General Info
Okay, let’s get some general information out there before I get to the story. I will update this post with more info as necessary.

Link is male. He will never grow boobs or a vagina. Nor will he take it up the ass. There will be porn though. Trust me.

This CYOA is set 250 years after the events of Twilight Princess and I will leave the exact way things played out in the past quarter of a millennium a mystery for now. Although TP is the basis for the setting I will be pulling in lore from all over the franchise. In Zelda tradition, the locations of most important areas have been shuffled around, but will remain familiar.

Mechanics
There may be some dice rolling on my part, but there is no formal RPG system governing this CYOA and I intend to keep it that way. Do try to think strategically about Link’s abilities though.

Link’s physical and mental capabilities are represented by three statistics: Power, Courage and Wisdom. The average value for each of these is 10.

Power is Link’s raw ability to affect the world around him. This affects physical strength, endurance, personality and spell power.

Courage is Link’s mastery over himself. Courage affects accuracy, agility, personality and mental fortitude.

Wisdom is the strength of Link’s mind as well as his connection with the supernatural. This affects perception, strategic thinking, spell power and learning.

None of these stats have hard rules for how they work, but I can generally say that a character with a Courage stat of 14 will be more composed in battle than someone with a courage stat of 8.

Link has 4 categories of combat proficiency: Swordplay, Grappling, Archery, and Magic. These go from level 0 (untrained) to an as-of-yet unspecified level. You will not be able to max out all of them.

Swordplay:
Best at: multiple targets, close range.
Bonus ability: public image. (Link looks more like the dashing hero.)
Primary attribute: Courage
Secondary attribute: Power

Grappling:
Best at: single target, close range.
Bonus ability: sexual prowess. (Gain the dominant role in sexual encounters.)
Primary attribute: Power.
Secondary attribute: Courage.

Archery:
Best at: single target, long range.
Bonus ability: mounted combat. (Horseback archery.)
Primary attribute: Courage.
Secondary attribute: Wisdom.

Magic:
Best at: multiple targets, long range.
Bonus ability: dungeon utility. (Magic breaks puzzles.)
Primary attribute: Wisdom.
Secondary attribute: Power.

Simple Version of the Rules
'Other' is always an option. Tell me why you voted the way you did and good things will happen.

Re: Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess CYOA

Though the Gerudo Desert is named for them, the Gerudo tribe does not actually live in the desert. It lives on the desert’s edge, in homes carved out of the tall cliffs that surround it. This does not mean that the tribe is unversed in traversing the desert, for they often venture into it to raid the rare traders that brave the heat in pursuit of profit. Living out of the harshest conditions just makes for a more pleasant daily life. For Link, the only male born to the tribe in centuries, daily life was more than pleasant. Especially today for he was to be formally given rule over the Gerudo.

Link did not look like other Gerudo. Of course his gender was the biggest difference but his features were generally un-Gerudo-like. Link’s skin was more tan than brown, as though its dark color would simply fade if he stayed out of the sun long enough. When accompanied by his shaggy blonde hair and bright blue eyes his appearance was enough to make most doubt that he was a part of the tribe at all. However, elder Koume had witnessed his birth personally and could attest that he was indeed of Gerudo blood.

At the moment, Link was staring down at a shining example of a typical Gerudo. Vivid red hair, tied back into a ponytail, occasionally tickled his calves. Sharp yellow eyes met his as the girl slowly pulled her lips from his cock and grabbed the hem of her translucent silk top, pulling upwards to reveal her dark, voluptuous breasts. She lowered herself back down and sandwiched Link between them and launched into a very skilled tit-job. Link groaned slightly and leaned back, appreciating the Gerudo’s ministrations. Pleased with his reaction the Gerudo smiled for a moment before opening her mouth and breathing hotly on the tip of Link’s shaft. She slowed her movements and allowed her one of her hands to slip from her breast and run lightly over Link’s testacles. This managed to illicit a louder groan from Link and the girl smiled broadly. After letting the tension hang for a moment she brought her mouth down, and began working her breasts in earnest.

