Anyone know the exact spot where translator left and about what about what % finish?
If so i can try to finishing this without all the fancy stuff and a rough translation on my free time.
Oh I also haven't played this one yet so if anyone know any known problems i can try to fix those too if i decide to start translating.

From what I recall, he ended the translation right before you leave the first town. It's just after you save the mine from the thieves.

I would love to see this fully translated its one of my favorite hrpg ive seen just because of the story its not high on the content but the premise is very original

Just to inform anyone who's interested, I am starting translation of this game later today and will most likely post a link after a town is done.
I will be adding to the last translator file so if anyone know any problems with it, please inform me.

But i must say the last translator sure love to make mods .

Fantastic! Like the poster above you mentioned, this game has a pretty cool premise, so I'm glad that renewed attention is being given to a translation.

But i must say the last translator sure love to make mods .

Most of the little things he added made the game better imo and funnier. The start of the game and the first scene are just super funny for some reason i laughed my ass off.

um so some good news and bad news on the translation.

First the bad news:
This will take me a while longer then expected before i make any real progress in translation.
Some the extra scripts that the last translator added sparked my interest so i been playing around with those.

The good news:
I'm starting learn some of the added features by playing around with them so i will be keeping some of the things similar
to the last translator like the custom battle background and the color name tags

Although I have no ill will towards the last translator, and not that I don't appreciate the work he did, but all of the stuff he added to the game seemed wholly unnecessary. If it makes your job easier to start fresh or remove all those scripts, then don't be too afraid to do so. I think there were others who shared the same opinion in the other thread.

If you're having fun with them, then that's fine, too.

lol personally i don't mind playing with the new scripts. also i played around with the script a bit and seem it's more work to remove then just learn to use.
anyway almost done with 2nd town. i will most likely post a patch when that's done.

Can't extract the Marionette Fantasy v1.1.3 in translation crashes after I exicute the Marionette Fantasy 1.1.3x.exe file. What am I doing wrong?

Didn't the original translator also edit the standing picture of the girl so that her breasts were smaller because they weren't to his taste? Because that was not only unnecessary, it also spit in the face of the creator of the game if you ask me. If you change anything back (I would prefer all the scripts be removed, personally), that would be priority number one.

personally(just my opinion)i think he should leave them in i played both version and the translated one just worked better overall idk what all he did but it seemed pretty good either way though its up to the translator its not our choice unless we are the ones making it we should just be happy its being made and let him make it srry if any of this sounded offensive be assured it was not intended that way and ty again for undertaking this large project bakasaru

Did he really change her breast size? I can't remember what she looked like in the original. Hopefully that's not true. It's cool and all if someone wants to undertake a translation project, but it's pretty scummy when they start messing around with the original creator's artistic intent (at least for a public re-release).

Only for the standing picture (and maybe the title screen too), but yeah. It was part of the reason I disapproved his translation. Of course, I personally feel that the whole game is part of a creator's artistic intent, not just the CGs.

I'd kind of prefer the vanilla version (just the translation) I didn't know he changed the sprites too though , other than making the screen bigger, which pixellated things a little anyway and he put in that song near the end of the first city.

soo bakasaru, do you plan to release vanilla translation or only resuming last translator (X-Calibar) translation? i hope you plan both, since some people prefer the vanilla and the other prefer the modded version, but personally i prefer the vanilla version
