Re: Reviving Waymeet (Glenn;Ryu)

The answer the golem gave was simple and succinct. And illustrated a earlier point that Queen had mentioned before. The naughtiness of Artificial souls she created, assuming that this person was one of course. "Oh umm... thanks. I like your clothing too. It's... quite eye catching. In more than one way..." He replied and then whispered. A moment passed before he continued. "You must be an infiltrator golem correct? How long have you been around? I recently fixed up this golem, who was discarded by an inept master as the story was told to me. Since we just met how do you think I've done so far." He asked the pale girl while guiding Jill closer to her, slipping an arm around the mute golem's upper back and guiding her from the side. "She used to be of this model and was in some serious disrepair. In that golem pit... I still can't believe Queen just... tosses golems away like trash." The man grumbled, his disapproval leaking into his voice.

Re: Reviving Waymeet (Glenn;Ryu)

She gave Jill a once-over. "She looks incomplete. On the inside." she stated. "I detect no traces of your semen inside of her either, so I assume she does not know how to please you." she stated.

"Golem bodies are just husks. Just like your own body that your soul occupies. Once your soul leaves your body, it no longer serves a purpose. Why do you care about that which has no soul?" she inquired. "Once you die, would you prefer your soul or your body taken care of? Golem souls are treated in the same preferred way. Recycled, and reprogrammed. Just like your soul likely was many times over, by the Heavens who might have rejected you for not being loyal enough, and sending you back with a fresh start to see if you become loyal."

Re: Reviving Waymeet (Glenn;Ryu)

"Her soul was designed to learn so it's a continuing process inside." He stated to the pale girl, and when she mentioned not detecting his spunk inside her he felt his skin tingle from some warmth. He couldn't say for certain if she didn't know anything entirely. Even if they hadn't done anything she had been there in the room with him and Sona. Sitting or laying there on that table as he and Sona were occupied for the night. He could recall at least one instance where the two of them had been quite energetic, Sona wrapped around him while the both of them sat up in bed together. Glenn thrusting while Sona dropped her hips in a rhythm with him. And there from the table he swore he caught glimpses of Jill staring at them, rather than off into nothing.

At the pale girl's question about the husks the man straightened himself up. "I care that people get treated right, while they live and even when they are no longer with us. And tossing someone's remains away like that doesn't settle with me. Regardless of if they are flesh or metal or hell if they're just nothing but energy floating in the air. Everyone deserves to have proper last rites." Glenn let out a breath before shaking his head. "Maybe I just don't understand because I'm not from here. But it doesn't seem right to treat golems less than people when their souls can end up indistinct from one. I know machines, I worked on plenty of them back home. And a machine can't consider how beautiful the stars look at night. Or how beautiful colors are, or what their favorite one is. But you can can't you?"

Realizing that he was starting to make a scene in the empty hallway, he once more shook his head. "Sorry, I'm bothering you now with this. I should probably get going huh? Before I start saying more nonsense." He chuckled softly. "Have a good day, and take care of yourself and your master too ma'am." If the golem didn't reply Glenn would escort his group away, down the hallway towards the front desk. "How about some fresh air? This will be the first time you've seen outside of this sterile mess won't it Jill? When we get back to Waymeet, you'll be seeing so much more. I hope it won't overload your senses. And I hope Moei will be around too. I wonder if she knew you from before..." He pondered aloud, deciding to stay close to Jill and continue to guide her with a hand across her shoulders. An ever present thought ringing in his mind that in order to help her grow her soul he was going to form more than one connection to the mute golem.

Re: Reviving Waymeet (Glenn;Ryu)

The pale girl seemed a bit overwhelmed by Glenn's rant as she cocked her head to the side, and then went straight when she was asked about stars. "I am aware most consider stars beautiful. I do not feel anything when I see them. Though, as Fortmaster Queen would say... It's because I was not designed to." she declared. "I do think however, that you may not be incorrect. If you were to design a perfect replica of a human soul, it is my assumption that there would be no difference. However, I am far from human, sir." she stated calmly. Then gave a bow as he left.

Walking to leave the factory, Jill kept a glance in his direction as he spoke. Otherwise she faced forward. Once they were outside, Glenn would find that he was rather inexperienced with how the Magi facility worked as he went through a door and a woman was soon calling out, "Don't just walk out you dumbass!" shouted a woman in similar Magi clothing wearing a black hard hat while sitting in the torso of a bipedal golem seemingly made of rocks. She seemed to be carrying a mold for a glass cockpit, and Glenn was right in her path. Immediately, Glenn found himself being scooped up in Jill's arms like a princess, before she dashed out of the way. Meanwhile, Glenn heard Sona let out a noise of surprise before the golem's foot slammed down on where she was. Jill soon let him down, allowing Glenn to see a Sona colored carpet on the ground with a gigantic golem footprint on it.

