Ofcourse it had to be the absolute worst of the worst warehouse! Yet... Rikke would hear something most curious indeed. Seemed the bunch had plans that certainly aligned with the rogues own! The rogue licked her lips subtly in clear delight, as quickly a plan formed up in her mind. It was once again time to test her stealth skills, as the group would incidentally act as her guide towards wherever Jerichos cache lied!

Rikke would linger in the bra for a while, up to until the bunch would stand and leave! Once they did so, the rogue would linger for just a moment, before heading off in pursuit to follow them from the shadows! Albeit the thought of working together did cross the heroines mind, looking at their appearance, the bar they were in and their little chats... It was unlikely they'd accept her aid, or potentially even more likely the bunch would attempt to use the rogues 'aid'... in some shadowy out of sight corner, far away from their goal.

With their goal in mind the men settled down for a long night. The town bell chimed 11 times as their conversation waned. Nearby Rikke heard a slight cough echo near her. Turning her head she saw the barkeep glowering at her. "Well..... miss...buy or leave. I do not have time for wasteful seats." It seemed the rest of the men at the bar where nursing their own drinks leaving Rikke the sole focus of the man's attention. She was about to offer something but was saved by the older woman she had met in the first time. She was a slight mess but sat and began to pretty herself up again. "Mike that fool in the back says he's not gonna pay." The bar keep grunted and reached under the bar and grabbed a well worn club. stained with old splotches of blood and headed to the back. Still Rikke had an hour to kill and well the barkeep didn't seem like he was playing around.

"W-why my dear sir. I---" thankfully the rogue didn't even need to finish her attempted bluff and hopefully slip the Barkeeps ire... one of the girls incidentally covered her for now! Rikke sighed with relief, only to tense up and pale as she saw the well-worn bat! A mix of brushes, bends and even some very unfortunate coloring all complimented the insciption on it reading 'The Tab'... She REALLY needed to make srue she had enough even for a simbolic drink!

Rikke quickly rushed closer to the chalkboard and looked over the prices, hoping she could buy just about any sort of drink! How much longer were her tickets to the warehouse going to linger here! Besides... albeit the barkeep was the most vocal, with all the undressing gazes the rogue felt herself run over by now she pretty much felt naked as is!

Thankfully all the drinks seemed reasonably priced with common ale being a single coin. At least one should not hurt and would stay the barkeeps wrath. As if to accent her thoughts she heard cry of pain from the back rooms. A moment later a half naked man came running out holding his left arm. The bar keep chased after at a steady pace chasing the man out. Grunting as the tarnished bell chimed he turned back to the bar, Immediately he turned to Rikke. "Your order?"

After resolving her issue with the barkeep she found the men at the table sitting for awhile longer before silently heading out. Rikke would wait a moment almost regretting leaving her drink. It was rather good despite the tavern it was poured in, and her mug was clean. Still her targets had enough of a lead now. Heading out herself she found them taking to shadows but direct path. None of them looked backed to see if they where followed and eventually they came to a rather dilapidated warehouse cast in dark with only a single light burning above the door.

Then again... maybe the rogue could just slip by without having had to pay for a drink, just off her wonderful and ever-effective char---- only sudden loud cry to echo out as the barkeep came back, some poor sod in-hand moments before he literally flung him across the whole bar and out the door! The sight giving the whole bar pause as everyone seemed to have turned pale at the display of overwhelimg power and control, before durig the silence the barkeep returned to his post... sighed deeply and opened his eyes staring directly at Rikke! "ONE ALE!" Rikke would instantly order a drink... w-well she was sorta thirsty anyway!

Surprisingly for a place like this, the ale proved to be... of very high quality? No doubt the bars location at the docks meant it had quite the array and selection of various drinks either looted or traded by various ships that passed by! Infact, the rogue may have ordered another one if she had not seen her targets move out! A sly smile appearing on the rogues face, she'd not linger long and head off in pursuit shadowing... far enough to be safe, but not far enough to be unable to hear their exchanges!

It wouldn't be long until finally they stopped near one of the warehouses, its number hidden by the dark of night and supremely limited lighting all around. This had to be it! Rikke would smile to herself once again, observing what the group was going to do next.

The group of men paused a moment checking the streets before dashing across ignoring the door. and heading for the side. Rikke soon followed and found the trio near a small side door one bent over a lock. Rikke however saw a stack of boxes leading up to a window too small for the men to go through but for Rikke it could prove a tempting entry. As she was time worked against the men as Rikke could tell that some guards at least patrolled the building. No doubt they would not be the honest city guard she had met so far. The wind offered no hint either, only dead air filled this place for the moment. Wait or risk the boxes.... what would she do.

