Re: The Legend of Queen Opala 2

I seem to have one last location undiscovered, can anybody tell me where to find it?

(It won't let me post an image, it is in Col. 3 Row 6, the one between Nazadina and Stonehedge)
It's in a village on the frozen continent.

While you're in the village, you should start the quest there, it's needed to progress in the League of Perverts quests.

Re: The Legend of Queen Opala 2

Urgh, can anyone tell me where the league of perverts is? Earlier in the thread someone is talking about Wolfgang estate but....... I have no idea where to go.

On a side note, playing this game on 3.5x speed is WAY better.

scroll down to the bottom (Namarian Islands and Penisulas, check the huge map ~ scroll back up a bit, for the islands' locations)

Re: The Legend of Queen Opala 2

So, i can't avoid work much longer and i'll be focusing on that before going on to NG+.

I'm pretty sure i've done almost everything possible in the first game.

My stats so far: (removed all the completed ones)
220/256 Illustrations
76/100 Trading Cards
27/28 Hen'Tai
24/25 Art Chests
24/25 Portraits
22/27 Legendary
7/8 Ultimas
82% Game Complete
41/45 Quests Complete

423 Treasure Chests
74 Ore Deposits
284 Furnitures Searched

Know things i've missed:
Truth or Dare Quest (impossible to complete at the end of game)
Velvetta's Revenge (follow up from last one)
Lamest Quest
Namaria Legendary that looks like an Hydra (3rd line, 4th row boss)
Other Legendary that looks like an An'Terra (1st line, 6th row)
Other Legendary (2nd line, 1st row)
Other Legendary that looks like a neverus champion (2nd line, 3rd row)
Other Legendary (2nd line, 5th row)
Search spot on the Arena in Festival Island, there's a char blocking it.
2 Gabe's chests (i freaking forgot to go all gay on that one...)
Possibly an An'Terra breeding ground (went to the 2 on frozen continent, 2 near baltera, 1 underground of hill sanctus, 1 near rockguard)

For the people the other completion freaks out there is there any possibility to get the things i'm missing before starting the NG+?

Edit:
Completely forgot about the daily fap.
I'm missing the ones for Ilona, Latex and Emeralda. I probably screw up somewhere with Ilona but my guess is that to get the 2nd daily fap pic of the optional characters you have to choose them as 1st option, otherwise you'll miss out some relationship bonus opportunities.

Re: The Legend of Queen Opala 2

Gender really hasn't got a damn thing to do with it, and you'd do well to avoid this train of thought. Loqo 1 was a written by the same person and was a completely different beast, where the hero got all the attention. frankly, I don't really ever self-insert into these kinds of protagonists so I really couldn't care much less who does the fucking. Remember as well that the overall content of this game is rather extreme, and the game is fairly casual about it, you can't just go from huge monster rape to casual vanilla sex, those just have two completely different audiences, in the end your main complaint seems to end up being that this game doesn't cater to you specifically, which is just selfish.
Did we play the same game?
All drawn art in LOQO1 was Farah and Opala fucking animals. Everytime you fucked them it went into black screen with cheesy porn dialogue audio overlays.
It's a shame, though. At the start of this project almost 3 years back I thought Gabe learned her lesson and started including more human x human, with the Milana x Opala and Farah slave and inn scenes, but I guess that got thrown violently out of the window half way through.

In any case, I'm grinding for both experience and gold and started losing all motivation. The "sex scenes" don't do it for me, nothing exciting going on besides: "Hey, epic monsters here! Come back in 20 lvls mmkay". I'm literally at a roadblock. If I want to continue story I have to grind myself retarted on Cockalots and if I want to continue side missions I have to either a) grind Cockalots for experience or b) grind Cockalots for money or c) both.

Ahh well. At least the game was fun 2/3rds through.

Re: The Legend of Queen Opala 2

Well, being one who agrees with some of the issues raised by people here and there in regards to this game and so on, it is pretty refreshing to see Gabe step up and answer a lot of the concerns/questions in regards to this new game.

I will admit I figured money was the reason that some of the things went the way they did. I will also add that I had no idea she had so many people going all 'wheres the game' because I honestly was waiting pretty patiently (basically a 'this is free no time expectations') for the updates. I leave here posted for everybody's viewing pleasure Gabe herself answering the various questions and concerns from the rabble.

