"T-Thanks, I really do love her," Shiori replied, smiling back at the arachne as she helped Kaei sit down against the tree, kissing her mate on the cheek. "Go ahead and get some rest okay sweetie, I'll wake you up when it's time to leave so we can get back to Karen okay," Shiori added to Kaei as she eased her down against the tree she'd chosen to rest at.

Once Kaei was sitting down, Shiori noticed she was already drifting off to sleep. Shiori figured that she must have been very exhausted after giving birth to Sakura earlier, so she decided to just let her rest for now, thinking she needed it most likely. Shiori then turned back to the arachne. "Yeah sure, it'd probably be good to know what all happened exactly. And I'm Shiori by the way, I don't remember if I ever told you my name before. What's your name? Or what can I call you? And are you okay after stabbing yourself earlier?" Shiori said to the arachne after helping Kaei down to rest, sitting beside her mate and letting Kaei lay her head on her shoulder.

"I dont really have a name, but im fine, thanks for your concern, this all started a while back when we were both partners, a bit of bad blood happened and lets say we both slipped something into each others drinks, it only got worse because we were competing for food and so forth" the arachane explained that the two had a bit of a history of grievances with each other, it slightly saddened Shiori that they had used to be friends...

"Oh so you two used to be friends? That's sad. Have you ever thought of trying to patch things up between you both? I'd help if you wanted me to. Unless you'd rather just leave this forest, in which case you could come with us. There's a forest where other arachnes live, unless you'd like to stay in miss Tendril's tower," Shiori said to the arachne in a slightly saddened tone, thinking hard on something for a moment before continuing, "And you need a name I think. How does... Gina sound?"

The arachane shook her head and said "I dont think we can patch it up, shes tried killing me once or twice.", she smiled at her offer at getting her a place to stay "Id love to find a new place to stay, it would be nice to be with my own kind, and yes thats a lovely name Shiori." the now named Gina smiled and hugged Shiori, also saying "Your baby is beautiful as well, congratulations, i wish i could find someone to be with...".

"That's sad that she tried to kill you. Friends should take care of each other, no hurt each other. But Tendril's tower where I'd be staying at probably wouldn't have any other arachne, but the forests near there do. And you're welcome also, for the name I mean," Shiori said with a kind smile, returning Gina's hug before continuing, "And thank you for saying Sakura is beautiful, you're really nice, So I'm certain you'd be able to find someone to be with." Shiori finished, giving Gina a slightly suggestive wink as she did so, thinking what it could be like with the arachne as she remembered her's and Kaei's encounter with the one back in the forest a few days before.

"But we'd have to wait until we get back for any of that. I hope you don't mind cold environments, because we'd be going out into an area that's pretty damn cold," Shiori said after a few moments to give Gina a little time to comprehend that Shiori was offering to please her some with the wink she gave her.

Once Gina was ready to leave, Shiori gently shook Kaei to wake her up, but not hard enough to wake the baby, whispering to her that it was time to go now. Then once Kaei was awake again and all, they would head on back to the temple, going wide around to keep the fog woman from noticing them and maybe trying to hurt Gina again.

Taking her hand, Gina shook her head in response to Shiori asking if she had a problem with being out in cold weather, shivering Shiori could see that Gina had tapped on a tree a few times, revealing a lever that upon being pulled would expose a secret stairwell leading back into the frozen cathedral, the door itself was blocked by a cabinet of books in the cathedral itself.

They set out from Gina's place in those woods and headed on back to where the fog woman had told them to go to get back to the temple that Shiori and Kaei had come in from. Once there, Gina tapped a tree a couple of times and Shiori noticed a lever pop out, which she pulled and then saw the stairwell that led back into the old frozen place.

"Okay Kaei, keep Sakura close, because it's really cold in there remember. Actually, come here," Shiori said pulling Kaei close and pulling a couple of the warm crystals out of her pockets and sacrificing some of her own warmth for her child by putting them into the blanket for Sakura to keep her warm for when they went on back into the cathedral and then on to find Karen.

