The oni smith didn't stop doing his work as the visitors came in to speak with him. The hammer kept on shaping the blade for a new patrol halberd as he was spoken to. "That's good." he said, turning to the side briefly to get the still unfinished blade heated in the fires. "These last months... I'm not sure what to make of this." the oni opened up a bit, feeling a hand on his now unoccupied shoulder. "Without that little girl sitting on me, I feel strangely empty..."

Nina bowed her head, and then stepped up to the large red oni, placing a hand upon his arm. "I promise I'll do what I can to help get Patch back to you, safe and sound, free of whatever spirit is causing all this trouble, okay Jashi? Now that our house is getting back in order, we'll have the time and resources to dedicate to the problem okay? Just please, don't give in to despair. You've got friends here, so no need to work yourself to exhaustion. We're here to let you know that thing's are going to get better, all right?"

Nina nodded earnestly, and looked around to Iris and Iliana to see if they had anything to add. She also hoped that this might have even a small positive effect on the big smith.

Jashi listened on as Nina assured him that he wasn't alone in this, still hammering away at the axe blade in an effort to get it honed properly. As Nina finished her cheery talk, the big man set down his tools and turned to face her. He looked down to the girl who stood chest-level compared to his huge frame, and picked her up by placing hands under her shoulders. "That is good to hear, Miss. There's something in your eyes and voice that seems to make everyone believe in the most impossible things being easy to do. But that sort of power is needed in this world." he said, holding Nina at face level before embracing the maid girl deeply. "I might be a big brute like this, but that little girl is the thing I care for the most. I'd give everything for her..." the red-skinned smith carried on with his reply. As he said it, Nina could swear that she saw a tear roll down from under his mirrored spectacles.

After having held Nina in his grip for a while, Jashi eventually set her back down on the floor. "Sorry... got a little bit emotional there. After I finish this blade, I'll take rest of the day off and rest." he promised. Iliana didn't seem to have anything else to add, and if she did, Iris wouldn't be able to say them.

The females left Jashi to finish with his work, heading back towards the house through the sand-covered courtyard. As they went, Nina could suddenly feel something or someone grab her by the ankles.

The display of affection in the big oni was great to see and hear. Nina really enjoyed it, and squeezed the big lug back, even though she was like a doll in his powerful arms. She patted him once again after he'd set her down.

"That's good to hear, Jashi. Maybe when I get some free time, we can share a snack together. You take some good time to relax, mmkay?"

Having said her piece, Nina joined the other two girls as they headed back to the house. She was surprised by sudden grip on her ankles.

"Hmmm?" Iliana wondered as she turned to see what the sudden eh was all about. Upon seeing the same hands formed from sand that Nina did as she checked down, she looked like suddenly remembering something important. "I forgot to tell you during all the hassle yesterday. During the ogre raid, a few of the worse townspeople attempted their hand at looting the mansion. Some of them attempted to cross over the walls, out of Isaku's watchful eye, succeeding to get a way with some minor valuables. I decided that there should be a guard at the courtyard areas too, and contacted the sand vagabonds in the desert for a meeting. After some time spent discussing with them, Gobu here agreed to become a guard if the house provided him with the necessities to live. There was another clause in our contract, but I believe it's better to not talk about that..." the mistress explained as a humanoid figure started to form behind Nina, the hands clamped to her ankles steadily rising as the sand-person materialized. Once at his full height, Gobu stood about the same height as Iliana. His naked body was composed of the sand surrounding them, and the man's features were humanoid, but looked slightly melted. Holding Nina in his embrace, the man shamelessly felt her up from numerous spots around her body. "Can I take her? Huh?" he asked in a hoary voice, keeping the maid locked in place with his feverishly strong grip until Iliana told him that Nina was part of the household. With a dissappointed grunt, the sandman let her go.

