"The destruction of the heart will kill off the place, it will shrivel away to what it naturally was in about a week's time once the lifeline is cut. The other dimension can't leak inside ours once the anchor is removed." Shizu would more or less state that the heart was indeed what they had come here for. "I have a few talismans still, so there's some explosive power on our side that can make the actual destruction of the heart a whole lot easier. But we have to get rid of the shield pillars and the creatures, the latter won't be too willing to let us just wipe their connector out if they have any say on the matter."

 

[Mind Flayer]

"Mmm... probably not. If we're quiet we might be able to sneak past them I guess. But they won't let us once they find out we're doing it, which I'm sure they'll sense it happening as soon as we start taking them down. Maybe I could distract them a bit, while you two take out the pillars?" Adelle suggested to Shizu as she peered down at the pillars, wondering just what they could do to bring those huge things down.

"If a distraction won't keep them busy though, then I guess we try and pick off one of them, while the others aren't close by, make the playing field more in our favor. What do you think?" Adelle added after a few moments.

 

[Guan Yu]

"I doubt we could keep them away long enough to get the barrier cleared, and even if we destroyed the heart it doesn't kill them. Getting the numerical advantage is what I think is the best way to go, their scattered positioning is a good thing to exploit as they are not that fast." Shizu would offer her opinion on the matter. "But once we commit we have to go all the way, this tunnel entrance will likely grow a door to lock up once we are noticed by the guardians."

 

[Mind Flayer]

"Mmm, well I guess there's nothing for it but to go at them. Let's pick the one furthest apart from the other two. Also, do you think we could coax just one towards us without the others getting wise?" Adelle replied, looking back down to figure out which one was the most spaced apart from the other two, and beginning to maneuver her way around the place so they could go down at it first. "If we can manage that, then let's give it a try," she'd add.

 

[Guan Yu]

"They"ll be aware once we engage, they will alert each other with their psychic connection. Not engaging them in a group is the best thing to do as these are likely the strongest and most durable but fortunately not the fastest creatures around here." the skin-tight miko would confirm their plan, blade at the ready, Taio not needing much encouragement to follow suit, the already bloodied blade in her hand just waiting to drink more. The target was fortunately also the closest one as the other two were more in the back of the room, the girls quickly closing distance as their target noticed them only a little ways off. It would raise two of it's tentacled feet off the ground, the confirmation that it was ready to meet and try to capture them.

"Damn, that sucks. In that case... best not wait around for them to figure out that we're here in that case," Adelle said as she went down towards the creature, loading an incendiary bullet into both of her pistols and making it the first in the chamber to fire out at the thing.

As soon as they'd closed distance, she raised her pistols, took careful aim, and fired at its lower half to try and blow both of its tentacled legs off and immobilize it if possible. If she was able to manage that, Adelle would quickly take aim at its upper half and start unloading her bullets into it, hoping to quickly take it down before the other two managed to close the distance towards them and join the fray.

There would be some results for girls in their initial attack, the shot from Adelle's gun not being quite strong enough to sever the tentacle foot it hit. Shizu's initial go at the same leg did not make it happen either as the carefully spacing miko's sweep was shifted away from. Taio was not that careful though and would leap onto the lower parts of the creature and holding on like an angry tick, a violent stab in and slash out attack quickly removing one of the creature's many eyes as that thirsting blade cleaved it in two.

For it's part, the creature would try to use the wounded limb to remove Taio, four smaller tentacles at the end of the hollow limb acting like a kind of hand as it grabbed and pulled at the girl to no avail. The other fighting arm would be lined up at Shizu, an expanding webwork of white strands shooting out in an attempt to snare her. But the miko seemed wise to this trick and avoided it, the strands not quite stopping at her though as they shot out further, finding Adelle instead. A dozen strands now stuck on her, the busty girl felt a tug as the thing sought to reel her in.

Adelle was a bit disappointed that her shots hadn't done more damage to the creature, but she didn't let it get to her though. She immediately aimed for the more severely damaged tentacle leg instead, and started firing her normal bulets at the thing instead. However, the strands of white... stuff, whatever it was, that shot out managed to gain purchase on her, and she yelped as she was being reeled in towards the creature. A part of her, deep down, was... a little curious what the creature had in store for her. But the more sane part of her said nuh uh, and she holstered one of her pistols and swung her wakizashi out to slice those threads holding and pulling her in.

