Alisa takes a chunk of the chains that had bound Gab, magically charges it, and chucks it directly at Natalie. The demoness doesn't even bother to dodge the projectile, and a surge of electricity bursts through her body, causing her to grunt in pain and her hair to stand on end for a brief moment. "Ow. That hurt." She says sarcastically.

Shadowcat, peering into the hole, immediately spots Gab lying on the floor with Alisa backing away from something. Shadowcat could easily drop into the fray at a time of her choosing, and judging by the look on Alisas face her aid was sorely needed.

To-hit: 18 + 40 = 58 vs 30 == Hit.

Natalie suddenly surges forward, grabbing Alisa by the throat and lifts her into the air. The powerful demon grins wickedly, running her hands softly across Alisas abdomen before going lower, brushing her fingers gently against Alisas flower in mock affection. "If you insist, I suppose I can eat you first. He's not going anywhere anytime soon, after all." Shadowcat views all of this from her perch above, and finds herself directly above Natalie as she strangles and teases Alisa.

*smiling to herself she desired the chance for some payback and with a surge she leaps from her perch down at the demoness small claws upon toes intent on raking down her back while she sinks one set of claws into the demoness' collarbone and shoulder the other seeking to hook her throat and rake fiercly across it wishing to end this tings fight in a fell movement*

(Uh... oops. Sorry, missed that we'd had an update. Rats - I was hoping the shock would keep Natalie from maintaining her balance when the chain hit, and she'd get no action that turn as a result, with the chain tripping her up and tangling round her legs.)

Alisa says nothing intelligible, gagging at Natalie's grip on her throat, hands grabbing at her arm in an attempt to relieve the strain.

Alisa struggles in Natalies grasp as Shadowcat silently plunges from above. The cat-woman lands on top of Natalie, her rear claws dragging lines of blood down Natalies back, causing the demon to shriek in surprise and pain. Her attack flows perfectly, her claws drawing a more blood from Natalies shoulder and finally raking across the demons throat. A deluge of blood blood covers the floor, some of it getting on Alisa as it spurts from Natalies torn throat.

Alisa is released, causing her to gasp in a breath, and Shadowcat suddenly finds herself flung across the room, the heavy blow against the stone wall knocking the wind out of her but otherwise leaving her unharmed. Natalie, spurting blood and breathing raggedly, turns takes a few fumbling steps away from Alisa. She stands there, panting for a moment, and both women expect the demon to fall at any moment. Suddenly, Natalie rights herself, a grin spread across her face and her eyes now glowing dark violet, and Alisa watches in horror as her savagely torn throat heals itself in a matter of seconds, the shredded flesh knitting together and looking as pristine as before Shadowcat had attacked her, though she was still covered in blood. Shadowcat likewise watches as the cuts on Natalies back and shoulders heal, the wounds closing rapidly and leaving her uninjured.

"That... Was... A mistake;" the demoness says, as blue flames erupt from her spilled blood. It seemed likely that, after being so badly wounded, the demoness would no longer hold back.

(You have to survive next round before help arrives.)

By now thoroughly panicked at Natalie's supernatural abilities, Alisa runs shrieking for the nearest entryway, hands flailing at the burning droplets that had splashed on her.

(I'm, um, just gonna run. Can't kill her before she casts, can't stun her to avert the casting, don't expect to survive whatever she casts. Besides, I think "nerveless panic" is a proper response to someone shrugging off getting their throat torn out, and lighting their blood on fire... )

*hissing in rage at the inability to bring this thing down she grabbed whatever was near at hand (rags, bones, rocks, dirt, whatever) and threw it at the demoness to get her attention. Shortly after releasing anything she can find Shadowcat was darting forward and ducked her shoulder low in an attempt to take the demoness' legs out from under her and make her fall to the floor*

(Shoulder rush sounds more like a grapple than an attack, so that's what I played it as. Doesn't matter all that much, you can't kill her in one attack, and you're about to get ported out. XD)

To-hit: 10 + 36 = Automatic Hit.

