Mostly by using the way he came as a reference. The tracks should be pretty straight if I'm not mistaken, so he should be able to make his way back based on that.

Have been thinking on this and wondering if I should be a jerk and make Nyktan make some survival checks in order to not get lost. I'm still not decided on that, so any suggestions would be appreciated.

The DC wouldn't be very high to follow his own tracks back, but if he fucks it up he's possibly quite badly boned and MAF basically wouldn't be in ye next session, which could be very irritating for him.

So, logs are updated. Editing them is a pain... if anyone has any suggestions on how to automatically prune all non-impersonated lines from the log, I'd be very open to that.

As for Nyktan, he'll make his way back to the group at the start of the session. No fondling for him (yet).

As I told Maiko, I'll be unable to attend the full session tomorrow. I will be attending a football at 4:30 PM EST tomorrow and will be leaving for it at 3 PM EST. So I apologize in advance. I'll either attend for as long as I can or not at all.

I by no means wish to attack you for it, but walking into an underground cave dungeon filled with healthy green grass leaves a little to be desired. I can help you with that.
