She gave a very short yell of surprise as the darkness spilling from the cup engulfed her. The thick dense mass forcing her to the floor. Feeling it slip under her very skimpy outfit made her gnash her teeth and struggle. Her mind silently cursing at who ever had desgined her outfit and why they had made it so minimal. She shifted and struggled hoping to either move or dislodge the thing from her. Her mind trying to ignore her hieghtened sense of touch and sensitivity as well sa the bone deep cold.
Tempastas struggles but to no avail, her weak frame simply not built to resist against brute force. The skimpy outfit is shuffled out of the way as the darkness coats her body like a second skin. She can feel it touching her already sensitive body, and now its inky molasses-like texture dipped into her lower holes, entering her body and coating her nether bits in what was now a new level of violation. As it coated her down there completely, Tempestas would feel a wellspring of sickly-sweet pleasure, something that felt good but brought with it an inherent feeling of wrongness and corruption. The flowing darkness slipped up her neck and was now enveloping the back of her scalp and creeping over her chin. Very soon, she would be covered in a dark cocoon that would then pour itself inside of her. Infuriatingly, the heightening pleasure would only continue to increase as the dark magics began to modify her senses further, though for the time being, she could resist whatever foul effects it might have in store for her. She would need help soon, however.
Chalbys was not in much better a situation, for she too was no match in strength for the shadowy attacker who had her in its grasp. She could only wriggle and struggle and hope that her slipperiness would make it difficult for the pentacle king to have its way with her. As this king had no sorcery from a cup to aid him, his efforts were slightly more stymied, though there was an audible rip as part of Sailor Chalbys' outfit began to tear within his grip. It became impossible at this point for the young metal hurler to maintain her control on the cage that held the Scepter King in check, and it fell away, allowing that king to immediately move toward Volcanis and Enceladus.
Enceladus' senshi attack was a focus of all the positive energy that she could muster, a crude but effective blast of her power which she aimed to sweep across the thrones, though focusing mostly on the pentacle throne which she believed that she had some connection to.
As her light beams arced through the air and then bent on a collision course with one another, the four thrones seemed to react, as a thinly transparent wall of crackling dark energy formed. Then, when her beams formed that ball of light and exploded in dazzling brilliance, the darkness reinforced itself, the wall becoming instead a tidal wave of crashing shadow that fought against and sought to overwhelm Enceladus' small ball of light.
"Volcanis Heat Wave!"
Beside Enceladus, her new companion unleashed another display of her previous attack, the air rippling with heat around the sailor scout and her body seemingly producing an aura of warm colors - hues of yellow, orange and red.
Her blast hurled into the shadow, which diverted some of its power to fend off this new attack, but it still seemed quite powerful. The energy blasts just didn't seem like they were going to win out, but the sailor scouts continued to maintain the attack just in case.
"I don't have enough energy for another attack!" Volcanis yelled, her face twisting in a frustrated grimace. "And I can't keep this up much longer!"
Enceladus looked up again to the mosaic and in this moment of panic managed to note a detail in the mosaic that she had overlooked before.
Just before the queens had sat upon the thrones, they were shown surrounded in small auras of light, running through a shadow to get to the thrones. The wall of shadow seemed to originate not from the thrones, but just beyond them. When seated, the queens' power was unmatched.
Body roll fails by Tempestas and Chalbys. Soul roll success by Tempestas. Mind roll success by Enceladus.
Sorry Tempestas if you feel there's not much to do. Gotta work out to get rid of that child's body.
Enceladus and Volcanis are currently maintaining their Senshi attacks, but they are being opposed by a negative energy force that seems to be overmatching them - however it is a wall defense, so its greater power isn't resulting in them getting hit. However, it will be a drain on each girl to maintain their attack each round.
Enceladus' gasped in shock as the dark force rushed out to counter the explosion of light. "No!" she yelled, her eyes growing wide as not only her own attack, but Volcanis' as well was repelled, without even seeming to come close to breaking through the wave of darkness. Gritting her teeth, Enceladus tried forcing more of her energy into the blast, but she could tell that even with their combined efforts, the two girls would fall from exhaustion before the barrier fell. "S-stop, Sailor Volcanis," she uttered, dejected, as she let her hands drop, the energy of her attack fading as she did. "This isn't working, and we'll just wear ourselves out like this..."