Natalie turns toward Shadowcat as she hurls a chunk of broken stone from the floor at her, allowing Alisa to flee. There didn't seem to be any way directly out of the room that Alisa could see, however. The blue flame seems to spread over her as Shadowcat charges toward the demoness, and she stands at ease as Shadowcat slams directly into her legs. Normally, this would have at the very least made whoever she struck stumble, but Natalie doesn't even budge from the powerful blow.

Grapple: Automatic Success.

Natalie casually grabs Shadowcat by her face and pushes her away. Strangely, when the blue fire touches her, it doesn't burn her. It actually seems to revitalize her. Meanwhile, Alisa reaches the end of the room, next to the unconscious Su-Ku-Ta. Having nowhere else to go, Alisa turns and watches as the flames around Natalie seem to dim, and she stretches out her hands, one toward Alisa and another toward Shadowcat. Energy gathers in her outstretched hands, and both can practically feel the stone building reverberate with whatever dark magic Natalie was about to unleash.

Suddenly, the entire room goes pitch black, and both women feel a sense of weightlessness. A second later, both find themselves stumbling as they hit the ground. They are next to a massive glowing gateway, the violet light it gives off making the strange multicolored aurora in the sky seem dim. Gab is lying unconscious at their feet, and Geralt is standing in front of them, his back toward them as he stands with his arms crossed over his chest.

Having failed to find an exit, Alisa turns, pressing her back against the wall. Natalie's slow gesture towards the two, and the magic she can feel swirling in towards her hands, brings Alisa's arms up in an unconscious effort to ward off the coming blow.

And then the world hiccups.

Trying to lean into a wall that no longer exists, Alisa tumbles over backwards, landing flat on her backside. She hastily scrambles upright, looking frantically to and fro, realizing that Natalie's nowhere to be seen... and a familiar back is being presented towards the threesome.

"G-Geralt...?" she asks timidly.

Geralt spins around at the sound of Alisa falling on her rear, and emits a sigh of relief. "Are you two alright? I'm sorry I left you back there, but there was no way I was winning that fight on my own, and I figured since you were all already down, they'd take you captive rather than kill you. We should safe here, for the moment. The one I came here with cleared out all of the nearby demons. Where is he, by the way? I expected he'd be coming with you when he teleported you out of wherever you were being held. You'd know him if you saw him, big guy, all in black, sword at his hip, wears a mask, calls himself Matthias;" He says,

From what Shadowcat and Alisa are able to piece together, it is likely that they are in the same strange world as before, just a different part of it, judging by the strange twilit sky and the relative desolation. Scattered in the distance, all of the buildings in sight are built of word white stone, and in need of significant repair. The ground around them is bare, hard packed dirt, as is all the ground that either of them can see. The area is hilly, with many dips in the ground, and all of the hilltops in the distance seem to have some ruined structure or another, ranging from simple stone boxes on some to an aesthetically pleasing arrangement of columns surrounding a stone basin on one of the larger hills. The dark gate, the great glowing portal behind them, suggests that they had been taken to the demons world.

Suddenly, a blinding flash splits the air, followed by a massive roar of sound and a wave of heat. When their eyes adjust, the trio are greeted by the sight of a titanic column of flame going up into the sky, and a huge wave of fire and debris rushing toward them across the hills. As they watch, stunned, it passes over one of the stone buildings, which immediately disintegrates into dust and a few large chunks of debris. The wave of fire and destruction races toward them faster than any of them could have possibly imagined, and will be upon them in seconds, when suddenly, the world once more goes black, and they feel once more the sense of weightlessness.

When they come to once more, they find themselves somewhere in back in their own world. The sky is, for a second, pitch dark, suggesting that night has fallen, before the sudden flash appears once more, and another roar of sound hits them once more. This time, luckily, no wave of flame rushes toward them, and the sky goes dark once more. They can see the orange glow of a massive fire off in the distance, and smoke rising above it. A male groan from around her feet causes Alisa to jump once more, and she looks down to find Gab coming awake beneath her. Geralt is standing dumbfounded, looking at the burning horizon, and whispering; "Whatin the voids name just happened?" With deep concern in his voice.