Reforming into her human shape, Sona was woozy, and her colors and hair looked mismatched and wild as if she just got out of bed. "Why didn't you save me too..." Sona said wearily. Jill then tapped Glenn on the shoulder, and pointed to the orange line the golem was walking on, indicating that it wasn't a road, but a caution line that pedestrians shouldn't walk upon. Meanwhile Sona slowly stabilized, having lived through getting crushed by a lethal amount of force. Naturally frazzled.

Re: Reviving Waymeet (Glenn;Ryu)

Glenn was in for a rude awakening the moment he stepped out into the open. He hadn't gotten more than a step or two past the door before he heard the golem operator swear out at him and found himself right in the path of heavy equipment bearing down on him. Luckily for the man, only a moment later he felt himself lifted up, Jill grabbing him and darting him out of the heavy duty golem's path before he was squished by the thing's foot. Unfortunately for Sona she wasn't so luckly. He heard the mimic's call of surprise before hearing the foot drop down. Leaving a weird puddle of multicolored carpet in place where Sona had once stood.

He had little time to feel awkward about being carried like a princess when his companion was now just a puddle on a floor. When Sona managed to reform herself, albeit wobbly and shaking he gave a sigh of relief. "Don't take it personal, I'm sure she was just prioritizing the less elastic of us. Though in the future try to keep everyone in mind Jill. Not everyone is gonna be so resilient." He told the golem, before she pointed out the markings on the floor to him. He glanced at it, and then the exit a few times before his face twisted in annoyance. "Who the hell designs an exit door like this so close to a machine traffic area? Are they trying to get people killed? Something tells me these Magi could learn something about good social design and safety regulations."

Walking back over to the frazzled Sona the man helped guide her a few steps until they were back out of the path and next to Jill again. He then held a grip on her shoulder as he looked her over inspecting her, still concerned that she might have suffered some greater momentary harm from the event she just went through. "You gonna be okay? That was a bit more excitement than I was expecting from just stepping through a door." He joked, before giving the mimic girl a hug to help steady her through the experience. The gentle fuzzy feeling of energy leaking out of him flaring up the moment he moved closer to her, a deep breath slipping through his nose as he indulged her.

Re: Reviving Waymeet (Glenn;Ryu)

When Glenn mentioned for Jill to save others as well, she gave no understandable response. Though when he mentioned safety guidelines, she pointed to the yellow lines on the ground. One almost immediately out in front of the door. Ahead, the golem was strictly walking between the two yellow lines. That, and they went through an unconventional exit. Jill managed to somehow convey all this with just pointing.

A bit flustered, Sona seemed a bit shaky on her feet. "Y-yeah... Just a bit startled." she replied, before giving a surprised noise when he hugged her. She soon embraced him in return, one arm hugging his back, and the other his waist, so that her hand could slip down and grope his ass, patting it a bit while enjoying the feel of it, all while grinning like a perverted old man. Watching the two of them, Glenn would find Jill hugging him from the back as well. One arm went around his chest, and the other around his waist, so that she could slip her hand down and grope his dick, patting it a bit and enjoying the feel of it. She wasn't grinning though.

"So... Did we have a destination in mind, or is this okay?" Sona inquired. Jill hugged Glenn tighter, as if insisting it was okay if they just hugged for a while. Meanwhile, Glenn was starting to feel faint from both of them casually, and slowly, draining his energy from proximity while they enjoyed the feeling.

Re: Reviving Waymeet (Glenn;Ryu)

Suddenly being sandwiched between both Sona and Jill with their natural tendency to wick energy had as much appreciable effect on the man as he would expect. Originally intending to just give Sona a brief hug, he found himself now mentally struggling to remain conscious. With Sona exploring her favor and Jill's touch working blood southwards with every grope it was further a challenge. "W-well I was hoping for someplace a little more... green." Glenn answered the mimic with slowed speech, his body trembling with an errant shiver or two. "That or to see what other places are around here. It can't just be this one robotics factory and dorm. Maybe we s-should follow some foot traffic and see where they head off to?" He suggested weakly to the both of them, feeling less in control of things the longer the both of them remained wrapped around him and more 'unfortunate' as the moment dragged on.

Re: Reviving Waymeet (Glenn;Ryu)

The girls backed off after having their fun, but Glenn's lack of refusal made them enjoy teasing him just a little longer. Even Jill seemed to be on the sadistic side of things when it came to teasing him. Soon enough, they listened to him. When he spoke of what he wished, Jill seemed to get an idea, and took Glenn by the hand, leading him through the busy factory city, with all its bells, whistles, and whirring machinery. It's a good thing Jill communicated physically, as often times Glenn wouldn't be able to hear her over men and women shouting at each other, creating even more noise over the sound of metal grinding against metal, pounding against it, and sawing it in half. Sona followed along behind them, ending up taking to becoming his hat again.

