While Deva understood a bit about the power that the angel had, it seemed that Narcissus was too busy basking in his own victory to care about what kinds of powers that Deva had at the moment. Instead he was... actually checking his hair, and he had removed one of his gloves to check if he had broken a nail during the little fighting that he did. Now that he had the victory in the bag, and now that the angel was too distracted to really talk, he decided that it was the perfect opportunity to assess just how much work he would have to do to bring himself back to true perfection. In his mind, it was never too early to worry about his appearance, and there was no immediate threat that he could see, so really he was barely even paying attention to how well Valerie was doing, just looking up every now and then to make sure that things were all going according to plan.

Narcissus didn't really know just how far Deva's submission went, or what she could gain from it, but Valerie understood the lengths of it at the very least. The werewolf didn't know that Deva found some kind of strength in it, but she at least understood just how much Deva wanted to submit. Hell, even if Valerie had never met the angel before, she KNEW right now that Deva wanted to submit. The wolf could actually smell it on her, taking yet another long sniff of Deva, this time taking in the submission along with the arousal, savoring every little bit of it. She had already wanted to take Deva so much before, and now that she knew just how submissive the angel was, now that she could actually smell it on her, the wolf somehow found herself growing even MORE excited at the idea of dragging Deva home with her and ravishing her day in and day out. A thought that would mingle with all the other fantasies that were already swimming in Deva's head, she would be Valerie's Bitch... but that wasn't a bad thing. She would be cared for, protected, treasured, valued above everything else, and she'd serve her purpose of pleasuring her Alpha whenever the werewolf desired it... It would seem like the perfect life as she thought about it, especially now that she had gotten a taste of that wonderful cum, that delicious seed that she would get to taste again and again and again, whenever the Alpha granted her that wonderful privilege. Deva was Valerie's bitch, only being there to mate with and pleasure her Alpha... and yet at the same time she could tell that her Alpha would be so wonderful as to treasure her as well, fucking and rutting like a wild animal, and yet still taking care of her like a beloved member of her pack. She'd be able to feel this perverted lust all the time, and yet she'd be cared for properly, maybe even pampered occasionally so long as she was a good bitch and understood that her place was to submit to her Alpha, to obey her and pleasure her whenever Valerie wished her to.

Deva was even more clever than either Valerie or Narcissus had given her credit for, which was nothing new really. But they hadn't expected her to find a line of thinking that would allow her to remain angry at Narcissus while still submitting to the werewolf. Her line of thinking would actually be encouraged by the thick musk in the air and the delicious taste of wolf-cock in her mouth. Anyone that dared to insult her Alpha was wrong, her Alpha was strong, beautiful, powerful, dominant, and was the only one that deserved to lead. Anyone that dared to insult her were wrong, as the Alpha had already proven their dominance, their strength, and had proven that they deserved respect from those around them, and such blatant disrespect from the self absorbed angel would light a spark of anger in the primal part of Deva's brain. But no matter how she felt about Narcissus, no matter who disrespected the Alpha, that all came second to the Alpha's needs. If the Alpha wanted her cock sucked, then that was the first thing that a Bitch like Deva was meant to worry about. Though, such a duty wouldn't exactly be dull, as every time she ran her tongue along the length of Valerie's shaft, she'd feel a sense of something that was almost like clarity. That was where she belonged in the world, that was her purpose, and that was what made her happy, sucking off her Alpha like a good Bitch. For her part, Valerie would seem a bit more lucid as she dominated Deva, seeming even more confident in her position, her already dominating and powerful aura seeming just a bit stronger, the werewolf looking just a bit more impressive as she grew even more confident, holding onto Deva and gripping the back of her head to keep her in that rhythm she had started, moaning and growling some more, holding Deva to ensure that no matter what happened she wouldn't stop sucking until Valerie wanted her to stop. Once the angel was on all fours, looking up at Valerie would make the werewolf seem even larger, standing tall above the angel, looking even more impressive from that angle, from her proper place, bent over and presented to her Alpha. But then right before she thrust into Deva's inviting sex, an instinct in Valerie made her suddenly feel as though she was in some kind of danger, like something was about to happen and she really didn't want to be a part of it.

Then she was suddenly knocked back, standing herself up almost immediately, being knocked away by a cascade of shadows not being enough to keep Valerie down. She'd stand up and growl at Deva, taking a stance that showed she was ready to fight if the angel was going to keep trying to fight back against this. "Oh the little bitch still has some fight in her? Damn... I had thought that I'd be able to get away with not getting my hands any more dirty... But it seems the fucking mutt was more useless than I thought... Couldn't even break you properly... what a fucking disgrace... Oh are you mad about that too? Mad that I'm insulting a useless animal? Maybe if she didn't fail at every single turn, I wouldn't have to insult her so much. But she can't enslave you as a human, she can't stop me in a fight, and even when we give her ALL THE BLOODY TOOLS IN THE WORLD SHE STILL FUCKING FAILS!" He'd shout, quite used to belittling those underneath him, and being extremely intolerant of anything that he considered to be a 'failure'. Apparently the sudden movement had caught Narcissus' attention, and he was extremely upset as he had just started grooming himself a little now that he thought he wouldn't have to fight, and all that work would be ruined all over again because he'd have to face Deva.

"Foulness this, and evil that. What is it with everyone calling me evil just because I understand the principles of beauty? I know that I'm so much more magnificent than anyone else, but is everyone so jealous that they decide the only course of option is to insult me and call me evil. All just because I am beautiful... truly it is a shame that people are so petty." He would lament for a few moments, blaming the rest of the world for his poor treatment rather than looking inward to the things that he was doing. Though, considering that he thought himself perfect, blaming others for the problems he caused wasn't exactly surprising. "Is this the extent of my power? Oh I don't know, how about you find out?" He would taunt, cracking his neck, preparing himself to get right back into a fight and mess up his very carefully crafted appearance. His eyes would widen just a bit as Deva showed off the extent of her power, surprised that she still had so much that he hadn't seen, and while he expected her to have some more powers hidden, he didn't think that she would have this much power still left waiting for him. Serp and those gathered would look away immediately, quite a few of them terrified at this development, but Serp just wanting to focus on keeping things safe, still trying to direct the others and get them to focus. The only one that seemed unaffected, the only one that didn't look even the slightest bit scared or worried, would be Valerie, who was instead standing tall, still seeming confident, ready to stand against Deva even knowing how much stronger the angel had just become.

Valerie stood proud, looking at how strong Deva was and only seeming even more excited at the prospect of this kind of challenge. Sure, even with her animal strength she was scared, Deva could definitely win if they fought right now, but that didn't mean she was going to show it, and it certainly didn't mean that she was going to easily back down from this challenge. That was part of her personality even before she had become a wolf, and now that she was one, she had to answer these kinds of challenges. So those two parts of her only seemed to compliment each other, as both parts of her would stand tall in the face of this kind of danger. "Oh shit! What the Hell?!" Narcissus would shout as the blade suddenly came up to cut into him, unable to react in time to a strike that literally came out of his own shadow. Then he was even more confused when the blade hadn't done anything to him, finding that to actually be more concerning than if it had simple cut into him, as that meant the blade had done SOMETHING. "Oh you will pay for that... If you dare to harm my proper beauty then I will tear you limb from limb..." The angel would shout, even the thought of his beauty being marred making him enraged.

"So you 'prove your worth' by attacking your Alpha's Owner? What on earth does that accomplish? Honestly I doubt that your Alpha would approve of such an insult as to not listen to her... Bah... PATHETIC!" He would say angrily, the holy energy around him seeming to surge just a bit with every word, the angel showing quite a bit of power despite how little he wanted to fight. Meanwhile, her Alpha would seem extremely confused as the Shadow Energy, looking at her hands and sniffing a bit, trying to figure out what was going on. But then she felt a tongue on her cock, her cock throbbing excitedly as the wolf moaned, shuddering a bit, the shadow energy forgotten as she felt a skilled tongue pleasuring her. She could already imagine it, standing tall and proud, keeping her inner beast under control, tempted day in and day out by her slave, her bitch just waiting there for her... It'd be so easy... so easy to just bend her over and rut like a wild animal... but she had to keep it in control, had to make sure that the beast didn't ccome out... but at some point there was nothing she could do... After so long she would eventually wildly grab her bitch, bending her over and taking her at a moment's notice... indulging in the beast deep inside of her, unable to hold it back forever. The wolf would moan loudly, but wouldn't do anything to stop Deva, as the angel was submitting, pleasuring her, empowering her, she couldn't see anything wrong with any of that. Then she felt a kiss on her ass, wanting to take Deva as her bitch, but do it properly on her own terms. Once she felt the angel kissing her bottom, Deva would feel a hand on top of her head, petting her approvingly, encouraging her submission just a bit as she dealt with the new fantasies that had been conjured in her head. Then Deva reminded Valerie why she had become so angry, she had heard that Deva had murdered Neith, and that anger had helped them overwhelm her completely... but now she would lean in, bring her face right up to Deva's neck, a dangerous spot to be in with a wolf if you didn't trust them, but Valerie was doing it as another show of dominance, while at the same time checking what the angel was saying. Then she saw the spiders, sniffing them just a little bit and looking really confused now, there was no way Deva would have something like that unless Neith was alive, the smell was Neith, the spiders were her children, she could tell... and she was so wrapped up in her thought about that, she'd not even notice that she was hit by that weapon as well, just thinking about what this all meant.

The wolf wouldn't really understand what it was that Deva was saying, only knowing what she wanted, though when the command came the wolf would suddenly stop and look, slightly more aware once again. Though this time it wouldn't fade like the last few moments had, while there was still a primal look in her eyes, she seemed more like herself and less like an attack dog. "This again?! For Fuck's SAKE! FUCKING ATTACK HER ALREADY! STOP JUST LETTING HER DO THIS SHIT AND FIGHT HER!" To which Valerie would turn to look at him, her eyes narrowing a bit, a low and angry growl escaping her as she looked at him. "No... NO! Never!" Which would just make Narcissus even more angry, especially now that he understood the power that she had with that weapon. And then it happened... Narcissus couldn't see himself, looking down at his hands, his own beautiful hands and he couldn't see them properly... He couldn't see himself... He couldn't see himself... HE COULDN'T SEE HIMSELF. "You... YOU FUCKING BITCH! I'M GOING TO FUCKING MURDER YOU! I'M GOING TO TEAR YOUR THROAT OUT AND DANCE ON YOUR FUCKING GRAVE! YOU'LL FUCKING PAY... OH YOU'LL PAY... ENOUGH OF THIS... IF I CAN'T SEE MYSELF.... THEN I DON'T MIND GETTING MYSELF FUCKING DIRTY! WON'T EVEN HAVE TO GET BLOOD OUT OF MY CLOTHES THEN!" He'd scream, sounding even more crazed and manic than before, pure rage filling his voice now that the only thing that he truly cared about was gone. And this time he would see the blade coming, and considering that he had nothing to distract him anymore, he'd easily notice it, moving out of the way with his own incredible speed, rage and insanity growing in his face now that he couldn't see himself. "OH I'LL 'HIT' YOU! I'LL FUCKING RUN YOU THROUGH AND BURN YOU DOWN! Do you KNOW what I was called before the angels cast me OUT in their JeaLouSY?! I was 'God's Flame'... BEFORE THAT UPSTART URIEL STOLE IT FROM ME!" He'd scream, flying up higher and higher now, glowing brighter and brighter with his Holy Energy. "I lost so much power... But with the power that 'Mistress' can bestow... Ohohoho... I can RETURN THAT POWER WHICH IS MINE!" Then he smirked, and insane and twisted smirk as he looked down on the town around him... glowing brighter and brighter... "ASCEND!" He'd scream, an explosion of pure white light emanating from him, brightness rivaling the sun... making it impossible to see Narcissus for a few moments... Before the light would fade and Deva would be able to see him... and he looked... well... quite different from before.

His wings were far larger than they had been before, and now golden armor encased his form, a red cloak floating behind him as he looked down on her, and in his hands was a gigantic blade that looked to be made of pure power, the angel now becoming what looked like a true Archangel. "I hated this form.... I COULDN'T SEE MYSELF WHEN I WAS IN IT! BUT I GUESS THAT'S NOT A PROBLEM NOW!" He'd shout, his voice booming through the plain, still sounding just as enraged and insane as before. It would be hard to get a read on his power now though, as the Holy Energy was still built up in him, but it no longer seemed like he had reached the full amount of energy he could handle, not with a form like that. "Oh but you're RIGHT! PERHAPS I SHOULD BRING SOME BACK UP! PREPARE FOR DEATH!" He'd slash his sword through nothing, a rift in dimensions seeming to open up where he cut, and

In direct opposition to Narcissus' angelic form, this woman seemed to radiate pure, unadulterated demonic energy. Her eyes were pure black aside from a glowing green iris, and her clothing, while quite revealing, had a blood red look to it with green glowing lines running through it. And when she spoke, it sounded like multiple different voices talking at once, all sounding demonic in some way... "You called? Pfah... You know I HATE your angel form... Reminds me too much of the ones I swore vengeance on..." "WHERE IS THE BOSS?! I WANT ALL HERE TO SUFFER! BRING THE FIRST!" "Really? Are you that dense? She's trying to LURE the Boss here... I thought you'd be able to tell... She's not coming until we have this battle won, especially since we'll be more than enough to handle this, then she says everyone here is going to die. Too many witnesses to brainwash and not enough time, death is our only choice. So don't you worry your pretty little head about it, EVERYONE here is going to suffer... I'm just glad I get in on it before you had all the fun. Couldn't let you get all the murder to yourself after all. Let's end this one already, as then the Boss says she'll help us clean up the rest of the insects here." The woman would then slowly float to the ground, a dark and sadistic smirk on her face. While Narcissus was in a blind rage of violence, this one seemed far more sadistic about it, as though she was taking every second to enjoy the pain that she wanted to inflict. Then just as suddenly she'd give Deva a low bow, standing back up quickly. "Greetings, Deva... I was worried that I wouldn't be the one to face you. I have many names where I come from... but you may simply call me Lucifer... Or 'Please no, don't kill me!', people tend to call me either. Anyway... I am the 3rd ranked among these agents your facing, and the... I suppose you'd call it the 'strategist' of this rebellion. I suggest you surrender now if you wish to keep your life. After all, we can ensure that a FEW people here live..." She would offer, acting as though she were being the kind one now, a very dangerous smirk on her lips, one that made the hair on the back of Valerie's neck stand up. If Deva was paying attention, she'd see a hand reaching out of Serp's shadow and grabbing his ankle, trying to yank him down, making the man fire a blast of magic at that hand.

Mortema rose out of the shadows, purposely getting out of them as fast as possible as she could tell that Deva currently had control of them, and she'd stare daggers into the Serpent, the two of them starting to fight, her shooting bolts of magic as well as fighting with dark swords, clearly trying to take Serp's life with the way that she was fighting. "There, dear Narcissus... I didn't come alone... I'm not some sort of fool. Now... Let's see if we can fix this..." Lucifer would start calmly walking forward, evil intent in her eyes as she moved towards Deva, only to have Valerie charge at the demon, trying to land a strike, to which the demon would dodge and stare at Valerie with disdain, slamming her fist into the wolf's gut and preparing for another shot when Valerie would suddenly retaliate, slashing at the demon, putting a cut on her cheek that would bleed black. Though Deva might have problems paying attention to that, as Narcissus was now divebombing her, flaming sword in hand as he looked ready to skewer Deva if he got the chance...

It seemed that the entire Rebellion was here EXCEPT the First, and these ones seemed to plan on bringing the First, but only once they had one, or if they were truly desperate. But now Narcissus and Lucifer both thought that they had the advantage in this one, confident once more, as one was currently too enraged to fear, and the other didn't think that Deva would be powerful enough to handle the both of them, and yet none of them had even noticed that there was another summon lurking about, all of them focusing just on those that they currently saw.

Deva, while quite enjoying them, of course, countered Valeries fantasies of dragging her off and keeping herself with a submissive fantasy and demand, for a mistress so powerful that she was a primal beast, always lusting, hungering, but keeping herself in control, actually leaving her slave yearning just as she used her force of personality to hold back her own yearning, until the beast just became too strong to hold back anymore and it was time to fully, overwhelmingly enjoy her bitch...
A slave must yearn to pleasure, as must the mistress, but both must rise above their needs, like Deva did just now, to display her true beauty and strength. Only in denying ones own lusts could they be fully unleashed.. just as it was Deva's conviction that only in denying ones own power, could true power be achieved and, her sealing magic undone spoke for that.
Deva countered her urges to submit by not fighting them at all, but rather elevating them to a new height, the fantasies of being rutted by a mere beast being overwhelmed by the image of a mighty, dark, amazonian warrior, hints of feralness still remaining upon her in long, dark hair and pronounced canines, but her true bestial glory sealed away until the need, the moment to unleash it had become too overwhelmingly close to bear. Until the two lovers couldn't bear being anything but alpha and bitch to serve the same as desired..

It was ironic perhaps, that, had Narcissus simply kept quiet and stepped back he might have well triumphed over Deva whose strong will had limits when faced with instinct and slave conditioning together, But whenever pure, primal submission threatened to sweep her away, a blade-like wall of calm, controlled anger kept it in check. Perhaps it was his self-absorption, or perhaps an underestimation of Deva's enjoyment in submission that stopped him from seeing just how dangerous insulting a mistress before one of her slaves could be.
Of course, Deva eagerly observed her duties as bitch when fully taken by the musk, frankly, if there was a way to please her alpha whilest the same was fighting another.. now there was a fantasy for another time..
It had been easy to let go, easy to infuse Valerie with traces of her dark aura.. well, not exactly easy, it took years to control an element to the point of being able to bestow its power upon another, without harming them or letting that power run amok in them as Isa would one day come to tell, but Deva was helped by the fact that Valerie -was- strong, was a dominant alpha... she had to focus for a moment to prevent her thoughts from wandering back into that happy submissive valley.. and then, simply let them, leaning forward and placing another subservient kiss upon her alphas shaft, indulging her desires rather than fighting them, looking up at mistress Valerie with eager devotion... ther was no doubt she had the werewolfs best intentions at heart.. that she understood her place.
Deva smirked ever so slightly at Narcissus. "Oh you misunderstand. Valerie didn't break me. Broken slaves are useless. Bend to her superior will just by being close to her scent and imposing, majestic presence alone, now, that is another thing." The further insults spoken by him seemed to only intensify the darkness cascading around Deva, putting in her state beyond caring.. for this level of power there would be a price to pay, as darkness was never an element she was any good with before it was granted to her. Somehow, she felt confident that, even with only a third of her power, the dark-wolf Valerie could make better use of it. Still, the angels ego, if nothing else, was impressive. Even mid-range demons like the average Succubus or Vrock would have backed off by now, second guessed, looked at their commanding Balor, Marilith or Lilitu generals by now, who in turn would have heavily weighted the anger of their demon-prince masters against being torn apart by the avenging angel of light and darkness alike.. Deva knew, because she had seen it.

That Valerie was not afraid and stood tall meanwhile filled her with a reaffirmed, submissive pride and respect. One day, without interferances or threats, she'd battle the true Valerie, without being weakened or interferances... and she'd lose.. and it would be wonderful. But not now, not today, she did not want Valerie to lose her.. well, her virginity(if only in a very specific sense as the angel was certain many had orally serviced the amazoness in the past) as an attack dog of Narcissus.
"Don't worry Narcissus. We are beyond the point of anger were I'd wish to marr your beauty. I am not that petty." Deva mused. Of course.. petty could have different meanings too, that most would not assume in this context.
"My alpha never told me to not attack you. Perhaps this is because if you hadn't sealed away her reasoning to usher such commands, she'd never call someone like you master, shall we see about that?" Deva countered Narcissus complaint about her attack.
... while not even minding being exposed, so very subserviantly, below Valerie, nuzzling into the strong hand, pondering kissing it too, but simply giving it a brief, lewd lick if given the opportunity, adding in a submissive coo for good measure, just a tiny bit emberassed at her utterly subservient position whilest challenging Narcissus.
It would be a lie to claim that Deva had arranged to be collared by Neith to facilitate this moment. Or that she had arranged for Narcissus to engulf himself in holy energy, while infusing his wolf 'pet' with an opposing element, to instill a primal antagonism in the wolf.. but at the same time, it was as if Deva could carefully manipulate all the circumstances to suit her needs. That, more than anything, was why the angel had once been feared by evildoers, and worshipped by those that opposed them until she ascended to become a godess of hope. Because somehow, she made use of the opponents greatest weapons, as if it was her personal delight and challenge to turn their strengths against them.

Deva smirked ever so slightly as, just as expected, Narcissus failed to listen, failed to simply obey the condition placed upon Valerie to make his commands work, while losing himself in rage. "Careful now. If you lose yourself in rage all that carefully maintained defense of yours will become full of holes. if it helps, I felt the same anger each time you insulted my alpha, though, rather than letting it overwhelm me, as it threatened to almost each time, I used it to steel my mind against the submission I craved.. I -crave-.. until the time is right." She seemed uncaring of his threat, indeed, facing the angel, darkness cascading along her skin, yet light emanating from the edge of her Guisarme ever so slightly, giving it a dangerously sharp look.
"Ahahahha.aha..ahahahhaa!" Deva laughed out suddenly, genuinly, at Narcissus threat. "The third mightiest of all archangels and arguably the one with the greatest combat power, ranked only below Zaphkiel the Watcher and Sealtiel the Defender. Granted, in my world, we called him not Uriel, but Raziel, The Crusader, but you're a damned fool. In trying to intimidate me, you now told me roughly what to expect." Granted, fighting a full on arch-angel exemplar and part of the Hebdomad would be incredibly dangerous and even painful to her as she was right now,.. if the same was at the height of their strength. But this was not the iridiscent heaven and there were not thousands of sword-archons and millions of devout crusaders souls empowering this one. All he was, all he had.. was his own power.
Deva was not afraid. Well. Until the angel mentioned he could restore himself to that level of power by substituting the reality bending. She looked up, pushing her guisarme into the ground, folding her hands in preparation -just in case it was dangerous- She just wondered if the angel realized what mighty a target for combat he made himself look for to the darknesss enhanced wolf.
However, as soon as she saw Narcissus summon a female with a powerful demonic aura...from a shadow behind Valerie appeared out a little slimey plushie.

"Fascinating. Greetings, lady Lucifer. I thought it was just a random guess, that the third ranked was the leader, in order to make Narcissus summon the first, but to think that the rebellion actually reached that far." She shook her head. "You know, the equivalent to you in my world would be someone I'd be afraid to face. If you are merely rank 3, why, I dread to think who rank one and two could possibly be. Then again, call it excess caution if you want, but the fact that the first is refusing to appear could also hint that, just a small part of her, is afraid to risk facing me.

But just judging by your speech pattern, you are likely too smart to give me any subtle hints about them if I try to tickle them out. Anyway. by inverting what you said, if I do or don't surrender, either way, most people here, will die. I'd request you withdraw and reconsider your morale but something tells me you find that more amusing than anything else.
Well well well. Allow me to take in the other newcomer, please, something is hiding in -my- shadows, I can feel it... ah, as expected."
She glanced over to Mortema. .. it seemed Serp had her covered, for the moment. A hand wandered out from a shadow, putting a second plushie in a far away corner.

Deva, of course, could not banter, nor focus all too long on her opponents, as an enraged Narcissus now rushed at her, seeming quite intent to cut her down. Her guisarme came up to block his blade it seemed, but, instead, it cut through the blade, again, leaving no damage, while Deva was pushed back by the sheer impact, crushed and pushed over the ground, with an expression bent into pain betraying a quite severe impact.. though, not as severe as it should have been. For one, the shadowy aura seemed to have at least contested Narcissus fully unleashed holy force, while..well, that holy sword should have skewered her, yet, it left only a shallow cut on her armor and a bloody line on her skin. Deva smirked and informed. "One thing I forgot to tell you is that Ius Victoria's power is not limited to people. I placed a condition upon your sword just before it hit me..." And as she said that, his swords flames slowly extinguished, a third plushie peeking out of a shadowy corner. "As long as this sword is used with anger.. it can never again shed it's holy flames. Luckily I know how Razi.. Uriel operates, considering the charge enhanced impact of your attack, you'll need a half dozen normal strikes to kill me, presuming I don't defend myself at all, which means...
Well, you didn't bring the first. But.. you three will do. EVERYONE RUN! GET AWAY FROM THEM!"
Deva shouted out, raising one hand, grabbing Mortema(who was, after all, a being of pure darkness) with it through the shadows, rather than tending to her wounds or dealing with Narcissus, tossing the monstergirl-progenitor with a supreme effort of will closer to the centre of the lands in between, while at the same time, with an actual expression of strain and effort, darkness engulfed Valerie, suddenly pulling her back out of the fight, and besides Serp, out of Isa's shadow (just in case Serp felt jumpy with his shadow now) Luckily, her new animal instincts would warn her.. once more, a feeling that, right now, she really didn't want to get any closer to those cute plushies Deva had begun subtly setting up...

Deva, of course, was throughout all of this open to another attack from Narcissus, though if he took the opening, cutting into Deva's flesh and armor he would see the strength that came from letting oneself be hit by opponents far weaker all the time, namely.. Deva could take a beating and keep going. Rather than pay full attention to the mighty angel before him(likely to his increasing dismay), she shouted out to all three attackers:
Dear Rebellion, before you annihilate me! Allow me to say my final worlds, one short sentence to each of you! Narcissus: Beauty fades.. that is why it is beautiful. Mortema. To oppose humanity means to be defined by it. Lucifer: Within both me and Isa there are worms of the swarm, that have been linked to our senses this entire time... I never actually killed the swarm, they're just knocked out, appearing dead, soon to awaken, oh and even if you warn the first now, as powerful as she might be, she can not hope to destroy -every- aspect of the swarm on every world they are on in time, without forcing the rest of the swarm awake.. and do so unnoticed with none of you there to distract the Cloaked One. While you were moving your pieces around, you never realized you were in check-mate the moment you arrived!" Deva extended her arms and smirked. "You were right, I want to lure the first one here.. but enough powerful members of the rebellion will do just as well. You have all failed and every sucess you felt you had, I allowed you to lure you all together to this point. Granted, there is a small chance for you to still emerge victorious, which would be to manipulate the swarms memory.. but, considering their mental fortitude, for that, you need to either capture me, -alive- and quick, or have the first expand whatever reality bending power she has before even arriving to fight me, leaving her unable to face either me or the cloaked one securely." Deva explained to the strategist of the rebellion, feeling like she had an accurate assesment of the situation.. and of course, taking Deva alive ment slowing down Narcissus attack, which was what she needed. Frankly, she had lied, two, at best three of those holy empowered attack were the most she could take and still be in the fight proper..
But for now, melee-combat was not the option she chose. Darkness swirled around her, as her mind aligned the fourth little plushie. It popped out of the side of her own shadow with a slight 'bawww' noise as Deva took a step back. There was an ever so subtle shift in the air, one that neither Mortema nor Narcissus could percieve.. but perhaps one like Lucifer could.. and she would be concerned, if apt enough realizing that, even although nothing looked different, for now, they had just been partially transported to another dimension... "The spy. The mistress of darkness. The Strategist. I've outmaneuvred and warned you all, I've given you a chance, but it seems that, in order to protect the happiness and lives of countless.. you three..