"Let me... go you vile thing," Adelle grumbled as she tried to get herself free.

The switching of weapons and the delay it caused gave the creature cause to get Adelle in, and a rather violent jerk forward caused her to trip as she was rapidly reeled in, the hand on the tubetacle clamping down on her head as she was sucked in, going through a quick but tight transfer via the hollow limb as she was vacuumed into the creature. When she could make things out again, the busty girl found herself in a personal pit of flesh filled with blunt but obstructing teeth, tentacles and cum slime. The tentacles were already starting to creep on her, but she could still operate somewhat, possibly to attack from the inside or try to climb on the flesh and teeth to the top which was still open.

Outside, she could hear the two others fight, the sound of flesh being cut easily audible among the myriad drips and slurps of her current prison.

Adelle let out a yelp as she was yanked quite hard towards the thing. She let out a grunt as she landed on her stomach, though she didn't stop trying to break free as she slashed her short sword out at the thing. However, it was all for naught though, as the thing managed to pull her in far enough where a large tentacle opened up and began to suck her into it. She tried to grab the edges of that tube like tentacle to hold on and keep herself from being sucked inside.

"D-Dammit... Shizu, Taio, get my guns and shoot them if you can!" Adelle called out, dropping all but her alien gun since it was in her backpack, and her wakizashi, which she held on tightly to.

As soon as she fell into the beast's belly... or at least she could only assume it was its belly, Adelle let out a grunt, followed by a gasp. "Sure I was curious. But that doesn't mean I'm gonna just let you get away with whatever you want," Adelle grumbled to the creature and slipped her right arm into the alien gun's slot to hold onto it, and then with her left arm she swung her wakizashi out at the approaching tentacles to keep them at bay and maybe force the creature to spit her back out if she could.

However, Adelle was already in a relatively vulnerable position, as she sat there in the beast's belly without a shirt, nor pants on really, and her legs were a bit spread too as she sat there in the cramped space, not realizing how she had landed in there just yet. After a few moments, Adelle would start to get to her feet to try and climb out of the beast, stabbing her wakizashi into the thing to give her the ability to climb and pull herself upwards.

There was a good bit of back and forth with Adelle and the creature, her blade doing some work as it cut at the inside of the beast, tentacles grasping at her briefly before being cut away in her effort to escape the predicament. She could hear the other two fighting as well, Taio's blade briefly poking through into the belly in a fairly dangerous manner for a bit. But the biggest development happened after that as the monster suddenly lurched forward, going much more horizontal suddenly as it fell sideways to make the escape path a lot more easy to access. Somehow it had been tipped over, but there was no real way to tell from the huntress' position.

Adelle was able to slowly start making her way out, with some struggles. She yelped out in fright though as Taio's blade poked through and caused her to fall back into the belly of the beast as a result. Hearing the sounds of fighting outside, she'd begin to get back up to try again and then the creature fell over. Adelle cried out in surprise and fell forward this time, squishing her big boobies against the interior of the creature. She shook her head and started crawling forward, trying to make her way to the mouth of the beast to see if she could make it out, kicking at the tentacles likely still trying to grab at her and whatnot. She would look around for her wakizashi in the process, having dropped it in the tumbling around, but once she had it, she'd crawl quickly to make it out and help the girls continue the fight.

While there was an attempt at keeping her in there, the monster was not quite at full attention after being tipped over, thus letting Adelle make her way out with some application of kicking feet. With a coat of what was probably slobber as a reminder from the visit to the inside left on her skin, she made it back out to see the fight having developed in their way. The monster had lost three of it's legs on one side, likely to Shizu's longer blade, the reason for the tip over being made clear. And while this made it pretty hard for it to fight, it was still trying. Taio had not given up her grip either, and Adelle could see her still clinging to side, having popped several eyes from the creature.

Shizu would offer up the guns that the huntress had dropped earlier, the arms likely coming relevant soon as the two other creatures were moving up, fully aware of the intrusion of the main chamber.

Adelle groaned softly and would manage to eventually crawl herself out of the creature, after kicking her way out a bit in the process. She didn't care about the slimy liquid coating her almost completely naked body, and only bothered to wipe what was on her face off, and then proceeded to grab her guns from Shizu. She took aim and shot one shot from either pistol into the creature that she'd been inside of moments before, and would then turn on the two that were coming at them.

