I've managed to read up to page 32 of the thread on e-hentai, personally, I can't completely fault either side.

I think the "tendon injury" that the owner is claiming to have is almost certainly a lie. This is mostly due to legal issues in the Netherlands (which are ridiculous btw, because the directive to ban loli content still isn't approved, and probably won't be). I do understand him though, no reason to go to prison if you don't have to. Hopefully he'll sell the data to someone who can revive the site and host it in a country that still hasn't went for the nuclear ban loli option.

Exhentai was not a place I went to every day, occasionally I'd scroll through the galleries for an hour or so, but this still hit me hard, and a lot of others. We didn't just lose another site, we lost THE site for all our perverted and non-perverted needs

As I said before, it is not closing under Dutch law, it does not say that it forbids loli and shota.
