She's a girl. By extending the concept of hammer-space to the access of weapons other than just large blunt weapons for hitting men that offend her, it would be reasonable to assume she could pull out a gun.

Eh, I was thinking "Sparkly Ugly Beam" with a wand, but the gun works as well.