Looking back up at the mosiac, Sailor Enceladus gulped as she stared and strained to decipher the painting, desperate to find some way to defeat the shadow creatures. Her heart caught in her throat as she noticed the aura around the queens, then turned to look at Sailor Volcanis. "M-maybe brute force isn't the way to break through that barrier," she said hesitantly, her failures so far weighing heavily on her normally upbeat attitude. "When you use your attacks, you have an aura around you," she hurriedly began to explain, "Just like the queens in that painting." Still going over what was depicted, she realized that the evil energy didn't come from the thrones themselves, but from an outside force. Instead, the seemed to make the queens more powerful once on it. The queens weren't seeking to destroy the thrones, but simply to reach them in order to bolster their strength. "We're going about this all wrong..." she said quietly, furrowing her brow in confusion.
Just then, Enceladus heard Chalbys scream as a rip sounded from her dress. A shiver ran through Enceladus' spine as she realized what the pentacle king was trying to do, and when she saw the cup bearer smothering Tempestas, her hands began to shake slightly. "They need help!" she cried, before noticing the sceptre king advancing on them. Gritting her teeth, Enceladus decided the two of them needed to do something, fast! "Volcanis, you took one of those things out by yourself," Enceladus said, gesturing to the sword king that still hadn't moved from the floor, "Think you can do it again? Try to help them, and I'll keep working on these thrones!"
Turning back to the thrones, Enceladus breathed in deeply, trying to calm herself while working out how she could breach the shadow barrier before the thrones. The queens in the mosaic didn't seem to be attacking the shadow, merely protecting themselves while moving through it. Maybe it was some kind of defense that reacted with a force equal to what was brought to bear on it, and what was needed wasn't overpowering force, but a strong determination to proceed. With that thought in mind, Enceladus stepped toward the thrones, just before remembering the card she still had on her. 'Please help me,' she thought, while looking at the Queen of Coins she had received, hoping against hope that it really was useful, and not a trick the psychic had planted on them. Holding the card out in front of her, Enceladus walked steadily towards the thrones, while saying, "I'm the Queen of Coins, and that's my seat!" She didn't know if this would work, but she had to do something. At the same time she drew on her power over light again, but instead of throwing it forward as an attack, she projected it from her body softly, hoping the shadows protecting the throne might react to it in the same way the kings had before.

Sailor Tempestas gave a slight moan as she felt it violate her. She began to struggle anew as she found it taking advantage of her increased sensitivity. Her mind trying desperately to shut out the vileness and corruption entering her body. Gritting her teeth as she felt the ooze begin to slither up her head, she tried to think of a way to escape. With a slight growl, she focused on trying to electrify the ooze surrounding her body, hoping to stop or burn it.
Tempestas' efforts at summoning lightning dissipate quickly. Every time she tries to concentrate on controlling her element, the dark liquid coating her body seems to sense her efforts and counteracts it with a prickling of deep sensual enervation, focused especially on her erogenous zones. Her body writhes in unwanted pleasure, and the strands of dark liquid push across her face and brush against her lips and nose. She can feel the coldness pressing deeper inside of her below her waist. The sensation is as bewildering to her as it is unwelcome, but she can see no way out of it.
With a look of dejection, Sailor Volcanis ends her attack against the darkness surrounding the thrones and falls to one knee. Beads of perspiration line her brow and her breaths come heavy and deep. The oncoming steps of the scepter king behind her force her to get back to her feet again, her hands clenched into tight fists, unwilling to give in.
Sailor Chalbys continues to wriggle in the pentacle king's grasp, her hands free, she slaps the shadow monster across its face ineffectually. In return it rips across her bodice and then tosses her hard to the ground in front of it, her uniform torn and her chest exposed. She winces and rubs at where the rough fall has bruised her hip.
Through all of this, Enceladus trusts in her reading of the mosaic on the ceiling as being an answer to this riddle. Hoping that the card in her hand holds some significance, she steps up to the darkness holding it aloft and declaring her identity as being the Queen of Coins. As the card comes into contact with the dark wall, it glows with an aura of light, slicing a path through the darkness. Enceladus follows, and soon she too is bathed in the light of the card. A few short steps, and she touching the throne of the pentacle king.
Volcanis notices what was done and takes out her own card, the Queen of Cups, and turns to rush towards the darkness, with the scepter king in hot pursuit. Behind it, the blade king is running in the direction Enceladus, its sword raised menacingly.
