefully maneuver yourself mid-jump so you can get across while dodging the gallows and not falling into the pool of acid below.
It wasn't till I think the room where the white floating orbs/Suckers(and by suck, I mean it's obviously not what most people would have pop in their head when they think suckers) that problems start to arise.
Sometimes I feel that either the character should be able to jump higher or they should decrease the size of some of the ledges, since I can barely make two particular jumps in this room involving ledges she can barely reach, with a cell trap below waiting to capture you if you mess up the jump. Other than that though, the room isn't too difficult, in my opinion anyways, if it wasn't for those jumps.
After that room you have the Humiliator, who's a green blob that kind of slides towards you, like it was sliding on ice. Thankfully you can easily dodge it by faking it out like this, properly timing your jumps over it and running like hell before it catches up to you.
The very last room before the 2nd chapter is just another silly math question that screws you over if you get it wrong. Forever re spawning you in that room unless you start a new. With the newly implemented chapter select however, you can just skip it completely.
With that all said though, I personally think the direction the game is going atm is pretty smooth, the current deaths implemented in the game atm aren't really that "Heavy" in nature, that may change over time, but given that the creator has already became open to the idea of including more H, I'll be keeping an eye out for updates.