Deva panted, her aura of darkness fading until it was nearly non--existant, being but a subtly shadowy outline, giving the keen observer an inkling of just how dangerous using this aura was. There stood the angel, exhausted, injured.. panting soflty after having technically fought three high ranking agents back to back, having used up so much power, she looked battered and weakened But.. somehow, even the rage-consumed narcissus felt something.. wrong, felt a terrible sense of wrongness, an inexplicable sense of foreboding as the four plushies hopped up, wobblin cutely, while Deva intonated:
"Danse Macabre: Primum actum: Excito de Automata!" Macabre dance: First act: The Puppets awakening.. For those that could translate it. And extended her arms, the four plushies beginning to grow as the same time as thin, ghostly strings appeared on each of the plushies, as well as Mortema, Lucifer and Narcissus hands, arms, legs and head, strings that lead upwards, disappearing into nothingness.
By now, the plushies had grown to about man-size their shape slowly rippling, while Deva addressed those of the lands in-between, appealing to them and Valerie. "Please.. avert your eyes everyone. Turn away, unless you believe your soul strong enough to endure living nightmares. None that have good in their hearts should have to endure this spell." She requested, while each of the plushies reformed.. one, became a simple looking angelic man, the plain image that had been Narcissus worst fear. One turned into a simple human, then shifted in apperance, mimicking Ayla.. as a human, and approaching Mortema. the third plushie shifted into an exceptionally gentle and.. holy looking angel, blonde hair, flowing white robes, a shining halo, an expression of forgiveness on her face.
The final plushie was.. different, however. It grew larger, turning into a balor, a mighty demon of hellfire, with a dark crown.
That, however, was only the beginning of the spell. Each of the three puppets grew swords and attempted to engage their targets in melee combat. However.. each of the three agents found that their movements in this combat were trying to be dictated by the strings, dodging, blocking with holy sword, or summoning a shield of darkness, not on their own accord, but just seeming to follow a script, just like the puppets did.
While the agents could deny this effect and move on their own, each attempt to do so tore at the spectral strings and inflicted pain upon them, the greater the deviation, the greater the pain. They were all puppets, lead to Deva's script, and they were made to fight these plush puppets, the demon-puppet unleashing a blast of fire that Mortema and Narcissus dodged, Lucifer, likely immune to hellfire, simply stood in, just as one would, only to be hit by a whip from the puppet, a fire-whip coiling around her legs, pulling her off her feet, with her barelly rolling, no being made to roll, away from the thrust of the angels sword. Narcissus meanwhile found the puppet he fought slowly out-fencing him in sword combat.. it's movements gracile and beautiful, as his grew more clumsy, whilest Mortema found her darkness being battered down slowly by the human-puppets attack.. at least if they followed the script. They could deviate from it, truly, one like them could likely cut down such summoned puppets in a blow or two, they were not that strong.. but doing so actually inflicted pain upon them. While not doing so felt.. easier. Right. They could just give up control to the strings. There was a sense of inevitability that a weak-minded mortal would completely fall to. Of course, these three were far from mortal.. Any attempt to cut the spectral strings would prove painful and futile, whilest disspelling a spell on the level Deva had prepared would be challenging for even the greatest of mages.. and pretty much impossible whilest also being attacked by a summoned plush-puppet.

"The Macabre Dance is a spell created by my own worst nightmares. What is more intimidating than knowing that not only is your fate preordained, but that it is a fate that leads to ultimate decay and defeat, no matter how hard we struggle? By the way.. out of a mercy that is more foolish than anything, I tell you that there is one way to overcome this spell. Though think carefully. You are currently being shunted partially in another dimension of my own design. A dimension that has its own rules, which is what makes this spell possible. I advice against simply leaving this dimension, originally created by the placement of the four plushies. Oh and one more thing. If you are a skilled spellcaster and know how, you can actually strengthen a spell -after- it has been cast, by re-intonating it's invocation." Deva suggested, one hand playacting the pulling of strings, her puppets, all eight of them, danced to, with her right reaching into the shadows below her, to pull out a mirror, as she chanted:
" Living hell is coming. Misery is waiting at the gates of Armageddon. Raging fires will burn the very souls of dead and dying. Mortal is the hope of anyone who's even trying." Well.. this was certainly different from anything she usually cast, Isa and Narcissus would know, exspecially as Deva simply repeated the same lines over and over.. however, they seemed to do the trick. The tugs of the strings connecting each of the agents became stronger, as the ground below them turned subtly wooded, a large curtain appearing left and right, as if they were currently on a stage, while all around Deva, spectator seats, filled with faceless people began to appear, reaching up high around the three agents trapped within Deva's spell... whilest the real, or well, half real world of the in between and its people became partially translucent, just like Tabitha had experienced in the past.
Except they were not faceless. No, they were. But they weren't. If any of the agents had the awareness during battle to look, there seemed to be brief hints of expressions, flashing through the crowd of puppets, always hard to focus on... The faces of long lost loved ones (or Narcissus himself, in his case), but contorting in despair. Another face had dark eyes, an open, dark mouth full of emptyness, a face had innocent eyes crying tears of blood and nothing else and some of the faces, just of the corner of their eyes seemed to have expressions of bemusement, enjoying the spectacle below.. while hiding Deva's location somewhat.
Every spell had a weakness and this spells weakness was that while it would be damaging to resist, it's caster could still be attacked, if one dared do so and could overcome the magics psychological effects.
"By the way. If you want to call the first for help, now would be the best time." Deva adviced, knowing that doing so would make Mortema and Narcissus want to do the opposite just to defy her.. and this new demonic woman would likely at least second guess.. buying Deva valuable time. All she needed was another moment now.. If the first arrived now and struck her down before she could activate act two, that'd be troublesome as individually, the acts were 'not that strong'. Deva chuckled inwardly, watching at her illusory puppet audience shifting in a combination of illusiory image and fear-magic.. Not that strong. "A little trivia for the curious. I consider the Dance Macabre my second most powerful trump card. No one ever managed to escape this spell if I didn't allow them to. Well.. not like I like to use it often, so that's not much of a feat. While I now defeat you, I will credit you, you three, this whole rebellion, for making me mobilize this amount of power. Once the cloaked one learns of my actions here, and she will, I'll have a tough time dealing with the five..." She looked over to Valerie briefly, thoughtfully. "Agents that remain unknown, with so much of my powers now revealed. Then again, if you ask me, too much power is a burden. Like this spell. I regret creating this terrible power, but sometimes, only a greater evil can destroy great evil. Oh, here's a suggestion, you could try calling the Cloaked One herself right now and framing me. She could propably break this spell apart with some tome-juice. Plus, then, if you managed to use the lands in between against us tome-users you could get the double package. The first will want your proclaimed mistress, but you, Lucifer, could have this feisty angelblood. You know, I used to serve in the hell of my world, under Glasya the princess of hell, kind of undercover of course, but technically I was never stripped of my rank there..You can propably see some infernal inscription of Malbolge somewhere on me? oh the stories I could tell..." Deva offered, all truthfully, in order to further occupy Lucifers mental capacities with her suggestion. Rank three likely meant that, just like Narcissus, the demoness could 'ascend' and Deva rather wanted her to underestimate the spell she was in until the second act started. The equivalent of Lucifer in her world was Asmodeus.. a being on the same rank as Pale Night and, whereas lesser agents actually had boasted about their feats of conquest, this one didn't need to. Deva's angelic blood alone warned her to be cautious. Priorly, she had been pretty sure that the first might be able to withstand her full Danse Macabre, now that there was someone named Lucifer, if understanding what she was dealing with, might actually be able to resist it, at least somewhat, as well. Suddenly, she was glad for having already unsealed her shadowmagic.

For a moment, unwillingly, she hesitated, leaning on her Guisarme to prevent herself from stumbling.. the restoration she cast on herself earlier was a good magical fix, but she had used up a lot of power.. not to mention the spell active right now! Oh well. It didn't matter. Thanks to Narcissus recklessness, she had the rebellion where she wanted them. And even if the first came, there was still a little suprise, silently hidden in the shadows.
She smirked briefly. A part of her was certain that, by the second act, at least one of these three would break down and try to call in the first as well. She just hoped Isa, all of those she could summon, were ready.

((Deva used limit break!))

She also glanced over to Valerie, this time, her expression was one of apologetic hope.. this .. darkness.. was necessary in order to stop those who'd bring greater harm if not stopped. She just hoped her mistress, her beautiful, strong alpha would understand and not hate her for it. Still, Valerie deserved to know and see, the heights of darkness the angel was willing to inflict upon those irredeemable. "Tomey, while I work on this, please help clear the fog from Valeries mind.. not the instincts or anything though." She requested, with an innocent blush on her slightly paled cheeks. "I don't want to, but have to have her see what happened to those that tried to use her and wished to destroy so many lifes, remorselessly. Hannn.." she couldn't help a wanton look at the wolf-woman, even with the adrenaline her body was still filled with the arousing musk and instincts too, to the point where a part of her regreted taking away the alphas chance to fight her foes...
Then again, if Deva anticipated Lucifers strength right and knowing the first was still missing, perhaps the werewolf would still get her fight and then some..

Spoiler on Deva's spell, just to not potentially undersell the strategist (or even Serp or other onlookers) ability to analyze magic.
The spell combines high level transmutation magic with illusion magic in a variety of flavours. While the audience and stage are a simple illusion, as are the strings, the latter are actually partially real, inflicting genuine damage contingent on people not following the spells act, but for a large part they, as well as the loss of being able to control what you can do are an illusion.
The plushies were transmuted into larger animated object and disguised with an illusion, their threat level is not that great individually, comparative in strength and endurance to a top physical condition human. However, something is different about the unassigned puppet, which seems to have the strength of a genuine greater fiend. (Albeit, if Lucifer were a king, this would be a third-in-line prince at best).
The conjuration or illusion alone would be able to inflict little damage and could be easily ignored, it's them working together that creates a problem.
Moreso, having the intel from Tabitha, potentially, there is another act that summons mirrors and somehow could reflect Tabithas power back onto her, which obviously would make fighting these summoned creatures far more problematic if Deva used it next.. which, most likely is her plan.

It wasn't necessarily that Valerie wasn't afraid of what Deva might be able to do, it was just that she was brave enough to get through it. She wasn't a fool, she could tell that Deva had accumulated quite a bit of dangerous power, but that didn't mean that she was going to back down or run scared from it. Even when she was faced by a challenge that was greater than herself, she wasn't going to back down and she wasn't going to show her fear. Though her internal fears would be assuaged a bit when she felt that kiss on her bottom, giving the angel an approving smile to the angel after the lewd lick, Deva's heart fluttering a little just from knowing that Valerie approved of her. The musk and her own submission mingling together to make the angel feel wonderful when she knew that her Alpha approved of what she was doing, a true happiness that came from proper submission. Even though Valerie knew that she was technically still supposed to be trying to fight the angel and capture her, she couldn't help but lean down just a little bit and give her a soft lick across the face, quite enjoying the angel no matter what situation they were in, part of it being Valerie coming through to show some of the care that she had for Deva. No matter what had happened to her mind, no matter how corrupted she became, it seemed that she still quite enjoyed the angel, she still approved of her and wanted to care for her.

Narcissus, meanwhile, would have no words whatsoever for Deva before turning into a proper archangel once again, feeling the holy power flowing through him after being separated from it for so long. He had honestly forgotten just how powerful he could be, just how easily it would be to smite mortals below him if he so wished. For the briefest moment his rage would subside, stopping for a moment as he just thought about things, feeling an odd sense of nostalgia for the days when things were far simpler, but now... now he couldn't see the only thing that he cared about. His own appearance was taken from him, everything that he loved in this world suddenly gone. And just thinking about that would cause the rage to surge through him all over again. The hatred and anger, the pure disgust that someone would do something like that, his vision would go red all over again as he was constantly reminded of what Deva had done to him. "HMPH! It doesn't matter how much you KNOW about what I can do! A blade through your heart won't kill you less just because you can expect it!" He'd shout at her, not taking her advice about keeping his calm, instead wanting to run her through as punishment for daring to do something like this to him. Plus there was the added bonus of potentially being able to see himself once again if he were to kill the angel. While Deva wouldn't be able to see it underneath the helmet, she could almost FEEL the insane smirk that was plastered across the angel's face. It was clear in his body language, despite all the holy posturing and avenging angel look that he had going on, it seemed more like he was breaking down in an almost childish rage, knowing that he had lost the only thing that he had ever put any amount of time caring about. Day in and day out he'd spend hours and hours perfecting his look, using everything available to him so that for the rest of the day he could admire his own work. Without being able to do that, he would have nothing to do in life, nothing that was worthwhile, and the only thing that kept him from falling into despair was his desire for revenge, his bloodlust that having this happen caused.

Lucifer, however, was exceptionally calm, just a small smile on her face as Deva introduced herself, the demon seeming to be slowly sizing Deva up with every moment that she stood there, like she was internally calculating hundreds and hundreds of different ways to harm the angel, coming up with plans as she simply stood there. "I must admit, I was hesitant to join this rebellion myself when the First brought the idea to me... I had thought that it was some sort of test, 'Mistress' trying to see if I was truly loyal... but after enough time I realized the chance that something like this would present. And from there I've been working on all sorts of plans to make things work, there's a reason we've never been discovered despite all that we manage to do. It's not easy keeping such a conspiracy from one that is a few steps away from being able to see everything whenever she wishes." Lucifer would chuckle to herself, remembering all the things that she needed to do in order to ensure they could work in secret. In fact, she had wanted nothing to do with Deva as things went forward, as she had felt that the angel was too dangerous of a variable in any plan, and if it hadn't been for their boss' orders, they'd have listened to her. But unfortunately she had wanted to try to get Deva in the group in some form, as she would have made things much easier for all of them. "You are wrong, I'm smart but even I must admit that it's fun for you to know what's coming... You see... The First isn't scared of you, I told them to stay back because of two words. Plausible deniability. If she's not here and you defeat us all, she can pretend to have never known about this whole rebellion. Then, since she is ABLE to face 'Mistress' on her own if she plays her cards right, she might still have a chance of emerging victorious, then using her power to assist us." The demonic ruler would say, actually willing to give away that kind of information because it revealed her own intelligence when it came to crafting plans, as while she wasn't on Narcissus' level, she did indeed enjoy indulging in her own pride, enjoying how smart she considered herself.

While Deva couldn't banter, Narcissus didn't want to anymore, instead deciding that he could no longer tolerate listening to Deva after what she had done to him, still considering her to be the evil one in this entire situation. So he would rush straight at her, and had she been a normal person the strike that he aimed at her would be enough to end her life right there. Though he seemed rather upset that she raised her weapon to block, only to be just as surprised when his sword went right through and still struck where he had aimed it, his confusion slowing him down for only a second before his rage took over once again. Then the flame of his sword faded, leaving him somehow even more angry than he had been just a few moments ago. "Fine! Take my sword's power! I will just do this the slow way... I'LL ENJOY FEELING YOU SUFFER AT MY HANDS! You don't deserve a quick death... Oh I will savor this!" He'd scream, throwing a tantrum, his most important thing being taken away from him. Mortema, meanwhile, would be in the middle of a battle with the Serpent, though from the looks of it she was easily gaining ground on him, as the man had used up a lot of energy and power just trying to fight Narcissus. Then right before she was about to land a powerful strike with a shadow blade, she'd be pulled away by Deva, shouting out in surprise. Valerie would yelp in surprise as she was suddenly engulfed, appearing in a different spot around people that she had never met before, and she would almost immediately rush towards Deva before feeling her instincts telling her not to do that. She couldn't be sure, but she could feel that something was about to happen, something that was incredibly dangerous for her and anyone that was inside whatever spell the angel had set up. While she wasn't great at being able to understand the power of spells, she KNEW that something wrong was starting to happen, something that she wouldn't want to be a part of.

Narcissus wouldn't even be thinking about whatever spell Deva was using, instead just attacking her, taking a slash with his blade and then immediately trying to just punch at Deva, slamming his fist into her as hard as possible, seeming like he just wanted to hurt her at this point, purposely taking a less efficient method out of a sadistic desire for revenge. "Well this isn't going to end well..." Lucifer would state, though she wouldn't seem all that concerned about this development, as though she knew that something was coming, yet at the same time was only moderately concerned about how it was going to affect the results of this battle. Though he just continued to get even more and more enraged by the way that Deva wasn't paying full attention to him, that she wasn't begging for her life or for him to stop, it just made him even angrier. Yet when she spoke her last words, they managed to pierce through his insanity and rage to get a response out of him. "True beauty doesn't fade, fool. My beauty will be eternal once I wipe out every last ugly thing that stands in my way." He said, that idea showing all the way to his very core, it was what he believed more than anything else, that eternal beauty was in his grasp after he rid himself of every last thing that he considered 'ugly'. Mortema, meanwhile, would simply scoff at her words, looking at the angel with what seemed more like annoyance than anything else, like she had heard something similar to that before. "Hmph... If I will be defined by them, then I will be defined by the MOMENT that I wipe out every single one of them. That is more than enough to define me." She retorted, having wanted to wipe humans out of her story for a very long time now, and not even caring if they defined her, as they would be gone at one point or another. But then there was Lucifer, who would hear Deva's gloating about her plans, or more accurately her revelation of all her plans. The Swarm still existing, her purposely making them think that she had wiped them out, the fact that she had made them think they had the advantage. However, the demon would only get a wide, evil, gloating smirk that was dripping with smug satisfaction as she said simply two words. "I know." That was all she felt she had to say, still seeming strikingly confident considering the fact that it looked as though she was in a lot of danger with whatever Deva was planning. Was she bluffing just to further intimidate Deva? Or had she actually been working under the assumption that something was going to happen that she wouldn't expect? It would actually be rather hard to get a read on her with her expression, which was smug, but mostly calm and collected, an expression that could easily be an act if this one was as clever as she seemed to be. Then just as suddenly she'd look rather surprised, taking a look around her, seeming to see something that the others weren't noticing, examining her surroundings. "Hmmmm... Intriguing..." She would mutter, the only one that was keeping her calm in this entire scenario. Narcissus had gone insane with his rage at what Deva had done, Mortema was still fuming over the thought of stopping her plans against the humans, but Lucifer didn't even seem bothered by all the things that she was learning, instead just seeming more curious than anything else. Perhaps that was why she had become their strategist, her ability to calmly analyze a situation despite things going in directions that were almost impossible to expect.

"A warning to both of you, though I doubt either of you will listen... This is either going to get extremely demented... Extremely painful... or both. Still, continue what you're doing, I'll need a little more to happen before I come up with a proper plan." She would order, now just staring at Deva and not even trying to stop whatever it was that the angel was doing. Even while all of them felt that foreboding sense of wrongness, even when Mortema grew a little more nervous and Narcissus' rage and insanity faded a bit into worry, Lucifer wouldn't show anything. Either they felt the same fear and hid it better, or she really was one that didn't worry over tremendous displays of power. Though her eyes did widen when she saw the strings connect, surprise growing clear now as she looked at the other two to see the same thing. Meanwhile, most of the lands in between would heed Deva's request, turning and wishing not to look, except for two people. One was Valerie, who refused to look away for a multitude of reasons, one of which was to see her enemies defeated. The other was... Isa? Isa seemed determined, concerned, and fearful doing so, but she had promised to herself to try to do something if she felt that Deva was going too far, and so she couldn't just turn away and pretend that the angel wasn't about to do something horrible. She knew that something terrible was coming, but that was why she had to watch, she had to be there to see the depths Deva went to... so she would have to be brave about this. While both Narcissus and Mortema would end up initially following the movement of the strings, being taken by surprise and not really understanding what was going on, Lucifer still seemed unwavering in her ability to remain calm, as she was standing still. Then, while the plushies tried to attack her, while the others danced to the strings, the demon would simply turn to look at Deva... and take a step towards her, pulling against the strings. Then she'd take another... and another... seemingly without much pain. Those dark black eyes were laser focused on the angel, staring her down despite everything happening around her. If any of the other parts of the act tried to stop her, they'd find themselves knocked away by pure demonic energy radiating off of the demon. "Incredible... Really... Impressive... I've yet to find anything to worry me like this... But there's a problem with this game..." Another step, and another, the demon just getting closer and closer towards Deva when suddenly she started... screaming in pain? It was... strange actually. Deva would see that Lucifer's mouth was open and would hear screams of agony, but they weren't in Lucifer's voice. Instead it was the voice of a human woman, the normal person voice only slightly tinged with demonic influence as it screamed and wailed in pure agony, a piercing scream that got louder and louder with each step she took. At the same time, those pitch black eyes were still incredibly focused, the eyes betraying almost no pain while the screaming gave it all. Then the screaming would stop as Lucifer's voice came out of her mouth again. "You're not the only one that likes playing with puppets. Oh dear... this poor vessel is in so much agony right now... It was so easy to trick her into taking me in, might I add... How cruel of you to hurt this young woman like this... Oh well... I only feel a fraction of her pain after all... And an eternity of torment awaits her anyway for striking a deal with me, so she may as well get used to this..." Then the moment that Lucifer finished speaking, the woman's voice would come back, screams of pain and terror emanating from her, devolving into pleas to make it stop in between her screams, while Lucifer and her puppet just took another few steps towards Deva. If the angel puppet at any point got in the way, Lucifer would simply stare at it and point her finger at it, causing it to suddenly be engulfed in flames.

Except... right when Lucifer looked to be within striking range of Deva, her body would suddenly snap back quite a few feet, undoing the steps that she had been making earlier, the screaming subsiding just a little bit as Lucifer's eyes seemed legitimately surprised once again. "Even more intriguing... a pain so intense that my vessel actually regained just enough control to snap me back here? Ha... Haha... HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Oh my that's amazing! Brava! Bravissima! Oh I simply MUST remember this for when I return home... I'm sure I can recreate this in Hell given enough time... Oh the things my old enemies will get to face... the torment I will finally inflict on them... Thank you ever so much for the ideas, Deva~!" She would say, sounding excited at the prospect of employing something similar to this once she got the chance. Though she would try once again to step towards Deva, and once again once she got close she would snap right back to the point she was in now, just testing to see if this was a consistent thing that would happen when her vessel was overwhelmed with that much pain. "Although it is concerning that I can't simply kill you like I wished... Such a bad situation... And these two aren't going to be any help if even I can barely manage this... Your balor is impressive, might I add. It's the only combatant in this that is impressive though. But you see... Were it JUST Lucifer in here I'd even feel that such a demon was a true challenge. But I am sharing this body with more than just the original vessel. My 6 brothers inhabit us as well, giving me their power to better handle a simple threat like that. Hmmmmm... How to proceed..." Lucifer actually didn't have loved ones, she didn't even care for her brothers... nor did she care about her vessel, nor did she even love herself the way Narcissus did, so really it'd be hard to find anyone for the crowd to be for her. Mortema did though, and Narcissus seemed to panic when he saw the crowd looking like himself. But then... It would almost seem as though something in Narcissus just snapped. He'd... stop? Not just stop fighting or stop gloating or stop going insane, he just seemed to stop everything. He didn't move, he didn't speak, he barely seemed to even breathe, and instead he just stood there. The strange part was, he wasn't just giving up and letting the strings pull him around, he was just not moving, fighting the strings just enough so that he could stay completely still and do nothing. When the plushie he was fighting struck at him, he would purposely not dodge or block, letting it strike him as he just stood there, the only signs that he was feeling pain being the occasional twitch or convulsion at the pain the strings caused him. But... it seemed he didn't want to do anything, he didn't want to defend himself, he didn't want to follow the play, he didn't want to laugh or act horrified or angry, he didn't want to fight, it seemed her just wanted to stand there, and from the way he did it, it almost seemed as though he were fully expecting to be slain, and that was in fact what he was hoping for. He had lost the only thing in the world that mattered to him, being able to see his own appearance. And now that he was in a situation where he couldn't take revenge or get it back... he just seemed to stop doing... well... anything. The narcissistic angel just stood there, enduring the pain, not seeming to care whenever an attack came near him... or more accurately, caring in the opposite direction. If he truly didn't care he'd simply follow the strings, but it seemed that he WANTED to get hit, he wanted to stand still and not dodge any strikes. Mortema was the only one that seemed to be having issues doing what she wanted, occasionally falling out of the pattern to make a strike of her own and wincing in pain from doing so, being pulled in Deva's act as her face revealed her broiling rage at the thought of what was happening to her, as well as even more rage growing every time she saw the Ayla/human plushie.

"You've revealed quite a bit with this one... Actually, if it weren't for this being so costly THIS whole thing would make our jobs so much easier... 'Mistress' would see you as a true evil creature after something like this... It's just a shame we got caught in the blast." Lucifer would comment, still willing to talk despite the things happening around her. Just because she only felt some of the pain of her vessel didn't mean that she felt none of it, so she was having to focus through the pain to keep her focus straight. "You're throwing out ideas and suggestions to distract me. Admirable. And yes, I do see the mark on you, but really I could've guessed you'd find a home in Hell if you created THIS. But I don't want you as much as you seem to think I do. You would be a great prize of course, but honestly you've already caused me far too much trouble to forgive. Also... I don't want to keep anyone around that's as smart as me, can't have too much competition, I'm sure you'll understand." If anything she seemed even more callous than Narcissus had been now that she was talking about the things that she planned. While Narcissus seemed to not understand empathy, which was why he had no understanding of why someone would care about others, Lucifer seemed to understand how others felt about certain things, and instead just chose to go the route that would harm them the most.