Rikke would only shake her head at the clearly sloppy lockpicking skills... honestly and these guys thought of themselves as pros? The girl would duck back behind cover and slyly look around, well... she had found the warehouse, effectively the trios part was mostly done. Now how to get inside? She could wait and use their way, yet as the girl looked around an alternative revealed itself 'Ooh?'

For the rogue there was no real question! Afterall, from here on out the trio were contenders for her loot! Slipping aside the girl looked to the boxes and taking a step back, quickly picked up speed to rush along them and hopefully catch onto the small window! Moments later pulling herself inside!

Rikke's ascent up the boxes went well. All of them where in good condition some even smelling of pine as if they had been just made. The window was also easy. No lock barred entry, no doubt none one thinking that it would be used to enter the warehouse. Sadly however the inner part of the building was completely dark. Hardly any light shown from the pitiful lamps from outside. And what did make it threw cast bizarre shadows. Still Rikke was no greeny rogue on he first heist. Using her other senses Rikke heard a faint humm from some distance object. Though with the boxes about it caused strange echo's. The air smelled off almost like a stable. It was very heavy with the scent of hay. Sadly thats all she could make out for the moment. The area around her was cast in pale moonlight revealing a small pyramid of boxes she could use to get down from her perch at the window.

Bingo! With a little bit of wiggle and a bit of effort, she was in!-- Yet the moment the girl entered she'd very quickly realise how little actual lighting this place had and some semblance of how large it was! Darn it! How did she forget to bring a torch or something to light the area up a bit! Honestly she hoped that the place would have some large sky-light or more windows yet it appeared she'd not be graced by any such luck....

'Right...' gods its been a long while since she actually did this! Hopefully the rogues thievery skills had not gone entirely rusty! The girl would think over her place of entry and the trio would enter if they eventually manage to crack the lock just to keep in mind, before fully focusing on whatever of the warehouse she could make out. Right... so~ What exactly was she looking for?! Knowing rich snobs, they'd definedly not keep their shipments among the other trade goods. Meaning the girls first task was to find the more locked-down area of the warehouse, one away from the main bulk!

Hopefully whatever few beams of moonlight came in were enough, yet if not... well the rogue could always put her athletic skills to use and open a few more windows to illuminate the area!

Opening some more windows would help a little but not enough to make a serious dent in the darkness. Still trusting to her ever famous or infamous luck Rikke made her decent. The further she got down the darker it got but the more her eyes adjusted. While it wasn't her night vision of the past it did allowed her to at leas make out the towering shapes of boxes about her. A dull click further to her right drew her attention as the trio made their own entry their tourch lighting up the area about them after they closed the door. At least for that Rikke would know their location in this mess of freight.

Some part of the rogue hoped that the trio would indeed be foiled by the door, though with their entry and especially their---- torches? Oh... That gave her an idea! Searching for the correct box AND avoiding those three, especially if they were smart enough to look for the high-value section of the warehouse as well, could quickly grow troublesome. However~ The trio could be put to use! The rogue would once again silently move along the boxes and use the darkness to her benefit!

Heading to a good vantage point, Rikke would attempt to look over the trios movements and await a chance to pounce! 'There's gonna be only be one successful Thief this night, boys.' she'd snicker to herself as she'd begin to stalk them!

Rolls
Rikke Stealth vs Perception 11 vs 4, 8, 8
??? stealth vs Perception 5 vs 6(Rikke), 8, 8, 4

It would be easy even by staying on the exposed top of crates Rikke was near invisible in the darkness . The amateurs however could be seen moving about in the dark with their bright torch. The trio must be either stupid or confident not have brought a shuddered lantern. Still as they picked their way around they stuck together only having the one light source. Picking them off one by one might no be as easy as she thought. After following them around for a bit Rikke caught a slight metal glint as something reflected the torch light. Two of the bandits saw it as well and took their obvious companion with them. The three moved up and Rikke followed. What they came across was a strange looking contraption of hoses and tubes. The glinting metal was a polished bronze and the faint sound of gears could be heard rumbling from it.

Rikke would shadow the bunch as she maneuvered the shadows, the darkness absolutely hiding the girl from sight! Yet as hidden as she was, the trio just never quite gave her the chance to strike! That was up until "Oi! Over here!" one of the trio called out?! Finally perhaps they'd all focus in one direction! Rikke bit down on her lower lip in absolute joyous mischief as she moved in and just as the girl was about to strike to the most back thief--- 'eh?' she too found herself mesmerized seeing the strange device.

Made of bronze and clinging, rumbling out subtly Rikke would absolutely pause her attack seemingly almost within range, as she peered out from behind one of trio curiously. What WAS that this thing? Or perhaps the better question was why was it here and active. Was it doing something...? In the middle of a warehouse?! Yet the first touch Rikke would allow the bandits, before she'd shake her awe off and potentially refocus on her 'vigilante justice' ambush!