As the light poured forth from the card, Sailor Enceladus smiled and began to walk faster. Her elation grew as she easily passed through the shadowy barrier until she was within arms reach of the throne she had claimed. Grinning from ear to ear, she turned to tell the others that she had made it, only to see Sailor Volcanis rushing toward her, the scepter king behind her. Worse, the sword wielding monster was moving towards Enceladus, obviously not as happy with her success as the other girls might be.
Backing up away from the advancing monster, Sailor Enceladus felt the backs of her feet hit the stone throne. She glanced back at it, then back up at the mosaic. She nodded, then said, "Right, here we go," before gently setting herself down in the wicked chair, worried that something might happen. After expending so much of her power so far, Enceladus knew she was in no shape to use her final attack again so soon. But with Tempestas being engulfed more and more in the shadowy material, Chalbys laying on the floor with her top ripped by one of the kings, and Volcanis being chased by another of the creatures, Enceladus knew that they were counting on her to do something about this mess. Taking a deep breath, Sailor Enceladus called on all her power, needing everything within her to defeat these monsters once and for all. The painting on the ceiling depicted the queens receiving power from the thrones, which Enceladus knew she would need, but she had to regain her own energy as well, and hope that she could do something before the sword wielder simply ran her through. "We can do this girls!" she yelled, staring down the approaching king, her body tensing up to avoid his attack as best she could while staying in the chair.

As soon as Enceladus takes a seat on the throne, a column of comingled light and darkness whooshes up around her. From down the hall, the shadowy material of the pentacle king standing above Sailor Chalbys begins to tear and strip away, unraveling the creature into nothingness as the shadow material flies back to join the column. The blade king is unable to approach the column, yet at the same time, Sailor Enceladus feels as if she is rooted to the spot. An almost crushing gravitational pull traps her within the seat.
Volcanis rushes ahead of a wild-swinging scepter king with her card glowing in front of her and turns as she passes through the shadow wall so that her butt slides immediately into the throne of cups, throwing up a column of light just in time to push away the scepter king's lunging strike.
Sailor Tempestas feels the shadowy skin around her body melt away in a sudden rush, and she falls unceremoniously to the ground, her clothes shuffled off to the side but still on her body which is now back to its normal state, as though the chalice king's assault had never been. Her erstwhile foe's body had disintegrated. His shadow matter was hurtling back like leaves on the wind towards the throne that Volcanis now sat upon.
The blade and scepter king, seeing their initial quarry to be safe behind the light columns, took up a place beside their own thrones, preparing to defend them from the remaining two scouts.
Chalbys got to her feet, looked down at her breasts, shot a glance over at Tempestas, and then immediately covered her chest desperately with her arms.
"D-don't look at them! I know you're still a boy!" Her gloved hands reached across her body in a tight self-hug, and her knees turned inward while her face blushed a cherry red.
Sailor Tempestas coughed as the dark ooze suddenly melted away from her face and body. Standing up to her feet unsteadly, and oblivous to the state of her attire as she caught her breath. Shaking her head she gathered her thoughts quickly as she looked up at the thrones and frowned. Turning to Sailor Chalbys, and blushing a little at the state of Chalbys' outfit. "We don't have time for that." Moving over to the other Sailor as she looked back to the two remaining kings.
"It seems we need to get past them and get to the thrones." Speaking kindly to the other sailor. "Can you still fight?" Preparing to defend herself and Sailor Chalbys if the two kings attacked.
Fully expecting to have to destroy the kings with her own power, Enceladus gasps as a vortex of shadow and light swirls around her, pulling in the dark material of the creature attacking Sailor Chalybs. "Hah! Take that!" she yelled as the creature disintegrated, only to quizzically look down at her arms as they refused to lift from the throne's armrests. Grunting, she pulled on them again, then attempted to stand, but only felt an even stronger force dragging her down. "Shit..." she cursed in frustration, before calling out, "I-I can't move! Damn it, I can't move!"