They went through the city and found a more quiet place. This seemed more like a living district, with the sounds of the factories in the distance still shooting through the air, but quieter so after ten or so minutes of walking. Even more still, until they reached a metal railings that did nothing but stop dangerous progress off the mountain, while allowing the full view of what lies on the other side of the mountain.

It was like he entered a different universe. From the lush, tropical beach that Waymeet was, he was now standing before a barren desert, hopelessly ridden with signs of what once was. Buildings shattered to pieces, chunks of stone that seemed to once be masonry, a vast sea of what seemed like a blank slate. A world wiped clean to never be reborn again. Despite them standing before the desert, a chill wind blew past Glenn's cheeks. Once leading him here, Jill said nothing, merely pointing to a bench for him to sit if he wished, while they were free to stare at what seemed to be the end of the world. Indeed, the literal end. As if this was the line drawn where the world simply ended, and nothing more lies beyond. Just vacant oblivion and sand.

Re: Reviving Waymeet (Glenn;Ryu)

Glenn felt a sense of relief once the both of his companions ended their teases. He wasn't sure how much longer he could have held himself. Especially after Jill seemed to become more forceful as the moments passed on. Her hug becoming more intense as did her groping. The man had felt almost as if his knees might give out. Taken by the hand, he allowed Jill to guide him through Magi city, past the cacophony of industrial noise blaring from all around the party. Coming from all manner of projects that the men and women seemed to be employed on, the subjects of which the man couldn't place exactly with a mere glance. Though if he had to guess, a lot of them seemed like construction projects for buildings or maintenance of one sort or another.

When the sounds had died away they had traveled far enough through the city to reach a place of much greater calm. Some kind of residential area it seemed. Only after some time of walking further did the sounds cease entirely, and when they did that was when they came upon the guardrail to the edge of some divide. Glenn found it was no mere drop, but an overlook to a vast barren desert that seemed to stretch on forever. When he had asked for someplace green or another, he had to admit he wasn't expecting to suddenly run into a sight like this. It was almost cruel how scenic such a desolate sight could be, but for the time he spent looking towards it the man stared as if compelled.

He acknowledged Jill when she pointed out the bench and he took a seat near the middle, taking the reformed Sona hat from earlier and placeing it on one side of himself while the other remained empty for Jill. And there he sat back and remained captive to the empty sands. "I haven't seen a desert like this one in a long time. It pays to stay away from places like these and leave it to the nomads. Even with magic the sun and sands show no mercy." He commented, surprised by pleasantly that the air was chilled. "I remember this one time Ajira, this old beastman-feline associate of mine, she and I ended up lost in a desert much like this one. We were turned around for days being scorched by the hot sun as we tried to make our way back. We almost thought the worst, but then it actually began to rain into this huge storm. And then we were afraid we'd be cut down by lightning." He laughed shaking his head at the memory. A twinge of a knot forming in his stomach at the thoughts of his old life being over, his face grimacing ever so slightly. "I'd take the grass steppes of home over a place like this any day."

Re: Reviving Waymeet (Glenn;Ryu)

When Glenn spoke of his last encounter with a desert, Sona spoke up. "There's more to this desert than what you see, Glenn. A long time ago, if you were to look over this mountain, you'd instead see a rich, green land full of life and people. Then, a great war occured, and tore both sides of the mountain apart. Both sides ended up looking like deserts after the harsh conflict of magic tore apart reality itself. Then, something happened, I'm not sure what, and suddenly all of the land we just came from was brought back, even the people who died in the war. However, this side was left untouched... Barren." she said from the comfort of his head. Though to speak, Glenn noticed she changed into a pocket sized Sona, a tiny girl was laying on his head.

Though, as he gazed out into the desert, Glenn caught a most unsettling and bizarre feeling. It felt like he saw something, way out into the desert sands. It was too far away, and the heat distorted the view too much to tell mirage from reality. However... For a brief instant, he felt his gut sink, a feeling of dread settle in. For just a moment, it was as if all he could see was a pair of ruby colored inhuman eyes staring directly at him as if they were no more than an inch aware from his face. Their shape reminded him of a dog's eyes, and they were set into a tanned face, whose lips nor nostrils he could see. Just the eyes.

The sensation was gone as quick as it came, leaving Glenn to merely see what looked like a large group of something heading into the mountains. Given their choice of direction, the Magi HQ was not their goal, they were heading northwards, to a place Glenn might recall being called the lands of Zippangu. "Glenn?" Sona inquired, gripping his head a bit harder as he was leaning forward slightly more than he was before, and she was trying not to fall.