Rikke watched as the one with the torched moved up to inspect the bronze contraption. Only when the torch light got closer did more details emerge. The object was square in shape and had bindings on each face. "Oh looks like Lord Jericho has some sick fantasies boys." Smirking the bandit with the torch wold kick the machine. "Lets go find the loot." Turning back Rikke had to duck away to hid and let them pass when she heard a startled yelp and a shout of "WHAT THE FUCK!" The light emanating from the bandits suddenly dropped and went out casting the room in complete darkness. Rikke had a vague sense of two figures rushing past her as the one who held the torch before pleaded. "NO HELP DON"T LEAVMUREHSDLKJFGOPH" Rikke waited a moment but no noise echoed out besides the rumbling of the machine which seemed to increase

Try as she might Rikke just flatout couldn't perceive the devices purpose, seemed the thieves were equally as stumped giving their best guess towards some sort of strange... fantasy fullfillment device? The comment only spurring a inquisitive rise of the rogues eyebrow, at just what the man possibly could've suspected... Yet just as everything seemed to steer away from the device and back to normal. Things escalated in a rather grandiose and frightning manner!

Rikke would relax just like the trio, only for the girl to note they were turning around?! 'Crap!' the rogue had moved in for the kill meaning, she was straight in their path albeit veiled in the dark! Thinking fast, Rikke ducked behind a chest and remained silent as she heard their footsteps pass her by--- only for a loud cry out to utterly tear the warehouses and the cat 'n mouse game asunder?! A goosebump rushed up the rogues body as suddenly the singular bright light from the torch went to the ground basking the warehouse in darkness, follower by a blood-chilling howl and cry!

At this point the rogues face had certain turned a few shades more pale as she remained seated behind the box in the darkness, not daring to move as her eyes adjusted... 'W-What was that?' even if the rogue could suspect whatever happened was related to the device.. yet it was unclear what the device had done. That thought alone was absolutely chilling! Still... if the silence lingered the girl would finally rise her head above the chest and look towards the direction of the device and where the trio had went.

Rikke sat in her hiding place the moment of fright passing. Once she had control of herself and her eyes adjusted to the dark she could hear two people bumbling around in the dark. It seemed two of the thieves had got separated and where no lost in the warehouse. What about the third? Looking back to the device Rikke could make out the faint embers still on the torch, but could see nothing of the machine. Focusing that way for a moment Rkke could hear the tearing of cloth and rythmic VUMMPH VUMMPH VUMMPH. That was a new noise from the machine for sure. Turning her head in the direction the others went she froze as the hairs on the back of her neck went stiff. Creeping along the boxes was a metal tendril of some kind. The noise of it scrapping along the wooden boxes almost drowned by the machine. Faint moonlight glinted of its segmented metal arm. It was close almost too close any wrong movement from Rikke or surprise action would have both of them collide.

Goosebumps rushed up Rikkes body! W-what was that strange tearing noise? What even was that other shifted mechnaical tone as well?!It sounded all too heavy and echoed out all too dangerously close, exactly from where the device was now in absolutely darkness! Perhaps the other duo of thieves had the right idea as they seemed to absolutely bolt right on away and likely in search of the exit! Once again the rogues face shifted to another shade whiter, just thinking of what horrid things were out of sight--- 'Aaaigh!' the girl almost leaped up a good few feet upwards in fright as she heard something bump into the box she was hiding behind!

The girl quickly covered her mouth as she shivered only to see some... a metalic tendril... perhaps a metalic technological tongue or sensor keen to find whoever else was nearby! The rogue would freeze up as she'd shuffle backwards with adorable witde eyes, both of her hands on her mouth as if not to let out a single eep!

The tendril stopped a moment and moved up the box wiggling as if searching for something. All the while the VUMMPH of the machine kept going. Rikke stood and waited her hiding spot was good but it also left her trapped if the tendril got any closer it would be over. As it inched closer a sudden shout and crash seemed to draw its attention away as it whipped back and out of sight the sound of breaking boxes and metal scrapping echoing its passage.

Rikkes eyes widened as her body tensed up more and more with the sensting tendril moving closer---- only for a distant crash to seemingly distract it. Quickly followed echoes of... of... OH GOD THAT BOX THING WAS MOVING?! The girl had to pause and shake off her fright, right... it was just a machine and clearly it was reacting to sound and feel more than anything. Hopefully the rogue could dodge it via sight! Although the option to just bolt out and leave was there, she was not a girl to leave until the job was done!

Herself refocused the rogue would pick up the torch and sigh as she was lacking any real means to reignite it. Pausing briefly the girl quickly remembered that the poor soul that was grabbed by the machine first - was the torchbearer! He surely had the tinder or means to reignite the light! Wincing subtly the rogue would slowly turn... towards where he was dragged off. P-perhaps... she could find it on whatever remained of him? The girl gulped grimly and silently approached the spot where the machine used to be....
