Strike seems happy to be with Helena, and soon they are both asleep.

When Helena wakes up, Strike is gone again, no doubt hunting for breakfast. Cindy and Jasmine are still asleep, with Cindy looking quite comfortable on Jasmine's arms. It isn't quite dawn yet, but the eastern horizon is already colored red and gold.

Helena had slept fairly well actually, and the morning had turned out rather nicely as well. Still, she had a few questions for Cindy, but they could wait until breakfast had been served properly.

Dishing up the porridge, Helena passed it to the other two after they had risen properly and looked at Cindy as she sat near the fire, always preferring to be nearer the flames then anything else. Helena thinks and nods after a moment, she would check with Strike later and tell the Spider to be more careful. Still, it made sense, Helena hadn't seen any signs of her moving deeper into the forest. A little of Helena's distrust faded, but not all of it. "Alright then, just wanted to know."

Finishing up her meal, Helena started clean up and worked at getting everything packed away for the first leg of the trip. She doubted she would find the time for all of her meditation on the calm ground, so at least one of her daily rounds would be in the wagon, much to her chagrin. Finishing that, with or without help, Helena would wait in the wagon until everyone started moving.

Jasmine washes the dishes while Cindy puts out the fire. The wagon drivers are a little more tardy, but all the same it isn't too long until they're on the road again, with Jasmine sitting next to Helena and Cindy on the opposite side of the wagon.