They seem to be back on the streets, this time in the inner city slums. The buildings around them are all poorly constructed once story huts.

(Sorry if this is going a little fast, but cataclysmic events can do that sometimes.)

"umm excuse a bit of topic change you wouldnt by chance have a pair of clothes spare on you? or mayhaps you can give me a hand in removing this collar."

(AFAIK, the chains didn't include collars... just manacles around wrists. Probably they included ankle restraints, too, but we got out of those. Gab was the unlucky one, with extra bonds on him... but he and Alisa got rid of them after she magicked the anchors loose. Though I'll grant that we're all naked right now.)

"I-I-I... guy... teleported...? I- is Matthias a daemon?" It's then that a pillar of fire erupts. Alisa sees the oncoming explosion and starts to drop to her knees, and then finds herself looking at a roughly-made street instead of a patch of barren ground. Gab's groan gets Alisa to look to the side, and she hastily crawls over to him, gently patting at the fur on his chest as she tries to tell how badly he's wounded.

"The-the woman- wizard- demoness, that had us prisoner... she said the demons had been trying to invade before, and one daemon stopped them every time... but they'd found a way to 'deal with him permanently' now... you've got to warn him!"

(Hrm. Cruddy. Matthias ran into Natalie, and the fact that he didn't come back with us probably means that she triggered whatever trap the demons had prepared for him.)

(Alisa didn't have a collar, but Shadowcat did. They weren't connected to the chains, just meant as something to prevent the use of magic or Spirit powers. Alisa didn't have one because the demons didn't figure that she'd use magic since she was a succubus. The collar, along with the remains of their bonds, are all gone.)

Alisa and Shadowcat find that all signs of their bondage are gone, the collar that had prevented Shadowcat from using her powers and the manacles that had been around Gabs wrists gone. They were still naked, however, and their equipment was nowhere to be seen. Until it appears in front of them, that is, popping out of midair and falling in a heap to the ground. Alisas armor is missing, having been shredded irrecoverably, but all of the rest of their things are intact.

Gabs wounds don't seem particularly severe, and are, as before, already on the mend, his Fey blood allowing him to heal swiftly. Alisa is filled with relief that he doesn't seem to be too badly wounded, with only a bruise on his chest, and he is beginning to regain consciousness.

Geralt hadn't apparently noticed their nudity before, and replies; "Errr.... No, I'm afraid not. You've got your armor, but we'll probably have to find something for Alisa." Then, turning toward Alisa, he continues; "Speaking of, what do you mean, warn him? How could they have found a way to deal with Matthias, unless they've got an even more powerful daemon working for them?" He turns toward the place where the second fireball had come from, and says; "If they did find some way of taking him out, it's too late now... And that's very very bad....."

*Shadowcat looked over the clothing she had worn before it wasnt much as she never carried much in the way of equipment upon herself. finding her pack which would most likely only have some rations and the demon parts and money they had recovered. She begrudginly takes the clothes and throws them to Alisa* I can handle being without clothes for a little bit longer...might not be exactly your size but they should fit decently..

(Hm. Well, since our equipment got teleported to us, presumably by Matthias, after we were teleported out... that implies that he's still capable of actions in support of us adventurers. I think that means that if Natalie did spring her trap on him... it didn't work fully. Alternatively, he's chasing Natalie around, and that's why he didn't come back with us.)

With the threat of imminent doom gone, Alisa finds her adrenaline dissipating... and with its loss, she realizes both her and Shadowcat are naked. She lets out a squeak as she nudges up closer to Gab, trying to cover herself as she does so. Shadowcat's toss of her clothes at Alisa draws her attention to Shadowcat... and her trim, flexible body... and that sinuous tail... whu? Stop thinking about that!

To cover her embarrassment, Alisa hastily starts trying on the clothes, stuttering out an embarrassed "T-thank you".