After taking in Nina and Iris' faces and body shapes, Gobu melded back into the sand, dissappearing from sight. "His kind live in the desert sands. They can move about and sense everything that moves on their vicinity, as long as it's the sand their feet touch. I heard their favorite tactics include things like pulling you under the sand to suffocate you, or get you helplessly dug in and then smack the life out from you. Scary people..." the mistress continued her previous info strike. "We could also have that big doggie of yours run guard duty, if it's ok with you. If there is something else you've planned, then go with that since I think Gobu can manage. He can detect anything that touches the ground around the courtyard, afterall"

As the sand man had held her in numerous sensitive spots, firmly rooting her to the ground she was standing on, Nina was both shocked and slightly aroused. However, she was thankful that Iliana had decided not to allow Gobu his fun, as she did not know how comfortable having living sand inside of her would be.

"And what exactly did you have to do for them to get their support, Iliana?" Nina asked with a curious grin on her face as they walked away from the central courtyard and back into the house. When the talk moved on to the discussion of Tiger, Nina nodded. "I think I'd like him to be a personal companion for us three, rather than just a guard dog. I plan on taking him with me when I go out into town for supplies this afternoon. I'll also be visiting Elise and Faye over at the shrine to say hello and a further thank you. Iris can keep you company while you answer all the affairs of state that have been piling up. Hmmm, speaking of that, I think we should head back to your office, my lady, so that you can get started. Iris, is that okay with you?"

When they had reached her office Nina opened the door and let the other two women walk through it before following them. As Iliana got seated at her desk, Nina began to open the desk's drawers until she found one that had a leather collar in it like the one that she wore. Now that the Lady Einzbern had a temporary mistress, it was only proper that she wear a collar too, after all. If she found one that wasn't a shock collar, she would proffer it to Iliana, saying "I think this would look pretty around your neck. Put it on."

"It was something in the past, done by my now-departed father. The sand people have long memories, and despite their somewhat questionable approach towards other beings, they honor debts of the past regardless of race. Though the second clause is what sealed Gobu's coming to guard for me. He also did make a statement that he'd get inside my panties one day, if there was a suitable opportunity. The man seems to have taken a fancy to me." the mistress said, not seeming too worried about the possibilty of getting raped by this strange guardian in a weak moment. She let Nina have her way with Tiger, knowing that the dog was likely more valuable as a personal companion, given his intelligence and strenght. Following Iris' agreement to go with them, the females went towards the office.

Once Iliana had settled down, Nina went to check around her drawers, getting a few curious looks from the mistress. She soon found out the thing she was looking for, a shiny leather collar. It even had a miniature padlock to keep it attached around the neck of the person made to wear it unless the keybearer decided to release them. The tan beauty gave a few blushy looks at the collar as Nina offered it to her. Despite the few wary looks from Iris, Iliana eventually tied it around her neck, letting Nina attach the lock and keep the key by herself. "Does it suit me?"

"My lady, I think you make nearly anything look good," Nina answered honestly. "But yes, I think it looks very nice on you."

Nina turned toward Iris. Despite being blind and having a blindfold over her eyes, the girl seemed confused by this recent development. As well she might be. "Don't worry, Iris. Just an in joke between Iliana and I. Maybe the lady will tell you about it while I'm away."

Nina made a show of tucking the key to the padlock inside her pockets. "I will take Tiger into town now and pick up the usual supplies. I will be fine on my own I think, well, myself and the dog. I think it's important that the two of you spend some time together as well. It's been a while."

So saying, Nina blew them each a kiss and left through the door. She went around to gather up Tiger and told Lily to take care of some minor chores while she went out to the market to get the list of everyday things from the market that the estate needed. "I should be back in a couple of hours and I'll help out with what's left to tidy up. We'll make dinner together, all right?" She told the young maid.

Whistling for Tiger, she moved forward and out of the estate.