Over the course of the days since the launch of Legend of Queen Opala II, I've got a lot of questions and statements about the game, and thought it might be a good idea to clear some of that up!
But be warned, some of it may contain story spoilers!

Q) Why can't I romance anyone in the party?

A) For several reasons, the main issue being adding a scene to the game cost $100-500 and takes a month to finish, since the artists who worked on the game didn't do it for free and had lives of their own.
I also didn't want the main protagonist to simply be Jake 2.0 from the first game, basically a pervert who is out to hump everyone in his path.

Q) Why doesn't the game has a branching story like the first game?

A) The first game was about the same size as the starting point from the main protagonist's house to Frontier Aqueduct and the areas in between, but Legend of Queen Opala II is 10-20 times bigger than that.
Making a branching story would take such a huge amount of time when you consider the sheer size and the fact which party members you have with you, and any combination of them, all affect the conversations spoken across the story.

Q) Why can't I marry Opala, Farah or Osira like in the first game?

A) There wasn't enough time to add that feature in the game since fans were getting too impatient and I needed to move on and focus on a third game instead, but it'll be in the Golden Edition version.

Q) Why isn't there any end-game content after the last boss where we live with the choices we made?

A) Because I wanted everyone to have the chance to unlock all the Bad Endings, and they aren't exactly endings if you can continue to play after them, now are they? But there was also the fact I didn't want players to accidently lock themselves into a Bad Ending and permanently lose partymembers and love interests because of it, with no posibility to have them return without starting a new playthrough.

Q) Why isn't there a evil ending for the main character where he takes over Egypt?

A) This worked in the first game because you had Osira use her minions to take over, and then you could betray her, it would be harder for the main protagonist to suddenly rise to power as Pharaoh within this game since the Egyptian Army is still around, and has no reason to suddenly start following him.

Q) Why are there so few scenes between the protagonist and the egyptian girls?

A) In the first game, players complained the scenes were too far apart, the only way this could be corrected in a game 10-20 times larger, without having the main character reduced to a horny bunny who humps at every town you reach, was to space out scenes between other characters.

Q) Why is the game so hard once you reach Thebes and the locations after it?

A) The fault really is all mine, I had to take into consideration there would be both new players and gamers who'd be importing their lvl. 20-50 characters from Episode II, which made it very difficult to find a good balance...I still wouldn't say it's impossible though, it just requires better gear management to counter alignments and spells, along with much more strategy, but enemies you encounter during the main story will have their defense nerfed for Golden Edition.

Q) Why is the battle again Altum so difficult, maybe even harder than the final boss?

A) Call me crazy, but I'd like to think Altum has been the real threat and main enemy since the first game, and because of that, I wanted the battle against him to last long and be difficult, making him too easy or too quick to kill would've been so anticlimactic.

Q) Why is everything so expensives when it comes to properties?

A) I really dislike games where you can raise tons of money, but don't have anything worthwhile to spend it on, so I added the option to buy your own upgradable land and properties to let you spend some of that money on when you find yourself with a huge amount of gold...you're not to meant to buy everything as soon as you see it, you're meant to spend your money on what you need.

Q) Why doesn't the relationship meter do anything?

A) It does, but people just seem to take for granted that it'll be something groundbreaking, it was only meant to reflect how much the characters like you, I've never said it's there to reward you - and if you're angry about The Daily Fap, just don't, it's a fictional magazine with "their" own views on those women, what the magazines shows and say doesn't have to be the truth, in fact, I even made it tell a few lies to prove the point it's a fictional magazine likely to publish fake news and not based on real journalism.
Now my only hope is that she is much more clear in regards to the kind of content in the third game if she's going to be crowdfunding so that people know what they're contributing to (as I am considering if some funds ups the quality and maybe steers in a slightly different direction.)

Re: The Legend of Queen Opala 2

lol Funny thing just happened. I managed to go through the game with a 50/50 split on alignment choices just in case I wanted to try different endings. But I just beat the game, went back to greenfield home, and saved. Then when I try to go out the door Mr. Ed is there, and forces me to make another choice.

Can someone tell me if these choices really effect anything with the endings? It sure didn't seem like it. But I can go either way here evil or good but i'll probably be stuck with it unless there are yet more post game choices to make. I really thought those would be over.

After you beat Seth in Thebes go to the Harbor, and a Salesman on the Ship sells you the Ship for 15.000

You should be able to get her later, I was able to pick up Latex after completing the main story despite having her locked out earlier due to having Layla