Valerie... meanwhile... seemed to be getting her wits together on her own, and once the Tome assisted her with that, he focus would return and her expression would grow much more human now. And it seemed she understood exactly what was going on, looking over to Lucifer and Narcissus before returning her look to Deva. And... her expression seemed to say many things. There was disapproval, very clearly evident in her expression, as though she felt that this was too much even for those as evil as the traitors... but at the same time that disapproval wasn't the main thing that was clear in the wolf-Amazon's face... the other major thing was... concern? She was concerned for Deva, as if she worried that the angel was hurting inside, or that something had happened to her long ago that had made her create something like this. She definitely didn't approve of what was happening, but it seemed that caring about the angel was her first priority in this situation... Valerie could see the darkness deep in Deva, and seeing that didn't turn her away, it just made her want to be with the angel more, to give her someone that could make her happy and hopefully never need to create anything similar to this ever again. Meanwhile, Lucifer would seem to think everything over for just a few more moments, as though she were considering all her options in this scenario. "What a terrible scenario for us... But I think I can handle this myself." She would lie, reaching a hand up to tap her wrist twice... and Deva would feel something in the air shift... and if she was paying attention she'd see a rift open up in the dimension close to them and a woman would step through...

Her suit was sleek, form fitting, but at the same time it seemed made of some type of shining metal. A mask covered her face, and the suit seemed incredibly advanced, levels and levels above any technology that Deva had likely seen. Lightning crackled around her left hand, and it looked like a retractable blade was one her left. Meanwhile, on the breast plate, the woman had a symbol, which looked to be a hand holding up a mult-level building, with the letter W at the base of the tall building. The woman would look around, then look at Deva, and some lines on her suit would start to glow red, but right before she rushed at Deva, ice would appear at her feet, sealing them and coating the ground towards Deva in a layer of ice, which would make the First pause, turn to look at Isa. Then, in less than a blink of an eye, the First was right in front of Isa, lifting the Ice Mage up into the air with one hand effortlessly, gripping her neck. Isa would panic and start clawing at that hand gripping her, as she couldn't breathe as the First held her throat, strangling her almost effortlessly.

Serp, meanwhile, would blast a bolt of darkness at the woman, to which the First wouldn't even flinch, the magic not even scratching the suit. Then... out of an almost paternal instinct and desire to save Isa, the Serpent would try to punch the First, to which his hand would immediately be caught, and bent with a terrible snapping sound which Deva would know meant that the First had just broken Serp's arm. He'd shout in pain before immediately trying to punch her once again, his other fist flying in only to get caught by the First's open hand, which there'd be another loud crunching sound as she broke multiple different bones in the mage's hand, leaving him without much combat potential as she just shoved him to the ground. Though he'd at least have succeeded at causing the first to drop Isa on the ground, who at this point would be gasping for air, barely able to focus on anything other than breathing now. "Two down... You. Deva... Surrender and return my... *ahem* My friends to me before I make every last person here suffer." She would order, apparently not knowing that there was someone hiding in the shadows to strike. She didn't even seem fazed by the spell that Deva had used on the rebellion, just simply looking around and doing her own evaluation of the situation as her suit started to glow red again, this time with her main target being Deva.

Deva smiled a subtle smile. How could she be defeated with her mistress watching on? "True, but your anger makes your attacks so predictable I can avoid lethal strikes like that. Well, I warned you." The angel camly responded to Narcissus. She took no pleasure in breaking her foe, but.. that was the best option to properly make him do what she wanted and.. thanks to his treatment of Valerie, she could strike him with little regret.
"I like your eyes, Lucy. Can call you Lucy, right? You said, you had many names." Deva mused, subtly. "You are mistaken in one respect. If the first is not here and I defeat you all, her rebellion will also end, I'm quite certain of that?" Deva poised, with a calm nod.
Deva took a slash from the angel, and then a punch, giving her a nasty nosebleed, her face cringing up in pain, however, once more, she seemed not as heavily perturbed as she had been, the scent of her warm blood wafting over to the werewolf as Deva shrugged and lifted her Ius Victoria, deciding: "Right, right, you've played your part either way. I'm lifting the condition on you." Her guisarme, ever so subtly lit up, as did Narcissus. He was just being annoying now, so she let him see himself again.

Deva nodded thoughtfully, considering the answers of all three to her taunting. "Thank you for answering me, Mortema, Narcissus. I can eradicate you without regret. As for you.. oooh?" Deva smiled, tilting her head with a refound.. curiosity, as she watched Lucifer at those two words, her smile fading, but not into worry, but an expression of genuine curiosity. "How did you figure it out! Come on, don't hide your expression, I'm curious! Did you realize by my personality type, did you predict it all? Did you know which action I would take, that I would say something like this, all along? Did you even see through my Danse Macabre based on the misleading information from Tabitha and my first spells setup?" The angel enthused, extending her hands, almost invitingly.
"Oh, it's going to go demented.. we're all a little crazy around here, are we not? Lucifer, you must understand. So heavy is the burden of the wise ones, when no one can understand a word they say!" Deva nodded and sighed.. and shook her head..

"No.. no Lucifer. you are not supposed to overpower the spell.. this is not the right answer.... that is wrong." She said, seeming.. disapointed. "Nono.. not.. at all.. not at all suprised at what you can do.. nono.. I thought.." Deva almost whimpered, looking at Lucifer. "I was hoping you'd be able to suprise me..

I apologize, Lucifer, but now I also know not to hold back against you. And, I'm afraid, you can not ever use any aspects of this spell.. It is antithetical to your very being."
Deva suggested, with an odd seriousness to her tone. "But first. Narcisuss. No standing around. I told you earlier. Past the point of no return." Deva shook her head.
"Oh.. a summon?" Deva tilted her head, though, Valeries disapproving glance was far more worrysome to her.... please don't hate me.. a part of her whispered. I needed to find something that even the most wicked souls would fear.. Then, Deva recognized the symbol, and began smirking, eyes focused on the one that had been summoned, like Lucifer had stared at her. Deva tilted her head when her friends were hurt. Her left hand gripped a mirror tight, shattering it in her hand, mirrorshards dropping to the ground from her hand, as she thrust her blade into the shadow by her side and out of Serps, striking at the first. She expected her to dodge. And when she did.. Deva would strike. She expected the first to have highly enhanced perception and reaction time. The moment Deva used her shadow strike, the first would instantly adapt and react. Deva was aiming for that moment. As Deva appeared out of a portal, her Guisarme cutting "This is disappointing. No one understood it, did they? Well then,. Allow me, to introduce myself." Deva bowed, extending her hands.. towards the Deva that had struck at the first.. an illusion making both of them look the same, but actually the new Deva, that had hidden in the shadows and prepared her spells.. was far stronger than the now exhausted angel facing the other three. "Past the point of no return. Phantom of the Opera. It's a duet." Deva jumped back, both .. Deva's raising their hands, intonating: "Cure critical wounds!" "Mass cure moderate wounds!" "None down. Oh and before you decide whom you will attack. QUICKENED-Reciprocated-Benevolent Transposition!" Both Deva's flirred, changing position with one another. Then, both began intonating, while slowly, the mirror shards from Deva's broken mirror floated up, while her wounds healed.. or, respectively. Isa's crushed throat and Serps broken arm, as well as the priorly downed allies.
"Past the point of no return. The Final Threshold. The bridge is crossed, so stand and watch it burn, we've passed the point of no retuuuurn!" the Deva closer to the First musing now. "You are the one person I wont aid by telling you what this is. Perhaps one of us is a clone, an illusion, then again, she seems to have my power. That said, You guys have been summoning all day. About time I get to it too." With that, Deva lifted a total of four feathers in her hand, .. while the other Deva observed the mirror-shards glittering and floating up.

" Azalea Cloverleaf. Neith, the Spiderqueen. Avatar of the swarm. Feyline The Phoenix fire. Everyone! Follow the plan! Azalea, backline support, Feyline.. Burn the armor."
With Deva's feathers fluttering through the air, a total of four powerful summoning-circles opened up. The one person unknown to the first would be the strange, fiery-phoenix girl, who grinned, noting the seriousness in Deva's tone.. and snipped her finger, a giant pillar of fire suddenly engulfing the first, while Fey titled her attack: "Mighty melting mayhem!"
"Feyline is one of the most powerful pyromancers of all time. Simple but effective. Anyway. Try to kill any of them if you so desire first, I'm a better healer than you a murderer yet. But, perhaps you want to focus on the other me." Deva nodded over, to the Deva who now watched a sphere of mirrors form, as she addressed lucifer:

"You could be smarter than me, actually, but....you are NOT a tactician. Let me educate you while.. heh. ~I~ busy the first. Oh to be clear, you are smarter than Narcissus or Mortema, but being smart is not the same as strategy, just like mere strength doesn't equal victory in battle."

"A real strategy feels like this: The moment, you hear or see a person, the instant you see how they stand and talk and act and look at you and others, the way they title themselfs, all that together creates a personality pattern, which you can then compress, given the lense of any priorly encountered personality patterns, to emerge with a prediction of future behavioural patterns.
The greater the extend of someones displayed power is, the easier it becomes to predict not just the responses to simple questions, but their combat strategy as a whole. And once you understand that, once you can accurately predict every possible reaction that might occur, you can completely control the flow of battle. I am sure you understand, but for everyone listening..
An example I like to explain it to people with is.. What will a baby do if you take away it's candy? Right, so knowing this near certain oucome but avoiding it even if you still want the candy, how do you go about it? It's like that. Admittedly, it was harder against Narcissus... but then. I've only fought a few angels, negligable, compared to thousands of demons and tyrants.

, you were in checkmate, but it was none of Narcissus doing." Deva extended her finger and pointed, her eyes glowing with a mind the likes of which even Lucifer had never seen, well she had, but the mighty fiend likely refused to describe Deva's expression as 'like my own, but a bit more intense'. "What Narcissus did was an inevitable outcome of him facing me after allowing me to analyze his methods. No. When you arrived and arrogantly made the mistake to introduce yourself, right then and there, among the near limitless patterns you could have used in combat, your strategies, abilities, capabilities, the way you would react and the way to defeat you collapsed into a few dozen, at most a few hundred possible options, any of which I can easily anticipate and prepare countermeasures for.
Furthermore, every moment you spent facing me and displaying your abilities further reduces that number into an easy to deal with set of variables.
Now, all I need to do is to simply eliminate every possible outcome leading to your victory."

"That's why I'm so disappointed.. you are so smart, yet.. it feels as if I've fought you hundreds of times before. You are so pathetically predictable, your every action might as well be predetermined. Granted, there was some deviation, I underestimated the raw strength of the upper echelons of the cloaked one, and
the degree to which she allowed the rebellion to thrive under her in a desperate grasp at power, but that is something
I'll deal with later."
Deva clasped her hands together, as she, and anything but the strange puppet-audience and the puppets faded away even more.. about one third real only now, as the second act came into place. "Secundum actum: speculum universum" Second act: Mirror Universe, Deva intonated. However, the spell was different from what she had used against Tabitha. Sure, there were the mirrors, with the repeating odd reflection, but more. The spells actually worked together, as of the three remaining puppets, one angel complteely incinerated by Lucifer, each of the puppets recieved a mirror-shield that reflected their opponent, the Balor now actively blocking lucifers way, while the one fighting Mortema and Narcissus both took up a more defensive position. Ironically, this time, it was Narcissus that would immediatly notice something was off.. his mirror image was not, well, mirrored. Every mirrors imperfection was of curse that it showed you in reverse.. this mirror, did not. And if any of the three tried to attack the puppets, they'd realize why, the mirror shield coming up, shattering.. and any damage they had inflicted being reflected back upon them. The puppets remained defensive, but would preassure their respective partners if given the room.
If at any point during this, the first tried to attack one of the Deva's, they'd find their attack quite sucessful.. until Deva's Morphea activated that was. Even if the first had guessed right, Deva could still use a quickened benevolent transposition spell.
But, that was not the true power of the Mirror universe. Deva smirked, and clasped her hands together. "Strategy.. is hiding your urge to laugh and pretending you are a bit worried, when you face someone whom you've spent so long preparing to defeat. Don't believe me? Time for the second stage of my incantation!" Deva proclaimed,
"Cometh the hour of our reckoning we will be ready. Cometh the angel, the messenger from hell we dreaded, Cometh the devils disciples so we must be ready." Both Narcissus and Mortema felt a disconcerting personal address in Deva's words. "My heart is strong my faith goes on, but if my world is threatened, I'll fight the fight, they'll pay the price, their blood will flow with vengeance. The dogs of war will rip apart hostility unbounded and to the end our spells will roar until the the enemy is CRUSHED!
-to the point of no return. Beg for mercy, scum of satan! Lucifer's a corpse in waiting."
Deva's eyes focused on Lucifer with that, one fifth of her mirros growing dark as she used up one of the reflections to invert the powers these three were exhibiting.
Mortema, was hit the least, feeling her own aura of dread-dominion turn upon her, though she could likely endure it. Narcissus, who had unleashed so much holy aura would find his own overwhelming might eating away at him, forcing him to mobilize more power just to endure and not collapse. Even Lucifer, would find her own overwhelming unholy aura turn inward upon herself. The spell was more powerful the more power one exhibited against it.

Deva, meanwhile, mused at the first one. "Thanks, everyone, for every valuable second you bought me. Please make sure to stay by my side. First one. I'll admit, I want to boast a little, you see, people close to me lately seem convinced I'd struggle against the amount of power you wield." She shook her head.

"Power.. is irrelevant. Power... is a burden. My power is pretty much like this thing here. A guisarme, by the way, which is a fancy way of saying 'we didn't know if we wanted to make it a spear or a halberd, so we stopped halfway'"
Deva chuckled, mused and looked at her weapon. "It can't even properly cut things if I wanted it to. But at the same time, it can make tyrants bent their knees before me. If that doesn't sound like power..." She shrugged, then went on.

"What you have, is not power, it's just raw force. There's a difference. Just like raw 'brains' are not strategy. If you truly wanted power, put on a slaves outfit while making sure the king does as you desire. Trust me, been there, done that. I plead with you to forsake power at any cost." This Deva extended her hand. "This is why I'm not afraid of raw power, there, within my mirror universe, your servants are ripped apart by their own power, forced to spent more of it just to resist their own overwhelming might, more power, that in turn, is used to crush them even further. It is that, or accept the full weight of the magic you unleash upon others." The Deva using the Danse macabre mused at Lucifer: "You cannot possibly apropriate this magic for hell. It was designed to destroy the very foundations of hell. Any suffering you inflict upon others, is reflected back to you. Granted you still have your host, but I'll fix that in a moment." She mused.

Meanwhile, the -other- Deva focused fully on the first.
"But I haven't introduced myself, how rude." She nodded, pulling out.. a bottle of something she had snatched from the pirate ship, taking a deep swing, her stance subtly changing.. only Valerie recognizing this weird shift in moveset, Deva's expression turning.. oddly serena, a gentle smile crossing her lips, as she fully focused on the first one. "Time to fight evil with niceness." She nodded at the armored maiden. "You'll go this Far and no FURTHER!"
, her aura growing.. far stronger, somehow, once more, or not.. stronger, no stronger now, weaker then, unstable. It was a strange sensation, gazing upon Deva as she was. Just looking at her was.. inspiering. Encouraging. One should follow ones dreams. With her raising two fingers in a victory sign. "Final trump card. Incarnation of the innermost self." Deva declared, raising her hand to unleash a dark ball of energy at the first.. which would explode into a glittering swarm of butterflies, fluttering around and swarming out, settling on the shoulder of anyone needing healing, and melting into it, flapping recovery-magic enhanced wings.
"If I get a cut in on you, I'll place you under a condition to color your armor pink first thing in the morning." She grinned, more devious than dangerous, extending her arms for a hug, fully expecting the first one to chokeslam her, only to follow that up with an enthused laughter. "So strong! Shake on it later?" With the angel melting into her own shadow, a cut of her guisarme seperating her.. unless the first wished to risk being hit.

"Listen First One, listen well,
And yes, talking like this could be part of a spell
Tell me what are you fighting for?
Because I'm just here to settle a score."

She enthused, a giant hand of darkness reaching out to grab at the first, slamming into her if it hit, or simply reaching out to hover over Serp.. as if to fist-bump him if it missed. if he did that, the shadow-energy would flow into him, re-invigorating him.

"Your schemes demise is now at hand,
This will become your final stand.
I'm actually so much stronger than you,
Though I guess you wont believe that thats true."

Deva mused, avoiding a counter-strike by simply turning herself into a shadow, reforming to stab her guisarme in random, badly aimed patterns, only for her to fall over, slowly sinking into the darkness again, emerging from another shadow a good distance away, poking out her tongue at her opponent. If the first allowed herself to be distracted by that however, she'd hear an enthusiastic: "Red hot firebird slam!" Accompanying a series of small, winged, homing fireballs flying at her from Fey's hand.

"Go ahead and try to hit me if you're able.
But you'll find that I can be quite unstable
All the pain you've caused was purely pointless
So I hope that you will not enjoy this."

Deva enthused, raising her hand to create a giant ball of darkness, which quickly shrunk down in size into an even darker, about palm, sized sphere, Deva tossing the dark sphere at the first, only to stumble into her own toss, again sinking into a shadow.. and out of a shadow, in the path of her trajectory, catching the shadow-ball before its attack could hit, giggling silly as an explosion of darkness-energy left her relatively unharmed, with her tilting back at the first one, suddenly floating upwards, ignoring the rules of gravity and musing, bend backward.

"I have power you can't understand or measure,
So I wont even let you have the pleasure
of you believing that you could ever defeat me,
While I'm fighting you oh so carefree."

Deva mused, tossing her Guisarme at the First, only to teleport and catch it mid air, changing it's directory into a sweeping cut, making sure to blow a kiss rather than take the opening if her random combat style created any opening there, only for her to jump back and give anyone the first had managed to injure, if any at all, a healing poke, laughing with genuinly delight at simply undoing any of the pain the rebellions leader could possibly cause to Devas allies, while they wittled her down..

"Fighting you will be so much fun,
So would you like to hear a pun?
Everyone expects me to get all imperious,
But I can't really fight when I'm serious!"

Deva grinned, appearing to be gathering darkness in her hand again, actually, a quickened minor image, disguising a summoning which unleashed.. a growth of flowers upon whatever it hit, then, she pulled out a piece of wrapped candy, making sure to nom on it and.. toss the wraper in the first ones way, in a challenging way. "Don't step on it, you might slip." She adviced, while Fey casually tossed a distracting fireball at the Firsts back, only for Deva to appear to stumble forward, slamming the ground and making spikes of darkness shoot at the woman. Overall, her pace was completely unpredictable, as Deva playfully commanded her tome: "Tomey, play me some . Now come, first one, Lucifer, if you have the power to overcome my dance. Come forth all ye wicked, and learn what it means to face an angel of the Court of Stars. I have them to protect, a beautiful mistress watching me, perhaps more than one. Kinky competition! There's no way I can lose." Deva laughed, then peered over to Isa, raising a hand to conspiratorily shout-whisper over to her. "More ice and or cheer-leading. Hey, promise me a strawberry smoothie if I win, that'll really get me going. one-two-one-two!" Deva mused, stretching a little, looking at her guisarme, chuckling, waving it about which actually made it turn back into a broom, wiggling an eyebrow at the first. "Time to cleanse your evil. Get it? I got the broom for puns, might as well use it. Seriously though. This is pointless. You lost this fight the moment you attacked and threatened my friends. Bad girl. Apologize. No cookies for you."

Deva swirled back and forth at that, moving her hips almost as if belly dancing. No matter how smart her opponent was.. she was completely impossible to predict. That, and a fully magic-powered up Deva also using her shadow-cloak actually had the physical ability to briefly keep up with the first.. if the supportshe had called could help distract her. Deva didn't need to beat the first one. Just a scratch on that armor would do for now, a prove she was not invincible. If the first tried to use a shield similiar to Narcissus she'd find that Deva had gotten quite proficient at damaging those down quickly, having seen it often enough by now.
Not only that, but Deva made happy giggling noises and mimicked opening a can if she had to deal with such a shield.
Though, without a doubt, eventually, an attack would connect, the first would hit Deva, perhaps with quite the serious attack. She had to get at least somewhat serious and lower her defensive-capabilities in exchange for pushing through Deva's unpredictable movements and Deva's ability to recover from lesser attacks by turning into her shadow-form.. But that attack. That one moment... that was what she was hoping for.

Narcissus wouldn't respond much to anything that Deva had said up until she returned his ability to see himself... causing him to stop in his tracts and look down at his hands again. "I... I can see myself again? Oh Joyous Day!" He would scream out in happiness, all the anger and rage seeming to completely fade from him, any hint of violent desires gone just as quickly as they came. Then... Deva would see the holy energy quickly drain away from him as the armor would glow white before just... disappearing and returning Narcissus to his regular angel form? "Much better! Beauty all over again. Thank you for this. Anyway... Go ahead and kill me if that's what you're planning please. I'm ready to die now." The angel would say, sounding rather calm and actually happy now that he could see himself. "What the Hell is wrong with you? Fight her!" "Are you kidding me? She could make it impossible for me to SEE myself. The fact that such a power exists means that I want to die while I can still see myself. I'd prefer to die beautiful than die not being able to admire my beauty. So my best option is to die as quickly as possible BEFORE that happens again." The angel would explain, showing how much he actually cared about his own appearance, to the point where he'd rather die than ever risk something like that happening again. So he would continue to stand still, letting any strike hit him despite the pain in the hopes that he would die before he ever had to lose sight of himself again.

Then he heard that Deva didn't like him standing around, and would simply scoff and smile at her. "If you want me to move, you'll have to kill me. I can be quite stubborn if I wish, and I wish to die a beautiful death rather than stand around and risk something like that happening again." He would say, before making a noise of pain, but still forcing himself to stay still and take any hits that came his way in the hopes of being gone before anything got worse for him. "You either die beautiful, or live long enough to never see the beauty again. I know which I would choose." The angel would explain, seeming not willing to budge on this matter.

"How did I know? Simple deduction. You are clearly willing to eliminate those you find TRULY evil, but you're too cowardly and weak to simply kill those that are 'good' and just making the wrong choices or what have you. Even though the Hive could stand in your way in the future, you're too pathetic to properly end them and make life easier for you. Trust me, it's not a hard deduction to make... Well... It's not a hard deduction for ME... I suppose others are dreadfully stupid. We've already prepared for what the Hive will try to do, as they're even easier to predict than your average person." Lucifer would state, as though this was just another regular deduction, even though no one else around her had even considered something like that. Though she had nothing to talk about when it came to the idea of strategy, as she knew not to talk about those kinds of things with someone that she considered legitimately smart. Besides, she had no need to formulate further strategy when she had the First waiting for a particularly bad situation. And now that Lucifer felt that she had no chance of easily handling this, she decided it was time to properly use their greatest weapon.

The First was here... and there was no massive aura of magical energy, there was no overwhelming force pushing at Deva's mind, just a woman in a suit standing in a way that betrayed a large amount of confidence. This wasn't like the others, she didn't feel a need to exude her power, instead she just stood and evaluated the situation around her and looked prepared to deal with what came her way. When the blade came out of the shadow, aiming to strike the First, the blade would reach and nearly touch the armor and... suddenly the First just wasn't there. In fact she was quite a distance away from where the blade would've struck, seeming to just appear in a new spot in an instant, dodging the blade strike with very little effort. Then came another strike and... The First dodged yet again, no matter what angle Deva tried to come from, it seemed that the First had seen her coming and moved out of the way at the same incredible speed, the First still not looking like she was even exerting any energy. Then again, it'd be hard to tell if she was tiring herself out considering the suit masked her face entirely. "Illusions... Exactly as expected. Protocol DV." She would say, sounding more like she was talking to herself rather than talking to Deva, though what the angel wouldn't see was her shifting a setting in her suit. Her suit would first switch to a mode that detected heat signatures rather than the visual display that illusions were known for. It was her first test, if Deva's illusions were completely illusions, then they likely wouldn't have any heat readings, and even if they were real they might have some kind of difference to a normal persons heat signature. Either way, her suit would start scanning body heat, working on finding some way to easily see through Deva's illusions, working with what she considered to be the simplest way to get tell the difference.

She would simply stand silent and watch the healing spell as Deva cast it, watching as the two people she had just incapacitated were healed, not seeming to react much to that. She was purposely making herself hard to read, having already seen how much Deva could do just from reading how someone reacted and the things that they said. Lucifer may have been smarter, but the First was much better at keeping her cool and refusing to give her enemy any information to work off of. "Lucifer... when this is through we're going to have to have a talk about you betraying Mistress? I believe that's what I heard... I do hope that was just some attempt at fooling this angel." The First would say, purposely keeping up the ruse as though she were not a part of this rebellion, and even working to try and establish some form of deniability for not just herself, but for Lucifer as well, apparently finding quite a bit of use for the strategist. "But we need to rescue you first. That can come for later." She would say, not taking her eyes off of Deva, or if her heat sensors couldn't detect her then not taking her eyes off either of the Devas.

Just as the angel had planned, each of her summons would show up, Azalea, Neith, and the Swarm's Avatar would each appear, springing into action to follow whatever lead that Deva gave them. "Turning my own friends against me? You are more violent and evil than Mistress thought." Though when the pillar of flame engulfed the First, there'd be no sound of screaming or anything of the like, and after a moment they'd see the First calmly walking out of the fire, her suit glowing orange now instead of red as the woman looked around. Then she'd lift her hand, and fireball would launch out of the palm of her suit, aimed directly at Azalea, already knowing how much the plant woman hated fire. "The only thing is... Turning my allies against me means that I know exactly how to defeat them, especially considering I defeated them all already." She would say, her suit glowing with heat, but seeming to actually take in the fire and use it, a few flames occasionally venting out of parts of the suit as she looked at the group of enemies standing around her. "Is that all the heat she has? My thermostat can go higher than that..." And now she was suddenly mocking the pyromancer? She had seemed so calm moments ago, and now she was acting cocky... which probably meant that the First was trying to get Fey to hit her with more fire for whatever reason.

