Inside, the inn looks positively dull, with only a few patrons drinking cheap beer from even cheaper-looking cups, and the innkeeper - a lean man with unruly beard - futilely polishing a spot with a stubborn burn mark. As the girls walk in, the patrons eye them suspiciously, as does the innkeeper.

Helena looks around and puts the Javelin away, not liking the glances she was getting and not really in the mood... Still, being nice would get them farther then her being in a bitchy mood. Ignoring them, she goes over to the innkeeper.

"Hello, My name is Helena, our caravan was attacked by ghouls, and we're the only survivors, you wouldn't happen to have a room available would you?" She asked politely, flashing a winning smile.

The innkeeper grunts. "That's one bridle for the room and meals for the three of you." Jasmine pulls out a large gold coin and hands it over without a complaint, and the innkeeper hands her a key with another grunt.

"Thank you~" Helena says smiling again. "Shall we go check out the room? my feet are killing me" Helena says with a chuckle. She was hungry, but the chance to sit and rest was too nice to pass up and she would come and get the meals if they weren't brought to the room.

Cindy heads to upstairs, while Jasmine stays to exchange a few words with the innkeeper before following. The room is quite cramped, featuring three narrow beds, three seats and a small round table, and little else. Cindy immediately throws herself on one of the beds before kicking her shoes off, while Jasmine takes one of the chairs.

Helena does the same as Cindy, flopping on a bed and kicking her shoes off. "Beds are AMAZING!" She says loudly smiling as she rolled around a little and settled on her back. Staring up at the ceiling she looked over at Jasmine. "O Wise and Experienced One~ Lead us so that we may know your wisdom!" She said teasingly.

She for one was going to laze about doing NOTHING and enjoying the temporary luxury after so many days and nights cramped in that wagon.

Jasmine mutters something under her breath, and suddenly Helena's underwear turns freezing. "How's that for wisdom?" the succubus asks mischievously.

Helena yelps loudly and tears her lower clothing off before Pantsing Jasmine in revenge. "That was Evil! How did you do that?" Helena was between laughing and honestly curious, standing there pants-less and pondering it while she chuckled, looking at her underwear like a snake that had bitten her.

Jasmine sits down on Helena's bed, pulling her pants back up. "I'll teach you my trick if you teach me yours."

Helena does the same and nods "Sounds like a plan" She says laughing again, opening her mind to Jasmine and sharing the odd little cantrip with her happily. She had no idea how long it would take either of them to learn the others little tricks, but regardless, it would be amusing.

Jasmine quickly shows Helena into a trance and starts teaching her the spell, her amusement shining through at first, to be replaced by concentration. The exchange is much slower than it was inside egg, where all that was exchanged was mental formulas instead of the accompanying words and gestures that seem to be necessary here.

It's past midday when they resurface from the trance, and Cindy seems to be napping.

Helena does her best to learn the new trick while showing Jasmine her own, enjoying the exchange a little more then in the Egg honestly. This all seemed to make more sense in a way, and that was all for the better given the different nature of magic here. Coming out of her trance, Helena suddenly realized she was hungry....

"I'm going to get some food, want anything?" She said, asking Jasmine and Cindy after prodding Cindy awake. "If you nap all day you'll be up all night" she admonished the snoozing girl, really just to be annoying.

Cindy wakes immediately, giving Helena a slap on the hand. "I'll come with you, I'm pretty hungry myself."

Jasmine stretches her arms. "I could use some food myself."

Helena prods Cindy one last time giggling before heading downstairs for some late lunch, wondering what they had to eat and not really caring, food was food and she would destroy it like the hated enemy it was!

The innkeeper indifferently piles a good meal onto a large tray, enough for the three of them: There's pudding, some sort of thick, brown sauce, fried potatoes and a cut of suspicious looking meat and a bottle of wine. Cindy takes the wine and the cups, leaving Helena to deal with the tray.

Helena glares at Cindy's back before looking at the tray of food and remembering her hated days as a waitress, the evil customers, the lewd looks, the lousy tips! In a flash her rage reached new heights and the anger flooding through her body gave her the strength of 10 pissed off waitresses!!!!!

Hefting the tray, Helena brought it to the table and brought great war upon the food, her portion knowing fear as only food could! Taking her third, she brought terrible battle upon it! Destroying it with a fervor that could only be called legendary as she consumed, Consumed like a woman possessed!!!!!!

The food is quite bad and the wine even worse, but at least it puts a buzz in Helena's head. Jasmine and Cindy take their time eating, at least compared to Helena, though neither seems to particularly enjoy the food. At last, Jasmine puts her plate down. "I don't think we ought to stay here very long, if all the food is going to be like this."

"Long? I was only thinking we were staying here for the one night." Helena says before belching and covering her mouth. "Still though, I agree, I could cook better in my sleep."

Helena leans back in her chair and enjoys her buzz, at least lousy alcohol hadn't lost its most important trait.Standing up, Helena once again flopped onto her bed and proceeded to make little lights dance around Cindy's head, wondering where Strike had wandered off to and trying to find her.

Jasmine and Cindy follow Helena's example, each taking to their own beds. Jasmine sits down cross-legged, apparently meditating again while Cindy just lounges, amused by the lights.

Helena chuckles "I know right? fun little trick"

Helena decided to give her new trick a try as well, and formed the lights into little dancing people who bounded around the room. Helena could probably amuse herself for ours with this, but after a few minutes let the spells fade away and decided she would take a look at the flame...

Sitting up and cross-legged, Helena dove into her mind, commanding the flame into her presence and pondering it for a little bit. This wasn't for training, but more for her own curiosity.