Re: Reviving Waymeet (Glenn;Ryu)

Listening to the pocket sized Sona, her story of the history of the desert was an interesting tidbit even if it was a bit tragic. Having such a green and lush land lost to some kind of magic conflict. And for it to end up becoming this barren place? He'd rather be looking at another lush green land but history hadn't been so kind to this side of the island it seemed, whatever it's reasons were. Though the history quip left the man crinkling his face in slight confusion. "Is that so huh? I didn't take that you knew that much about this island. Is that what you were doing while I was working on Jill? I didn't get to read all that much this last week that wasn't technical manuals. My nighttime reading hours were a bit occupied..."

The shimmering heat of the distant desert played tricks with Glenn's eyes, making it hard to focus on some points one moment, and then another the next. He was just about to give it a rest when he happened to feel his gaze settle on something. He couldn't tell what it was really; it was more like his brain caught something ahead of himself. But it made him feel odd, and wary. And then he saw it in a brief glimpse, of something that was too impossibly far away from him to actually see... and yet he was. A pair of ruby inhuman dog-like eyes piercing through him, far away as they were and yet to him they were but inches away, attached to a tanned face he couldn't recognize. A dreadful visage that held him hostage as his gut fell and his breath caught in his chest.

And then it was gone. Leaving just the desert and it's empty sands once more. But Glenn knew that feeling he felt, as he had felt it once before. Whatever he just saw was out there in the desert, and he was sure that it had seen him as well. Glenn gave a big breath of relief before leaning back, away from the rail he was nearly leaning completely over by that point. "Please tell me that you just saw that face with the dog-eyes too. Or at least tell me you can see that!" The man exclaimed, pointing out the band of people heading out of the desert. Somewhere northwards from the looks of things. "Even without the history lesson, I've got a bad feeling about that. That doesn't look like a caravan train or simple nomads. A group like that from this distance looks like... a group of marauders."

Re: Reviving Waymeet (Glenn;Ryu)

Sona hummed. "Well, I didn't think I'd know this much. I just realized I knew the truth about this area's past. I have no idea where I learned it though. I have no idea how I know language, and weaving either. So I guess this is just one of the mysterious mysteries of my creation!" she just shrugged and left it as a mystery that would never be solved. Though when Glenn gave a start, both the girls with him were looking at him. "Uh... Dog eyes?" Sona inquired with confusion, before looking down into the canyon. "Oh, I do see people! I can't make out anything about them though. Why does it bother you so much? We don't even know who they are." she shrugged.

Just then, Glenn could see Jill's eyes flash and threads of magic were sent darting towards the group. Five seconds passed in a mere moment before those very same threads were suddenly overtaken with even more rapid speed, as if a bullet seen only by the untrained eye went straight for Juli, and caused a mini-explosion with the source being her face. Juli fell backwards, before pushing herself up with her hands. Her face seemingly fine mind a small mark. Such a quick spell was thankfully not that powerful. Sona, however, was struck with shock as she let out a yelp following the explosion. "W-what in Hell!?" she exclaimed. "What just happened? I wasn't paying attention, why did Jill blow up?" she asked. Though blow up was putting it in an extreme way. The golem was fine, it just seemed that whatever Jill tried to do, the marauders below retaliated.

Re: Reviving Waymeet (Glenn;Ryu)

"Looks like those people didn't like being scoped out." Glenn commented at the sudden turn of events, catching the quick back and forth of the two surges of magic. He wasn't sure exactly what Jill was doing, but he guessed she was trying to catch a better look at them through magic. He hoped that was the case; if she was actually trying to start a fight that would be pretty premature. The man had his suspicions, especially with that whole vision that passed in front of him, but Sona was right. He didn't actually know if they were friend or foe. What he did know now was that they weren't up for people interfering with them, even from afar. And that they could at least use some semblance of directed magic with quite some accuracy.

Moving to the fallen golem, Glenn twisted his lips a little at her. "I like your enthusiasm but sometimes it's good to show a little restraint. It's a little earlier to be casting magic at people don't you think?" He asked Jill as he offered to help her up, and if accepted he'd gently pull the golem girl back to her feet. For a moment after he'd eye the mark on her forehead before without even thinking fully about it, bringing his hand up to her head and gently summoning a light healing magic into it. Mirroring almost how she had patted his head earlier, albeit with the added woosy feeling that came from the recent constant exposure he had been receiving as of late.

Once he was satisfied with the healing he'd lower his hand to golem's shoulder and gave the girl a smile. "What say we get a move on. As nice as the view is I'd rather not be shot at by magic bursts or scary visages. At least not while trying to relax with some company." He regarded her normally for a moment but then felt his face warming ever so slightly. Even stoic as she was there was a kind of cuteness to it that left the man captivated temporarily. And again, without even thinking about it consciously he moved once more. Pulling the golem into a hug that was meant to be quick, but ended up taking a few seconds longer than he originally intended. Whether by his fault or not. "I think it's about time we give Isabel a visit. If that aircraft is up and running I can think of a place to give it a good test flight." Whether those desert travelers were friendly or fiendish the man didn't know, but at the very least a test flight near wherever they were going could lend some valuable insight on what was happening. At least before they decided to head back to Waymeet in the future...