"You act as though you've seen the full extent of my power... OR my brilliance. But you're right, I've lost... Congratulations on destroying me and my vessel. Or perhaps congratulations on destroying me and somehow saving my vessel. Truly a terrible day. I suppose you've already figured that I'm rather calm considering my loss... but I guess that's just how I am. Though I find it prudent to mention... If you supposedly wish to fix these stories, it would hurt a story even more for them to have completely lost their villain. Carry on though, don't let something like that stop you." Lucifer would comment, still not seeming as concerned as she should be about something like this. "Still... While I am extensively staying calm, I do have to admit that you are far more intelligent and clever than I gave you credit for. If it weren't for how 'virtuous' you are, you'd have made an excellent ally within my story. But it seems that we are fated to be on opposite sides... Ah well, as I fade and get destroyed by whatever it is that you're doing, I wish you luck against the First Ranked among us. I don't quite know how powerful she really is... and maybe it is better that you destroy me than I be taken back to 'Mistress' to await punishment." The demon would respond, still keeping her calm through it all, not enjoying her demise the way that Narcissus did, but also not struggling or fighting the way that Mortema had done it.

Which was why, when the mirrors started appearing Lucifer wouldn't actually do anything to stop them, simply leaning back and enjoying wherever things were going, occasionally looking a bit surprised by something, but otherwise continuing to observe and lack any level of resistance, more just watching things to figure out the kinds of things that Deva could create. She wouldn't even try to pull against the strings any more, just observing. Meanwhile, the very moment that Narcissus realized that the mirrors reflected his own power back at him, he would just start unleashing a barrage of magic bolts directly at the mirror in another attempt to destroy himself. Yet even as Lucifer felt her own unholy energy being turned against her, she stopped caring or fighting against it, calmly letting the spell pull her in whatever direction it chose, a calm smile still on her face as she watched Narcissus try to end his own life through the use of Deva's spell. "Heh... I don't get a chance to tell my opponents this often... but I can't deny that you are wise. Come. Take your victory."

The First, meanwhile, would immediately move to strike whichever one she determined was 'real'. And if her suit couldn't properly determine which one was real, she would just launch herself at one of them, speed too quick for anyone that didn't have superhuman speed to keep up with. She'd immediately slam a powerful fist into one of them, the strength behind that punch not as powerful as what Deva had seen from Fortem... but it felt like she was actually pulling her punch, purposely trying to not kill or even seriously injure Deva with her strikes. "Boast all you want... just remember those words when you see what I can do." The First would respond, refusing to give her too much information about the kind of things that she would be up against unless she needed to. "Forsake power? Alright... you win this little exchange of words because I can't just let that one pass... I suppose that I have to give you that valuable information you love so much. Power is a tool, a means to an end. If I wish to slam a nail into a board I don't forsake a hammer. Power may be nice on its own, but the important thing is what I will DO with that power. Power is a burden? No... Power is a tool. You may be terrified that the forge will burn you, but that doesn't mean that a proper smith needs to fear the forge." Though once again the First would quickly put on an act when Deva mentioned something. "Servants? Those are my allies. They don't serve me, perhaps they serve Mistress but even that has been put into question now." She would say, just in case Mistress was watching her or in case there was some sort of recording going on for her. Then she would inwardly curse herself for not taking the time to just immediately deal with the angel, and now she was starting to reach a point where the angel was becoming legitimately annoying to deal with.

"A cut? On me? Since I've taken the rank of the First, I've never had a single strike land on me without me intending it to. I. Invite. You. To. Try." She would smirk underneath her helmet, acting truly cocky for the first time that this encounter had started. The power gap between the First and the Second was far more than any other gap between agents, and because of that she had never been truly hit, never a strike landing without her letting it happen. When Deva moved forward for a 'hug' she would find the First acting how the angel had predicted, a cold metal grip holding her and slamming her to the ground, the woman waiting for Deva to sink into the ground considering her power. "Oh for fuck's sake... Singing? Really? I outlawed non-government approved singing in my Story so long ago... It's like you're trying to make me enjoy crushing you." She would complain, still not sounding all that angry considering how serious things were getting around her. The shadow fist flying at her wouldn't even surprise her, moving too fast to see as the fist flew right by, though Serp unfortunately wouldn't give it a fist bump. He was still too concerned and too serious of a person to indulge in those kinds of things, especially considering that he didn't know that it would invigorate him. Then her fist would miss and slam into a wall, and said wall would crumble from the strike as the First seemed just a little more annoyed at being unable to hit Deva. Which left her open for Fey's fireballs, to which she would just turn to look at them and watch as they struck her suit, the linings growing orange again and she would then turn and just launch more fire directly at Azalea, her armor and plants that came with her catching flame. Though she would get slightly more frustrated by being unable to hit Deva, while she in turn would dodge anything that Deva tried to hit her with, only allowing the fire from Fey to hit her.

She would keep trying to fight in a way that she wouldn't put herself in danger, trying to strike Deva without risking herself, but because of the angel's random movements and proficient speed, she just couldn't manage to land a strike without keeping herself completely safe. The summons wouldn't slow her down enough though, as her suit absorbed fire and could send it right back, Azalea's plants couldn't hold on or fight the strength of the suit, Neith had attempted to send spiders to sneak under the suit, but the moment that the spiders came into contact with the suit they would seem to go stiff and fall over, looking dead, which in turn meant that Neith would immediately stop sending her family to try and help stop the First. The Swarm Avatar tried to hit the First with her own magic, but at the same time it still wouldn't be fast enough to land. It seemed that Serp wouldn't be the only one to be serious in this scenario, as Isa would still seem frightened and worried despite how good Deva was doing, and part of that was the memories of being choked out by someone that powerful. The ice mage wanted to cheer or help Deva in some way, but this was starting to seriously get to her, knowing that the First not only had the power to easily harm everyone here, but the mentality to be able to do it, which the First would show once again.
"Alright... enough... you want to play this game? Fine. I don't HAVE to take the initiative. YOU will run out, but if you keep feeding my batteries then I won't. So now it's my turn to avoid properly fighting you..." The First would suddenly appear next to Isa, lifting her up and thrusting her arm blade straight through the ice mage, eliciting a piercing scream from the mage, as the First aimed the blade to not cut anything too vital, but still cause intense pain. Then she'd drop Isa onto the ground and turn to Deva, uttering a simple command. "Heal her." Then she'd just as quickly be next to Serp, pushing him to the ground face down effortlessly, then stomping her foot straight into the shadow mage's spine, a sickening crunch sounding out as he once again shouted in agony, to which she'd look right back to Deva. "Heal him." And if she left Isa for even a moment after healing her, the First would be there again, this time grabbing her hand and just breaking her fingers, turning and ordering the exact same thing. "Heal her." And if Deva didn't give her a chance to get close to Isa, she would instead find some other bystander and cause some other painful injury to them, ordering Deva to heal them right afterwards. "I'm sure you know there are fates far worse than death. If you refuse to face me head on, then I will make those close to you suffer, simple as that. You get three choices. Let them die by my hand, Heal them and force them to suffer through pain again and again, or FIGHT ME SERIOUSLY!" She would command, growling a bit. Though really... it wasn't just some type of sadism that was causing her to do this, it was a form of strategy. A serious opponent she could understand, she could read, her suit could analyze and figure things out, but an opponent that was moving around randomly, she couldn't make a strike without taking some type of risk. Plus... at least from what she had been told and what she had seen so far, Deva had a limited amount of times that she could do certain things, meaning that she could force her to exhaust her supply just by making her care about others. Deva seemed to get better as she got less serious, the First got better the more and more serious that she could get. If Deva wasn't going to properly deal with her, then she would punish her by punishing everyone else. It was a militaristic strategy really, punish one by punishing all, make the pain inflicted on others the fault of the one that gets far less pain.

"Now get over here and fight me properly before I tear every part of this apart. Fight me, and let me show you just how futile your efforts are. Were it not for the Tome my power would rival Mistress herself, and if I must become this violent just for the sake of defeating you then I will do what is necessary. So fight me, and learn that there are some things that you just won't be able to stop. NOW!" She commanded, again sounding like she was used to giving orders and others listening to her. Meanwhile... Deva would hear a voice in her ear that she would instinctively know was her Tome, speaking with her. It was a feminine voice that the angel wouldn't really recognize, but it seemed like it had something that it urgently wanted to tell her. "Deva... I SEE her... I mean... I see her for real... She's not just words to me... not exactly... She's flickering back and forth. Like, one moment I see the words, then the next moment I see the armor and suit looking real to me... I've never seen something like that before. I felt that you should know that, in case it might help you."

"Death will not be the fate of you." Deva responded calmly, keeping two fingers lifted on her left hand. Perhaps, despite the ease with which she used it, this spell was quite taxing to control fully. "And while my Ius Victoria can hold great power if used wisely, it could not match the Macabre Dance, not all acts of it combined. You should have listened, when I asked you to stop Narcissus." She then focused on Lucifer. "Almost right.. I'm frankly, too cowardly to kill even you." Though she nodded along with Lucifers deduction thus far, she seemed to again prove her wrong.. of course, how could she stop the rebellion without bloodshed?

"Hooh! Fascinating!" Deva exclaimed, tilting her head and watching the first. "What kind of movement is that? You know, if I can't hit you, I'm in a bind, ha ha!" She cheered, still seeming.. well, cheery, for now. Deva was at a disadvantage, in that her lesser illusions usually only used three senses, sight, sound and touch. .. that was enough for most foes, after all. So the head-signature seeking could easily see through all but Morphea.. That kind of magic had been designed to fool almost any sense, for a brief moment. However.. both Devas were equally real. The only difference was that one of them had a bit more heat coming out from open wounds.. which disapppeared with a healing. Both Devas.. were somehow real.

"More fascinating, impressive strategizing to cover your lies, of course, you still have to deal with me. And besides, you should worry less about what I say and more about how you explain Neith being alive right here and now, after you claimed I killed her." Deva showed both her appreciation.. and her tongue. However, ever so subtly, Deva smiled when the firsts armor had changed.
The fireball sent out by the first simply stopped mid air, shrinking into a tiny, hot glowing ball and caught by Feyline. "Elemental dominion: Flame Supremacy. I don't make fire dumb dumb, I control it too." The Phoenix-girl flexed and showed off juggling the tiny fireball, wasting time blasting the first with another, infact slightly hotter fireball, her temper one making her easily provoked. Deva remained silent by comparison, simply.. observing, and counting. Three was not enough.

"Destroyed you, Lucifer? Hahahahahaa!"
"Now, why would I ever do that? I thank you, Lucifer. I relish this opportunity. To forever leave a scar on the very heart of evil itself! And although you may be the weakest incarnation of the lord of hells I have met so far, still, by bringing you down here, before me, you will open the gate for me to wound every lord of hell, on every world, in every reality... not that I'm inclined to do so, I'm sorely aware of the need of a cosmic balance, but very deep in their hearts now I can plant an unknown fear of retribution for their misdeeds. All thanks to you, all thanks to this day! I will not destroy you, that's not what Dance Macabre does.. I will DIMINISH you.

I do not feel fear or hatred facing you, I feel.. triumph. I must contain my joy or I could not contain my power, but know I've prepared centuries just for this very hour. Oh and. I will deal with her first, so that the other demons attached to you will bear wintess and whisper warnings into the wind, a warning that in times of peace, in times of war, all misdeeds must be answered for."
Deva spoke, with conviction.

Narcissus unleashing of the bolts actually quickly shattered mirrors.. many of them, and after only four of them, certainly not enough to defeat one like him, the mirror-sphere had shattered apart, with Deva shrugging. "I guess you discovered this spells weakness.. it can reflect anything.. but only a limited couple of times. And the magic is stupid, can't tell a scratch from a beheading."
Deva had gone into this fight expecting her Danse Macabres weaknesses to be discovered.. but the final act had not yet happened.
Four, Deva thought to herself as the First punched her, only to catch her Morphea, at least briefly slowing down the incredibly fast fighter.
"A forge.. interesting." Deva noted, readying her Ius Victoria. "So your power actually comes from your armor. Let me guess, without the armor, you'd be dead. I understand your reliance on this power, but that is an aid. Do not reach for power beyond what you need." Deva's calm demeanour shone through the veil of playful banter and fighting. "Hoho, you are troublesome! How can I beat you if I can't even scratch you.. then again, a scratch on your armor would be more dangerous than a scratch on your body, wouldn't it? Your own strength is your prison." Deva theorized.
"I'm not trying to do anything.. I'm learning." Deva suggested, when the first became annoyed by singing. "Interesting. Keep feeding batteries. RELEASE SUMMON! Isa! She's weak to the ice element, hence her instantaneous reaction to you." Deva suggested, as Fey suddenly poofed away with a disappointed look. "Interesting interesting.."

"Ahaha.. Oh first one, I am fighting you seriously. By not being serious. But that despicable strategy.. So I understood you right. You have not landed a single attack on me despite your speed, too busy on fighting defensively.. because you cannot deal with random attack patterns. Anyway..." Deva sighed and mused, looking over to her hurt companions. "You think this is the first time my allies are made to suffer for fighting by my side? I know that, unlike me neither you nor the cloaked one have ever tasted the heavy burden of true power, by how thoughtlessly you send your servants to die or worse. The terrible power that comes with being able to command armies that'd willingly die for you, I guess all this time you misjudged, or perhaps it simply didn't occur to you, that I too, put most of my power in my people. However. Against one as brutal as you, I am loathe to use them. Weak old me will have to do. However.. you are not whom I wage true war against, so excuse if I deal with you swiftly and with little mercy. Again, if you only fight for your own power, you can never defeat me. Now you, first one, and you followers of the cloaked one, listen up and listen well!"

Deva intonated:
"From an old poem.. the Cost of the crown.:
Although I am the head of state, in truth I am the least.
The true queen knows her people fed, before she sits to feast.
The good queen knows her people safe, before she takes her rest.
Thinks twice and thrice and yet again, before she makes request.."

She intonated, pressing her hands together. creating an array of shadowy blades, then aiming at the first.. then covering up her eyes, making sure she shot them in a truly unpredictably random pattern. The -other- Deva meanwhile hopped out of Isa's shadow, looking down at her two injured friends, as she began so softly sing on.. knowing it'd annoy the first, if she s

"This is the price of commanding–
That mistakes are signed in red–
And you won’t pay But others may,
And your best may wind up dead"

Deva sang on caressing the pained Isa's cheek in a gentle gesture, while the other Deva .. summoned a swarm of flowers to blast at the First.

"This is the price of commanding–
The deaths that haunt your sleep
You hope they forgive
And so you live
With thier memories buried deep."

Deva raised her hand. And for both Isa and Serp who the first one had wounded, everything became dark, as a swift, merciful cut of a shadow-blade pierced their chests and stopped two hearts.
Deva stared at the first one, her expression hard to read, incredibly pained, with tears in loving eyes, yet unbroken, raising her glaive in a combat-ready stance.

"This is the price of commanding–
That if you won’t, others will.
So take you post, Salute each ghost–
You’ve a debt to them to fill"

She shook her head, informing. "I can even bring back the dead. They might be rattled, they might hate me, but that will be my burden to bear. The only thing you have managed, is to anger me like none other. I was hoping to keep this ability secret for my fight with the cloaked one herself, but.. I have one attack, against which your speed matters nothing. But by all means. Try to inflict pain upon my friends here. It is a healers final duty to end a life if the pain becomes too great to bear, after all." And for the first time ever, for those left standing to see her, Deva's usually gentle face contorted into an expression of hateful anger, as the darkenss that had been engulfing her all slowly crept up into her blade, being collected by the edge, which turned dark, yet ever darker, until it was hard to look at, an inversion of the sun blinding one, a blade that drained lightg itself..

"You're wearing a helmet, which means the armor is partially see through. And that in turn means there's one shadow here that you can't escape. The shadow your armor casts upon your own skin! SHADOW ASSASINATION, FINAL SECRET: Revenge of the Exhibitionist." The other Deva shrugged and commented, to the side. "Best name I could come up with, really." As the blade of Deva's Guisarme, just ever so subtly, dipped to cut the First ones cheek, under the mask. With that, however, all of Deva's shadows were gone.. it seemed that was a final attack, using up a massive amount of darkness-magic, exhaling, and, suddenly, casually chatting.
"I admit, the powers the Cloaked one and her agent posess are truly intimidating. You are on another league entirely.. I could teleport you to an ice-world but chances are, you'd simply flee. Had I never prepared for such an impossible fight, I'd be rather horrified facing you...
However. Once I made my morphea I realized that, well, if I could make such an indomitable defense, such a power that manipualted reality itself, then so could others. So I resolved myself to creating a magic that rather than denying ones fate, would seal it in place.. at the cost of the casters life that is. Later on, I devised a magic that woul basically.. save a second of my time every day I would not fight, collect that time.. and allow me to summon myself, with all the combat abilities I had. Just so you don't feel cheated, I will tell you that this spell takes about a decade to properly recharge.. and is nearing its limit, but before that.. well... I will admit, this spell demands so high a sacrifice of me that I never got to test it, so, I'd like to ask your honest feedback.:"

"..How long do you feel you've been fighting me? To you, does it feel like minutes, days, years?" Deva asked, with a serious expression. "If you could check a clock, I guess it would tell you you've been fighting for months."

Its about time I complete the spell I started the moment Isa hit you with her iceblast. In a way, this is her victory, really." With that, Deva slipped into another shadow, intonating.:
"Heavy is the crown that's always hidden.
Tender is the heart that's never seen.
Strong is the fist that never striketh.
And futile is the act that's never been
You got to greet the sun before his lovely daughter moon.
You can't forsake this journey for the safety of your room.
Until you've learned your lesson well.
By all the stars that ever shone, by all gods known and unknown!
With all the darkness you have shown, I will not see you on a throne!

Trump Zero.: The Downfall of Cause and Reason."

, a rift opened up in the dimension close to them and a woman would step through. Her suit was sleek, form fitting, but at the same time it seemed made of some type of shining metal. A mask covered her face, and the suit seemed incredibly advanced, levels and levels above any technology that Deva had likely seen.

The summoned Fey however grinned, noting the seriousness in Deva's tone.. and snipped her finger, a giant pillar of fire suddenly engulfing the first, while Fey titled her attack: "Mighty melting mayhem!"

"If I get a cut in on you, I'll place you under a condition to color your armor pink first thing in the morning." She grinned, more devious than dangerous, extending her arms for a hug, a cold metal grip holding her and slamming her to the ground, the woman waiting for Deva to sink into the ground considering her power, while Deva sang:

"Listen First One, listen well,
And yes, talking like this could be part of a spell
Your schemes demise is now at hand,
This will become your final stand."

While the first one sucessfully dodged all of Deva's attacks.. but couldn't get counters in either, due to her unpredictability. Even if Fey could capture her fireball, until she was unsummoned that was.

"I'm actually so much stronger than you,
Though I guess you wont believe that thats true.
All the pain you've caused was purely pointless
So I hope that you will not enjoy this."

She enthused, even as the first rushed to punch her, triggering her morphea, allowing her to narrowly dodge the attack.

"I have power you can't understand or measure,
So I wont even let you have the pleasure
of you believing that you could ever defeat me,
While I'm fighting you oh so carefree."

The angel kept on singing, annoyingly, until The First would suddenly appear next to Isa, lifting her up and thrusting her arm blade straight through the ice mage, eliciting a piercing scream from the mage, as the First aimed the blade to not cut anything too vital, but still cause intense pain. "Heal him."

Deva shook, her head. "You think this is the first time my allies are made to suffer for fighting by my side? This is the price of commanding– The deaths that haunt your sleep
You hope they forgive And so you live With thier memories buried deep."
She shook her head, raising her hands and mercy-killing ther two injured friends.

Sadly, quickly realized that such a spell would demand an enormous sacrifice to work on even the most powerful foes...

"..How long do you feel you've been fighting me? To you, does it feel like minutes, days, years?" Deva asked, with a serious expression. "If you could check a clock, I guess it would tell you you've been fighting for years.."

The first one was hit by an ice-blast from Isa. She broke Serps hand. "I'm actually so much stronger than you,
Though I guess you wont believe that thats true."
The angel managed to scratch her using up all of her shadow powers, then, intonated a strange spell..
"If you could check a clock, I guess it would tell you you've been fighting for several decades.."
...
The portal opened. Fey burned her with a fire pillar. She punched the angel, but the illusion-magic took the strike, for now.
"If you could check a clock, I guess it would tell you you've been fighting for over a hundred years."

The portal tore open. The first had a strange sense of deja-vu. There was an iceblast coming. But that distraction allowed her to be hit. The angel was about to hug her. She punched her. The annoying singing..
"fighting for almost a thousand years."

She broke the ice-mage, dodging Deva's illusion magic. The angel mercy-killed her injured friends, before turning to her,.

"..How long do you feel you've been fighting me? To you, does it feel like minutes, days, years?" .. ...
"I have a better feeling for it, because I know what this spell does. Actually, I think, by now you've started to feel it, haven't you? You understand, right? You are way too powerful. I know I can't win in the end, so.. eh. Bad loser that I am, I'm not allowing this fight to end. Even if you try to change things around, this final illusion will readjust itself, no matter what power you use, I have set a chain of events that will always happen, ending with me activating my spell and resetting the chain. The few minutes of our fight, replayed unto eternity. Even if you could set all stars and all worlds ablaze before, now you simply lack the opportunity to do so, even if you could break my illusion now, you can't.. because you did not do it when I first cast my spell, so many years ago... and yet, right now."

Deva shrugged. "I wont lie, there is a small chance you find a way to break out of this AND travel back to the beginning of the causal loop but if you did, that could release me too. A me.. that has fought you enough times to know exactly how to defeat you, or at least fight you to a stalemate. Welcome to your self-made prison. I can't defeat you.. but I can make sure you will never win.
This spell was created if I ever met someone so much more powerful than I, that destroying them would not just be impossible.. it would be a waste. Just looking at what your abilities did to Valerie, you could become an amazing force for good. And yes. I can end this spell anytime I want, as soon as I've managed to convince you that your path to power is not the right way. However, I took a few decades to try and question you.. I don't have high hopes for a long while. So, now, our time to talk is used up, the established chain of events has to run its course."

"We've fought here for ten thousand, we'll fight a million more
As long as it saves all my friends, I'll keep up with this chore.
The Downfall of Cause and Reason."

That was, what happened to the First at least. To everyone else, things were different. One of the Deva's suddenly disappeared, fading into nothing, while the First.. turned to stone. A stone which Deva approached, putting an arm around its shoulder and musing, explaining: "My most powerful illusion. An illusion that can't be seen through, can't be avoided, can't be escaped... unless the one trapped within it fullfills the conditions I set when using the illusion... in her case, giving up on her search for power for the sake of protecting others. Or, to put it more simply, the First is going to outlive us all, as she indubitably hoped.. but not in the way she was hoping for. The truth is, I don't know a single spell that is designed to kill its target. Even this, my most powerful spell doesn't kill." Deva exhaled, looking down at her two slain friends with a regretful expression.

"Sorry. This was the only way to stop her from hurting you. Circle of Salvation." Deva intonated, both Serp and Isa shimmering as both of them found themselfs, well, waking up.. a little exhausted, but back int he land of the living. "There we go.. Sorry.. but.. she'd just hurt you more.. " She avoided eye-contact with Isa and Serp, as her guisarme tumbled out of her hands.
"D.. damn.. it.. Fun fact.. that circle was another spell beyond the power.. this.. body can.. actually.. endure..

But .. I'm not.. done.. yet.."
Deva looked over to the three remaining members of the rebellion, stumbling over to them, her shadow aura gone, her guisarme reverting back into a broom, the angel panting ever so softly, her expression no more skillfully masked, was one of a tired, lonely old warrior, pointing at the three.

"Dance Macabre, Actum Tertium: Cecide in albem et regeneratione in caelesti samsara" She intonated. Final act: Fade to white, and into the heavenly circle of life and rebirth. The overwhelming pressure of their own energy disappeared.. and the puppets began shrinking away, returning to just plushies..As Deva clasped her hands together, and the strings upon the three became fully real, their skin whitening ever so subtly as a cloth-like substance brushed over them.
The first that happened, was that the possessed body of Lucifer, with the six remaining demons was expelled. While each of the three that remained in the spell.. felt their powers.. fade away, accompanied by Deva's, heavy breathed,

"A wake of devastation, will not be tolerated
Your threat without foundation, will be eradicated
Defend our own existance, from evils pure persistance
and if our spirits falter, we face the devils altar."

And as Deva went on, Narcissus found his body shrinking, quicker and quicker, turning.. into a cute angel-plushie (with a slightly grumpy expression.. fully aware of his surroundings as she plopped onto the ground, devoid of powers. Mortema was next, having fought less desperately, but all the while, she had used up so much power, she had run out of enough to resist the final act, turning into a grumpy monstergirl-plushie as she left the mirror dimension.

Lucifer, was last. True to her word, she was likely the most powerful, however, her ability to posess someone, her hellfire.. and a good chunk of her power, that which had been used to empower her aura before.. was just.. gone. As Deva explained:
"My Dance Macabre is an illusion within an illusion, a nightmare, sure but all to hide the most powerful sealing spell I could ever create, so powerful it needed it's own dimension with different laws to function properly. You were trapped in a dimension that does not simply seal away the power you have used, it removes the very potential of that power to exist forever."
" It's not that I can banish your demonic aura and break your posession, rather, never again, will you have a demonic aura. Never again will you control
another persons body to do your bidding!"

She declared, panting still, then grinning, ever so subtly. "However, if you are good at theatre classes.. you'll know that a good Drama has five acts.. I was never good at drama.. " Deva shouted. While her first two acts were hard to activate.. the follow up spells build up on that ground-work and required only her command.. though she swayed as she gave the command, holding her head.

"Actum.. finalem.. Restitutio Sancto." Fourth act, the holy restoration. Deva mumbled, picking up the grumpy angel and monstergirl plushies... figuring the remaining Demons and weakened Lucifer were not in the.. mood to stop her. "My Danse Macabre was originally designed to slurp up the very souls of those trapped within, to continue growing stronger. I redesigned it however. Was a bad phase. Instead... it nurtures your power.. however, it places an irresistable complusion upon you.. in that you can never again use it to benefit yourself. Now, you may loathe me, little plushies, but you are not.. I.. *cough*" Deva coughed, growled slightly and then lifted Narcissus plushie first,

"Narcissus. I'll send you as a mascot to a freakshow, to be with people ugly on the outside and pretty on the inside. You'll be trapped as doll forever, your powers used to bring them a blessing of good health and protection.. until you learn what true beauty is!" She shouted, the plushie disappearing, then, she looked over to Mortema. "You, meanwhile, will become the beloved heirloom of a human family. cherished, dressed up, your hairs brushed, given from mother to daughter. And until the very day you learn to love humans like they love you, your darkness shall be their secret shield!" And Mortemas disappeared as well, with the angel finally focusing on Lucifer.