As Sailor Volcanis slipped into the throne next to her, Enceladus looked over and smirked at the sight of the cup bearer disintegrating just as the pentacle king had. At least sitting in the throne had accomplished something. Enceladus couldn't help but laugh at Chalbys' squeal of embarrassment, despite the situation. "Don't worry, Chalbys," she yelled supportively, "We'll kick his ass later! Just focus on getting to a throne! Watching the two monsters approach the throne to defend it, Enceladus grinned as she began to heckle them, hoping to draw their attention from the two ragged looking girls. "Hah! Lost your buddies and now you two are scared, huh?" she called mockingly, "If you two are so big and bad why don't you two turn around and fight us? We shredded your friends, remember? Hopefully her words could help, since the throne wouldn't let her do so with her powers.
Chalbys kept her arms across her chest and her blush deepened as Enceladus chimed in. The shy scout's reaction would be the only thing that Enceladus' words achieved as the shadow kings appeared unmoved by the taunting, standing now protectively in front of their own thrones. Now that the scouts were aware of a method to beat them, the remaining kings were taking no chances.
"Remember, if you kill them, they'll just reappear on their thrones," Volcanis shouted. "So you'll need to get in close and move quickly."
"They're behind that shadow barrier, too." Chalbys observed, quite astutely, to Tempestas. "Any long range attack will likely fail."
Stepping forward, Chalbys took a deep breath before turning to look at Tempestas. "We'll go together? I'll follow your lead?"
Sailor Tempestas gave the other sailor a nod. "Together. We will need to work together. We need to draw them out and disable them long enough to reach the thrones. Remember the chain?" Moving forward and getting closer to the thrones but maintaining a safe distance should they charge. "Still have enough energy to manipulate it? We might be able to use it as a rope and bind them. With a little shock added it should stun them long enough." Her eyes focusing on the two kings and feeling that she had about half her own energy remaining.
The other sailor scout nodded, then adjusted herself so that one arm would cover across both of her breasts, while the other made a lifting motion, like something out of a Star Wars film.
The chain and the elongated cage-thing attached to the end of it lifted up into the air and flew across the hallway. Then, with a twitch of her hands, Chalbys made the chain stop but the cage switch directions, swinging with increased force as if it were a traditional ball-and-chain weapon. The cage hurtled towards the two remaining kings, but landed short, crashing and breaking apart into splinters of metal.
"Oops..." Chalbys winced. "I'm still getting used to it. But I think I've worked out how to levitate things... maybe."
The kings seemed to glance down at the cage, then at each other, then back at the sailor scouts. As one they stepped forward, building momentum, as each of them started to charge the scouts. The scepter king advanced towards Tempestas while the blade king went for Chalbys.
"Oh. Oh dear..." Chalbys whimpered, pointing at the oncoming foes.
Still unable to move from the throne, Enceladus continued to mock the shadow kings from behind. "C'mon big guys! Defenseless young girls right behind you! Come get us!" she called, shifting back and forth as much as she could. Her taunts only stopped for a brief moment when Chalbys launched the once chandelier towards the shadow kings standing before her and Volcanis, afraid the shy girl's projectile might travel a bit too far. "Uh... okay, nice try, Chalbys!" she shouted hesitantly, hoping to keep the girl's spirits up. When the shadow kings began to advance on the two remaining sailor scouts though, Enceladus resumed her loud yelling, "Get ready to move! If you can get past them we've got this thing beat!"
Sailor Tempestas frowned as she watched the cage and chain flail about near the kings. Seeing them beginning to charge her frowned deepened. "Don't hesitate and strike back." She charged toward the scepter king, pulling out the fortune card she had gotten earlier.
Raising the card and showing it to the king in the hopes of making it hesitate just a moment. Using her foot to try and sweep one of the king's feet out from under him and trip him.
There was no doubting Tempestas' bravery as she charged towards the oncoming brute. Though small in stature, Tempestas' willpower shone brightly inside of her, and she felt she had a clever idea to take down the creature. It worked all the time in movies: the bigger they are, the harder they fall, right?
Unfortunately for Tempestas, she didn't take into consideration the way that the scepter king was winding up his mace in an uppercut style, and as she went in for her lunge, she was met square in the chest, the impact hurling her painfully backwards several meters, with her body tumbling and rolling side over side until she came to a halt with a squeak upon the checkered tiles.
Sailor Chalbys, rather than trying to confront her foe in melee, used her elemental control at the last moment, creating steel beams out the floor to make an impromptu staircase which she ran up and over the head of the onrushing blade king. He made a stab at her through the stairs, but missed her by a hair's breadth.
Once she was past and over him, Chalbys created a steel slide for herself, which she hopped onto and slid down to a safe landing, now on the throne side of the shadow kings.