"Come on buddy... give me one good shot..." Adelle whispered softly to her alien gun as she holstered both of her pistols and pulled the alien gun out and locked and loaded it with the largest of the shots and would aim at the nearer of the two creatures coming at them, and fired, if her alien gun had any shots left that is, which she thought it should still have one or two left.

The gun had three shots available and one smaller egg forming with a quick look into the ammo sack, the gun once again latching onto Adelle's arm as she pulled back on the fleshy bolt of the gun, sucking one of the eggs inside to prepare for firing. There was no difficulty in hitting a thing as big as the incoming creatures, and two quick spike shots would deter the incoming beast as she got direct hits on the many eyes of the thing.

While it tried to fend off the two girls ripping at it, the already injured beast was now little more than feast to their hungry blades, what little resistance it had fading quickly as Shizu simply fended off the attacks at her with careful bladework. Taio was not doing anything that could match her in elegance, her form simple and brutally effective as she just stuck onto the creature and stabbed it over and over, each thrust taking out an eye or a chunk of the creature's body. When it finally stopped, she would jump off, now looking a bit more or less attractive, depending on what one liked, with large splatters of blood and goop on her chest and legs. They were now three against two.

As soon as they had finished the beast off, Adelle sighed softly and got her guns reloaded and ready for the next of the beasts. "Alright girls, three on two now. Let's do this..." Adelle told Shizu and Taio as she aimed the alien gun at the next nearest of the creatures and shot the same at them, trying to take out as many of the thing's eyes as possible with her shots.

As soon as she had shot, Adelle wondered if the alien gun would morph or shift itself so she could use her hand while continuing to keep the thing equipped, and if she could, she'd pull her normal pistols out and start shooting them at their next target. As soon as she had emptied her magazines from her pistols, she'd reload, and draw her blade to go in with Shizu and Taio to try and get some hacking and slashing done again.

With the gap there to enable free shooting for a bit, Adelle made a further easy spike hit on the eyes before her alien ammo ran out. But regular old revolver lead wouldn't let her down either, and with one cylinder's worth she managed to make a mess of the closer beast before her six shots were done. Her other gun was still ready to go, but the first of the remaining two would not get to see any of it as the other girls had made their way to creature, a few key cuts from them ending this other one before it barely managed to do anything. And just like that, they were left with one.

After a violent exchange with the second creature using her pistol, she'd emptied her pistol into it and between that, Taio, and Shizu, they had the second creature down and only one was left. Adelle didn't figure she had time to reload, and holstered her weapons, drew her blade back up, and went in with Taio and Shizu to try and slice into it. She would try and keep herself from getting caught and be as cautious as she could, ducking and rolling when necessary. But she would hound the creature and hope that no other creatures would come out to assault them in the process.

"Shizu! If we take that thing down this place is done for, right? Why is it not more heavily guarded?" Adelle would call over to Shizu as they went at the last creature.

"If we destroy the heart, yes. To be honest I'm a bit unsure about the lack of of guardian monsters, usually even the smaller hives have a stronger guard presence than this. This room is larger than the average small hive's core too." Shizu would share what she thought of the situation as the girls engaged the last monster standing against them. Just like the last one, there was not really much to hold them back, and even as Taio got to struggle a bit with the thing's tentacles trying to take her inside, it ultimately ended with the creature being chopped down by the combined assault of the trio. Just like that, they were alone with the pulsating heart, still sheltered inside it's energy shield.

Adelle continued to aid her companions in hacking down the remaining beast, until it was gone, and Adelle hacked the last tentacle off that swatted at her, and she helped cut Taio free too when it grabbed her also. "Hah... well then, if you're unsure about it, and I'm unsure about it... it's probably best to maintain vigilance just in case. You never know just what might end up coming out when we try and actually destroy it," Adelle told Shizu and looked over to Taio. "You alright hon? That thing had a good hold on you after all," Adelle asked Taio, wrapping an arm around her after they had finished the creature off, and pulling Taio into a firm and somewhat possessive kiss on the lips.

"Alright Shizu... what do we do from here? Just cut into the shield or something?" Adelle asked Shizu, preparing to do whatever Shizu said in order to make it through that energy shield.