Iris' wariness was somewhat removed as Nina explained what the collaring of Iliana was all about. No doubt she was having a hard time seeing the Lady end up with a collar, when it was usually Iliana herself who dealt those around. "Alright, do that shopping trip. I'm sure there will be no troubles along the way, it's been quiet in the town for a while. Since the ogre invasion was dealt with, the scoundrels have gone into hiding or somesuch I'm sure." the mistress spoke out as Nina departed for her supply run.

After looking for the doggie briefly, the green-haired girl found both Tiger and Lily at the same place. The diminutive maid was already taking care of laundry, and the large canine was tailing her, perhaps curious about what she was doing. These things were new to the dog, and it took a few calls to stop the curious beast from going after Lily. With her plans already in motion, Nina didn't need to really set the younger maid any tasks. Getting agreement on the dinner, she headed out with the loyal companion that was Tiger.

The dog and girl exited through the front door, going across the courtyard, then getting helped out through the gate by Anotsu. The beautiful man was as courteous as before, wishing them well even if the trip was only a supply run. After trekking a bit, they were at town.

Nina headed straight for the market with Tiger by her side and her sword at her hip just in case. She knew that Iliana was most likely correct in her assessment, but when outside of the safety and familiarity of the estate, the maid felt naked without her sword and shield.

She decided that tonight she and Lily were going to cook something exotic, and she'd need some imported spices, herbs, fruits, and rices, as well as some fresh proteins. Fish was out of the question then, but chicken, pigeon, goat, or beef would be good. She perused through the stalls, smelling and sampling. She made sure that Tiger was controlled. She'd fastened a lead onto a collar for him, just in case all the new sights and sounds and smells excited him, though she was relatively certain she wouldn't have to use it, since he was so smart and obedient. She resolved to get him a nice animal bone with some meats still attached to it as well. In addition, she also picked up a few imported bottles of wine and spirits.

When her shopping was done, Nina decided to drop in to Elise's shrine, hoping that she might catch both the priestess and Faye at home. She had yet to really thank them properly, and hoped that one of the bottles of wine would go well with them. She entered the shrine with Tiger and looked about for signs of either woman or one of the male shrine attendants to see if they could point her in the right direction.

Despite the town's somewhat remote location, there was a strong merchant presence there. Nina could find everything she looked for quite easily within the marketplace stalls, even the foreign booze. The seller gave her a few long looks at first, but ultimately seemed to acknowledge her being old enough. With the shopping done, she took off towards the shrine next with Tiger in tow. Despite the constant barrage of new things to be sniffed or tasted, the doggie held himself in check quite admirably.

With the shrine in front of her, Nina entered with relative casualness. This time Elise was not getting sexed up by her apprentices, all three were tidying up the main area after the morning service instead. Of the foreign doc Faye there was no sign. As she noticed the visitor, Elise stopped and headed to greet the maid. The two men came after her, assuming almost identical, guard-like poses with their brooms behind the priestess' back. Despite knowing Nina from that one encounter, Serge and Drake sticked close to Elise so they could shield her if need be. "Afternoon. What brings you to this humble shrine?" the priestess asked.

"I was in the market gathering food and things for my Lady. I thought that since I was in the area I would stop in to say hello. I'd hoped that Faye would be here as well, but I suppose she is staying at her own place?" Nina said cheerfully to the priestess, and nodded to her and the acolytes behind her politely.

"I also wanted to say thank you again on behalf of myself and the Mistress, for all you did to look after Iris. I picked up some wine that I thought you might accept as a gift. You don't have a tenet against alcohol, do you?"

Nina smiled and plucked a wine bottle from her basket, proffering it to the priestess. "If there's anything more I could do for you, please let me know. The mistress is busy catching up with things at the estate, but neither of us would want you to think what you've done has gone unappreciated."

"That much I could make up" the priestess replied, eyeing the supply bags. "Faye does stay here, but she took off early in the morning for a barhopping run. Said that these stuffy services weren't her deal, which is true given her personal beliefs. The doctor will likely be back sometime during the evening unless there is a handsome male that catches her attention, if the old habits haven't died yet."