"Now finally.. to you. Don't you worry. You can still be the villain you were. I wont punish you at all. I don't need to. You have six siblings that I'm sure.. wont mind taking your position." Deva smirked, raising her finger. "Oh don't worry. I will not leave you helpless. There is one who wields the powers you lost." Deva pointed at the girl Lucifer had posessed. "Though I'm afraid, you can't use any of your powers to tempt her.. you'll have to befriend her.. if ever she forgives you.. or find what your six siblings would do to you, given the chance." Deva smirked, imbuing the girl with what she had taken from Lucifers powers.. which would also mean the demons posessing her would struggle to keep in control.
"As for you six.. I'm Deva. These people are under my protection. Many devils, demons and fiends have tried to hurt those close to me." Deva smirked. "Want to find out what happened to them?" At this point, she might as well be bluffing. The original Deva had used up -all- of her epic spells, all of her trumps.. or had she? Her hand reached out to clasp her necklace, wearily.
"I see you are undecided. You could perhaps kill me and Lucifer, right here oh what a price I would be.. so.. who wants to try first?.. hmnn? Who would rather retreat for now and not find out if I'm bluffing? Oh, right.. you are ancient evils, you are likely smart enough to have realized, remembered the power of the cloaked one.. and I have not even used my little tome here." Deva tempted. She had one final trump card. That 'first trump' of her fighting randomly had just been her acting. Though she was loathe to use it.. it would leave her utterly exposed to the cloaked one, short of the one spell she had been developing recently.. and that was untested. So she pulled up her tome in the other hand, releasing her necklace. "Those demons annoy me. also, send the girl and Lucifer back to where they came from. Also..." She chuckled, wandering over to the agents of the cloaked one.

"I told folks, I don't need the help. Not against overwhelming power., untempered by mercy. The wicked never understand those who make sacrifices. This started out as me wanting to impress Miss.. Valerie, by giving a display of my full powers. Hah.. might have overdid it a little.. Though I don't run out of tricksies easily... For now you should prepare to return to the Cloaked one. Tell her what happened here. Take Azalea. She was part of the rebellion, but will serve as my ambassador. I got rid of this rebellion because they were the greater evil, this does not make us allies. Look around at the broken world your mistress has created. She has a lot to answer for, no matter her intentions. We are still enemies... regrettable as that may be. Heh. Stop looking at me like that.. You think I did this as a favour to you? I used up my power and in exchange I just took out number eight, three and one of the agents.. haah.. only a handful left unknown to challenge me and only the second sounds really scary, right now." She looked at Valerie, then the others, then smirked, challengingly.. though, with how exhausted she was, her mask was kind of cracked and it was pretty obvious she only acted hostile so they'd not feel bad for her. Exspecially looking at Valerie, there was a badly hidden yearning as she admitted:
"If you must have a rematch I'd really rather want to fight you proper,. without having to use my these terrible spells the wicked ones made me create, or summons.. or.. ok trickery is my thing.. but oww.. just my shadow aura, limited version to deal with the consequences, and my brooms full strength." She grinned, though, again, with how weakened she was after the extensive fighting, that grin could be read by sharp eyes as a subtly hopeful request for approval, .. with a touch of lingering desire. After several encouraging slave- conditionings, even without being directly enslaved by her, Deva's heart beat faster just looking at the mighty fiery wolf. A part of her exhausted self wanted to rather just stop worrying, be held and please horny dog-cock. N.. no that was no good.. she had to focus.. but how..
Creatively-submissive as always, and, with the swarm reawakened with her summoning she relaxed, thinking.. hmnnnn it's alright swarm. I know you're still in my head. I'll not attack the link outright anymore, now that there's no need to hide information to take the rebellion down.. plus I think you have no interest in those dangerous spells of mine.. they have too high a cost. So with that understanding I allow you to link my slavemind up fully again.. though I'm afraid that's pointless.. I'm pretty much a slave of the wolf-Valerie.. I'll propably just become her bitch, unless the swarm-master in my mind can help guide me to focus on something else..
She thought, subtly forcing her eyes not to wander over the wolf-womans athletic, dark body. She -had- proven herself, had defeated the rebellion, but she had well hidden darker suspicions about something still being amiss yet. Perhaps she could avoid falling compeltely for the mighty, feral, virile...

She closed her eyes for a brief moment.. how could she tempt the swarm.. well, she had tempted other dominants before.. you just had to... Or do you think Valerie would just be better at helping my loneliness? I may be your opponent, but I never lied about that.. I am lonely. I guess such a mighty, feral, wonderful... It was genuinly hard to focus with Valeries feral form before her. Deva just had to hold out long enough to stall the wolf and the swarm.. technically, the cloaked ones agents were on hostile territory, after all, and she could de-summon the swarm .. Valerie on the other hand had been called by Narcissus, so how she could come and leave, the angel did not know. Well, such a mighty alpha could just.. Wait, that wasn't what she wanted to focus on..

The First would simply look at Deva, not deigning her question worth an answer, especially when she knew that Deva would be able to use the information against her. It would be better for her to just not tell the angel how her movement worked, as every bit of information was a valuable and powerful weapon that she refused to easily give up. "Lies? What lies? I see your cruel illusion, trying to hurt me by pretending a beloved ally is attacking me. Or perhaps you've raised her from the dead, you monster!" She would say, acting as though she was still completely innocent in this situation. She had prepared her lies and cover stories far ahead of time, and something like this was just another aspect of her plan, or more accurately the plan that both she and Lucifer had worked together to try and cover any possible scenario. The suit would once again absorb the fire, not seeming to be all that affected by the heat hitting her, and in fact the First would return to her mocking voice now that she saw she was getting under Fey's skin. "Wow... Is it cold in here or is it just me? Deva, would you mind summoning an ACTUAL fire mage into this battle so we can get some heat in here? This one apparently can't even manage the heat from a birthday candle if this is any indication." She mocked, seeing if she could get some more flames coming in to empower her suit even further.

"Yes yes yes... You've got your whole heroic speech thing going on, just get on with it darling. Defeat me and claim your victory, congratulations, I am defeated and diminished and all that. Congratulations on defeating the Prince of Hell, I'm sure that all the other demons will be absolutely terrified by your tremendous victory here today." Lucifer would comment, seeming not slightly worried about the fact that she wouldn't be able to win this, surprisingly calm when it came to being defeated like this. "I am serious about the congratulations though. You've played the game quite well. I am impressed, so excellent work on defeating me." She would say, wrenching control of her body back once again in order to... simply bow to Deva before standing up and simply smiling calmly as things happened around her.

"My power comes from my armor, yes, though you miss a few things when you ONLY think my power comes from my armor. I doubt one such as you would understand the science behind it. But I have also taken some nanite injections and trained myself to peak physical condition. So no, I would not be completely destroyed without my suit, it would just be a major hindrance." She would explain, willing to give that detail up as she didn't like the thought that she was completely useless without the suit. When told, Isa would immediately fire an ice blast at the First, who wouldn't even move, simply letting the ice hit her, causing the suit to suddenly glow a light blue instead of the orange it was glowing before. "An excellent deduction, but it assumes that my suit was actually attuned to fire, and not just elemental damage. This is the power of science, magic, holy power, and thousands of other powers all boiled into one suit, the powers of an entire universe all dedicated to making ONE person even more powerful. Let's see if you can actually keep up." She would taunt, still moving too fast to be properly hit, keeping elusive, only annoyed by the fact that she couldn't land as many direct strikes as she would have liked. "Despicable? It is simple tactics. If you won't fight me, then I will MAKE you fight me. And you are foolish to say that I haven't commanded armies that would willingly die for me, I've commanded forces willing to put their lives on the line time and time again."

She would fight defensively still, dodging and protecting as Deva just continued with her annoying singing. Though when she finally did see Deva's 'answer' the First would actually have to stop for a moment and just look at Deva. Then the angel would hear a mocking laughter as the First laughed at her ending Serp and Isa's suffering, still dodging and weaving, but somehow having the focus to laugh, even clap a little bit in response. "Oh how wonderfully cruel... Killing them to deny me the advantage? You can sell it as being 'merciful' but there were better options than just cold blooded murder. Ha... If I had known that you'd be so willing to kill your allies this could have been so much easier. I could have just had you murder all the witnesses instead. This has already been far more interesting than I would have expected... That's even worth the annoyance if I'm being honest." The First would say, taking a sick enjoyment out of causing Deva to do these sorts of things.

Though when Deva started preparing something, talking about the helmet, the First would go completely silent and immediately start charging at Deva, rushing towards her, superhuman speed once again coming into play. Unfortunately she was still moving cautiously, as rushing in to stop her from using the shadow cut would be pointless if that same rush meant she'd get hit anyway, which meant that there was no way for her to avoid the cut on her cheek, rage filling her at the thought of even being struck by that. "Death is too good for you... I'm going to smash your spine into a million pieces, repair it all and do it again..." She would threaten, apparently the thought of even having been struck once making her VERY sadistic. "How long? Mere minutes... And barely even that." Is what she would answer on the very first loop...

As the First stepped out of her portal, her suit would blare an alarm, before a robotic voice would leave the suit for everyone to hear, one that definitely didn't belong to the First. "WARNING: TEMPORAL ANOMALY DETECTED! WARNING: TEMPORAL ANOMALY DETECTED!" The suit would declare, and the First would simply stop in place and think for a moment, looking back and forth... "You clever little bitch... Nothing seems off to me... Probably a fucking time loop... Sneaky little bitch must have 'won' our first battle somehow..." She would mutter to herself before looking around some more, and then acting mostly in accordance to the loop, however whenever the loop restarted the suit would once again warn her of the loop, causing the First to enact the same line about noticing the loop happening. Though after enough runs through the loop she would start to realize much quicker what was going on, and the incredible thing was that she would change her tactics up every time against Deva, showing new powers again and again, until she realized what was going on and would... purposely repeat most of the loop. At some point she would understand that she was giving this potential Deva too much information about the powers that she had, and until she was sure she could break from the loop it would be better to just re-loop her strategies and not give anyone the experience of fighting her. "I must admit this is a clever way to 'fight' me, though it's quite cowardly. Can't fight me so you refuse to even face your consequences? A shame. I wonder how many of these people I can hurt again and again and again in this loop though, that'll be pretty fun." She taunted, taking her own petty strategy if she couldn't win. Sure it would all be undone, but it was quite real for them WHEN it was happening. "If you've talked with me then you need to realize something... The more times this loops, the more I'm going to NOT want to become 'good'. I would rather tear this insufferable universe to bits than use MY power to help anyone else. Selfishness creates innovation, power, intelligence. I am better than the peons that I crush, and as such it is my right to crush them, use them, dispose of them, toy with them, whatever I desire. My path to power is correct, but you're right, ENOUGH... Loop it all over again, I think I'm going to torture the little Fairy this time... I do wonder how easy it is to rip those wings off." The First would taunt, even after thousands of loops being just as stubborn, just as unwilling to help anyone else as she was the first time, and still being just as petty and sadistic when it came to harming those around Deva as a punishment.

Isa and Serp would suddenly come back to life, the both of them seeming extremely confused, though as they came to properly, Serp would merely look relieved to see that things were calming down and the First was gone, but Isa would seem legitimately shaken, not really saying anything yet as she tried to gather her thoughts on what had happened. "Oh dear... I'm going to be one of those? A shame, who knows what will happen to me now. So many souls left untortured, so many enemies without revenge, and a whole story without its true villain. Truly a day to be mourned. Anyway, please do get on with it, I plan to meet my fate with dignity, even though you've designed a fate with so little of it in store." She would say, just waiting for what was about to happen to her. And once she had cast her spell, Lucifer would simply stand and wait, a slight smirk on her face as she was removed from her power over the person she had possessed, just letting everything happen considering there was nothing that she could do anyway. Then the angel would hear other voices, the voices of the other demons as they discussed among themselves as well as with Deva about what they planned to do next. "Well seems we can't win this one, oh don't worry little angel, we have no plans on doing anything to this one." "Though we also won't be going after Lucifer..." "He is the only reason we still live... The only reason we were brought back from the dead. You think brothers don't have loyalty?" "We can wait for his return... He has done too much for us. Besides, if we attack him now, we WILL die in the future, in fact, in the very near future. Our best chance of survival is to simply hide and wait for the day Lucifer's plans come to fruition. He set a plan in motion for centuries, he was patient enough to make everything work, and now we will be patient with him." They would explain, not planning any immediate betrayal. The woman however, a blonde woman that now had the power of demons, would look around, free of possession as she looked at Deva, slightly confused. "Wait... this... I... I can... I can save them! I can do it! Please! Send me back to my story! I need to fix what I've done, I need to save them!" The woman would immediately beg, already being hopeful for the things that she would be able to do with this power, especially now that she wasn't bound to Lucifer's wishes.

"As you wish." Deva would hear from her Tome, and the woman and the other demons would be transported back to her story. "You've proven your point. Though... Had you used me even a little you wouldn't have needed to burn yourself out like this. You are impressive, but please understand that I don't offer help because I think you NEED it, I offer help because I think you can use it... Would you be this hesitant to use your broom or your magic? I am an extension of what you can do, I WANT to help." The Tome would explain, being legitimately impressed by what Deva could do, but at the same time wanting to help her in some way.

Valerie, meanwhile, would look over at Deva, smiling a little bit when Deva tried to put one an air of hostility to try and make this more stand-offish than it currently was. "Or... I could come back to her with Azalea, and a brand new prize to make this whole debacle worthwhile... Looking around... Who would stop me really? Oh I could take you and bend you over RIGHT now... Make you my bitch... Mmmmmmm... You'd be mine completely considering you wouldn't be able to defend yourself..." She would take a few steps closer to Deva, that overwhelming and powerful musk returning to her, that yearning being teased and encouraged as the smell of a proper Alpha filled her nose. And she could see it now, being too weak to put up any resistance to her Alpha, being taken immediately, only able to weakly struggle against the powerful grip of her Alpha, that wonderful scent filling her nose. Though as she got closer and closer to Deva, being right up next to her, she'd lean in, letting Deva get another powerful burst of her thick, heavy musk as she simply whispered. "But I'm not going to. You get to wait and yearn and desire me... You get to WANT to be my bitch, to know that you were so close to being mine, but not get it, not yet. I can't make you my bitch until I earn it... and until YOU earn it. I'm not taking you as my bitch without showing you that I am your BETTER, your ALPHA. So we'll fight again one day, and you'll use every trick you can, and that day I will win. That is the day I will take you, and until then you'll just have to look forward to it." The wolf would taunt, looking her over as she stayed so very close to her.

Deva's plan was smart, the Swarm valued her greatly, and desired to take her. She would even notice the slight look of jealousy on the swarm form's face as Valerie had her fun. But she didn't count on one thing, the Swarm had learned more than Deva had bargained for from their link, and she would actually chuckle and just look at Deva. "Very clever, darling. Trying to pit the two of us against one another so we struggle to control you. It's brilliant, and I admit I am loathe to do it this way... but I can't just let you play us against each other like this. I want you so much, you are so impressive, but it would make me a much poorer Mistress to just play into your plans... So I will lose this battle in the hopes of winning the war, especially since you could just desummon me. Valerie, you owe me one..." She would say, and suddenly Deva's fantasies would feel all the more real, her thoughts about throbbing, wolf-cock becoming so much more vivid, almost as though it were happening before her very eyes. She could almost taste that beautiful and delicious cock, it would be so right. Every time she would try to divert her thoughts from Valerie, the Swarm would simply direct her thoughts right on back. She would be so much better as a proper bitch servicing Valerie's cock, the horny, happy, treasured little bitch meant to spend her days with her Alpha. And whenever she started thinking about those things, the Swarm would encourage it further, making her associate all of those displays with pure happiness and ecstasy. "I wish I could make you another member of my Swarm. A few extra eyes, maybe some more chitinous wings, you'd look lovely. But I'm not playing into your plans... Perhaps when we meet again." She would comment. Then Valerie would grab Deva's head and pull her into a deep and passionate kiss, a pulse of lust, contentment, and pleasure running down her spine, making her whole body tingle with pleasure, it felt so right, to feel that brave and controlling tongue pushing in and holding her in a passionate kiss. Then she'd slowly pull back, a dominant, confident smirk as she looked Deva in the eyes. "Another time, my little Bitch in waiting... Another time... I eagerly await it." She would say, smiling as she faded out along with Azalea and the Swarm, the three of them returning to the Cloaked One after that battle, leaving Deva horny, and just a little frustrated, leaving her wanting more as Valerie left, giving her the promise of being taken another day.

(Changing Deva's harmless brown to a green cause.. they changed the coloring here <.< Tell me if this works for ya. Btw, Swarm, Valerie, Neith and Azalea disappearing makes four!)

Deva simply gave a tired smile at the first ones plannings and Lucifers congratulations. As terrifying as her enemies had been, this devil, this armor, to her, it had always only been a question just how much she'd have to use up to stop them.. almost everything, it had turned out. Still, she was not one to gloat in victory. It was done. But she still felt like the rebellion was a severe symptom.. not a cause.

"In short, you've done everything you could to become more powerful. Methods matter little, the details behind stay the same." Deva mused. One that could not accept their own weaknesses could never break through her Downfall spell of course. It was designed that way.
"So your armor can absorb any power thrown at it, I'd have to hit it with a quick staccato of several kinds of magic, like one generated by a rainbow spell. sadly, I'm bad at that magic... but it doesnt matter. Power alone is meaningless without the determination to use it for something greater than oneself."
She had explained, once more. The spell was designed to try and change the mind of anyone trapped within. Anything else would be too cruel.

Deva watched the armor reporting about a temporal anomaly.. again. "I have not won. Neither have you." Nor would they ever. Between the First exiting the portal and Deva slashing her cheek, that was all the time the two of them had left.
"You can hurt them, a lot. Again and again, over and over. And while you do, they are free. And every time you hurt them, every time you fight, you remind me why I have to keep fighting you. So that this illusion can never become a reality."
Deva explained, another time. "But.. by what you're doing, you too misunderstood the true nature of this spell. It's not just a temporal loop. I could never use time magic. It's all in your head. I control your perception of time itself."
She shrugged softly. She knew the answer of course. Knowing the nature of her spell made it a lot easier to understand 'what was happening'. And as long as the First one was willing to continue her cruelty, she was trapped.
Deva smiled at the first one, Shaking her head.
"So you plan to just inflict more cruelty.." Deva looked at the armored one.

"I'm not more real than a simulacrum. This.. is not real. As I've told you earlier. All the pain you inflict here is purely pointless. A daylight fantasy. But indulge all you wish. Your own cruelty forges shackles stronger than my magic could ever make."
--------------

Deva shrugged at Lucifer. "I'm giving you the dignity you are due. Though this composure.. you truly are of Asmodeus ilk, even in defeat. You can't just live a little, hence you have to ruin others experience of the same." She shook her head. "Oh you lot." She chuckled to the fiends voices too. "What's with your kind and all the scheming. It takes just one brave hero not acting like you anticipate to make centuries turn to naught." Deva then chuckled at the tome.
"Nah, Tomey. I'm afraid I don't like using you, overly, for entirely different reasons. After all, the cloaked one too uses her tome, and look what misery she can inflict. Greater power doesn't make you any less of a fool. It just makes you more dangerous.
I can deal with the distractions myself. You focus on the real problem. Plus. Frankly, I never had a chance to test this spell and was curious. I actually designed it to be a more powerful version of 'Sanctify the wicked' but all I could do was a spell that'd trap those that refuse to forsake their wickedness."

Deva cleared her throat when Valerie put the idea of returning to the cloaked one on the table, shrugging. "What indeed to stop you, except the uncertainty, if I don't have one last ace more up my sleeve." She answered, with a weary smile. "Also, if you so much as hit me too hard right now, I might die. So that'd be a risk as well. I used up several spells above my punching-class and.. hohoho.. bad idea that!" She happily admitted to the mighty werewolf. Deva gasped at the scent, but, subtly, one hand wandered into her poket, just because she could, pulling out the little case,.. now with only two feathers left in it. Sure, Deva enjoyed the submission, but she was also in a bit of a fight-or-flight mode, right now.
Though, as Valerie continued to approach, Deva bit her lips, blushing, letting go of the feather-tokens, subtly, unconsciously almost exposing her vunerable neck to the alpha as she listened on to Valeries.. plans. "T.. that sounds promising." She noted, exhaustedly, with a flush to her cheeks, one hand grasping to her chest, almost maiden-like, as the mighty wolf whispered to her.

"Tzzk. I forgot you are a quick thinker too." Deva sighed at the swarms quick realization of her plan. Too many minds, linked together... but then she actually smiled softly as well, moaning at the swarms imagery painted in her minds, panting, biting her lips, yearning for the sight, the touch, the feel of those fuzzy-sheathed, feral, red and knotty wolf-cocks, knowing she had lost, she closed her eyes, letting her mind focus on the lewd sights and images, until the beauty of a dog-cock was nicely engraved i her mind.. She imagined herself with subtle wolfish traits.. not too bestial, just befitting a bitch, moaning ever so softly at the idea. Doggie-cocks were just so .. happy and beautiful, they caused her mouth to water.. The swarm spoke again, but Deva was half distracted at the wolfish thoughts. Multiple eyes? How'd that work?
Well.. she'd not mind belonging to someone, being someones pet, right now.. but most of all, Valeries, most clearly. She found herself leaning into the kiss, mewl-moaning eagerly, just wanting to drop onto all fours or knees and nuzzle up to and submit to Valerie, biting her lips, but standing tall, until the beautiful werewolf had faded away, that was. At that point she whispered, barely audible, yet with yearning: "a... alpha..", but Valerie was gone, leaving Deva to whimper ever so softly in frustration at the loss, until she caught herself..

"Everyone.. always.. needs saving, don't they?" She sighed, putting an arm around the statue of the first, leaning heavily into it.
Deva squinted her eyes... "Plus, I used up almost all of my power... " she turned onto the first one's statue. She chuckled. Her hand reached out. She could take that strange sentient armor the first one had used. She'd be powerful.....
Her hand froze up, then landed on the first ones shoulder, a shadow floating up on her, engulfing her, before fading away. "Putting this somewhere where no one can get to it."

She bit her lip. The combination of dark rebellion and lewd werewolf-teasing at the end had quite exhausted her. She closed her eyes. Such evil could not go unanswered. And the Cloaked one had made it all possible. "Yeah.. I'm going to have a long, very long nap. Tomey.. bring me somewhere comfy and summon pillows and then some more pillows. That's what I get for cleaning up someone elses mess." She nodded, just burrowing herself into the pillows, weary, exhausted, quickly asleep with little regards of her surroundings, clinging to the pillow.. dreaming of the pillows being lesser wolfs in the pack, accompanying her. Even with that first dream fading, she was just too exhausted to have bothered to remove the swarm-parasite, right now...

Deva would sleep a quite impressive time, even if disturbed, awakening several days later.. quite hungry.

(Yeah, green is fine, I've been trying to pick colors as well. And forgot that Neith was there... somehow... I am the observant)

"I just wished to be of use. But I suppose that it is ultimately up to you, so if you'd prefer not to then I can continue serving the other purposes you have me for." The Tome would agree, seeming as though it was both a bit disappointed to not be helping, but also really surprised as it had not seen anyone so willing to NOT use the amount of power that it could bestow. "I would note, however, that the misery she can inflict is only from her choices in the matter. To be fair, you could cause quite a bit of misery yourself if you so wished. Either way, I suppose that you have the final say in this matter." It wouldn't argue any further, not wanting to make things even more difficult for Deva after seeing everything that she had just went through. It was actually extremely impressed, even after seeing some of the things that its previous wielders could do, this was still incredible to it, seeing someone overcome someone with that much raw power.

Valerie would take a few more moments with Deva, enjoying the teasing, essentially toying with her prey. Though the werewolf would look over to both Neith and the Swarm Avatar and give them both a thankful smile, able to tell that the two of them had played a large part in helping with this. "I know that it's difficult, my Bitch to be. But this waiting, this anticipation building up inside you, this deep and primal yearning will make your eventual surrender all the more exquisite for the both of us. So just you wait for us to have all sorts of fun. I promise I'll be coming back for you. That's the time when I'll take you... And when it happens, I promise you it will make all the wait worth it." Besides, there was no way for her to do this honorably anymore, as Deva was too weakened from this kind of fight. An Alpha needed to prove their dominance and superiority. They couldn't just demand it from those lower than them, they had to make sure that the rest of the pack understood they HAD to follow their Alpha. So with that in mind, she would give Deva a smile, one that showed approval, dominance, and at the same time, just a slight yearning. She desperately wanted to just grab Deva and take her, but she would never be able to call herself an Alpha if she didn't do things the right way. Besides, even without the wolf pack rules, she felt that a proper Mistress had to take her slaves at the right time, they didn't just select an opportunistic moment, they picked the RIGHT moment.

All of that in mind, the agents disappeared, returning to the Cloaked One now that things had calmed down quite a bit. "Of course they need saving, every character needs things, otherwise stories would be so much harder to form. Something has to drive the stories, and it can't ALWAYS be conflict. But that's beside the point... Get some rest, you've earned it after this one." The Tome would advise, showing concern for its wielder, wanting her to get some time to rest after such a tough battle with some of the most despicable villains that the Tome had ever seen. It would bring her to a room absolutely filled with soft, warm, comfy pillows so that Deva could get some proper rest, not even realizing just how long that rest was going to be.

Deva would wake up in a rather regular looking room, with pillows all over the place. However, the first sight that she'd see when she woke up was Isa, sitting down on a chair in the corner of the room, looking at the angel and perking up. "You're awake?! Oh thank goodness! We thought that you were in a lot of trouble... Hold on, I'll go get the others!" Without waiting for Deva, Isa would rush out of the room quickly, not stopping since she knew how worried the others were for her. The Tome had just transported her into one of the comfier rooms of the Lands In Between and just filled it with pillows for her comfort, though that also meant that the others knew of her predicament and from the sounds of it had been worrying about her. A more pressing matter might be on Deva's mind though, as she could smell food on a table at the other side of the room. There were fresh baked sweets, warm looking rolls as well as delicious looking cookies and other bits of candy and sweets. The people of the Lands in Between had been making her food in case she woke up, figuring that the angel would be hungry after being out for so long. There would be enough time for Deva to dig in to a good few of the sweets before the door to her room would open and quite a few people would walk in.

