Helena can hear a thunderous roar and moments later Jasmine helps her out before staggering a few steps away and falling on her bottom. "Guess we'll wait here for a while, then. I hope it won't take too long." The sun shows that it's now late afternoon and it wouldn't be very long before it started setting.

Helena groans as she's helped up and they move off to the side. "Ya, I guess so... This trip sucks."

It isn't very long until contractions start, and several puppies push their way out of each of them painfully, though not nearly as much so as it should be. Jasmine gets up and cleans herself with a gesture. "Let's go find the others."

Helena lays back and groans loudly before whimpering as she pushed several puppies from her body. The idle thought about bearing a litter wouldn't be all that funny until later. Following Jasmine's lead she cleans herself up and nods "Lets, I hope we didn't wind up too far off track."

As the pair takes to the air, it takes them some time to find the track and the sun is already setting when they land. Strike immediately hugs both of them and Ginny and Red aren't far behind.

Landing in the party Helena isn't surprised when Strike comes flying out of nowhere to hug them to death. She is surprised when Ginny and Red hug her though and its written all over her face. "Did ya miss us!?" she says with a snarky grin and a chuckle.

Ginny's expression is blank as she speaks in accusing tone. "We were worried. What happened?"

Helena stares back at Ginny "Ya, so was I. Were back and glad to be so, next time you can fight the dragon. otherwise please just be glad we're alright. I understand you were worried but we were a little busy so staying in touch was kinda hard. Did you guys find anything on the way?"

Ginny sighs. "The food is almost ready. Will you two please put some clothes on?" Jasmine chuckles as she conjures a set of clothes on herself before following Ginny to the campfire.

Helena checks her attitude, knowing Ginny doesn't deserve it and dresses herself in the same fashion as Jasmine before following. Reaching out to Ginny's mind gently she offers something of a more thorough explanation {I'm sorry, but rest assured we weren't having any fun, there was more then the dragon to deal with. I'd explain but don't really want to talk about, didn't mean to snap} Sitting by the warmth of the fire Helena just relaxes and chalks it up to another odd experience and moves on. It hadn't really been that bad she thought to herself. Tossing the thoughts aside and wondering if she had a screw loose that caused her to enjoy such things Helena just stares into the flames and cuddles Strike, keeping to herself for now.

Ginny doesn't say anything, but Helena can feel warmth in her emotions as she answers without words. Jasmine hands Helena a plateful of food, putting it on top of Strike who in a playful mood does her best to balance it on her head, succeeding moderately well.

Helena tosses a smile at Ginny before cracking up at Strike's antics, always happier when her friend was near, the spider was so damned goofy, it was part of the reason Helena loved her so much. Carefully trying to eat off of Strike's head she soon thinks better of it and snatches the plate away before kissing the big spider on the head and wolfing down her food like a woman possessed. "Anything fun happen while we were gone?"

When Helena takes the plate off, Strike stares at her insultedly, though Helena can tell her mood hasn't really changed. Ginny smiles as she watches the pair. "Not really. There was a bear but we managed to drive it off. Oh, and Strike found a nest of giant wasps."

Helena giggles again at Strike before listening to Ginny. At the mention of the wasps Helena visibly winces. "I take it you didn't have any trouble with the Wasps?" She didn't mind eggs all that much given her experience but she sincerely doubted Ginny would feel the same way...

Still smiling, Ginny answers with a warm look at Strike. "Oh no. Strike found the nest just a little ways from here and showed it to me without going close enough to attract them." Red is inching closer to Helena and Strike without making any noise, plainly in Helena's view but behind Strike's back.

Helena just watches out of the corner of her eye while nodding at Ginny "Thats good, those damn wasps can be a real problem."

"Not with Strike along they wont be, I think."

Red reaches out and rubs Strike's back, which causes the spider to jump up and turn to flail at the slimegirl who giggles and flails back.

Helena bursts out laughing at the pair, "There's something wrong with the two of you, I swear" she said, clutching her side as the laughter was starting to hurt. Composing herself again she finished her meal and set her plate back on top of Strike's head. A few hours of pretty useless conversation and staring into the fire Helena announces wit obvious fatigue in her voice. "I'm tired as hell after my day, I think I'm going to turn in. have a good night everyone." Standing up and flashing everyone a smile Helena heads to the tent and calls it a night, wanting to get some extra sleep considering everything that had happened and the excitement the day had brought. On the bright side she didn't have to feed...

As Helena goes to bed, she can feel Strike leaving for hunt.

As the sun starts to rise, Helena wakes up in the tent with Ginny on one side and Red on the other. Strike is curled up near her legs and she apparently brought her another stinger from her hunt. Everyone else seems to be still sleeping.

Helena gets up and stashes the new stinger away, who knew, maybe some of that strange aphrodisiac was still in there. Quietly dressing and heading out of the tent Helena gets a small campfire going again and sits outside, waiting for the others to wake up.
