But really, my guess is he probably wasn't working on the Guro game with a sexual mindset. Remember how he decided to completely remove the hentai element from it? My only thought for that is he believed over-sexualizing a game in which the protagonist can also be brutally murdered would send the wrong message about himself and his game.

Note that we all play video games in which the main character and the characters around them can be killed, and not always the pretty Fire Emblem sort of death. I mean bleeding out, alone and in pain after taking a bullet.

Just because she ran around in a swimsuit for the demo doesn't mean his intentions were for people to jerk it to his work.

Course, I could be wrong, this is just my take on the whole thing.

Of course it can make sense based on the explanation of everyone who chimed in, but yeah, I don't see think that was worded properly. How anything can be more extreme than having one's flesh torn asunder is beyond me.

To be fair, showing someone getting brutally decapitated, limbs ripped apart, blood everywhere, or at the very least intense violence is infinitely more acceptable in today's media (at least in America) than showing tits.

So again, to be fair, as much as I agree that violence is the "end all, be all" of disturbing content as it removes life and ends possibilities, according to America's codes of morality, violence is sadly very low on the scale of "bad things" whereas nudity is pretty much akin to the worst thing EVERRRR

thankfully that's somewhat beginning to change, but a lot of us are still in a country where it's perfectly alright to brag about wanton killing of animals or beating the hell out of other human beings in the public eye, yet anything pornographic, or sexual, or nudity-wise, must be kept behind locked doors.

Yeah, it was probably badly worded maybe because he is not native english speaker, or maybe it's just "extreme" in the sexual aspect, just like torture is a no no for him in the guro aspect, no need to mix both guro and hentai in the same bag.

But then again where do you draw the line? Just because scat is not as "extreme" as guro, that doesn't mean you should automatically like scat if you are into guro.

Is "extreme" the new buzzword of the moment?

I don't Develop H-Content but i work with friends and indie companies on 3d assets (environments, characters, weapons etc)

i know how hard it can be to generate content for a game let alone code it all in so it functions properly..

generating Eggs and birthing process can take a while to code and then you have to add the additional animations and frames in Flash for the character and aliens that will be impregnating her.

im not on either side but im just stating how things are in terms of developing...

Hell, if people are interested you can try to mimic his style and create fan content for him and if he sees that everyone is on board with it and helping out he may incorporate it. (chances are low though but its still there)

edit: i will say this though, Alien games generally have eggs or cross breeding birthing in them for a reason... its just how Sci-Fi is with people who are into H games... if we didn't like that, then we may as well just go with regular H games that take place in our time

I can personally assure you that the coding is the easiest part, the real hassle as you said yourself would be drawing new sprites and animations and if it was me I wouldn't want to put extra effort and extra time in something I don't really like, but that's me, if he wants to go the extra mile to please a small group of people with certain fetish, because I really dont think is that big, then whatever, just let's hope the same thing that happened with the first game doesn't happen again.

I vote yes for it. He needs to get out of this "Hypocrit" thing of his.

If he thinks creating Guro series in past. And believe thats not too much. Then set in "Too much for me" with Egg/Birthing. Then thats the most fucked up excuse i've ever heard. But he still has "Maybe", considering his personal dislike, which lacks explaination or reason being for his Guro crap.

You want to make a H Game? Make it as interesting as it can get. Innovation and ask always for some help, if possible. Doing it all alone is gonna take some real time. And may bore you that much, that consideration to give up happens.

I hate to be this insistent, I'm obviously biased but you cann't put words this big in personal tastes. Guro is pretty much the extreme of the spectrum, going by that logic any kind of fetish ever should be automatically acceptable now.

Selective disgusts. I can look at a lot of guro just fine, except more extreme versions, yet when it comes to having a girl plugged full of eggs it always tends to blech me out.