Serp, the Illusion Goddess, and the Fairy all came into the room, looking concerned, Serp was even holding Deva's tiny spiderling that had tried waking her up but then thought that she was in trouble so it had run to the other people to get their help. Then, following behind them was... Narcissus' wife? But unlike before, her eyes were nowhere near as empty and she wore a relieved smile like the other people gathered around. Serp would be the first to speak up. "Hooh... I was terrified that you had been seriously hurt, or worse. Thank the Goddess you're ok... I'd have never forgiven myself if you had gotten too hurt protecting us." "Oh you were not the only one concerned 'husband'. If I had made this ruse proper then this battle would have never been necessary... I... Am... ahem... glad... I... It is good that you are ok." The Goddess would say, not wanting to come out and say that she was just as worried about how Deva had been hurt. "Nobody was sure where you had gone, not until the Fairy here had seen you snoozing in a bunch of pillows and reported it to us." "At first I thought that it looked comfy there... So I went to take a nap with you. But then i remembered that you were in lots of trouble protecting us and I didn't know how to wake you up. I even tried fluttering my wings on your nose and everything. So I went to find the scary man cause he knew lots of stuff! And he had the fuzzy spider! But he couldn't talk to spiders and so he just took care of it for a while until I came in and told him about you! That was also when I learned I can talk to spiders! YEY! And now you're okay and we're all rescued and you're the best! Thanks so much! I'm totally gonna remember this one, which is crazy because I don't remember most stuff!" Then the fairy would salute, glad that Deva was ok as well, very thankful that things had worked out for the best. "We decided to watch over you while you slept. I wanted to set up a rotation for who would watch you and when, but Isa wouldn't have it." At that, the Ice Mage would blush a bit and not know exactly what to say. "I... I didn't want to leave your side on this one just in case something happened. The only time I wasn't watching you was when I was getting a little bit of sleep, that's when I left it to the others... Thank you. I mean it. I don't know what would've happened if we didn't have you there..." She would say, giving Deva a smile, clearly not holding anything against her even after everything that she had seen, she still wanted to work with Deva, she was still the angel's friend. "We took to making meals for you for whenever you did wake up. We figured that you'd be hungry. Though our baker was indisposed so we didn't have anything that we could do. That was until the angel's wife offered to bake, apparently she was very good at cooking. We didn't trust her at first, which was why we tested the things that she baked, and she didn't do anything to them, we can promise that." The angel would step forward, looking really worried and not entirely sure about what to say in this situation. "Thank you... I was controlled by My Husb- by Narcissus for so long, I wasn't sure I would ever be free like this again... I... I don't know what to say to you... But... thank you so much... Oh! Also... I don't know as much as Narcissus, but I was often around the Cloaked One and her Agents... I wanted to offer to answer any questions I am able... If you wanted... Really I just wanted to find a way to thank you for this..."

It seemed that they had all been very worried about her in her rest, and had worked together to ensure that she was both safe and comfortable. The group would continue to offer their thanks, all smiling with relief at seeing Deva. Sure, they knew that the war hadn't been won, and that the Cloaked One was still out there, but they also knew that they had struck a major blow against Her, and that Deva had been the reason that everything had worked out like that. They appreciated all that she had done, and they wished that they could find a way to express it even more. "I hate to focus so much on the task at hand, but what next? You being out of commission for a few days must mean that the Cloaked One is working on her plans... Unless she's now checking for any more rebellion members in her midst... Oh... and uh... at some point nearly everyone in town wants to get a chance to thank you... They uh... they saw what you were able to do, and are extremely happy that you helped keep them safe. Especially those of us that were actively fighting that one angel, we saw the power that was against us... I do sincerely mean it when I say on behalf of all the people here... Thank you so much... We are forever in your debt."

(Can use old colors if you quote an older post or just know the code. bleh anyway, bleh I say you. Also, sad spido!)

"The greater the power we wield, the greater precautions we must take... Hmnn.. I can say that better. With great power, comes great responsibility." She pondered. "I think I read that somewhere..." She then shook her head. She needed to find something for the tome to do to make it happy, it seemed.

Deva peeked up at, and then curled up with the closest pillow for extended comfort, even if it felt like her body had healed.. and her mind was used to this wearyness. "Hmnn...?"
Someone was talking about trouble.
When people returned to the rooms, the sweets in their entirety had mysteriously disappered and Deva sat there, with a satisfied-lazy look on her face.
"Oh, I've been seriously hurt, but I'm better now." She didn't want to show weakness before the agents, but all of her arcane spellcasting had been consumed with her spell, up to the very last drop. Deva chuckled slightly at the fairy, touching her nose.
"How many days have I slept.. I'd guess two and a half.." She pondered, waving to the little spiderling. As everyone poured their gratitude on her, she blushed, and scratched the back of her head. "Ehehe.."

"Yeah about that, the bakery goods have all disappeared, I'm going to need new ones." Deva nodded, hiding her relief at Isa's lack of rejection with another joke, while covering herself with a comfy blanket. Unless someone had restored her dress that was, she would have to summon clothing.
Deva shrugsmiled to Narcissus ex. "Well, I've guessed at a few things.. a ta ta.. what to do next."
She shrugged. "I took out the Cloaked ones strongest and third strongest, but the second still bothers me.. as does anyone, really. Tabitha, the Tenth would have been the end of me if she had had more battle experience." Deva mused. "Also, this was not a fight easily won. My shadow-element can be countered by both light-magic AND dark magic, if the user is skilled... the reason I didn't use it until Narcissus let down his guard. Also, I'm afraid, with my arcane spellcasting fed to entrap the First, there'll be no teeporting about the place without the shadows and less illusions." She shrugged. "That said." Deva chuckled, pressing her hands together. Shadows writhing.. and presenting the two little swarm-worms, before they disappeared. "Sent our little.. friends back home to mommy. I don't need peeker-ins for that next bit."

"All that stuff was just weighting me down anyway. I'll prove it to ya. As is my Dance Macabre, and Phoba.. All this insane power." Deva grinned. "Tomey. Take all of my known epic spellcasting and convert it into pure energy... well except the rain of life, Phantasma and Morphea, Those three I like. Also, let's integrate my morphea and my shadow powers." She grinned. "And yes, I'm sure about that. Thing about muscles is, they cost effort to use, all that weight, all that effort.. plus, tomey will need a little juice to go through my little planning."
She grinned.
"As for what we do?" Deva shrugged. "Why, steal ideas, of course." Deva lifted her tome, holding a hand over it, pages beginning to rush through under her hand quicker and quicker, Deva's eyes lighting up as the pages flicked ever faster.
"When the cloaked one too my world, many people would be focused on the anguish, the danger, the utter uselessness of penetrating her reality-shield. I was focused on what she was doing, trying to decipher it. I've repeated the motions she used a few hundred times in my mind, I have little clue how the tomes work, or who made them, but ultimately, their function is similiar to the principle of any reality-altering magic. The cloaked one likely applied it unconciously, at least at first. And that means, they follow the law of least resistance, equilibrium and ..." She looked over to the Fairy, and to a lesser extend, Isa. "You can command a dog to sit or play dead, yet you never need to command them to catch a stick."
She reached her power into the tome, playfully, unafraid, twirling the vast reserves of the tome, guiding it with a calmth and ease. "By my will be formed, by my strength be guided. " She chuckled, a multi-facetted magic circle appearing over the heads of Serp, Isa, Dark godess and Fey.. and herself. "Let's see.. you need the ability to travel between stories.. " Deva twirled her finger and the magical circle readjusted subtly.
"Beyond that.. " A part of the magical circle fell down, alongside each of the four, lighting up and engulfing them in an aura of light, with Deva extending her hands.
"I was never a fan of taking the powerful and giving them more power. I rather take those with potential, and .. hold open the door. It requires far less energy, which means I can give you more." The Seal Deva had created Slammed down, engulfing the four in a blast of energy, leaving them, each individually, momentarily staggered.
"I've given each of you the ability to travel between worlds and develope new abilities, based upon your ability and personality."

"By the way, if we're gonna do rankings, sorry, Isa, you can't be the first. Then again, I didn't link my mind with yours or anything, though I can undo what I just did.. Now then! Time for you to make yourself useful. You want to reclaim your stories? Work on it! Enough hiding in the shadows in between. Serp. You take whoever you need, research those tomes. I need to know their origin.. and if there are any more around. One along is too much trouble... no offense Tomey.. I don't need any strays. Report to me with any updates."

"Fairy.. you with your sneaky potential go and infiltrate the cloaked ones place, cause some mischief, and give me an idea what they're up to. yes, tomey can read that too, but not all of it.. and if the cloaked one is any good at all she'll have plugged that hole in time."

"Evil corruptey godess, You'll pick up my role, disguise as me and go after the next Agent. No.7 is likely to strong for you, but still try. and make sure there are no stray lower rank agents or remains of the rebellion sneaking about.. somewhere."

"Isa? You and me, we're gonna have the most fun job. We're gonna go invading the Cloaked one and smack about her army propers. But first, let's use up some power from tomey." She extended her hand over the tome once more, energy pulsing and the tome felt Deva calling upon itself to restore some long-destroyed constructs of hers.
"One final time, the golden army shall rise, and I shall stand as general of armies of angels, spirits, and beloved knights. And every agent of the Cloaked One shall come to know why once armies surrendered at the mention of my name!" She raised her voice and hand, slamming one hand onto the ground before her, grinning. "Summoning: Spirit of False Hope!"
She chanted, Energy coalescing, into a cute, if slightly unearthly looking female, holding a dark-light and a light-dark orb in a hand respectively and bowing.

"Now then. Let the invasion beg.. .. why is everyone looking at me funnily, I'm doing something dram..

Oh" Deva looked down at herself, blushing ever so softly. Her blanket had fallen open quite a while ago and she had not noticed it in her single-minded focus on her spellcasting. "Errr.. let me fixer upper my dress."

When they saw that Deva had already made her way through the sweets, Isa would give an amused and relieved smile, glad to see that Deva was okay after everything that had happened. "Well the good news is that you're together enough to have the same appetite for sweets..." She would comment, not as worried if the angel was in a good enough mood to be able to munch on some sweets. "It's more like 3 days. Well, I suppose not 3 entire days, more like 2 days and a little bit, not entirely sure on that one..." "2 Days 19 hours and 41 minutes." Isa would answer, having kept a very careful track of the time from the moment that Deva had disappeared, having been worried enough to keep her eye on each passing minute in the hope that the angel would wake up in that time. The tiny spiderling would jump up and down excitedly at seeing that Deva was okay, reaching up one of its legs to wave back at her, its eyes big and clearly happy from seeing its mommy unharmed. Then it would quickly run down Serp's arm, reaching a point where it felt safe leaping off of him... which happened to be halfway down the man's boots. Now safely on the floor, it would rush over to Deva and climb up on top of her, speedily making its way up to her neck and just gently nuzzling against it, showing its own appreciation and gratitude at as well. The ice mage, meanwhile, would take the moment she had where Deva seemed embarrassed about all the praise to hug her, just holding onto her for a moment, not caring that the angel was currently naked, just relieved, her eyes just a little wet after everything that had happened. "I thought you might be gone for good after that... You used so much to stop them... Thank you." She would earnestly say, clearly not rejecting Deva at all after the things that she had seen. "I will say... Narcissus is not always... well... no, he IS always that self-absorbed, but he's never been that cruel about it until recently. I don't know what came over him, but normally he has SOME mercy... Perhaps it is wrong of me to defend him for his actions... as they were absolutely terrible, but even with him controlling me, it wasn't until recently that he started committing truly unforgivable actions." The angel would explain, not wanting to completely defend Narcissus considering that he still did terrible things, but she figured that Deva might be able to make some use of those details, so there was no point in not telling her.

"Oh dear! I didn't think the sweets would disappear! I promise they weren't meant to do that! Oh goodness... I'll bake up another batch! I'm so sorry! Ooooh... You probably think I wanted to pull some terrible prank... I promise I'll make these ones disappearance proof!" Narcissus' wife would panic, apparently not able to pick up on the fact that Deva was just making a joke, instead looking incredibly guilty and apologetic, not sure how her baked food would have just disappeared like that. "That does sound pretty awful! It'd be a funny prank though... A bit mean for my taste, Sweets suddenly not being there is probably the greatest tragedy one can experience! Pretty mean of you if you did that. How'd you make it work though? You don't look like you'd have that kind of magic." The fairy would inquire, apparently believing that joke just as much as the angel did. "I can almost guarantee that the Cloaked One has seen the battle that just happened. If she wasn't watching through the eyes of one of her agents, she was probably given access to the memories of Valerie most likely to see all that you did in that battle. She is quite good at learning about those she has to fight. I've seen her know the entire history of her opponents right before taking them down." Serp would explain, knowing enough about how she operated to guess at things like that. Isa would shake her head a bit when Deva had the swarm-worms now, blushing a bit, close enough to whisper to Deva cause she was also embarrassed about what she had to say. "I think there's still something left over from that whole situation... Cause I feel a little sad to see them go..." She would admit, not wanting to hide things from her partner, especially when Deva proved herself so capable at dealing with almost any situation. Plus she figured that it was important to tell her those kinds of things just in case the angel could find something in there that she could use or if she had to worry about any sort of other problems.

"Ummmm... alright then. One moment, I can convert quite a bit considering the amount of things that you can do already. And there we go, just like that it's done." The Tome would answer, still actually using a woman's voice that Deva wouldn't recognize. "Thank you for that, but really I figure that I am doing just fine with the energy from fixing the Stories... You did not HAVE to do something like that unless... oh you're planning something aren't you?" The Tome would comment, sounding more amused than anything. It had started to at least pick up on certain things with Deva. Usually when it didn't understand why she was doing something, that meant that she had some kind of wildly creative and amazing plan to put into action, so it would be better off not arguing and just hearing what it was she planned to do. And Deva would find that the Tome very easily yielded to what she was doing, being an extension of her will in some extents, the energy moving almost effortlessly to do exactly what she wanted. And at the same time she would feel a connection to the Tome, like she had known it for far longer than she actually had, for the briefest moment, as she tapped into the Tome she would see what it saw in the world, she saw nothing but words floating and coalescing in a large void, even the people around her were words, and as she manipulated the power of the Tome she would see some words changing around Isa and the others, a sentence appearing in their mass of words that simply read "Has the ability to travel between Stories". Then everything would return to normal, and she would be back in the room full of people, looking at the group of them, all seeming a bit confused as to what had just happened. "I remember precisely one thing from my encounter with the Cloaked One, and that was her offering me 'incredible power'. I don't remember why I turned it down, but I'm glad I did. I'd much prefer to be able to learn these kinds of things on my own. Thank you for not just giving me power like what Her agents have." Serp would thank while the rest of them thought about what having this new power even meant.

Serp would actually smirk when he heard his orders. "Oh trust me... I've wanted a chance to get out and do SOMETHING to help get these people home to their Stories." Then he would bow and start thinking about something. "I've got an idea or two about where to start... Let me go gather a few people, as I think we're going to run into something if we try to uncover that kind of history. I'll see what I can dig up, though if the two leads I can think of turn up dry, then I doubt I've got anything left after that. I'll need to prepare though, as one of the places I need to go is visited by the Cloaked One every now and then..." He would explain, already thinking about what he needed to do. The first thing that he would need to do is gather up the notes that he had taken, as this was something that he would need to research for.

The tiny Fairy would give a salute, suddenly standing straight up at attention before giggling to herself and giving Deva a thumbs up. "AYE AYE! Mischief is my specialty! I'll never let them catch me! I'll even make sure to forget loads of details about you and stuff so if they catch me they still get nothing! I think they need more cupcakes in their life! That'll be a fun first trick!" The Fairy would agree before flying around in a circle and heading out the window, wanting to prepare her best hiding spells since the Cloaked One was very good at finding people.

"I'll do what I can... But although it pains me to admit it, I must say that these agents would be able to handle me easily. One moment..." Shadows would coalesce around the Goddess, shrouding her in darkness, hiding her from sight for a few moments before the shadows would fade away and standing where the Goddess had been there was... Deva. While... almost Deva. Every detail was correct, right down to the clothing, there was only one major difference between the real Deva and the illusion was that the Goddess had added a cup size. As this illusion Deva's breasts were considerably larger, which the Goddess would notice quickly and chuckle. "Heh... whoops... I'll fix that before I head out, I promise. Changing the voice is gonna be a bit annoying too, but we want this to be convincing." She would say, smirking at the small mistake she made.

"A full on invasion? Geez... That'd require quite an army considering the power that they wield. She collects powerful artifacts and adds powerful people into her ranks after all. But, there's no point just sitting around and worrying about it, I suppose. I'm with you though, no matter what." Isa would promise, ready for whatever was going to come their way for this one. Her attention would be taken by the construct that was summoned into the room, taking some time to properly admire it. "Wow... how many summons do you have anyway?" The ice mage would ask in awe, wondering what this new one would be able to do. But at the mention of the plan to invade, Narcissus' wife would speak up again. "If you are going to be invading the Cloaked One's realm... I think you should get some warning on it. It's a very strange realm, things are a bit disjointed there, and She rules over it. It's almost like her own pocket dimension, where she has limited control over even the land itself. Plus... If you're invading with an army then you're going to run into the Second. The Second may not be as powerful as the one you just defeated, but she makes up for it in other areas. She is the general of the Cloaked One's armies... and commands vast legions of forces with almost no effort... The First is the Second in Command, The Second is the General, and the Third is the Tactician. The Second may not be AS powerful without her tactician, but just be ready for an actual battle if you march an army in there..." She would warn, wanting Deva to be prepared for what might come if she invaded the Cloaked One's lands. Not trying to dissuade her from doing so, just wanting to prepare her for what she might have to face.

"Huh. good guess me, bad recovery time though.. 7 and a half hours for proper sleep, 60 hours recovering from spellcasting-backlash." She nodded, while reaching out and patting her spiderling, squirming a bit when hugged up, chuckling shily. She really was no good with all the praise, nice as it felt.

"Eh, I took precautions against 'being gone'. But yeah, if I had taken a strike or two more, I'd have been forced into trying to revive myself.. now I had a magic thing prepared for just that, but I genuinly forgot if that spell's still active.. hrmnn.." She tipped her chin. "Nono, it's alright to defend Narcissus... he was being manipulated too." Deva nodded. "We took the queen, the jester, and two knights of the rebellion, but it's king was hiding somewhere else all this time. But I wont give any leeway for any queening." Deva mused. "Wait, is there a jester in chess, I feel like there ought to be..." She pondered.

"Why did they disappear indeed! Quite the faulty sweets!" She nodded, unable to stop her teasing, even when taken too serious. "You might want to make a lot more of the strawberry-tasting ones, especially." She informed, without shame.
Deva raised her brow at Serp's warning about the enemy informing herself.. "The cloaked one seems to have not spied on me.. before. And even if she changes her mind, half of what I did sounds like strange stories that couldn't possibly be true. Like the time I turned a Thay-embassy into cheese. I don't even like cheese, it just was the thing ontop of my mind.." Deva enthused and flexed her.. not too impressive.. arm-muscles at that.
"We can get you hooked back up to the swarm later, Isa. I don't want the first to peek at this.. or to expand an unhealthy amount of energy into doing it, if she does, measuring herself against my tome." She nodded again. "Planning something? Me? I never have a plan. The cloaked one knows my most powerful tricks, so they can be countered. So little point using them anymore, is there?" Deva suggested.

"I'm only still using Morphea and Phantasma because.. eh, long story, but need it for things.. and Rain of Life is a bit of a signature spell, I just like using it. But beyond that, to reiterate, power is just a means to an end. You don't saw trees with a hammer, nor do you hammer nails with a spoon now, do you? Oh I'm sure if your spoon is big enough and you smack it really hard.. but you still look silly." She fluffed up her wings a little. One of them had been half asleep!

"Oh, here Serp, take this if you run into serious trouble." She decided, tossing over the blood-red feather. "Just crack it open, and try to look timid. If you don't, she might want to fight you instead." Deva nodded, only keeping the white feather to herself.
"Good luck with the cupcakes.. but I don't think you can ever beat the disappearing cupcake act..." Deva mused, knowing just the right tone to ~motivate~ Fey creatures competetive side.

"They would be able to easily handle anyone, if you give them a chance.. sorry, wasn't that obvious yet? Each and every one of these agents, beginning with about Valerie is stronger than me in some form or another. The first was stronger in pretty much every respect." She shrugged. ".. did you increase my breast size?" She coughed slightly and shrugged.. most people would not notice, she guessed. "You don't need to win. Or to even do exceptionally well.. you just need to busy them a little more."

Deva then grinned at Isa "Oh, collecting artifacts hrmnn? Good point. I might need to acess my vault." Deva chuckled, benevolently. "You're under a variety of false assumptions, my dear friends. The first of which is that I am going to use an army that needs to march anywhere. The second is that I do not have artifacts myself. And the third.. is that I'm starting an invasion just now." Her eyes lit up, as she used her tome for a little convinence, reshaping her dress.

"I've invaded the cloaked ones realm long ago!" Deva clasped her hands together. "All you need to enter a realm, is a piece of you, already there." She looked at her tome. "You get it, right? Just like tomes dissolve stories and provide the raw material to create new things, new words.. so do my Fluffies with magic." She explained, raising two hand, with three fingers spread out, over her head, and pointing the other, with two fingers to the ground. "My Fluffies are free.. and kind, and independent. But. I am still their creator, their mother. I don't need to command or control I can.. make a request." She explained, closing her eyes. "Oh and.. sidenote.. I of all people know the price of controlling a realm like an extension of yourself. But enough chitter-chatter. Enough skirmishing with agents. Once more, The Twilight Paradise will open it's floodgate. And although I loathe to be a warleader, this paradise has once been made because I was a general.

Plus I tire of the Cloaked One not suffering any reprecussions. Let us show her my full strength, not as an individual. Now where was I.. Oh yes."
She clasped her hands together after forming an array of strange signs. Granted. She could not use this magic, certainly not anymore. She lacked the power. But she could borrow power, straight from the heart of the Cloaked Ones heart, as she had accepted and 'tamed' her Fluffies. Foolish woman. There was always more than a single scheme in motion, with Deva. "CATACLYSMIC !"

"By the way, leaving this gate open for retreating purposes.. and to recieve sweets! Spirit, watch us, keep your ability readied, just in case." She nodded, the spirit bowing, before grabbing Isa (including a boobie-hug, of course) With one hand, the other holding onto her hat, as she shouted a loud. "Weeeeeee..." And hopped into the Cloaked one's realm, as far outside as she could, a little cute fuzzy-fluffball awaiting her and squeaking happily, only to be petted..and absorbing some minor, swiftly summoned conjuring magic.

"Now, I know you're watching. In case you wondered how I got in, well, you let something of mine in for quite a while. I can circumvent most abjuration magic just with that.. though.. kind of odd that my temporal insertion didn't work. Nor did my.. eh.. no matter! Here now. Try and stop me." Deva grinned, and looked about, enthusing at Isa. "This reminds me of my youth. Well. youthish. When I besieged a place filled with demons. I never told you that story, did I? Basically, I was tasked by Asmodeus.. yes, long time, to try and lay siege upon a wild layer of the abyss. Ended up kind of betraying him, stealing the layer for myself. The lord of that layer was an advanced Balor demon,.. remember that Dance Macabre plushie? Granted, back then, I did not have what I have now. That.. I build later, to invade another demonic layer, Androlynne, to save a single child... oh, right, my point." She nodded, and placed a pillow she had brought along upon the ground.

"First step of an invasion, claim a favourable, comfortable position to fortify and use as organization plus command centre. I was a big doofus long ago, used a fortress and war-tents, not pillows. Anyway.. " Deva looked over to Isa. "You had a good idea earlier. Oh yes. Get some of my junk up!" Deva raised her hands, several spells like she had used appearing, and, with a gentle guiding from her tome, each deposited a large box of wooden, bearing an insignia of a stylized wing.. and another box.. and another box. Almost five hundred in numbers, at the end.

"Ahaha.. yes.. this is good. good to be alive. Good to face a strong enemy, once more, in battle. Good to be alive. I was so old and scared of conflict, I almost ended up forsaking myself. I ought to thank the cloaked one." Deva chuckled slightly, as all but one of gates closed up again, except the one behind her, as she leaned on one of the chests.

"You asked me how many summons I have. Heh, I'll admit, I like friends more than glittery stuff, generally speaking. But these are not summons, to be clear. They are my most beloved friends, subjects. My soldiers. Frankly.. If I had called them all against the rebellion, that might have had the first struggling too. She was bad with distractions and changing combat... but I dare not endanger them." She nodded, stepping to the crate closest to her, and opening it up.
"Did I ever tell you? I lead a magical crafters guild for a while too. I stockpiled a few things." She began digging through the supplies, musing, pulling out a dark blade. "Heh. Gloom-Blade. A single touch of the blade would rot you away. .. ah.. an acid-masters staff. You know, these things could unleash almost as much acid as you could Ice, for a limited while. Great fun at parties, she said." Deva mused, pulling out a ring as well as two rune-covered swords. "Spell-sequencing Katana's. They allow me to cast a variety of defensive spells I normally don't have acess. One has greater restoration, astral walk and cocoon of rejuvenation." She checked. "Ah, yes, this one casts shadow shield, mirror image and discplacement." She shrugged ever so slightly, reminiscing, looking down at an armor.
"Seryus scales... this one armor alone cost me two million gold and then some. It negates damage as if your skin was covered by diamonds. Ahaha.. oh look at all these things stacked up in my lil' box. This is the private box, by the way, full of things too dangerous to fall into someone else hands.. AH! There it is." She snatched a thing out of the box, before watching it sink away back into her portal.

"Many young adventurers would sell body and soul for a fraction of what I own.. but it's more about sentimentality than use by now, you know? I've given so much, handed out little beginner bags for nothing but a bad joke, sometimes even tossed rare things into them for my own amusement. It was a merry old artifact trading. I gave away a lot for my broom.. yeah, don't tell anyone, but that broom I just bought.. for a lot of things. I 'won' it in a bidding war.. heh. Still good times. But! Broom aside. Let us see what the cloaked ones world has to offer." Deva presented the items she had retrieved, a blue, spherical ball of barely palm-size, as well as a pair of dark, leathery gloves, with a slight wet-sheen to them. (Though, if Isa payed very close attention, she'd notice that both of these gloves were right-handed. "I'm prepared." She declared, suddenly tossing the ball into her mouth, and chewing, while putting on one of the gloves.

