Also, remember when their staff posted here last year about "put to rest the rumors about the game being close to die"?
Now they stated on their blog that the game was really close to die last year...

What a sad day. I've been playing both the Nutaku and DMM version of this so my progress is not affected, But I will miss the English version this.

I've seen many games from Nutaku and DMM goes offline but this one might be the one that affect me the most. I guess this is it for me at Nutaku. Oh well, I can focus more on my DMM games with this so it's not that bad for me. Atleast that what I try to say for myself. orz

Pero Pero Seduction died like a year ago on DMM, but SuperHippo (the real people behind localizing some games on Nutaku who deserve most of the hate Nutaku gets instead) got duped into BUYING the rights to its development, so I don't think they'll back down quickly from trying to keep it alive.

For now it seems Nutaku is heading more towards the "Steam for Western porn games" route instead of "Steam for Japanese localized porn games" route, and I don't fucking like it one bit.
Exhibit A:
I will admit, the art direction isn't bad, but "card game" usually means "card collection simulator."
I like how that page is basically a blatant rip off of League of Legends. They can't even make up their own content without stealing it from other popular games. All these shitty western games have nothing but titty monsters in em too, so on top of the less than appealing art, there's that to deal with as well. Double negative for me.

Welcome to postmodernism, friend.
At least it won't be as bad as literally re-using entire asset sets from other online games, like Kingdoms of Lust did.
...right?

Or Pussy Saga that literally traced already well known H art and used it in their game without altering it at all. Fuck Nutaku and their western garbage.

Just thought I leave my farewell message here to the great MWA community here and also a message to Nutaku and team (if they/Nordland still linger around this thread)

In response to the article above posted by Nutaku and to be really honest here, the primary reason why there is insufficient financial revenue generated from this game is due to the irregular or non-existent of customer appreciation/services towards the intended audience.
This is 101% your fault, Nutaku.
You were meant to be the people's champion but you failed to produce at least a win-win scenario for both developer and player community.
Alarm bells should gone out loud and banging in your backend office in 2015 when Dev/Yourself failed to do the following
- Regular events to keep up with the player's pace (just try comparing yourself here versus DMM)
- Rewards and Incentive for the player community (I am sure everyone knows how often we get free SC's and special events for the players, a good decent amount of satisfactions generated by the game have a strong tendency to boost player spend on the game overall)
- Unable to compete with the latest game trends (Anyone remember the news when Aigis was suppose to go on mobile platform? This could have tripled the game's user platform due to portability and potential whales/dolphins. I am one of those avid mobile gamers so I know how strong our whales can be)

Your closure article here just reeks of evasive responsibility despite being aware of the issues for close to 3 years. While it does make sense from a business point of view but no business would have handle the same way that you did if they were aware that this product is not "doing" well from pilot phase due to rogue elements that are not strictly controlled/managed by you as the publisher. Naturally there is a business cost to doing or investing on all the elements above but as you did not boldly take that approach, it is a no brainer why there is no financial backing from the players for MWA.
You don't just go and hope all things will go well by just only communicating feedback with DevTea when there were many other things that you could have done.

Well anyway, you still have my thanks Nutaku for bringing this game into a localised version. And at the same time, I will no longer be able to support your business as a customer. Cheerios!

And as for the MWA player community, it has been a pleasure stalking this forum and reading everyone's post :)
My MWA profile below. RIP!

So as a bit of a whale on Nutaku Aigis, I am mildly (Yeah right) pissed the fuck off. I'm actually quite done with Nutaku and just decided to swap over to DMM Aigis a few minutes ago. And much to my grand surprise, I had forgotten that I made an account on it AGES ago but never actually did the tutorial. Meaning I now have over 100 SC, two sapphire units and more. So yeah, somewhat fair compensation for the closure I'd say.

The very first thing I did when I saw the news was delete the DMM Aigis apps off of my phone and tablet. :D

Okay, first, sorry if it seemed like I was bragging or something.

Second, this can't even be considered a bribe since switching to dmm was something I was going to do way back when I originally made the account I just forgot about the account when irl shit occurred.

I was just trying to comment on some minor good fortune that I only noticed because some stupid shit occurred that affects all of us. Do those sc match up to what I've paid for on nutaku? Fuck no, not even close. Do they make up for cancelling this out of fuck all nowhere? Hell no. Am I going to keep playing? Yeah, because I genuinely enjoy this game. And if I happen to have a bit of an advantage thanks to something I did a while ago that I thought was vaguely amusing due to the irony then I thought I would share it here because I like this community well enough from my mostly lurking and occassional posting.

Tl;dr: I get it, we're all pissed, and I'm sorry if I seemed smug.

Those who don't move to DMM to continue playing just genuinely didn't enjoy the game for the game itself and thats perfectly fine. Moving to DMM doesn't mean supporting them, I've been over there for years now and haven't dropped a dime on the game.

On a positive note that promised legend card I made 2 months ago went to FGO instead so thanks Nutaku and DMM for making my choice an easy one. Burned $80 and $45 in Google play gift cards and got me Okita.

Yeah I was playing FE:H/FGO and aigis now Its down to just FE:H and FGO. Plus by losing Aigis I have more time to grind on FGO I guess this was an lose/win scenario for me.. And yeah u looked kinda smug np. But goign over to the DMM server means you approve of their decision to pull Aigis from Nutaku. I pretty much have dropped Nutaku. Well I do still log into Armor Blitz but it isn't very satisfying to play.. Enemies always better than me and drops tanks faster than I will ever be able to.

Going to DMM does not mean you approve of the decision to pull. Not in the slightest. It means you want to continue playing and enjoying the game. Thats it.

I started my DMM account when the English version started getting break weeks after our lengthy set of straight events after the massive 6 week break during the summer. I actively played both since only dropping the English version due to the shut down announcement.

FEH is Fire Emblem Heroes.

I’m playing both FEH and FGO, though a good Halloween Nowi eluded me in the former (I have a -spd one) and I’m saving for London/Xmas lolis in the latter.

I want to continue playing the game because I enjoyed it, BUT I don't want to move to DMM if it means that I would have to start over from scratch. I've put too many hours into this version that I would get completely burnt out doing it all again, especially if it isn't even in english.

Yeah, looking back at it I did come off really smug, mb. And I tend to multi-task my grinding for FGO and Aigis so no time lost/gained there. And yeah, Armor Blitz was really frustrating for the little bit I played, I dropped it cuz I burnt out really quickly.

The pace of DMM vs Nutaku is completely different. In about 3 months I had an account on DMM that was approximately equivalent to my Nutaku account and that was before the rotating revival. You severely underestimate how useful 100% drop rates are in getting your account stable. Not to mention there's a daily rotating revival that allows you to farm any drop unit in approximately a 1 month rotation.

At the end of the day its everyone's choice, but the entry factor to DMM Aigis is pretty minimal. The menus aren't all that different from the English version and are pretty easy to navigate. Not to mention between the discord servers and Petite's translations, the information is out there for the DMM version.

I'm just disappointed at Nutaku for not being able to keep Aigis and many other dmm games,
wouldn't be surprised if they axed FKG and KH next. Yes, DMM was mostly responsible for closing it,
but saying Nutaku had no influence in the decision is 'yeah sure'.

They just want to bring all those western crap games over.
