This likely wont happen for a long time, but I am thinking if Sailor Moon turns out well, of trying to run a Tenchi Muyo/GP/War On Geminar campaign using this system. I'll be putting my focus on the sailor moon game for now, but here is a link to dl the pdf for the Tenchi book should anyone be curious. I am also thinking when I do get to doing it, it will be mostly non-smutty; like a 0-2 on the smut scale.

I'm pretty sure i've let most people know by now, but I'll be leaving on vacation Friday. Trying my damndest to keep up with everything until then, but once service drops on the road, it will be best to assume that I'm not going to be posting until the 25th or so. I should be sporadic during that time, but it can't be guaranteed.

Responding to Maiko's in thread OOC question here: I have been thinking that a Youma might show up to break their conversation up and leave it on a cliffhanger.

Given the pace that we're going at, it might be easier on Tenta if we took over the GM job? We'd discussed something like that in PM a little while ago and I think it would be worthwhile to give it a shot. To that end, we might consider just having a thread to ourselves that isn't based upon a particular area, but rather, our narrative.

Would you prefer that I create and run the NPC foe, or would you like to take a shot at it? I'm not bothered with either option, I'll wait for your response.

And Tenta, if you'd really like to still GM, please let us know. I know you said you were having difficulties in a PM to me, so I thought this option might take some pressure off of you and leave you with more concentration on the other threads.

I'd be fine with us sharing our thread's GM duties. For the current point in our thread, I could probably come up with a baddie for the musical duo to cut their teeth on, but I don't have any in mind right at the moment.


On the subject of youma, I figure they can be broadly categorized (I like making categories for crap, so what?) into Harvester, Hunter and Rampager. For people who want to make some up and want some starting points, I guess. Also for my own reference.

Harvesters are sent to gather energy for their respective baddie, but try to do it quietly and usually without killing humans. For the same reason why you don't kill your dairy cows to get their milk, it's in a Harvester's best interest to not take all of a human's energy. They try to stay disguised for as long as possible and only reveal themselves if the senshi discover their operations or if a better opportunity presents itself. Examples: Most Youma from the first season of the shows. Kigakari was originally summoned to be a Harvester.

Hunters are sent after meddling senshi who start causing problems for the baddies. They can have a set target, be sent after any senshi they come across, or be sort of sleepers, set to wait and watch for any meddling activity. They can either be stealthy like Harvesters, staying in disguise as long as possible before springing a trap, or be more like Rampagers, causing chaos in the hopes that a senshi will come to them. Examples: Blue's Silucite seems like a Sleeper style Hunter. From the shows, the Doom and Gloom Girls are Hunters.

Rampagers can also be energy gatherers, but their methods are more smash-and-grab. That is, smash into a populated area and start grabbing humans and draining their energy. Or mind control them, or whatever their goals are. Examples: Though so far only two other people know about her, Aggrekresh is a Rampager. The Seven Shadows from the first season of the show I'd also call Rampagers.

For Anai and Jade's thread, at the moment I think a Rampager style youma would be more appropriate (and more disruptive to their conversation). The Harvester style one that may or may not be near by probably doesn't want to tip their hand for no reason and I'm not sure if either of them would be targeted by a Hunter yet.