"One of Octobre Moon's candies. Hmnn yum yum... Alright, alright.." Deva raised her hand, admitting.: "Perhaps that old witch also imbued it with meta-magic enhancing properties... " She chuckled. "Now then!" Deva looked over to Isa, seeming thoughtful, tipping her chin. "I'll give you my next milkshake if you can guess whats in the boxes before we're attacked and I have to open them anyway." She grinned.

"Well you're okay... I'm glad you didn't have to try and revive yourself or anything like that." Isa would say, taking a moment to steady herself and wipe away the tears before they even came. Though Narcissus' wife would look very surprised at the thought that Narcissus was being manipulated by someone other than the First. "Really? I didn't think that my husband was being manipulated by anyone that we haven't already seen. At least, from what I had seen those were the last members of the rebellion that I knew of. Then again, I suppose there were some that I couldn't have met..." She would say thoughtfully, trying to remember if there was anyone else that they hadn't seen in this battle.

"I'm so sorry! I promise the next ones won't disappear! Ooooh... You probably hate me now... I'm sorry! I'll make sure that they won't disappear... I'll keep my eyes on them until the moment you eat them!" She would say, still not picking up on the fact that Deva was teasing her, and instead now focusing on making sure that Deva got proper sweets as a reward for the things that she did. "Not quite sure how strawberry sweets would disappear less... But I'll try!" The angel would nod. Serp, however, would be thinking intently on something, clearly being bothered by something. "You say that she didn't learn about you before facing you... but how true is that really? She's been using agents primarily for ages. Then she decides to personally intervene in the ONE story that has a potential Tome Wielder in it? It just seems very coincidental to me. Besides... even if she didn't take the time to learn about you before, she's definitely been doing her homework after you faced off against her agents. Just... be wary of what she might be planning." He would warn before taking the feather and smiling in thanks. "I might need to revert back to my 'older' form then... I'll at least look like I'm not too intimidating of a fight." The fairy, meanwhile, would huff a bit when it was suggested that she wouldn't be able to top disappearing sweets. "Psssh! Disappearing sweets are good... But just you wait! I'll show you mischief!" Her competitive nature coming into play as she planned all sorts of things that she would do once she got into the Cloaked One's home.

The group of them would look impressed when Deva started talking about how she had already managed to get a way into the Cloaked One's lair, meaning that she had already made so much more progress in stopping her than any of them had gotten. And technically she had done it around the very start of her journey. "Wow... Alright then... a proper invasion it is then!" Isa wasn't sure what else she could say at this point, but apparently she now had to be ready a lot sooner than she thought she would have to. Other than that, the group would wish Deva luck before they all went off to fulfill their own missions, ready to help Deva in any way that they could. Thankfully she had gotten some time to rest and restore her own magical energy, so she would still be useful in the battle that was likely about to happen. "Alright. I'm ready... Time to bring the fight to her this time." Though once again she would blush deeply when her boob was gripped, not sure if she should say something about that at this point or not. Either way, Deva would find herself in the realm of the Cloaked One, and it would already feel strange. It didn't feel like a dimension that someone had constructed, it didn't feel like this was a realm of the Cloaked One's creation. Yet, at the same time it was definitely a dimension that someone had complete power over, it felt like it could be manipulated IF you were the right person to hold power over it.

The world she was in was... strange in many ways. It was a series of floating chunks of land with a gigantic void all around them. There wasn't a sky or a sun, nor was there a solid ground, it looked more like someone had taken the actual land and just split it into pieces. There were chunks of land with jungle and forest on it, some with plains and mountains, some with what looked like broken houses. While there was a dark void beneath them, Deva also wouldn't feel as though there was any danger of falling, and if she took a step off the island she had come on, a chunk of rock would immediately appear between her feet, ensuring that she wouldn't fall. Looking around, she would see... all of her Fuzzies? They were all on a single island, sitting atop tiny little geysers of mana that the Cloaked One had provided them. There were quite a few more than the one she had originally sent, as the Cloaked One had been letting them breed so long as they didn't overwhelm her people or her lands. They definitely seemed happy and well cared for, if kept in a single place rather than having infinite room to roam as they might have wanted. A voice would ring out in the land around them, the voice of the Cloaked One.

"I had wondered when I would see you here... I figure you used your creations to enter my realms? Interesting... A very clever idea. It seems that Traitorous Snake Lucifer still had some use for me. Why would I try and stop you? You are already here, I can't stop that... So welcome to my realm, my home. When you are ready, I await your 'heroic' attempt at stopping me." The Cloaked One would tell her, seeming more talkative now that Deva was already on her doorstep. She didn't have to hide as much, especially against one that had already managed so much against her. Instead, she would play things a little differently, letting Deva do what she wished for now. "My general awaits your army... at least, if you truly are doing as Lucifer had predicted and starting your proper invasion... Take all the time you need to prepare, I will take that time to start calling my more powerful agents back and evacuate those that I don't wish to be involved in this conflict." She would inform, much more conversational now that she could see where Deva was and was able to tell what she was doing.

"Well her being ready for this isn't exactly the best sign... I assume that the place we want to go is over there?" Isa would point, still trying to comprehend everything that was happening around her. As she pointed over to where she thought the Cloaked One would be, Deva would also hear the voice of her Tome speaking once again. "Deva... This is... even stranger than with the First. This world... I see it as well. There aren't words here... I can see the ground, I can see the forests and jungles, I can see the castles and homes... The only words I can see is Isa at the moment. Is this the types of things you normally see? I've never seen trees before... Either way, this is concerning... I did not think that there was any world out there that I would be able to see. I even see the dark castle that Isa was pointing to." The Tome would say, out of its own element as well now that it could see these kinds of things. Speaking of that castle that the two of them were talking about...

The castle was shrouded slightly by the void that surrounded the realm, and it floated on a chunk of land that pretty much only held the castle. Tall towers looked around on each side, and a strike of lightning would even strike near it as Deva looked at it. While it was ominous and looming, it did look rather extravagant, like a very wealthy nobleman would live there. Either way, it was the most notable structure that any of them would be able to see in the area. "So this is going to be the point that we fortify? It's a decent spot considering that the castle is right over there." The ice mage would say, not as surprised to hear that she had managed to invade a demon realm like that. With everything that she had seen, she became less and less surprised by the incredible sounding things that the angel had accomplished. Sure, it was still absolutely amazing to see her accomplish these things, but hearing about them became more and more feasible to her. Isa would watch as Deva brought artifact after artifact into the world, listening intently to the stories about her past, the things that she had crafted and the things that she had done, as well as the value that others would go through. "Geez... That's decades worth of equipment there... A lot of the time, when I saw other stories, I saw that there were maybe one or two artifacts like that." Isa would comment, her eyes wide just at the pure power alone of all the artifacts around her.

"If I were to guess, the boxes have some kind of constructs in there. They're your 'soldiers'. A bunch of constructs that can help you in this invasion. That's my best guess at least, the only other option I could think of would be a bunch more feathers to summon in new allies for the coming battle." The ice mage would guess, going off of the things that she had seen Deva do before.

No matter how long Deva waited, there'd be no force coming out to meet her, she wouldn't even see anyone as she waited there. Though the amount of magical artifacts would likely attract the large amount of Fuzzies that the Cloaked One had kept in the same area. She'd have all the time that she wanted to prepare, and then some. It seemed that the Cloaked One was content to let Deva come to her, rather than marching her own army out towards the angel. Instead the castle would just sit there. In fact, it didn't even look like there was anyone stationed around the castle, as the Cloaked One's forces waited for the angel to make the first move. "That's quite an impressive amount of magical artifacts you have... I look forward to adding them to my own sizable collection when this is all over." The Cloaked One would tell them, her voice still filling the plane around them.

Deva chuckled, benevolently at the nervous Isa. "Oh there are no rebellion members left, but Narcissus was still being manipulated" Deva posed, then chuckled, and smiled. "I hate very few things, don't you worry." She looked over to Serp. "If she had known of me, she'd never dared to touch me or mine." She said, her expression quite serious for a moment. Then Deva laughed. "If she did her homework, she'll find only one thing.. that everyone and everything that ever tried to destroy whats precious to me.. is now gone." her tone oscillated from happy to quite serious. "And unless she is self destructive.. she has little plans that will succeed." She shook her head. "I loathe.. being called a hero.. or powerful. But I've stopped so many threats, I've lost count." She waved to Serp.. and nodded to the fairy.

Deva looked around lazily in the realm surrounding her. "Hey, I kinda like it. It's a divinely morphic plane, keyed to the cloaked one indeed, by the scent in the air.." She mused, putting a finger into her mouth and holding it up. "Let's hope she's not that great at planar manipulation. Oh well." She looked up at the floating chunks in the air. "Closest thing I've seen is Archeron, not a fun place, but this seems more.. naturalley. Oh look, it's a source of unending magic. The Fluffies love those. I had to build in a certain sensation of being too full else they'd multiply indefinitly." She chuckled.

"Oh, hi there, cloakey. You gravely misunderstand why I'm here.. I don't want to stop you anymore. And this is not your home anymore. It'll soon belong to me." She smirked. "What's this, your own seeded demiplane you've fed with your tomes power? A divinely morphic realm that always belonged to you? No matter. It'd not be the first world I've laid claim to." She mused.
"You've lost your right at my mercy, by endangering all worlds with your foolishness. I'll see you broken and powerless before me." She said, still calm and without hatred.

"More powerful agents, hmn? You still think so foolishly. There were so many powerful things that have tried to conquer or destroy the worlds I cared about. You watched a few of them.
They all failed, and died, and ran way. That is who I am. I am Deva Undon. Surrender this realm in its entirety to me. Run away... and I will grant you respite for the time being. That is your best choice right now. You've taken so many homes, you lost your right to have one of your own. It is time to pay your dues."
She said, dead-serious.

"I suspect you see this world because it is crafted from the words of other worlds, and the corruption that lies beneath. It matters little. Well.. it's that, or the cloaked one is your original creator or something and this is your home-world. Either way, lots of possible theories." She nodded, then looked ahead.
"Haha.. yes, Isa, I overdid the gathering a bit.. but nah, that fortress looks too gloomy, who'd want to go there, we got a pillow and my gloves!" She enthused.
"Very good guess Isa! Those boxes contain my restored golden army." Deva chuckled ever so slightly, moreso as the cloaked one chatted on. "Eh. You wont be adding anything. Seriously, put on the glove Isa. Also.. of course we are being expected. But.. no one can truly expect me!" She chuckled, throwing a lesser token artifact to her fluffies, petting them as they consumed it with happy purring noises, rubbing and massaging them, connecting the strange glittering nectar flowing off of their furr.

"At a point in time, I had too much money from the artifact trading and whatnot. I didn't know what to do.. so I used some to hire skilled golemcrafters and.. used the rest. To demonstrate. Now then. RISE MY ARMY!" Deva lifted her hands, each of the chests cracking open. out to the frontline, followed by .. and then, That was not all, broke forth from more chests, taking to the air and slowly floating around.
They all stepped into a calm, combattive formation, standing silently, awaiting Deva's commands.
"They can not be controlled, they do not tire, they do not stop."

"Now then. Let us start by wiping that arrogant tone from that voice, my dear enemy, shan't we?" Deva mused. "I'm through with arrogant folks like the first and Lucifer and you. Let's see if unlike these, I can make you despair." She lifted her glove, and pointed at the fortress. "Hellball Cannon: Fire." Then, she lifted her tome. "Let's see if you can't breach some magical defenses there."
Deva leaned back, ..

" Hell-ball Cannon. A litle something combining the enery of all four elements together into a devastating blast." She mused, as the ball exploded in a cacophony of energy, slamming into the fortress walls. "Created by one of the greatest artificiers and an old enemy turned friend.

I got other options too, buuut.. this one is the best catch-all on long range" Deva shrugged. "I'm not a fan of destruction under any circumstances...
But if Devastating a single world saves all other worlds, that will be my bad deed for the day. But don't you worry. Reloading something like this will take a few minutes. .. just kidding, it's ready again just after a moment of chit-chatting."
She chuckled, raising her fingers and pointing.. another ball of bright, white light, splitting up into a variety of devastating elements shot out fromsomewhere in the sky, burning, freezing, melting, a cacophony of various energy types crackling over the fortress walls And then, out of the thin air, apparently, above Deva, another of those energie balls spewed forth, flying far and deadly towards the fortress, either hitting the breach, or just clashing into another area of it entirely.

"NOW! My army! I've offered kindness and mercy so many times. Spread out in combat formation C. Kill any that do not surrender immdiatly. Destroy any tactical structure the enemy might posess. Use code two if you need backup. Give the destroyer of worlds a taste of her own medicine and lay waste to everything she cares about! This world shall belong to the Wings of Joy!" Deva shouted out, the golems stepping into formation as one, and three of the golem-companies began marching towards the fortress, a third circling slightly, preparing a flanking maneuvre, with hell still raining from above her. The smaller, flying golems began circling through the air, scouting the area, not just the fortress, but all surroundings, ready to report any movement, while the quicksilver-creatures.. shifted and transformed. A few became coppery-golems, one or two disguised as the flying scouts, one even took the form of a fluffy, and hop-purred away, innocently.
Deva meanwhile chuckled, extending her glove, with tentacles slighering down from an unseen vantage point above her... which finally faded into view after fiering a multitude of projectiles, a large, flying fortress,

It slowly rotated, the large centre-gem fiering infernal energy blast after infernal energy blast at the fortress before it, avoiding the army as they spread out, but otherwise bombarding any hostile structure indifferently.. "My Aurorum-steel fortress. This is but a small taste of what you've done to the worlds you've destroyed." Deva said, coldly, as the tendrils reaching down for her, took her glove and also reached for the one she had offered Isa.

"My attempt to stop you will neither be heroic nor glorious, no war ever is. I will kill everyone and everything refusing to surrender in my path, until you break. As horrible as I may be, I rather carry the burden of conquering one world, than letting you have the thousands you hunger for." She explained, and, if at least a few of her elemental blasts had sucessfully hit home, something more happened, in the damaged areas, a whirlwind manifested into a wind-elemental. At another place, fire took it's own shape, marching on and burning everything in it's path, ice and rime gathered into a frost-elemental, spreading out and mixing the golems organized charge and search for opponents with unpredictable mayhem.

Meanwhile, the tentacles curled arond and began pulling Deva upwards, only hesitating, as Deva twirled her hand in a strange way. She had more things to say. She would hold nothing back in this invasion.
"You and your rebellion have proven that if not stopped here, now, all worlds will suffer." She narrowed her eyes, biting her own hand, hard enough to draw blood. "Now then, chewed the gum enough.. is very tasty gum by the way. Now, face the angels my love and care created! For the good of all there is. Come forth. Come to my side, and fight for me once more'!"
and was suddenly bathed in a light of pure white and goodness, the mana-geysir flowing over to her and several motes of light shot out from her.
"Intensified, Maximized Magic: Call of the Twilight Paradise!" Deva declared, her necklace flaring up, as all around her, flying in the air,

Many of the angels used weapons like Deva had shown, guisarmes, silvery swords, almost all also wore beautiful robes.. though some of them were quite revealing. Infact, .. a lot of them where. And, while many of them were angelic, there were also a few with certain.. demonic looking traits. Dark, golden eyes, horns.. and, perhaps, it was Isa's imagination, but.. some of them seemed rather well hung.. one particularly haunting one was actually completely nude, and it was this one that stepped forth, (unlike most) and bowing low.
"Creator, what are your commands."
"Looking at the terrain my golems might need aerial support. Deal with any enemy you can, regroup and gather again if there's trouble. Oh.. and purify any that surrender to you, or the golems. May they serve the twilight." The succubus-like looking angel grinned, flapping her wings upwards.

"Still listening cloakey? I'll let you give an answer before I have my tome cut out your annoying chatter.. until you are ready to surrender. To put this into perspective. I summoned a batallion of fourty angels. To deal with someone like Narcissus I'd have needed .. 30 of them, tops. I could summon more.. but these are the most battle-hardened." That was a bit of a bluff. Narcissus at his full power had been intimidating.. but still, Deva was quite confident that the whole host of her summoned angels would at least have given him some serious trouble.
Deva smirked, not only that, but each of her Aeva-angels, created in her and Aelissas combined image were not just strong, but smart tacticians, working together with a well oiled machine. She was confident that they all united would put serious work on even a high ranking agent.. though at first, they would swarm out.
Not only, did each of them wear a masterwork Aurorum and whitegold armor, each was equipped with magic weapons, usually enchanted to cause additional harm to evil or orderly foes, rarely even with simple pure divine damage.
Deva loathed using her elite troups like this, for it left the Twilight paradise less defended, but moreso, she could not bear a single one of them dying.. but were all worlds were in danger, the second-line defenders would have to stand first.
And each and every one of them could use her Morphea and Phantasma once, just like Deva could.. and even so, killing them outside of the paradise would only force them to return and be unable to be summoned again, for quite a while.

"One more thing. Let me be very clear here, Cloaked One. I have not fought kindly so far out of weakness. But out of strength. Others told me you are the type to research my past. " She shrugged. "I doubt that. Or if you truly have, do tell me of Sesail, or House Storm, or Mr.Nice. Have you heard any of these names?" She mused. "If not, know that the next poor fool that dares to threaten the peace of all worlds, will have to listen to one more name that has long lost its meaning added to that list." Deva declared. "MY ANGELS! FLY! AND PUT AN END TO THIS WICKEDNESS!"

She shouted out, and, accompanied by loud cheers and a raising of weapons, her heterogenous group of angels took flight, golden and blue eyes glowing cheerfully, if with a certain hunger for battle, white, sometimes red-splotched wings flapping as the angels raised their voices, hunting down all evil they could find.. not to kill, but to defeat, capture.. and purify to serve their wonderful mistress, angels leading the way with weapons ablaze in holy light, yet also shadows guarding and strengthening their armor as they raised their voices in a literal angelic chorus, their voices alone enough to make feeble foes flee before them.
"We fight to die, lived many lives before
We are immortal, shall never die in war
We fight for Lady Deva, it's for her all evil falls,
We call to lady Deva and she hears all of our calls.
Until this battle's over we will not rest our hand,
Stand strong and ever stronger until this is our land"

Deva leaned over and whispered to Isa, as finally the tentacles began tugging, pulling her up to her floating command-fortress. "To simplify things, I'm a nice Eladrin. My wife was a Demoness. we combined our powers to create the Aevas. they turned out rather.. Valkyrie like, good, but.. very indulgy. And fighty. Try not to look too cute. One might flirt with you, marry you, rape you and also turn you into a happy follower of my faith, not necessarily in that precise order.." She chuckled, innocently, but with a glint in her eyes.

Deva would once again hear the voice of the Cloaked One in the air, showing that she definitely could hear and respond to the angel. "If you truly want this plane then you may go right ahead and take it. I do not intend to remain here any more honestly. Too many that are against me know of its existence, as you yourself are proving right now. My apologies if this disappoints you, but there will be little resistance to you moving in. There is almost nothing left here anyway, it is a realm that was falling apart on its own, and there is little more I can do to hold it together anymore." She would respond calmly, having already planned on moving somewhere else before, and seeing the rebellion helping to solidify that decision and help her decide to move along. "I had considered taking those adorable little creatures along with me, but I had a feeling that you would be able to get into my realms with them. So I gave them a food source and bid them farewell. Though, I suppose you might have come to realize that I am still here at least." The Cloaked One didn't truly sound smug as she spoke, simply explaining things, not even putting on the voice she used to seem vague and mysterious, instead just talking with the angel.

Though Isa would be surprisingly silent, seeming to be thinking something over in her head now that she was in the actual realm of the Cloaked One. She would look around a bit, not putting the glove on immediately as she did so. She would look around at the constructs that were rising, impressed at the things that the angel was able to call on, though it seemed that she was still thinking something over. Her eyes would widen when she saw Deva preparing a blast at the castle, wondering what she had planned. The ball of energy would fly faster and faster at the castle, but right before it hit, a rift would open up in front of it, the blast flying through what looked like a portal, which would lead to the energy blast being sent downward, under where the ground moved to meet them, flying off down into the void, flying out of existence. "Aaarggh! These... Grrr... Defenses are powerful... I can't manipulate them like I can most things... Uurk... Trying..." "Oh my. That is impressive power. If it weren't for Lucifer warning me to prepare for something similar to that I doubt that there'd be anything that I could do. Though... There is no point in me stopping those strikes if I am leaving I suppose. Besides... even now I feel disgusted benefiting off of one like Lucifer." The Cloaked One would comment, not happy with the things that she had learned about the rebellion, thinking that those actions made her unhappy to even be associated with their plans. As more energy blasts were sent flying towards the castle, they would instead go through a rift and be sent spiraling into the void, not being caught by the ground like Deva and her soldiers would be. Though if they redirected to try and strike the castle from underneath, chunks of rock would fly to meet them, creating the impact a safe distance away from the castle.

Then when Deva gave her orders to the soldiers, Isa would look even more uncomfortable, not saying a word, but standing there, still without a glove, seeming to be thinking about something even harder than she had been a few moments ago. "I see you have quite a bit of anger within you. There is little I can do to fix that it seems. I had thought that I could help those with hatred in their hearts, but clearly my efforts on that end fail." She would sound remorseful at that, lamenting her failures as the army stormed her castle. The golems would find no resistance on their way in, the gates being left wide open for them to storm through. Though they also wouldn't find anyone within the castle, every room that they marched through was empty, no living creatures inside, no weapons, no magical artifacts, the only things that they would find would be decorations and furniture, seeming as though everyone had left. Though eventually they would find their way to the throne room, and once they made it through those doors... Deva would see multiple golems get sent flying out through the windows of the castle, and any not helped by the angels would land on solid ground that would fly out to catch them. Then suddenly one of her angels would find themselves hit with a stinging pain, a few small rocks cutting them, not too severely, just enough for the Cloaked One to see if the angels had the same Morphea spell that Deva had. More and more golems would be sent flying from the castle before the front doors opened and two familiar figures would walk out.

The Cloaked One would walk out, not currently holding her Tome, surveying the scene around her, not attacking the golems as she walked. Though once one of them would try and attack her, she would lift her hand to block the strike, a magic barrier appearing right where the attack would hit, and then if it continued to push towards her she would raise her hand, causing the golem to lift up into the air, and she would send it out of the castle, seeming to make sure that it was somewhere that it could be easily caught. "You need not come with me in this. I can handle this situation on my own..." "Yeah... And I 'need not' leave you on your own. You've done everything you can to help me, it's only fair I do the same." "You realize that I could order you to leave at any moment..." "Yeah, you could do that. Just like you did with the others. You're worrying again and again about making sure the others get away from here, we want you to come back to us as well. Even after that..." She would answer, Valerie walking right along side the Cloaked One, fighting and growling at anything that got too close, the two of them walking confidently even in all the chaos that Deva's army could manage to cause. The Cloaked One's voice would sound out through the entire realm once again.

"The two of us do not come to fight, nor do we come to surrender. I want to speak with you. I wanted to prevent you from getting any information to use against me, but in doing so I have allowed a very poor impression of me to develop. Things are clearly not as you seem to think that they are. I am NOT a destroyer or a devourer, or even a conqueror. I come to SAVE these stories from that which will happen. I recognize those names, in fact I recognize one of them even more than you know, but I get ahead of myself." She would answer, no malice or anger in her voice, sounding more as though she earnestly wished to explain and describe the situation as she saw it, rather than fight this battle. Though if any came in to attack her, they would be stopped in their tracks, mostly by forcefields that the Cloaked One was creating even without her Tome, doing what she could to hold the angels back, using her magic to both fight them off, and prevent them from being able to affect Valerie, who's spell resistance was already much higher than the average person.

Neither of them would try to kill the angels, nor would they even try to severely injure them. The only real thing that the two of them would do is try and force them to use up their Morpheas if the Cloaked One's instincts were correct in thinking that they had that same power. Though thankfully, Isa would have put her glove on at this point, still silent through this whole affair, watching as the Cloaked One and Valerie walked out, both of them working to protect one another, the Cloaked One handling ranged threats while Valerie would take on any that managed to get too close. "I believe that we would both benefit from me explaining myself at this point, as too much has happened without us having any sort of talk. Neither of us need to fight here, at least not before I explain as much as I am able." In fact, the Cloaked One had even thought that Deva was using some of the same logic that caused her to go down this path, and part of her even hoped that she might convince Deva to help her.

Isa would take another look around as Deva whispered to her about the angels, still seeming very upset about something. "Yeah..." Would be her only answer, not liking the things that she was seeing, especially the orders that she had heard from Deva. Part of her wanted to simply leave this situation, not wanting to be a part of this if things were going this far, but at the same time she had said that she would do something if she felt that Deva was going too far... But was this going too far? The Cloaked One had done a lot of things that the ice mage found despicable, but still she couldn't fight down a strong sense of doubt as she watched things unfold around her.

"I do not destroy... I am working to SAVE these stories. You think that I am holding these worlds away from their futures, and in a way you are correct. But I do not tear apart and absorb, I store and protect, saving millions from the fates that are in store for them. I can show you... How the Stories that you 'saved' will end... It is something that I wish to prevent, THIS is where these stories end up..." The empty void around them would shift, no longer being a swirling void and instead showing a familiar landscape from somewhere that Deva had already been. While she couldn't reach out and touch the lands she was watching, she could see everything that was happening from her position, the void showing what the Cloaked One had seen.

The first thing she saw was an intricate and foreboding ice palace, with spires and towers of pure ice reaching up to the sky. Within there was a variety of frozen statues, all looking incredibly life like, And two of those statues would look very familiar to the angel.

It was Mulj and Limone, the both of them frozen solid on opposite sides of a gigantic ice chamber, expressions of fear on their faces as another slime woman entered the chamber, looking over the statues a bit with an evil smile on her face. She would look through her rooms, multiple statues of slime people frozen as decorations in her palace, the ice slime lounging in her throne, creating little constructs of ice to amuse her, waiting for the next slime that she could make a beautiful statue for her palace. "I will forever feel guilty that one of my agents dared to interfere in true and honest love, the most beautiful thing one can see in the entire Universe. But I will not apologize for trying to prevent them from experiencing this fate. This is how their story ends..." The scene would shift yet again, the void returning for a few moments before switching to another landscape. This time switching over to the land of Monsters that Deva had been in before, the land where she had stopped Mortema from conquering the human city.