It was not long before Link came explosively. The girl tried to catch all of his seed, but then Link’s hips bucked slightly, dislodging his penis from her mouth causing several jets of cum to shoot across the room before the girl managed to get her mouth back over it. Link smiled as he watched the girl close her eyes and struggle slightly to gulp down all of his seed. He basked in the moment for a bit before dismissing the girl. It was time for a bit of a nap before the ceremony this evening.

A little less than an hour had passed and Link couldn’t sleep. He was getting restless and wasn’t in the mood to call his attendant back. Maybe some exercise would do him some good.

Re: Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess CYOA

Option C. Sparring is likely to be more physically taxing than that of archery, allowing Link to get rid of some of that restless energy. And as he ain't in the mood for his attendant either, and that most of his potential sparring partners are likely females, getting close and personal in the ring would be a waste if he ain't in the mood to go all the way through with it. Grab a sword and fight the horde(of Gerudo women)!

Archery is more calming while still being phisicaly tiring. The concentration involved will also quiet the mind. That and I prefer ranged combat.

Re: Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess CYOA

Winning option: C) Head to the armory for some sparring. (Link starts with an extra level in swordsmanship as well as stats that compliment a swordsman)

Having decided where to go, Link stood up and stretched, reaching an impressive six feet, two inches tall. He reached into his wardrobe and drew out a white cloak, cream colored leggings and sandals. After donning these, Link buckled a breastplate and sword belt over his cloak and then strapped vambraces to his forearms. His left vambrace was light and simple, made of black leather, while his right one had a series of steel plates running down the back for additional protection.

Now clad in Gerudo armor, Link grabbed his scimitar from a holster under his bed and set off towards the armory.

It was only a short while before Link was walking through the armory’s entrance. He proceeded past the rows of scimitars and more exotic weapons, trophies from raids around Hyrule, towards the sparring ring at the far end. As was typical, there were a handful of people watching a fight going on while maintaining their weapons or preparing for their turn in the ring.

Link turned his attention to the fight in-progress. He was quickly able to recognize Aveil, the woman who had been teaching him to wield a sword from the time he could walk. This was due less to her distinctive fighting style and grace in the ring and more to the fact that she wore nothing but a cloth wrap around her chest.

Most Gerudo had at least a small amount of modesty in public, but Aveil firmly believed that shame or modesty was no excuse for not doing absolutely everything she could to win a sword fight. Clothes were, after all, a liability for they offered a handhold to your opponents. If she could shed any weakness along with her clothing, then she would not hesitate to do so. The only reason Aveil wore even a chest wrap was in order to subdue any jiggles that might interfere with her movement.

It was only a minute or so before Aveil caught her opponent overextended and sweep her front foot out from under her. In the brief moment her opponent spent regaining her balance, Aveil’s sword flicked up to her throat. Both fighters were still for a moment before Aveil’s opponent declared her defeat. Only then did Avail relax.

The Gerudo swordsmaster walked to the edge of the ring and looked around at the crowd. She spotted Link and called out to him, “Hello Link. I thought you were supposed to be preparing to become a king. Getting cold feet?”

“Not at all,” Link replied. “I’ve been told not to interfere with any of the ceremony preparations so I’ve had nothing to do all day.”

“So you’ve come for a diversion,” Aveil said as a scheming smile appeared on her face, “Join me in the ring then. We’ll see if you can graduate from being my pupil before you become my king.”

“It would be best to establish my superiority early.” Link quipped, sporting a smile of his own.

“I’ll have to beat some of that cheek out of you,” Aveil shot back. “Now get in the ring before someone else claims it.”

Link felt more at ease already. He was able to joke like this with a few of the older Gerudo who had a close hand in his upbringing and Aveil in particular was pleasant to talk to. He took a dulled training blade from a nearby sword rack and put his own in its place before walking into the ring. Link faced Aveil and held his sword at the ready in his left hand. Aveil adopted a similar stance, but with her sword held in her right. The fight was ready to begin.