With a hand gesture from Elise, the almost identical acolytes eased their stances. They knew no trouble would occur, but still went with the usual style. Despite the control these two men had over Elise when it came to more base desires, the healthy priestess was in charge during other times, and it was clear in their behaviour.

Once the bottle came up, Elise accepted it. "There is none, but none of us three drink regardless. I have made a personal absolution from any intoxicants long time ago, to be ever ready when there is help needed. These two, maybe they do it to honor me? I wouldn't know..."

The men interrupted her, each setting a hand on the priestess' shoulder. "For you, we'll do these things readily, teacher. You can ask us anything." they both said in a perfectly unison voice. Yet another show of affection that made Elise look at both men with a blushing face. "You two..." she gagged a bit with the words, but quickly composed herself again. "But I'm sure Faye will like it. She'll be back in the evening unless there is a male that catches her fancy, then it'll take longer. And about those favors, don't worry about it. This is nothing too much out of the ordinary."

"It certainly was not ordinary for me, Elise. I doubt it was typical of Iris or Iliana either. I'm sorry that I didn't get you something you could use. Is there anything that you do enjoy? Or perhaps..."

Nina looked to the two acolytes. "Well, you two won't be shy about what she likes. Tell me what gift Elise would really like." She said, and smiled enthusiastically. "Don't let her talk you down either, I want to give her something she'll appreciate."

She didn't mind that she was saying this right in front of Elise. She was feeling cheeky and really did want to pay her respects more appropriately. Plus she wanted to speak to the two men as well. She hadn't really interacted with handsome men all that much in this game, and these two certainly fit the bill. She also wondered slightly about that new gate guard, but for now, these two were in front of her and she was curious to see if she could tell more about their relationship with Elise from the way they responded to her question.

"Well... That is true, but still.." was Elise's brief reply before Nina's attention shifted towards the pair of acolytes that hovered near the priestess. Despite a quietly-voiced protest from their teacher, Drake and Serge cast looks at each other, instantly on the same page with Nina. In addition to their looks and strenght, the guys seemed to possess a good eye for character and higher than average intelligence. "We know what teacher likes? Don't we?" the one on the right asked, getting a quick reply from the one on the left. "We do know, brother. Teacher likes many things, most of which we can do."

As they exchanged these words, the pair of acolytes took small, quiet steps towards Elise. Before the plump priestess could detect it and step away, she was picked off her feet by the menfolk. They held their beloved teacher between themselves, one arm under the shoulder and across the back, the other holding up the leg from behind the knee. With the priestess secured, they took a turns, both kissing Elise on her lips quite openly. "This is something teacher likes." the right one said as he pulled back. "She likes when we do this to her. Among other similar things." the other aired his words upon leaving Elise's lips. Held in the arms of these two strong and good-looking guys, the leader in the priestess subsided, replaced by a lovestruck girl. "You two..." she managed to say in a half-voice, looking somewhat euphoric after getting kissed twice.

Nina's eyes also widened, as she hadn't meant to entice them into that. She really had thought that maybe the two men would have known if she liked chocolates or perhaps certain kinds of sweet fruits, or maybe she had a penchant for figurines or other such things. But having inadvertently started both of the men's sex drives, she was at a loss to do anything but play along.

Her face got a little red and she set down her basket of goods in a secure place. Then she straightened her outfit, which was her normal skimpy maid uniform. "These guys really do have their eyes and minds on you, don't they Elise?" Nina giggled as she stepped closer.

"If that's what they really recommend, then I'll just have to go with it, won't I? Perhaps I can join in, just so you know it's really from all of us?" With their eyes taking glances at teacher and Nina in turns, they were quiet at first. "What should we do brother?" "Hmmmm, I'm not entirely sure.." "Maybe the representive should decide the best way to bring the favor in. We can help with our modest skills at love."
