Jasmine shrugs and catches one of the lights in her hand, causing her fist to glow. "She got bored and decided to go look around the city. Anything you'd like to do? I have a couple spells you might be able to learn."

Helena brightened up considerably at the mention of more spells. "Absolutely, I'm in" Helena said grinning ear to ear, Magic was fun, and more spells were always useful. "What did you have in mind?" she asked curiously, moving to join the pair on the now crowded bed.

Jasmine grins. "This one should be useful if we come across other succubi." Reaching out to Helena's mind, the older succubi starts instructing her in a detection spell of some sort.

Several hours pass as the intricate gestures press themselves into Helena's memory. Cindy visits the room briefly before leaving again, and Aqua starts playing with Fenrir. Finally Helena starts feeling as if she really knows the spell.

Helena commits it all to memory as the motions, the words, and the feel of the spell are slowly but surely burned into her mind, completely and utterly disregarding everything else around her until she was dead certain she had a handle on it. If her feeling was right, then she had an idea of what it was for, but it never hurt to ask. "Remember the last time I used a spell without knowing what it was? Well... what is this one exactly."

"It lets you detect when someone is being supernaturally influenced. You can try it now, though you shouldn't detect anything." Jasmine says, leaning back against the slimecushion.

Helena nods and goes through the motions of the spell just to get a feel for it and to try it out, just because practice was always good and she was curious. It was odd that this spell was something outside of her natural abilities but if that was the case then so be it, another useful ability in her arsenal.

It's almost as if everything is bathed in eerie light as colours seem to fade slightly. The only exception is Jasmine, who seems to have a very faint aura around her. "Looks like you've got it."

"Very cool~" Helena says, dropping the spell so the world went back to being it's old vibrant self. "And handy, would be nice to know if someone's trying to get to us that way, but it's also a little draining, I couldn't keep it up for ever. Still, thank you very much" Helena added, smiling. Looking out the window, Helena scratched her arm but now just relegated all the symptoms of the coming moon as an annoyance, like an allergy that she simply had to ignore from now on, although that didn't make being all furry and tail waggy any less fun or enjoyable. Turning a vibrant shade of green, Helena started moving around the room, seeing if she could change her form fast enough to blend in with the walls, and if she could fade almost completely like a chameleon if she stood still enough, an interesting idea that had come almost completely out of nowhere.

Looking through the window, Helena notices that the sun is setting. Jasmine stretches around before putting on some clothes. "I think I'll fetch the dinner."

"Sounds like a plan, afterwards I'll probably take Fenrir out for another romp and stretch my wings a bit" Helena said smiling. She really just didn't want to be cooped up and was far from tired.

Waiting for dinner, Helena suddenly thought about it and decided she wanted something to drink as well, shooting down the stairs to get some wine as well for everyone and the glasses for it before running back upstairs, probably past Jasmine at some point.

Helena manages to negotiate a bottle of wine and returns to upstairs before Jasmine. She finds Cindy and Willow in Cindy's room.

Helena manages to accomplish the procurement of blessed alcohol quickly and returns to the room to find Cindy and Willow there. "Well hello sleepyhead" Helena said to Willow cheerfully, pouring everyone a glass. "Glad you're awake, wasn't sure how long you were going to nap, though I suppose I did meditate for a long time. So... Not overly surprised. How're you feeling?" She asked sipping on her wine.

Willow leans back on her seat. "I'm feeling alright. Relatively speaking, anyway." Jasmine comes back with the food and sets in on the table. The tray is filled with different kinds of pies. "Turns out they were baking tonight. We got lucky."

Helena smiles and nods. "I promise, we'll raise your tolerance for punishment to unbelievable levels" She said winking at Willow before jasmine came in with Pie. Pie was good, and the smell was divine. "Lucky indeed~~!" Helena says pouring wine for Jasmine while she took another drink of her own and moved to the table for dinner. Eating enthusiastically, but not like a wild animal, Helena enjoyed the meal immensely before grinning and leaning back in the chair, relaxing. "Deeeelicious."

Willow gives Helena a Look, slightly spoiled by a blush. The others seem to enjoy the meal as well, especially Willow, who drinks more than usual, and Aqua, who starts out puzzled, but quickly catches up.

Re: Are the stars right?(Helena/Courage Wolf)

Helena can only giggle to herself at Willow's look, deciding not to tease her any further for now and to simply focus on everyone enjoying the meal together. They ate and drank heartily, and helena was pretty sure they were all nursing a good buzz pretty quickly. The next half hour or so was passed as Helena waited for the sun to set completely, wanting night to fall, she really wanted to stretch her wings badly, just to run or fly and revel in it. Deciding the time would be best passed singing, Helena remembered the song Jasmine had sung on the ship, and took it up, hoping jasmine would join her as she sang the night away, matching the music with the same trick she had used during the prestidigitation contest awhile ago, soon filling the room with dancing lights colored to match the music in a sureal way. After that song had finished, Helena shared to words of another with Jasmine, a far happier tune and started dancing around the flowing colours, somehow miraculously pulling at least 1 other person into the dance smiling and living in the moment for now as the song continued and the night started to truly fall.

Jasmine joins the singing, adding her own lights to the mix while the others just enjoy the show. Eventually time passes and the spiders leave for the roof to sleep as darkness sweeps in.

Re: Are the stars right?(Helena/Courage Wolf)

The night was a glorious blur of music and light and colour and love for her friends and Helena put on a show just for them until she was sweating with exertion and night fell before flopping into a chair to catch her breath. "Thanks Jasmine, your voice is as beautiful as always" She said, just as the lights faded like stars in the sunrise.

After a few minutes, Helena stretched, far from done tonight. Moving to the window, Helena looked around before vanishing into thin air, the simple spell easily her favourite, and then she was off like a shot into the night air, rising fast and high as the spell faded and she was simply another shadow in the cool night air. Crying out in absolute joy, Helena headed out of the city to land some ways away, keeping her eyes open even as she landed and ran for almost a hundred yards before vaulting into the air again, burning off all of her frustration at being cooped up.

It was like a songbird finding freedom, at least to her in this moment it was. The energy from the moon still pounded through her veins just as much as the energy from the feeding of the last few days and Helena would dance on the ground and in the air until her wanderlust had been sated, simply basking in the moonlight, alone or with anyone else, hopefuly Jasmine, who cared to join her.

Re: Are the stars right?(Helena/Courage Wolf)

The cool night air feels wonderful as the silvery moonlight paints everything with its silvery light. As she gets outside the city walls, Helena can see campfires in distance, though still good ways away. There's no-one to see her, no-one to stop her, and nothing but the pure joy of movement.

Re: Are the stars right?(Helena/Courage Wolf)

"CAMPFIRES!" Helena actually says loudly as she spots them in the air after several minutes of simply enjoying herself, curious now, Helena carefully made her way towards them, floating close to the ground and moving like a flash until she was too close to safely be herself anymore. Putting away her scary bits, Helena started to make her way closer, throwing her mind out for emotional clues just in case. No point in saying hello if all you could feel was hatred and bloodlust after all.