Re: Reviving Waymeet (Glenn;Ryu)

Trying to use healing magic, Glenn would find that to heal a golem, it was surprisingly simpler than healing an actually living being. Reinforcing the metal, stitching the 'skin' back on, and giving her shape the similarly human shape it had before only once again brought to light how truly fake her existence was. A moving doll with a fabricated soul. Soon enough though, Jill's appearance was repaired. Though as he went to help her up, she reached her hand out, and Glenn didn't account for the fact that she was made of pure metal. One tug, and Glenn was pulled down. He fell on top of the golem in a suggestive position. Her breasts pancaked against his chest as she stared back at him with emotionless eyes. A female Magi passing by commented, "Oi, don't do that in public, you loose man." she criticized him.

"Hey!" Sona called out. "Glenn is not loose!" she shouted in his defense. The magi just stared at whoever said that, before deciding to just leave, unaware that a tiny Sona was yelling at her.

Meanwhile, as Glenn lay atop her, he felt her grasp his ass for a moment, before standing up, lifting Glenn like a princess, before setting him back on his feet. Then, she started walking off on her own. Glenn was free to follow, and if he didn't, she'd turn around and make a gesture with her hand for him to follow. No doubt he would, and it would turn out she was leading him to the factory, where he'd come to find his ship had been dissected and greatly reformed. It's base shape only seemed to remain in the center. Otherwise, it had an entirely new cockpit, new wings, and a new addition of engines in the back to give it four engines total. The two big ones remained to give it that forward thrust, but the two additional engines were smaller but seemed to be on bizarre pivots. It was as if they were meant to be turned in many different directions to give alternate directions of thrust. How? Well, Glenn could guess. Either way, the vessel seemed to have been altered with the idea of combat in mind. The windows at the side of the cargo hold were seemingly altered with the idea of combat in mind. Two intimidating looking guns were on either side, allowing gunners inside to shoot out from them. Isabell was underneath the ship, almost missed from being amidst the other engineers who also had the bizarre mechanical spider legs that she had attached to her back.

She was moving her four spider legs as well as her hands, weaving with six limbs at once, an act Glenn couldn't dream of doing that helped him understand the difference in skill between the two of them, and helped established why she was the head scientist and now leader of the Magi. She seemed like the most reliable person working on the ship, often even overseeing others miscalculations in the weave while focusing on her own job. "Redo that, the metal isn't sealed properly there and the g-force will cause a fracture if you leave it like that." she explained. The man working on it gave a nervous gesture and quickly fixed it. Not just him either, everyone seemed very nervous around Isabell. Panicked even. They seemed to be moving carefully, knowing they're being watched. To the point where when a man like that made a mistake, it seemed like they were afraid. After fixing the bottom of the ship, Isabell went to the back to inspect the new engines. Getting a closer look, Glenn would see the old engines were revised as well. They looked like oddly styled metal barrels now, with no obvious way to tell how they would give forward motion. "This hasn't been calibrated correctly, one turns more than the other, I told you fools to communicate with each other. When will you start listening?" she criticized the engineers.

"S-Sorry Fortmaster Queen!" two of the total of eleven engineers apologized. "We'll fix it immediately!" they said in a rush. Their faces were red with panic while Isabell's spider legs reached up. "I've already fixed your blunder. If I see one more mistake, you will all be punished as a group. So, you'd best not leave any more of such grievous mistakes behind. Otherwise, if the crew of this machine dies due to a malfunction, you will be charged with murder." she said coldly. Their faces paled, though seemed to be familiar with the rule, as if such was the life of a Magi engineer. Do not endanger the lives with what you create, or you might as well be committing murder.

Then, noticing Glenn entering the absolutely gigantic factory and approaching them from afar, Isabell would turn and come to greet him. Thus far, it'd have already taken him a few minutes just to walk through the Hangar large enough to fit a handful of waymeets inside of it. So when he got closer, she finally realized he was there. "Master Doppler, your ship is nearing the conclusion of its improvements. Trust me when I say that this vessel will be far superior than your last." she announced, before looking at the golem he was working on. "... Well, I won't judge an unfinished product. Even so, there is still more to be desired from the joints you gave her. You modeled her seemingly with the weaknesses of humanity in mind. Don't be so foolish as to include faulty design just because it fits the theme of what you desire. As it stands, if I were to put too much pressure on her arm, it would snap like a normal human arm. I expect you to at least reinforce the joints if you're going to use a half-circle pivot like that. Honestly, she's barely looking better than when I saw her before, mind the polish you put on." She chuckled, before leaning forward, giving Glenn a better sight of the woman's massive cleavage. "Unless, all you're looking for is a woman?" she inquired.