But the forests looked far less lush, trees withering and plants turning brown as the entire land seemed to fall into decay. There were no humans or Monsters running around any more, all that was left were the ruins indicating that those things had once existed. "The Monsters and Humans did not find peace... They continued to war with one another, create new ways to fight back and forth, the few asking for peace drowned out in the escalation. Eventually they are all wiped out in a battle that leaves the entire planet dying. What few still live struggle to find any food or water, the entire world is doomed due to the never ending conflict. It was my mistake to use Mortema, one so personally tied to the story, in an attempt to save it. That was my failure, and I am disgusted with myself for it, but that was what had happened and I can't undo that. But this story ends in a grim fashion, one that I wished to protect them from..." She continued to explain, the void shifting one more time to give Deva some insight on something that she had said earlier.

This time the environment shifted to the very first Story that Deva had saved, Robyn and Chara the werewolf meant to fight one another for a while before the two of them temporarily manage to stop Mr. Nice. This one Deva would know, the two of them barely manage to overcome him together for a time, managing to protect their world for a few generations, and their child would rule a united land. Except... that wasn't what she would see happening. The mighty knight and the fearsome werewolf fell at the hands of Mr. Nice, the both of them unable to stop him no matter how fiercely they fought, the two leaders and their entire armies still not enough to stop that inhuman force. They both fall and he reigns over the world that they had tried to bring peace to, and as she saw that, she would... remember reading about that when she had visited that world? It was an odd sensation, the two differing ways that story ended both seeming just as real, as though she could perfectly remember reading BOTH of those endings to that story... "This is the fate I wished to prevent, this type of evil devouring their Story, I wanted to prevent these things from happening. I even tried to push the stories to a better ending, push them to a happy ending, but it wouldn't work. The Story would either push back and return to these terrible endings, or they would fall apart as I kept pushing and pushing... The only thing I could do was break them down and take them into my Tome, taking that power and holding them still, ensuring that they never reach this terrible ending. If I were truly a power hungry monster I would tear them apart and absorb more power that way, but I store them, protect them from this ending. THAT is why I act this way... That is why I do what you consider to be evil. I will commit whatever terrible acts are necessary to ensure this safety... Of course... I expect you have questions, or objections to this... Please speak them, I came to explain myself, not to force you to believe my side of this..." The Cloaked One would calmly explain, willing to speak with Deva and answer as much as she could, still working with Valerie to ensure that the two of them would not be harmed by the different attacks that were being sent against them.

"Falling apart realm, huh? I should figure out why that happens. I guess." Deva mused, curious-distracted as she put her hand onto the ground.

She looked up. "You are here because I know I can find you again with a little effort, so retreating from me is kind of pointless." Deva watched her hellball impact the defenses. "Warping space and time to completely avoid the impact of whatever. Quite a lot more dangerous than simple forcefields as well, though. I had a spell like that, long ago.. Well, anything I say now will be forgotten anyway." She mused, seeming to make her mind up about something.

"You've endangered the whole of reality with the power you've given to some of your agents. Some things are worth fighting for. Though.. perhaps not fighting you." Deva shook her head.
All of Deva's angels indeed had her Morphea effect, turning the stinging ray of stones into nothing but an illusion, before annoyedly beginning to arm themselfs and circle. Deva meanwhile chuckled, gaving a subtle command. If there was little to conquer.. no need to use all of her armies strength yet.. and slowly, again, each golem was engulfed by a wooden chest, a reverse of how they were summoned. Her angels were enough for this after all.
Deva crossed her arms, watching the approaching cloaked one.

She watched the cloaked ones visions, and listened to her words. "Well, no suprise there." She finally nodded at the story of Mr.Nice. "It.. Gnn.. STOP SHOWING ME THESE THINGS!" Deva shouted, twirling her hand to the right and cutting through the illusion, with what little control over such visions remained for her.

"The first bit was expected.. but not this. The false reality is trying to assert itself." She mused, seeming.. as was her way with things,.. oddly ignorant of the things before her, ignoringt he first one, Valerie and Isa, in favor of pondering.

"Is it yours, or a third, that's the real question here." Deva crossed her arms. "No.. It's yours. Everything fits too perfectly for a third." Deva pondered.
"That also explains why your storrrrr....." She froze up, suddenly, tears forming in the corners of her eyes. "No! If MY timeline has been infected, HE could return. NEVER AGAIN!" Deva slammed her tome open, roughly. "You foolish fool. The future is a constant flux, a constant stream of possilbities. The reason no mortal can glance ahead is because they'd gaze into infinity. But some timelines are more likely than others. If you try too hard, you'll let a timeline assert itself over others. The danger of destiny. It's all just theories, of course. Foolish, well meaning fool, if you take away the empty pages from a storybook, no other tale can be told. If my causality line has been infected, he could return."

None, not Isa, Valerie, nor any of the angels had ever seen Deva,.. well.. panic. Even when facing the first one, she had been curious, cautious at best, always seeming to have a plan.. but.. now things seemed different.
"It's not just that you are seeing wrong futures. Those future are trying to assert themselfs. Someone is creating suffering for sufferings sake. I long theorized it was your tome, a wicked third tome user, or a shadow of the tomes, but those details matter little."
Deva clasped her hands together, drawing a strange sign into the air, before studying. Well, at least she was no longer in the mood to fight, it seemed.

." She declared, casting a spell, albeit not one designed to attack... examining the sign, exhaling, briefly, before glaring at the cloaked one. "DO NOT Touch my past or future. EVER. There's a thing there, not even your witchcraft can contain. I know an abjurer when I see one. Calm down Deva, calm down... you're being irrational. Nothing can overcome your seal. Alright. What would Boccob do.." She folded her hands, calming down her erratic behaviour for a long moment.. then she raised her hands, her angels and even flying fortress disappearing, as she seemed more and more thoughtful.
But just who would do such a thing. Is it really her tome?" Deva was, by now, talking to herself, as she pulled out .. a thing. It looked like if one had lodged one locket in another locket, somewhat, as Deva adjusted something on it.
She folded her hands again, this time in more of a meditative, thoughful gesture.

"Now then, who would benefit from such darkness.. Figure it out.. stupid head is too bad at thinking about things.." She kept manipulating the thing, explaining, off-handedly.

"Going back to my original theory as to why the first one was half a tome wielder already.. ugh these tomes sure make things more complicated. Why do I keep presuming evil intent, what if there is no evil intent. AHA! Back to the bacteria theory from earlier. Yes, yes that makes sense. There never was an evil force. it's just an ilness. No, not an ilness, that'd be silly, can't get ill, but.. could get.. yes that'd make sense."
Deva nodded, looking up at the cloaked one.
"First question! When you found your tome, was it somehow damaged, cover cut, pages torn? Scorchmarks?" She pondered. "Yeah one way or the other, we're gonna do this war thing. Because you've proven that you should not be allowed to keep your tome and you're not gonna give it over to me, thinking you're doing the right thing."

Deva then chuckled. "Well, no matter what, now that I have an idea about the real issue, I realize that I need to have taken action long ago. Now, then, listen up! Perhaps a tiny part of you will remember this. When people speak about me, they say to fear me. They say that I defeated an army of dark knights with a pear, that I can't be planned for, can't be predicted, can't be expected. That those that managed to defeat or even enslave me, found themselfs aligned to my vision in the end." She chuckled, pulling forth her broom and folding her hands, casting another spell.

"One says every story has a hint of truth within. For me.. Every story is an understatement. Thanks for providing the spacial tearing though, makes it easier to cast this. Little forbidden spell.. I think I'll have to feed tomey a fair amount of my magical power along the way.. heh, propably all of it. I admit, the last time I cast this spell, it almost rend a world asunder. Buuut, this world is not going to mind, now, is it?" She waved .. and floated upwards.

"Tomey, summon The Dark Sun's sceptre and the ring of the sun from my home.. those two I wont miss. That and all my spellcasting should be enough to help repair the damage this spell of mine will do." She declared, uncaring if the cloaked one saw her, as she flew ever higher, giving Isa a wink. "Eyo, cloaked one, sorry to interrupt things a little, but I got to get a foot up on this one. And I need to make sure you're less afraid of me. You let your fear motivate you into action too much. If I could impart a lesson upon you, then it'd be that Some convictions are so great, the world around them has to break to accomondate them."

She extended her hands, cloak shielded closeby, the two items she had floating up, left and right besides her. "How nice of the cloaked one to provide us with a spacial rift, those are easy to improve into an even greater rift. Looking forward to the next time I meet you, Tomey. I can confidently say that not even you will be able to pierce the veil on this one, if a powerful enough spacial blockade gives you trouble." She chuckled.

"The only one that would even notice something massive has happened, would have to be among the mightiest of Chronomancers. I see no way the cloaked one would employ one of those. Haven't been bonked on the head yesterday, after all." She chuckled, , while at it, trying to find a way as to how it was broken.

"Oh and, if any juice is left after that, Tomey, make sure to keep my timeline shielded from being spied on all over. Now then, let Deva focus, the hard part is not the dream, but remembering it all." As she floated up and extended her arms, the items she had requested, each masterworks of art, disintegrating just to give her more power, as a pillar of light blasted down behind her. "Power never belongs to the strong, Powers just a foolish ruler of man. Good and kindness will always last long, If I just do what I can.
"

It was spectacular on casting, but not on completion. Deva simply woke up, yawned, stretched, and hopped out of her hammock. She cracked her neck. "Well, well, well. Time to have some fun." Now that she knew the true source of the danger and how it operated, she could take it easy in most regards.. she just had to leave, briefly. And thus, she tapped her tapped her crystal necklace, actually pulling it off, together with a feather from her poket.. and summoning herself: "I need you to get me a few things.. you should still have spells. I don't. Letting you have the anchor to our divinity too. I can't exactly use it anymore."

Then she wandered out, .. and met the cloaked one again, for the first time.
"Hoooh! Good morning! It's a beautiful day today isn't it.. but just so that you know it, if you try to invade this place, you're gonna make me all grumped up." She pointed at the cloaked one, showing a tongue.

"You're acting all casual as if you didn't know me, but you've centered an area of silence on me to isolate me and examine me, while the rest of your army invade, don't you? You don't wonder why this story is so small or if it has an end, you wonder how I can be here. Well, I -was- on holiday." She huffed a bit.

"Holidays over, I guess, bubblegum? Anywhooo. I'm Deva, I'm completely harmless with not a power but my broom to my name, and you don't want to hurt anyone here, got it? No matter our goals, being kind is more important. I guess I'ma go do heroic things, eh? Don't bother stopping me yourself, what could I do." And by everything the cloaked ones tome did tell her, Deva was powerless.. but many magical means prying into her history just failed. Special, yet not.

Deva wandered into the village, inwardly cursing herself for not noticing the globe of silence the first time around. She really had been dulled from lazyness and trying to fight serious.

Next was..

"Why hello there, kinky. Lesser demonling, but that goo you use doesn't just enslave, it also enhances, doesn't it. Well, keeping these two things together, must cost some effort. I bet you can't dance.. Uh.. ah.. tcha tcha .. do the angel-boogie!" Deva cheered, bopping back and forth and spinning past her foe. Thanks to Mulji and Mortema, she knew exactly how fast the goo could move. How it could ripple. And she danced and twirled past, winking at the demon, waving. Admittedly, she was hit by the goo not once, but twice as she continued sneaking through the city, no rain.. no disrupting the attack. The goo slithered into her.. making her nice and receptive for further goo-touches., with distant fantasies of being smooth and slick and slimey under its influence.
"Laters. I need to go see your boss."

The fight against the lewd tentacle'd lady happened most the same, while Deva picked up a few pebbles, then she entere'd the mayors home.

And all went the same, except she flicked a pebble, at the mayor, the moment she tried to cast her spell. "Thing about spellcasting, takes focus. A newly learned spellcaster like you can't really maintain a spell for long, can ya? I mean you can overwhelm me with numbers.. but you seem rushed about something.. pebble!" She enthused.. though the superior numbers against her made her struggle, even without spells, while she was being groped and groped back to slow down her 'attackers', she was once more outfitted with the living suit, this time, relaxing,.. she knew its motivation, after all.. and her calmth allowed her to overcome her lust.. even if she decided to keep the suit.. for later adventures, perhaps.

She approached the cloaked one again this time, just as she complained about the chaos and destruction being useless. "Haha.. I must be the weakest hero you've ever met, didn't manage to slay a single demonic lieutnant of yours, actually, had to sneak past a fancy succubus doing something with goo that was, lets be frank, quite the turn on, shame there's no mistress that's all into that, y'know."

"But I've done something, because something prevents you from converting this place, something you can't explain. It's this piece of bubblegum, actually!" Deva blew a bubble. "It is..." She waved her hand dramatically.. "Nooot froom this wooorld! Neither am I, actually, we create a spatial anomaly that blocks whatever you're trying to do from workin' right. Sorry. Also, make sure to ask those demons you occupy what happened to any demon that challenged me. I mean.. I guess you researched me already, yet you're here, and you didn't even get me a cupcake to try and pacify me."

And Deva awoke, meeting Serp and Olivia. She played along, acting the unknowing one..
"Alright, Olivia, I have a feeling you're not that good at direct conflict, but can you give me a little hand researching a few things. Serp, you look like the type that always wanted to learn about just how tomes work. Oh do take your time, but make sure you start right away, that illusiory story plan I have is more of a little trick to get the cloaked one to spent some time, I suspect they can see through it.

I especially need to know if one could damage or corrupt a tome itself, somehow. Just.. out of curiosity." Deva adviced.. and traveled on.. she also pointed. "I know you're there, fairy. Just too curious on new arrivals not to peek, arent you?" She chuckled.. no one should have been able to spot the fairy. Especially not someone completely without magical power like Deva. How could she possibly have known?

The encounter in Robyn's world remained much the same, except, Deva simply -asked- the guards to let her pass, hinting that she was a pilgrim, connecting notes on different religions and researching.

She approached the posessed Robyn, chuckling ever so slightly as she was challenged to battle, lifting her broom.
"Geesh, you posess a powerful duelist, and all I have, is this broom, no fair at all, guess I have to surrender.. I mean. I got no magic, so... the only thing I got to go on is that you changed the hue of this whole place, propably to be more intimidating.. except, .. you're a shadow-mage aren't you. And using such a spell costs you a large amount of your own power. So there's something about the color scheme that weakens you.. or rather,.. empowers your host.

Welp. The opposite color of that on the glass is.. oh yes. Turquoise! See, I was wondering why that decoration was everywhere but on the leaders outfit. Wondered so much infact, I stole one of your carpets. So I'ma fight you with a carpet. rawrr!" She declared, throwing the carpet with Artimediose's symbol on her opponent. "Angeel... final move! Carpet Devastation!"
She declared, playfully, rushing forward and grabbing her opponents shoulder. "I bet your mistress would be even more approving if you could take posession of me, eh?"
she encouraged.. an the fight went on pretty much the same, except Deva claiming that while powerless, in her mind, she could have any power she desired... and this time, she actually noticed the mote of corruption, her mind free to focus on other things, not destracted trying to be competetive.

The goo world-revisit was great fun. And Deva could still talk with plants, having given herself this as ability. This time, when she approached Narcissus.. she mused.. ever so subtly.:

"Hmnn.. I dunno. Rebellions are such messy, ugly things, you know? I pride myself in greater aesthetics.. but I think no one could ever understand me..." she shook her head. "Anyway.. I am rather undecided.. how about you let this Azalea prove in a one on one fight that you lot can actually do what you say you can.. and I come back to you later? I kind of don't want to discuss things in this damp cave, it's a nightmare for my hair you know."

She then focused on Azalea. "Oh geesh.. I don't think I can beat you. I mean.. look at my feet.. all barefoot.. I never even hurt a single plant... so fighting an avatar of nature just feels wrong. Can't we just talk it out? Here, how about this, you probe my mind, and if you find I have ever done nature wrong I will submit to your judgement.. aand.. bonk on the head!" She offered.. and gave Azalea a harmless knock out, as soon as she had gotten the dryad to trust her.

"Come on come on Isa, no being horny all day! We got worlds to save!" She enthused.

Next, she had to get to the fire godess.. except, this time, she simply demanded of the guard the right of challenge, claiming she was a great warrior.. and annoyed her until she went to 'speak to the godess' to let her in. Deva wandered inside, waving at Valerie, meeting her for the first time, and hiding the hidden, great yearning she had had. Plus.. she had to admit, the wolf was even more impressive.
"So, I have decided I made up my mind, I don't think this rebellion against the cloaked one is for me, can you tell your boss.. oh you aren't part of it.. forget what I said...." She cleared her throat.

"Anyway.. I'd like to challenge you to a physical contest.. but I am far weaker than you.. all I got is my broom and my wits. would you promise to fight fairly and hold back.. no godess power, just a duell between two warriors? Awesome!"

Next, she used the tome to help her find the ice-godess quicker.. and challenged Neith, just as comical as she had before. She had already figured that fantasizing about something else overcame Neith's greatest poison, after all. No need to threaten her brood. But she did animate the little spider-tatoo, explaining: "You use poisons.. and granted, you are propably faster and stronger than me.. but I can neutralize all your venoms, giving time. I'm a healer, after all. Anyway. I think I have bad news, you'll be attacked.. but don't you worry..."

The encounter with the illusory godess went all the same.. after all, entering Deva's mind was still a tricky place to go.

Mortema's fight was a bit trickier. The world now saw her as human.. so it was easy enough to provoke her into using her final form, however, rather than use Xarkana.. Deva just evaded.
"You know, that power will burn you out faster than you can.. eep.. catch me. Also, your attacks are very lineal. You want to destroy humans so much.. you must be afraid of them.. what happened.. no.. I know what happened. You trusted a human and he hurt you, how many points for Deva?" Then, she tilted her head, doing something none had done before.

"Come out, Narcissus, I have good eyes you know. Take her away before she hurts herself or messes with my hair. Sorry I've been blabbering, ok, I thought Someone as.. athletically impressive as Valerie had been in the rebellion. On second thought, my mistake, she's a bit dull with all her fighting for honor and all that nonsense. Shame she isn't more about fighting and fucking, that seem to be her primary strenghts, like mine is talking and yours is looking quite snazzy. I think I pull off the cloak pretty well myself, what say you?

Anyway, sorry Mortema, you are truly mighty, but you are too busy hating me to defeat me. If that makes any sense. If you wanna win over humans, you gotta understand 'em first."
She chuckled.

Next, she was with the pirates. She could still -teach- magic, even if she had none of her own, of course. The enemy pirate captain was spared the fate of being a cute bunny however.
What a loss for him. However, because time could not be reversed 100% always, he had a strange craving for carrots, from this day on. At least his eyesight was impressive.

Tabitha was one of the more intimidating foes Deva had to face, however, this time, she watched out as the curse was cast. "Y'know.. I dun know how to do magic, but I -know- magic. And that map you had was cursed. And you are hiding. You wouldn't happen to be using a time-delay curse right now, would you? Everyone! Drop your weapons! Surrender, right now!" Deva smirked.

"Curse magic trades power for conditional influence. That means, it can't control what someone does. Now, if I were a very powerful mage worried about pirates.. I'd use a spell that can turn their own hostility against them. The way you fight reveals that that's your curses nature. You don't want us -not- to fight and struggle.. you could just teleport upstairs. You want us to try to fight you and fail. If we don't touch the map.. we don't get cursed. If we don't fight you.. whatever powerful thing you just cast wont have an effect either. Even your fire-barrier has rules.. 'don't cross me' Am I wrong? Anyway, mistake you made.." She winked, and opened the chest, containing the curse-piece. "I have a string!" She declared, coiling a small string around the map, and then.. twirling the string-map like the worlds most useless impromptu weapon, against one of Tabitha's guards.. who were already enslaved, so touching the cursed map did nothing.

"Now! We peacefully retreat. And because you only have curses, you can't -stop- us. you can only make us walk naked, hop about, chicken noises.. and so on. You don't have a single spell that is not a curse or defensive, right? No magic that could cause harm.. I can respect that, of course.. But we're still gonna walk out and this story will take its course. Oh and.. dun use your guards to stop us, we could tickle them to death.. HAH! also, other pirates are likely gonna help us break out anywhooo.. I dun mind hanging out with the pirates further if you wanna keep going, but now that I know what you can do, perhaps best you retreat and report, eh? Laters!" She waved to Tabitha.

Next.. was Fortem and Praesidia and Masochs world. The Ninth. Deva used her tome to attract the two, then chuckled, claiming to be a traveling godess from another world, and explaining to the two that pretended not to listen how divine powers worked, hinting what they had to sacrifice, a god of war, a godess of peace, for their end in this world.

Then, she approached the tent.. unthrown, this time. Without magic that could get hurtful and her wings were not that functional. It was not hard finding Masoch again, subtley weaving shadows around herself to avoid the eyes of the swarm.
Again, she stood her ground against Masoch, .. because someone had to. But this time.. welll.. she kept the cock. Without all those spells in her mind she could ignore the lustful whisperings.. but she agreed that fucking Isa sounded like fun.
"But first, let's improve my shaft a little, alright? I want it nice and fat and ready to hamn.. pump that slut full.. Hmnn.."
When she went with the approach, fucking Isa, just as expected.. they tried to subtly implant a swarm-creature into her and bind and encourage her with tentacles.. there was no need for greater precautions. Even if Deva had somehow won against all agents, she had never shown to be any danger, powerwise. Plus, she clearly enjoyed her angelic prick and her nicely-swollen angelballs.
That was when she revealed her shadow-magic, capturing the worm and smirking.
"You know.. I do not have any magic. This is a gift.. from an old friend. combining darkness and light, I can control the shadows, like Isa controls eyes.. Not any shadow, but EVERY shadow."
She mused, fat cock oozing cum over Isa.
"But you lost, really.. it's a shame.. if she had turned me into a proper cock-slut I might have fallen for it, buuut.. you restrain them all, their potential, by binding them to this swarm."
She had mused, using the tome to, regretfully, dismiss her shaft, for now, returning to a cute, angelic pussy as she touched the worm. "Telephatic connections go both ways, you know." She mused.. and forced her mind into the swarm.

Without her spells memorized and keeping her mind occupied, Deva wrestled for control, her mind against thousands.. and she was slowly winning, threatening to overtake the swarm.. until they were forced to retreat.

Then, she napped briefly, and returned to the lands in between.
While Narcissus still tried to destroy them, perhaps he was just a little less vicious. Deva challenged him.. and unleashed her broom, declaring, with regret that she could not let him pass.. and cutting him, he had never seen Deva as a threat, and was suprised with the burst of speed and the angle she knew to penetrate his shield with, somehow. She asked for Isa to help out wear him down and slow him down, lacking firepower of her own... still, fighting her, it was almost as if she knew exactly how he fought already, just from briefly seeing him...

When he summoned Valerie, again, Deva was.. quite enticed... but with a whisper to her tome, the real Valerie began struggling through, growling at Narcissus.. and giving Deva the opening to strike him with her released broom.
This time making him clumsy and making sure his hair would never look quite right. His forcefield was easily overcome. She had seen how they worked all too often after all and it was easy to take Narcisuss by suprise, for the harmless angel.

When Mortema and Lucifer were summoned she chuckled, rather than using her Macabre dance, she had set this up. "Ah, as anticipated, an arch-devil leads the rebellion. Lucky i prepared, ain't it." She mused.. as several circles began lighting up all around them. "Nine-fold protective circle of the Nar-Demonbinders. I think you know what that means. You get to watch. I mean.. unless anyone happened to know your long lost true-name, then they could command you do three tasks as they please. Being a demon sure has its perk, immortality, eternal revenge, posessing people, immense power.. but such power always has a price tag, What do you think? The whole 'I have many names' is a protective measure, really. Your real name.. is Lucifer Morningstar!.. Just kidding" Deva chuckled, and pointed:
"Helel ben Shahar! I, Deva Undon, have bound you and by your true name I command you! To the best of your ability, and without killing or maiming them, or harming anyone but those named, defeat Azalea Cloverleaf, Narcissus and Mortema.
Then, release that body you have claimed, never take posession of her and do not try to harm or diminish her in any way! Finally, return to the cloaked one, confess all you have done and planned and await judgement!"

Then, she simply leaned back and waited for the first one to arrive. Shadows empowering her, just so this would not be an instant-death.. and in the hope of the first still wanting to recruit her.
"Haha.. hello, hello. I guess you don't want me.. I don't really have much, powerwise. I can use shadows with more expertise, but little more power than something like Isa, and I got this broom.. thing.. then again, thanks to a tome, even a weakling like me.. can be strong." She sunk into the shadows and opened up her tome.
That armor was set to resist anything. Deva theorized that it could adapt to anything. That would be it's downfall.
"Tomey, before she kills me or Lucifer, do teleport us to Limbo, pretty please.. and make sure she can't escape the same!"

"Welcome! To the ever-changing chaos of Limbo. Where all plans become nothing, and nothing becomes everything. Welcome, to the one arena you cannot control"
Deva proclaimed, presenting the world around her.
This plane was supreme chaos, a twisting, quicksilver place filled with bits and pieces of rocks, trees, the four elements, entire landscapes, strong winds, and random pockets of liquid, solid, or gas. Sentient beings could dampen down the chaos to livable levels and produce a safe environment as long as they maintained concentration. The size of a safe zone was directly related to the intelligence of the individual controller
Deva wrestled her own mind against the first ones, imposing chaos when she tried to create order, and slowing down the insane speed of her opponent, long enough for her shadow-empowerement to keep up, if barely so. But what mattered more was that Deva shot the cloaked one with blasts of lightning, turning into chicken, turning into fire. That her shadow-spikes turned into rain, turned into lava, turned into dandelions, all the while the suit had to adapt to a lack of air, an abundance of nitrogen in the air, fire hitting it, ice covering it from the other side, flowers growing on it, and its color turning purple, under the overwhelming chaos of limbo.

"Haha.. Is that your first time fighting pure chaos? I admit, first time I was here, it confused me too!" She enthused, as The first struck down a shadow-clone of hers.. that turned into a milk-shake.
Deva grew a little worried when the first growled and bent reality itself, clearly.. channeling something. But her tome held against it. And once more, she channeled her spell, this time stronger than before, unleashing a lot.. and suddenly, a large hand came form the sky.
"Welp.. I guess you got too distracted.. used too much.. took too long. Your boss noticed whats going on.. preetty sure she has more power left than you after you exhausted yourself here. Thanks for the.. hah! Hand! I am going to kick your butt still, y'know, I can't have you equipping these folks with the means of threatening a world, if not multiple. Talk to you soon!"
