The rest of the day passes slowly, with the heat and sand testing their patience already worn thin by the mists and Helena and Jasmine taking turns watching the caravan from above, but eventually the sun starts to set and a camp is made. Strangely enough, everyone seems to be in their best mood since the caravan entered the mists, except for Aqua, who refuses to come out of her barrel until the sun has set and the temperature drops to something more tolerable.

The day manages to pass itself in a thankfully boring fashion as everyone seems to be short tempered, uncomfortable, and generally easy to annoy, making the animals alone a handful, and Aqua a barrel dwelling hermit. Although none of this particularly bothered Helena, she started to relish her moments in the air on guard more and more as it put a little distance between herself and the generally grouchy atmosphere below which was in itself a breath of fresh air.

Landing at the end of the last watch as the sun started to set and the air started to cool, Helena stretched and started helping to set up camp, simply going through the motions at this point since it become so normal, chewing on a few coffee beans rather then making the hot brew and finding that far preferable to doing anything that would actually raise her already pretty stable body temperature.

Sweaty, but in an otherwise cheerful mood, Helena decided to sing while she worked, a simple lighthearted tune as she tried to improve everyone elses mood as well, tired of the attitude, although it was markebly improved from the time in the mist. So it was grouchy, but less insane and paranoid, excellent. Sighing after the camp was made, Helena started singing more loudly and dragging people into a dance she had started rather spontaneously in the sands around one of the fires, her body twisting and writhing in the motions as she tried to get everyone else to liven up a bit.

Helena manages to get some of the lamia females dancing with her, and she can feel the mood improving as the harps and flutes join the music. Serane seems to be whispering with Jasmine again, to Cindy's amusement.

Helena, seeing her efforts once again coming to some measure of success was only emboldened to try harder, matching the tune of the instruments around her as the dance continued and she continued her efforts at pulling more people into the fun, tempting the males if she had to and pointing them towards the dancing women that had joined her. "Come on~ If you're going to brood all night we wont have any fun!" She said laughing as she infected the crowd with her natural good nature and willingness to play.

The whisperings of her sister did not escape her however and once again she wondered if she had frenemies more then friends! It was like being part of a venician court for christ's sake, only instead of daggers, what was usually thrust were dicks! This was getting rediculous! Amusing, highly amusing in fact and usually quite fun, but rediculous! Because Helena was certain she would find someone more interested in pounding her rear then fucking her properly!

After some more whispering, Serane and Jasmine join the dance while Cindy stays where she is. Someone has opened a few bottles of wine, and Willow is sitting on a young lamia with a bottle in hand, laughing with her. The overall mood seems to be improving rapidly.

That was much better, everyone was starting to smile and actually enjoy themselves, which was a huge improvement. Let it never be said that Helena let people feel shitty! Laughing and singing, Helena changed to several roudy drinking songs and started to dance like she meant it, getting a few of the guys to line up and sing as they danced, helena, to her great amusement seeing it was the lads she had qoute unqoute punished.

Everything was going great, which meant something was going to go horribly wrong, or that.she was going to freak or the spiders were going to eat someone's prized pomeranian. Helena in short, no longer trusted peace, but that didn't mean she wasn't going to enjoy it.

The signing and dancing continue long into the night and drinks flow freely. After a long evening Helena finds the music fading away and people head into their wagons, though strangely enough, Serane seems to have found another sleeping place and Willow heads to her wagon alone.