Being at least partially clothed now, she returns to her earlier worry. "M-Maybe the demoness wasn't expecting, um, Matthias... she seemed to be taunting us with the idea that she could trap him... so when Matthias showed up, she wasn't ready, and he was able to fight whatever it was... or something..."

(Perhaps you'll find out what happened... Someday. If someone currently on that side of the gate starts posting regularly enough again, or someone else goes over there. That, or we finish the RP, and I can put it in a wrap up post or something.)

While, as Shadowcat had said, they didn't fit her perfectly, the garments manage to keep Alisas modesty well enough that she is more comfortable. They do have numerous tears from the initial fight against the demons, after which the group had been captured, however, and a good amount of Alisas flesh is still highly exposed. Gab, meanwhile, seems to be recovering from his unconsciousness quickly, as, with another grown, he opens his eyes, and then bolts upright, looking around, and saying; "What happened!"

As she starts looking Shadowcats naked form over, Alisa suddenly realizes that she is more than a little horny. She can't figure out why, but for some reason, her mind is slowly being preoccupied with more and more lustful thoughts. Though she doesn't know it, with the adrenaline and terror of the fight against Natalie and their sudden escape departing from her mind, her natural need to feed off of the spirit energy of other beings, part of her succubus heritage, is starting to take hold. Though not overpowering, her hunger is none-the-less becoming insistent.

Geralt, upon Shadowcats proclamation that she could remain naked for a while longer, allows a grin to spread across his face, and says, jokingly; "You certainly could, kitty-cat." Then, turning toward Alisa; "I don't know what they could have done to take out Matthias. Plenty have tried that before, and none of them got anything more than a blade through the heart of a face-full of fire before now. Still, the demons might have figured out something." He says, his voice and expression now serious once more.

(Edit: you both get 10 exp for surviving a fight with Natalie and escaping from Hell.)

"We got... teleported... out of there. Geralt went and found help - Matthias, a daemon I guess? - and came after us. So we're safe, now." Alisa nuzzles up against Gab, hugging him and planting a smooch on his cheek.

Looking up after Geralt's last words, Alisa continues with their story. "The demoness that had us prisoner - she called herself Natalie. I've never met anyone who seemed so powerful... she just walked in the room, after we woke up in chains, and all the magic in the area started swirling around her... none of the instructors at the Academy could make that happen, unless they were casting a really powerful spell." She clutches harder, unnerved at recalling their encounter. "I reshaped the wall to let me and Gab through, and closed it off again... and she just passed through it like it wasn't there. Shadowcat tore her throat out, ripped great slashes in her back... and she healed like it was nothing. After that, she got angry... and she started pulling all the magic in the area together... and I think she was going to blast us, and forget about our souls... and then we got teleported away."

With some effort, she pulls herself away from Gab, standing and helping him to stand. She looks down at herself, and the torn shirt currently tented by her breasts, shifting slightly and wondering at the effect the tears have on people seeing through them as she moves. "Er, I, um... probably should try and find something, um... better sized. And someplace to, um, rest would be nice..."

Gab nods as Alisa finishes her explanation, his eyes closing again as begins to rest back into her warm body, before he suddenly starts again; "What? Matthias? Where is he?" Luckily, he only does this after Alisa had explained things to Geralt, the wounded gruff apparently still a little slow on the uptake.

Geralt listens intently as Alisa explains what the trio had been through to the man, waiting until she is finished before responding; "Well, you all seem alright to me, except maybe Fey boy down there. He only seems stunned though, so I guess we're all okay, for the moment. Still, it doesn't bode well that Matthias didn't come back with you, especially since this Natalie seemed to have some plan to deal with him. But, then again, I can't imagine anything being able to take him down..... Bah! To the void with it." He says, and then turns away.

"Yes. I know of a place where we can be fairly safe, at least for a little while. Unfortunately, I'm not sure exactly where we are at the moment, so it might take us a little while to get there." Geralt says, as Alisa helps Gab get to his feet.