Re: Reviving Waymeet (Glenn;Ryu)

Once the initial wave of embarrassment settled from not accounting for Jill's metal weight, as well as for being commented at by the one lone Magi who just so happened to be walking by at that precise moment, Glenn loosened out a cough at his being picked up once more and then followed after his golem companion. His mind already stirring with a new direction to aim in adjusting the golem girl to prevent such incidents in the future. He wasn't exactly pleased that he couldn't simply lift her after all, at least not without the purview of magic to assist him. There was also the issue of her repairs that hung on his mind. Having to be serviced for every little ding might get quite cumbersome, and there must have been some way to automate it that he could construct. Even something built in as well.

The sight of the refurbished aeroplane was a visual delight to the man, even if it wasn't a direct restoration. The previous design as far as he was aware had been an old cargo transport and small passenger craft that had been thoroughly gutted. To give space for all the mission equipment that had been fastened on board for the pilot and his crew. Radio tech, sensors, analysing machines and god knew what else. It was the only part of the aircraft neither he nor the other mechanic were allowed to touch, not that he'd even know how to fix the damn things. The tech was newer than anything else that had been on the vessel. With how gutted the aircraft had been he was surprised they even had seats to sit in. And with Isabel's changes he was almost afraid to see what would be replacing the formerly bleak interior.

He eyed the changes wearily however, as the Magi had clearly not modeled the craft after a simple transport design. An open cockpit and gun nests were clearly indicative of that. The addition of the four engines with two on weird bizarre pivots made the man assume the vessel would probably be more maneuverable than the previous one. Isabel's saucers were seemingly maneuverable with basically nothing; sure chance than arcane engines would pump out some power behind them. He found himself eying the magi woman with strange interest as well. Watching her weave with that spider-like apparatus that was harnessed to her. Everyone of the people working on the plane had them but the way she managed to coordinate all her hands and 4 of the limbs poking out all at once was... disconcerting. It almost made the man envious that she could do such things. If he were only back in his prime maybe he'd have a chance...

"I think you could have strapped a bunch balloons to a chair and that alone would have been an improvement over that rusty old tin can." Glenn joked, taking a jab at the plane himself. "I've got to say it actually looks like something that won't just fall out of the sky the moment it hits a cloud now. And I see you've added some... armaments. Well... hopefully we won't have to use those..." Following Isabel's comments about Jill, the man would look over at the golem in question to gauge her response, which would probably just be a blank stare, before turning back to the the Magi head. "I hope that doesn't mean that I've failed your test. She is 'technically' capable of everything you asked. And things should only get better with the ideas I have in store. Joint adjustments included..." He pointedly added quickly there after, given her concern about how fragile that point might be and wanting to please her perfectionist mindset. It was far better than what had been there before with that other engineers work though he was sure, but she was right that a little reinforcement might do wonders.

As for your other point well... I'd rather avoid making the mistakes the previous guy did. I'm just trying to work out golem design and how to best work them, and see where things go from there. Besides, if that was my main motivation this island isn't exactly unkind on that front. In the short time I've been here I've already met some pretty interesting, smart... and capable people. It looks like that trend is continuing too." He said as he scratched his head and fidgeted under Isabel's teasing postered question. Following that, he would approach towards the craft to get a closer inspection of it without getting too close to bother the engineer's space. "I never thought I'd like this tin can, but you guys are doing a great job. Keep up the good work!" He encouraged them offhand, letting his eyes roam the panels of the ship for a time.

After a few moments he turned his head towards Isabel, "When do you think she'll be ready to fly. I'm itching to take her out for a test flight. A problem though is I don't really know a good place to take her. You wouldn't happen to know of someplace north of here that would be a good candidate would you? A town or a village or something." He asked with intrigue. "They wouldn't just shoot this thing down because of the guns on it would they?"

Re: Reviving Waymeet (Glenn;Ryu)

Isabell laughed when he said he wouldn't need them. Then, she said nothing. She just laughed.

"No, you haven't failed my test until you say that you're done. Granted, there IS a time limit, even though I usually don't set one. Things get done when they get done to ensure absolute perfection. However, in case you haven't been looking at the sky, the Heavens are about to come down upon us. The time limit is until our destruction, essentially. So, chop-chop~" she chuckled. Then, even more amused when he mentioned the denizens of the island. "Indeed, they are not unkind on a certain front, but men do it anyway to create a more preferable girl. Not that women don't do it as well. It's all about creating something meant exactly for you, instead of having some feline or other thrust at your loins."

