Cindy shrugs, taking a sip of her own ale. "It's the largest city in Nova Vaasa."

The meal is fairly good, but hardly exceptionally so, consisting of spicy sausages and side of vegetables, and the ale is no worse. Both Cindy and Jasmine eat quickly, too, appearing almost as hungry as Helena.

Helena laughs as she pushes an empty plate away and finishes her ale. "Well, we can keep moving or bunk up here for the night I suppose, Its up to you guys, but I think the sooner we make it to the city the better. If we spend too much time dawdling then captain righteous is going to overtake us." She says after thinking for a moment. She would opt for continuing on and getting as much done as possible, but that had more to do with her need to be done with this journey. Traveling had never ended well in this place and she didn't like doing it if she didn't have to.

"Even with stopping early yesterday, we're still walking faster than the caravan. We'll make it to the city pretty soon, I think, Cindy says, finishing her brew and standing up. When the trio get out of the inn, Strike and her new friend appear to have found lunch themselves in the form of two vipers; each with a diamond pattern in their backs.

Helena laughs and scratches Strike on the head, offering the other Spider the same attention if it wanted. On a hunch, she tried to figure out what the gender of the other spider was, not entirely sure but assuming female.

"It's nice to see you two getting along" She said chuckling, screw dogs, she had Spiders.

Walking for a ways, Helena pondered something before prodding at Jasmine *You wouldn't happen to know anything like telekinesis would you? I want to be able to move small objects without touching them* Although she was keeping her plan close to chest, Jasmine would most certainly be able to sense the mischief that was being plotted as well. If Jasmine didn't then Helena supposed she would go back to training, see if that made any difference.

The other spider seems confused by the scratching, but accepts it nevertheless while Strike very definitely enjoys it. Nevertheless, it gives Cindy a hug again, causing her to giggle.

A nobleman riding a fine horse soon passes by them, looking at the spiders suspiciously. *I'm afraid not.*

Helena stares back at the nobleman and laughs a little after he passes. *Shame, I'll have to find another way then I suppose* she sent. After trying to figure out the gender of the other spider on her own, she figured she'd ask Strike, figuring the Spider would know better then she did.

And she was tired of having Strike hide as well, it just wasn't happening and if people didn't like it then she'd set them on fire until they did. Her and Strike were in this together.

Strike confirms that the other spider is a female as well.

As the afternoon goes on, the group sees more and more people until finally after a couple more hours they arrive at the gates of the city. The city has high walls and there are a couple guards at the gate, but they don't make a move to stop any travelers.

Helena smiles at the thought of two female Spiders, males must have been fairly rare then, or she only attracted friendly females...

Reaching the city, Helena didn't stop or ask questions, just kept walking, Spider in tow. If she wound up drawing a lot of attention, then that freed Jasmine and Cindy to do the job. Still, there was always lying and saying the Spider's were simply very well trained pets. Regardless, they were here, and they could take a breather.

Reaching out to Cindy, Helena asked *You know this area better then we do. What do you think we should do. From what I can tell, Magic is pretty frowned on here...*

The spiders certainly gather a few odd looks, but nothing more. *I've never been here either.* Cindy answers, looking around. The city seems strangely cramped, despite all the open plains outside, and there are many beggars in the street, not that those who appear to be working look much better off.

Looking around and keeping Strike close, Helena was disgusted by what she saw. This shit needed to change...

Looking around, Helena sought out an Inn first. Lodgings were going to be important here, after that they could plan their next move in private. If they wound up in the underbelly of the city again afterwards then so be it. But first and foremost was their reason for being here before pleasure. There was a Nobleman who was apparently in need of a very short haircut.

Jasmine concentrates for a moment before leading Helena and Cindy north and eventually into a comfortable looking inn clad in red tapestries and furnished with thick curtains separating each table of the common room, emphasizing discretion. The innkeeper is a rather beautiful woman clad in seductive outfit, though there are two seemingly idle men armed with cudgels nearby, looking for trouble.

Helena looks around at the place, impressed at Jasmine's choice and knowing this would do very nicely indeed. Walking up to the woman in charge, Helena nodded slightly and spoke. "My name is Helena, Its a pleasure. May I ask about possible lodgings here for me and my friends?" she said very politely, smiling and throwing her charisma into the act. It was easier to make friends with honey after all. *Anything I should know about this place Jasmine?*

The woman answer Helena's smile, and from close Helena can see that her beauty is the effect of skilled application of make-up rather than natural. "But of course. Will you be accepting visitors?"

Helena returns the smile and thinks for a minute. "We would prefer to be asked first before any visitors are admitted, we don't much like surprises and value our privacy very highly." She said, looking around again at the luxurious place.

"If that is acceptable then I think we shall get along nicely" Helena says, extending her hand.

The woman pulls out a set of keys from under the table and hands them to Helena. "Certainly. It's the first door to the left in the third floor. There's a bell that will be rung should there be a possible visit, and a speaking tube through which it may be confirmed. The suite is 20 bridles per night and includes food - both usual meals and special orders - guides to the city, and any special needs you should have, delivered at competitive prices and complete discretion."

Helena nods and thinks for a moment. "M'am, I am engaged in certain businesses, and should you encounter any... customers needing a little release, feel free to ask me. I charge a fairly decent price, but should you send any my way I will happily give you 10% of my earnings."

Helena waited quietly for the answer, it was a good way to get easy meals and nothing she didn't mind really. What mattered was the patrons attitude towards it and her ability to realize a good offer when she heard one...

The innkeeper shakes her head. "Miss, should you engage in any personal business, that is none of my concern. I merely offer lodgings and some complimentary services. This isn't a whorehouse."

Helena shrugs "If that is your policy then so be it." She says still smiling. "Should you have a change of heart for whatever reason, please ask, but I wont bring up the thought again."

Turning to her companions, Helena gave them a look and asked "Is everything acceptable to you?"

Cindy shrugs. "As long as I don't have to get involved in whatever you and Jasmine are cooking up."

Jasmine pulls out her purse and hands out the money. "Let's go see the rooms, then."