"Don't fight them! Get around them!" she called back to Tempestas before sprinting as fast as she could towards the sword throne, holding out her card in front of her.
It seemed that the shadow kings weren't quite as afraid of the cards, at least only insomuch as they appeared to be keys that would allow access to the thrones that sustained their life.
Tempestas takes 10 damage from the scepter king's strike. You rolled a 9 for your attack and he rolled a 4 for his. So yeah. Not the best run of luck with your dice. Might want to opt for the outwit, not outfight tactic.
Gasping for breath she slowly stood back up, and cautiously watched the remaining kings. Coughing as she glanced at the slide a moment before moving slowly towards the slide. A hand gently holding her likely cracked ribs, as she headed towards the slide. With a sudden start she rushed in the opposite direction. Diving down to try and slide around the scepter king.
Though her vantage point was not the best behind the shadow kings, Sailor Enceladus could tell the blow that threw Tempestas across the room must have hurt. She gasped in terror as the smaller sailor scout tumbled across the ground. "Tempestas!" she yelled, staring as the roughed up girl staggers to her feet. As the girl rose, Enceladus breathed a sigh of relief, though she grit her teeth as the shadow king returned to it's battle stance, ready to strike.
Thankfully, Sailor Chalbys managed to get past the monster coming for her with some quick thinking. "Nice job," Enceladus said softly, still a little shaken at the sight of Tempestas' ordeal, though truly happy the shy topless girl had come up with a clever use of her her power to avoid the creature. Chalbys' suggestion spurred Enceladus to call out, "The ice! Use the ice to slip past him!" Hopefully the ice she had spread across the ground earlier could help Tempestas somehow.
Using the ice that still existed in spots on the tiled floor, Tempestas made to slide beneath the scepter king's attack and get on the far side of it. Her attempt worked to a point, as her change in direction did catch the shadow being off guard and her small frame allowed her to slip past him on the ice... but not as far as she would have liked.
Upon spinning around, the enemy was still quite close to her, and it whipped its club towards her again, the bludgeon now hitting her squarely in her ribcage. Her body went flying and crumpled meters down the hallway.
Although the attack had sent her closer to the throne destination and she was now beyond the scepter king, the damage to her body was starting to pile up. She could only imagine the horrible bruising on her sides, perhaps even a fractured bone. Movement for her would take a determined act of will.
Sailor Chalbys was almost to her own throne with the blade king rushing after her when a look over her shoulder let her see that her companion was in trouble.
With her hand shooting out, the chain that had been a part of the cages slipped towards Tempestas and wrapped around her ankle in a quick knot. The stunned sailor scout could sense the scepter king reaching for her, its shadowy claws uncurling as it made to grasp her by the arm.
Chalbys used her elemental control to tug on the chain and bring it taut, and then swung on it hard to bring Tempestas sliding across the hallway, tumbling towards the thrones and the shadow wall.
Though her efforts had saved Tempestas momentarily, the cost of Chalbys' action had been that the blade king was now upon her and her attention was no longer on him. The other three sailor scouts however were aware that the shy girl was in imminent danger, but two of them seemed powerless to stop it.
"No!!" Sailor Enceladus yelled, distraught at the sight of Tempestas being struck once again by the sceptre wielding king. "You bastard! Why don't you come try that with me!" she began to yell again, though more angrily than mocking this time.
Grunting and straining against the force holding her to the throne, Enceladus continued to shout at the shadowy monsters, hoping to do something to help the two endangered sailor scouts despite her current predicament. The metal controlling sailor's quick thinking brought an eager, "Good job, Chalbys!" When she noticed the dark king bearing down on her with his sword, though, her tone switched to a loud shriek as she yelled "Move! Chalbys get to the throne now!"
Sailor Tempestas coughed harshly as she slid closer to the thrones. Weakly wiping away blood from her mouth as she stood up clutching her bruised and batter side. Mavoing backwards towards the thrones as she turned back to keep on eye on the remaining kings. "Tha..." Her appreciation falling short as she saw the blade king advancing upon Sailor Chalbys. "Run!" Shouting as she stretched out her free hand.
Sailor Tempestas quickly used her elemental control to unleash a bolt of lightning. Hoping to strike the king's sword or hoping the sword made a good lightning rod. Praying silently that it would stun the king long enough for the other sailor to get away.