Isabell hummed. "It's almost finished. Building a warship as small as this one is far easier than building a capital ship or a golem. It's all the little things that this thing lacks that makes it so easy to create, especially with the only complicated part being the pilot's training. I hope you will flawlessly adjust yourself to flying with Magi tech, it's nothing like that... Caveman approach of levers and buttons that I saw in that cockpit. Honestly, if you factor in the amount of time it takes to see your enemy's movements, reach for the right device, or move your finger to a button... Precious fractions of a second are lost in conjunction with the already undesirable human reaction time. It could take you an entire second to properly react to a threat, and by then you're already dead. With weaving, you control your ship in the blink of an eye, all you need to do is react and the speed of light will handle the ship's instructions with your weaving. This kind of tech is why the magi are so feared." she boasted. "Even the speed of our piloted golems strike terror into those who oppose our devotion to science."

When Glenn asked about flying up north, Queen snapped at him. "You will NOT fly North, unless you have a death wish, boy." she snapped. "Anything flying in the sky that doesn't have the power of a god is shot down as a general rule for lack of reason. You speak of the lands of Zippangu, where the gods of this world sleep lazily. Nobody but the desperate travel there, especially not us Magi. Until we better our society of scientists, we cannot match their raw, idiotic power that they throw about so casually. So casually indeed! That their realm is in a state of utter chaos from the misused powers of weaving. The vegetation is rarely green, the magic of the gods there shifting, and changing that part of the world on a whim. Green, red, purple, pink, blue, black, white... I've seen the grass there cover the entire spectrum. Zippangu is a land of chaos. Do not venture there unless you fully accept the likely reality of vanishing to that land forever."

Re: Reviving Waymeet (Glenn;Ryu)

"It kind of loses the appeal of finding someone special when you can just... make them though. I'd more prefer meeting someone, and being surprised..." The man commented with a quiet voice and a wistful look.

Glenn zoned out when Isabel started regaling of Magi superiority, though he did get her message. He wouldn't have to worry about mundane control systems when he flew with her design. Given how everything liked to sap the energy right out of him though... he pondered whether that was a good thing. At least with some normal controls it wouldn't matter if he was running on fumes himself; he'd still have some manner of control. All the instilled years of the virtue of manual backups was a hard thing to shake too, and his mind was already running through some ideas for some emergency controls to work into the design. When he was properly away from the Magi of course, and back among the village of Waymeet where he had come from. And where the others were still waiting for him to return.

The man froze for a moment when the magi head suddenly snapped at him, then turned his head with bemusement. Especially as she went on about the mystical lands of Zippangu. "The Magi don't travel there? With as magical and mystical as it sounds... it sounds like it'd be right up your alley. It also kinda sounds like some... industrial pollution effects I might have seen first hand before... back home..." He mentioned briefly, before shaking his head and turning back to Isabel. "Look, if you don't want to tell me the locales up there that's fine. They won't be a mystery to me forever though. There are a lot of things I intend to find out about this island, and the people here. Sooner or later. And I'm not gonna let a little fear of magic or getting hurt stand in the way." He stressed letting his eyes wander over the guns of the vessel once more. His hand subconsciously running down his jacket over one of the bigger bunches of old scars he happened to have were located.

Re: Reviving Waymeet (Glenn;Ryu)

Isabell rolled her eyes. "Ah, yes, yes. And you've been plenty surprised so far, or am I wrong? Though it wasn't quite the good kind of surprise now was it?" she chuckled. "Face it, Glenn. Surprises are for those who didn't plan ahead." she stated firmly. "But if you want to risk losing not only your freedom to some supernatural of Zippangu, then that is your choice my dear." she said with a slight grin. "But, do not forget the fact some of the most powerful and frightening mamono that exist are within Zippangu. To meet them is to be subject to their mercy. Granted, you and I share a similar idea, but only when I'm dressed in golem armor powerful enough and with enough allies at my side to make up the difference between us." She declared that she'd only visit Zippangu if she was marching there with an army and the best possible equipment she could wear. "But, I do not honestly know much of Zippangu. Never explored it, and people I sent there went missing so much that I stopped. However, you are free to go, and see if you do not join them." she chuckled.

She then lifted her hand, directing it to the vessel. "Hopefully you know a thing or two about weaving? Care to take her for a flight?" She peeked at the other areas she critiqued. They were fixed already. "She looks fine. Only one way to find out if the inside was done properly too. Rest assure, if it wasn't, then these engineers will be held accountable." she declared. Though it seemed she was keen on staying off of the vessel. "I'll be in my office whenever you wish to speak to me further, and I'm sure you will, Master Doppler." she grinned knowingly. "And when you do... Come to me alone, will you? The last thing I will want is a third wheel."

