What am I doing in this thread? Saw a new game was getting translated, had a look at the thread. Saw some amusing discussion going on about the "soul crushing" ntr, and thought I would say something too. I actually am genuinely curious to know how and why the people that are into NTR like it. The response I am hoping for when I say is an explanation of why they like it, not "shaddap people can like what they want" I know people can like what they want, and it is fair enough, that is what internet porn is for. If I had been given an actual point of view on why someone likes NTR, maybe I would understand where they are coming from a bit better.

When NTR (or even good old rape) is treated 100% seriously and happens to characters that I like, most of the time it's far too sad and dramatic to be a fap material for me. And this game is exactly like this. But that's not a bad thing at all. I'm just treating it as a serious, story-oriented RPG that just happens to use tons of sex as drama material. And it does a pretty damn good job as such.
Fap material is great and all, but I really like when eroge also offers something more - like fun gameplay mechanics or interesting storyline (even if it makes the ero too serious to be fappable). Yes, I like playing porn games for the plot once in a while. XD

Also, while I do like the NTR genre, I'm kinda doing it wrong to begin with - theoretically it's supposed to make you feel jealousy and such, not sadistic enjoyment from seeing main characters suffering...

Personally what i like from NTR games is that most of the time girls start falling slowly and get more bitchy everytime to the point they are complete sluts (since corruption is a common genre used with NTR), same reason why i like corruption games even if they arent NTR, corruption and NTR are genres that a lot of times go together, and since its just fiction, i dont mind the NTR part if the girl likes it more and more each time, thats just me anyways, i hope this works for you XD

I agree with this, it is good for eroge to have plot sometimes. But personally if I want eroge with a plot I would steer clear of RPGM type games, and NTR (as honestly if I care about the characters why on earth do I want to watch them getting r$ped?, for me it doesnt really add sadness or drama, it just pisses me off). For eroge with plot I play visual novels (not nukige ones).

I do enjoy corruption games, my favorite game is the first one I played (which got me into hentai RPGM games in the first place) which is Arms Devicer. I can also put up with NTR if it is not serious and you dont have to see it all the time (e.g. last few OneOneOne games, altho they need to come up with a new game format, last 3 have been the same but with different CGs pretty much). But NTR, if it is in something I enjoy, where I care about the characters, nooo, the dudes that are into that must be masochists =P.

This also relates to another thing I have seen NTR fans say. I see people say that for a game to be NTR, it has to have a male protagonist, and the male protagonist has to be the one getting NTRd, not sure how true this is. Dno about u guys but if I play as a male protagonist in an RPG, I will roleplay (subconciously) the male MC, so role play a guy getting NTR'd. Not fun (imo) -.-. This is actually why I AVOID any h-games with a male MC (as you are basically either A. A guy getting NTR'd or B. Some total prick going around r$ping people). Screw those roleplay options -.-

But thanks for giving me your view, I mean it shows it is not so far from what I like, I just need the NTR element to be missing or minor/humorous (which in truth, alot of the time, the NTR in these hentai games is just funny). I have actually played Misuki (something like that) which was NTR, but it didnt force the NTR in your face all the time, and it felt more like it was just corruption.

Thanks for everyone that answered, it seems that this one isn't a game made for me, I can deal with a lot of things but drama and the NTR on godtier is quite a lot, I'm one of those that like to have avoidable NTR in a game and doesn't have a problem to fall into it if it is a result of my actions or inaction.

Same. I enjoy games where the NTR can be avoided. Even if the main focus of the game is NTR, I'd prefer if there is an optional "good" ending, where the MC doesn't get totally screwed over or he ends up with the girl, even if it wasn't happy stuff from beginning to end.
I haven't played this game, but I get the feeling that the good ending I'm looking for doesn't exist here...

That being said, you should try it out anyway if you want to broaden your horizons a bit, even people full of malice that enjoys this level of sadism can enjoy some vanilla titles like To Heart or Muv Luv, I'm sure the same can be said for the other side of things. You just need to prepare yourself mentally, keep an open mind, and maybe a tissue box for tears instead of sperm this time. I haven't seen yet any fetish that other people wouldn't find it weird if they don't have it.

Personally I like good storylines and events in adult games and the fetishes are a bit secondary for me, but of course heavy stories with a lot of drama I just can't play them, I can't see some drama movies too, not too fond of sadness and heavy feelings.

But what I mean to say is that people are too complex to understand, why do we like x or y? who knows. Not really, most NTR fans have gotten used to and is desensitized to a lot of it, they not gonna go anal over little stuff like NTR ragers do, especially since NTR logic tend to be so silly that its hard to take them seriously anyways. In fact, I laugh at most NTR but still have no problems getting hard to the cuckolding. More serious and relatively realistic stories like Thug Hero Party, and presumably this, can still be heart-wrenching but the appeal of NTR is not dependent things being on that level, at least not for most NTR fans. Like I said, as much of an NTR fan as I am, I get erotically turned off if the NTR is too gut-wrenching, though I can still enjoy it for the story. But some people do get turned on by that so good for them, I don't think it could matter less to them that YOU get turned off by it.

Its not that I can only get turned on NTR and nothing else, its that I get turned off by wish-fulfillment and get disgusted by shameless, self-centered, hypocritical harem.

You are not alone in that, i too enjoy it for the sadistic enjoyment!!! And while i like the silly hentai plot from time to time it does get tiresome unless we play something heavy like this.