Re: Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess CYOA

Option B, from what we saw Aveil is quick to make her opponent pay for slipping up and making mistakes, thus we should avoid following suit. Slow and steady wins the race, besides, we're here because we're restless, so no sense trying to finish things quickly. Let's enjoy the spar for some time, perhaps try to exploit a flaw in Aveil's fighting style if able to. We didn't come here to get down and dirty, we would've gone to the wrestling ring if we desired such.

Re: Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess CYOA

B

Legend of Zelda features two types of enemies. Mooks and Named Monsters. Most mooks are simple enough to quickly dispatch or avoid, though some can be more hassle than others. Named Monsters are usually almost unique, though some have siblings to be faced again. They are as much a puzzle to overcome as they are mighty warriors. Classic legend of Zelda combat trainers promote being careful and paying attention for an opening. This is a very important habit that Link will need to face the Named Monsters later on. Not every enemy can be pounded into submission in a couple a strikes, and being quick to dodge, parry or block gives time to observe for weaknesses.

Aveil has also spent a bit of energy in a previous fight.

Winning option: B) Fight defensively
Voting bonus! This battle is won automatically and Link starts with an extra point in wisdom due to votes by Smokefish and the_taken.

The sparring ring fell silent as Link and Aveil stared each other down. Neither one showed any indication of making the first strike. A long moment passed with just the two of them staring at the other. Link knew Aveil was tired from her previous match and was using this time to recover. He couldn’t let this continue, even if it meant taking a risky first strike.

Link took a quick step with his left foot and his sword whipped towards Aveil’s head. Aveil simply ducked under Link’s blade and slashed at his side, but Link’s steel vambrace was already there to deflect the blow. Aveil continued past and did a quick pivot, just in time to block a second strike from Link. This turned out to be a mistake as Link’s strength knocked her arm wide. Link didn’t miss the chance to follow up with a punch that had Aveil bending over backwards to avoid. This then became a roll as Link launched another attack at her legs. Aveil let her momentum gracefully carry her to her feet and then charged in.

The two exchanged blows for several minutes without either landing any. This didn’t concern Link. He was slowly getting lost in the fight. His muscles were screaming from continued exertion but he ignored the pain, instead relishing the feel of being able to use his body to the fullest extent. Link’s senses sharpened, distractions like the handful of spectators seemed to vanish and time seemed to lose meaning. There was just him and a worthy opponent. Link felt alive.

Aveil was getting tired. Every time Link struck she had to deflect it or avoid it lest she have her guard blown open again, and Link was going out of of his way to force her to move, consuming even more energy. Every time Aveil found an opening in Link’s guard, his armored forearm was there to stop her, and then Link would counter forcing her to expend more energy to avoid it.

Link’s face broke into a feral smile. Aveil was making mistakes and they both knew it. She dodged a slash at her chest too slowly and Link’s blade nicked the cloth wrap, exposing part of her breasts. Later she was forced to block a punch with her free arm, leaving her with a nasty bruise. Distracted by the tickling of her slowly unraveling chest wrap Link’s opponent didn’t quite evade another strike leaving a bleeding welt on her hip. Slowed by these small injuries she made more errors and gained even more injuries. At this point, the rest of the battle was simply formality. Link had found a weakness in his opponent and exploited it ruthlessly until there was no recovering from it, just as he was taught.

Link struck out, this time at his opponent’s sword and knocked it wide. He followed up with a vicious backhand, sending her sprawling. Link was on top of her before she could recover. One knee pinned her hips to the ground. Link’s right hand took the job of forcing her torso down. His scimitar was pressed lightly against his opponent’s neck.

Seconds dragged by. Link’s opponent was silent except for her exhausted breath. He simply waited, watching his opponent’s bare breasts heave in time with her breath. Her damaged chest wrap had fallen off long ago. Finally, she smiled beatifically and said “it’s my loss.”

Hidden Option D

Thank Aveil for the fight, invite her to meet up with Link later for drinks. This is our hottie arms teacher, don't treat her like a piece of meat, but don't act like you're not interested either.