Re: Reviving Waymeet (Glenn;Ryu)

The man raised a brow at Isabel's last request before she ventured off, especially with the choice of words she took, but eventually just took it as innocuous phrasing. After all, there was nothing inherently suggestive about having a private meeting with someone to simply discuss things surely. That errant thought that the island might have been warping his mind aired it's presence once more before rescinding back where it came. He quietly rubbed his face and eyes to shake himself back to focus, before turning to look and inspect the aeroplane himself once more. He had to admit he was interested to see just what the Magi had done to the inside... and whether he might have to make quite a few tweaks to get it feeling like his own like he originally wanted.

"What do you guys think? Is it gonna be blindingly white inside of this thing?" Glenn asked both Sona and Jill, before making his way with them to the entrance of the plane and stepping through. After it was clear to the work crew that a test flight was in order of course. Once he reached what constituted the new cockpit of the vehicle, the man would look for whatever control mechanism that Isabel had installed in place of all the mundane controls that had once been the center of it's movement. Which would probably be another of those hand platforms like on her saucers if he had any guess about it. Though if it was he already had plans to modify it with some kind of seat...

At the control panel, he'd take a deep breath to steady himself before working his magic into it to get a grip of how it actually felt to pilot such a device. Once he felt comfortable enough, he'd gently test the various directional movements of the plane; going up just enough in the large hanger to give clearance to test such things. Forward, Backward, Up, Down, Diagonals, Turns and just enough of a Twist and Pitch Up/Down without going entirely off balance to calibrate how it work perform. After a few such trials he aimed the vehicle towards an opening in the hanger bay, and slowly began gliding his way forward. "Here's hoping this thing flies better than the last ride I was in."

Causally Glenn guided the plane out of the hanger and once he was clear he ascended upwards a considerable height. Enough that the Magi city sprawl was clearly visible from the open cockpit bubble that had been installed to replace the last one. It was quite a sight! To see such sprawl, but not just that. To be so high up that the earth itself was laid bare. He could see for miles in the current visibility. Across the vast mountain chain, and even into that desert it bordered. And he could glimpse the start of the lands to the north, though the beginning of forest that to his naked eye didn't look all that different from any other he had seen before. Though it definitely wasn't as tropical looking as the southern most forest they had ventured from.

"I've been in blimps before but I can't say I've been in something that could be this stationary so high up." Glenn commented, before scratching his head. "Well, there might have a hot air balloon or two but this hardly compares. With this we can go practically anywhere! Except maybe the ocean." He mused before looking back at Jill, who was probably just staring off into space. "Hey Jill, I don't suppose you natively know how to pilot something like this eh? Knowing Isabel she probably weaved all manner of innate knowledge into her souls. If only she weaved other things too." The man sighed.

Re: Reviving Waymeet (Glenn;Ryu)

(Inspirational Music - )

As Glenn peeked inside, he'd see that the interior was repainted. It wasn't white, but rather a royal blue. The bag looked pretty spacious, a lot of the compartments and what not taken out in favor of passenger seats and space for guns on both sides to be manned. So, the ship had an expansion in the back with it's own ramp that had the ability to lower on its own if Glenn pressed a button far to the upper left of the other cock pit buttons labeled "RAMP". It had enough space to fit a large bed room. For now, it was empty, and it filled Glenn with the urge to collect all kinds of random and pointless materials he'd probably never use and store them inside.

The cockpit had a single heavily braced seat inside that had enough support to ensure that the entire cockpit would need to split in two before the seat would budge. Similar to what he expected, there were odd orbs of lightly shimmering blue color on either side of the arm rests. When Glenn touched them, he could feel like he could move the wings, wiggle the smaller engines, and there was a single deep source, like an empty well, that would power the engine if he poured his magic into it. Though, there was also another power source, almost like another soul interacting with the ship. Glenn would find that an artificial soul like Jill's was put inside the ship, created only to respond to Glenn pouring his weaves into the engines to power them so that it can pour its power in, saving him energy.

The ship proved to have an immense amount of maneuverability over his last ship. This new ship could fly, do spins, fly upside down, and do turns on a dime. With a wonder like this, Isabell was still yet fearful of something shooting her out of the sky when she could command such movement. In comparison, this ship was much faster than the tea cups, able to clear the distance back to way meet in just thirty minutes at top speed.

Jill, hooked into one of the seats for safety, would nod at Glenn following his question. Confirming what he asked. As well, looking in the direction of Zippangu would be a surreal act. It'd be hard to describe what he saw, as even if he focused on a specific spot, the word to identify what he focused on would no longer be true. It was like a mass of wildly shifting colors, a kind of sight one could get lost in with how bizzare and chaotic it looked. Twas as if it was just a sea of vegetation and indecision of what it wanted to be. It'd be easy to say a single tree swapped colors several times if he just stared at the forest for a minute. To a Magi no doubt, it served as a giant warning beacon telling them not to come over there.