Giving the bookcase a push to move it out of the way, though she tried to keep from knocking it over if she could, Shiori would open the door and lead the two on out and out of the cathedral to find Karen and see if she was ready, and to tell her the good news with Sakura. As soon as they got back to their companion, Shiori would be grinning ear to ear and keep Kaei behind her so that Karen didn't see Sakura until she was right up next to them, at which point she would step out of the way and show Karen their baby.

The group eventually made their way out of the cathedral and back to the cave where Karen and her group of fairy crushers were waiting, Karen was currently asleep, as was the fairy crushers, Karen snuggled up with one of the crushers and snoring rather loudly as her wolf ears twitched, Kaei yawned and her own wolf ears twitched as well, she herself quietely stating "Sleepy...."

After moving the bookcase out of their way, Shiori and company moved on to the cave where Karen said she'd be waiting. The young futa okami found her fellow futa okami asleep and snuggled up against one of the fairy crushers, the sound of her snoring bringing a smile to Shiori's lips as they entered. When Kaei yawned and mumbled that she was sleepy again as well, Shiori decided that her mate needed to rest since she didn't really get much chance to after having Sakura.

Shiori had wanted to show Sakura to Karen, wondering what she'd have say about it. She also wondered if she was able to have more children, or if she'd have to get Karen do the thing she'd been planning on doing to her before she got the corruption removed from both her and Kaei. With that, Shiori set her backpack down and got her bedroll out, laying it down and helping Kaei down into it with Sakura.

"I guess we'll be getting a little rest before heading onwards then Gina. Hope you don't mind?" Shiori said to Gina, moving to get down into her bedroll with Kaei and Sakura, pulling the two close, but not so close that she smothers Sakura or anything. Shiori wouldn't fight sleep if it came to her as she lay there holding her mate and child, telling Gina to lay close to them for warmth if she needed it.

The group started to settle down to sleep, Gina was resting besides Karen and snuggling up to her warm fur so she wouldnt sleep cold, the group easily finding sleep as Sakura, Shiori and Kaei snuggled together, in her sleep Shiori was prompted by the egg, stating that she had been playing for quite a long time and that it would be a wide idea to take a break at this point.

After slipping into the bedroll with Kaei, Shiori watched Gina snuggle up to Karen and wondered if that would frighten Karen when she awakened. Smiling to herself that it would likely startle her a little, Shiori soon drifted off to sleep with Kaei in her arms and Sakura safely between them both to keep her warm. As soon as she was asleep, Shiori got a prompt from the EGG telling her to take a break for now, and so she decided to go ahead and get her break out of the way so she could get back in there with Kaei and her child, as she was really starting to get into this game.

Huh? Oh wait shit, i was referring to the fur on her clothing, its how shes naturally warm, definitely not furry o.o

...

A day passes and Shiori is allowed to boot up the game again, however this time there was a option for continuing her saved game, trying something called "Quick Play" and another mode called "The Arena."

When she got out of the EGG machine, Shiori was told she'd have to wait until the next day to play it again, as she needed to rest and take a break for the rest of the day. So after bidding farewell to her tech she headed on home for the day. The next day, Shiori returned and got into the EGG machine and was given another prompt by the EGG, telling her she could continue, start a new game, or try a quick play game, and then the arena mode. She started to check the arena mode out, but decided to go back and start her save game, wanting to see how Kaei and the others were doing.

The arena prompted her to pick a character she already had, stating itself to be a mode similar to the arena they found in the desert earlier, once more it was her choice whether to continue on or get back into her game.

Shiori decided against anything but starting her save game back up, wanting to know what all had happened with Kaei and their child. As well as finding out about Karen and Gina, and wondering what her fellow futa okami would think about seeing Sakura.

Loading up her saved game, Shiori found herself ebbing back into the shoes of her virtual self, waking up after her long nap she could see Karen still snuggling with Gina, Kaei was still gently holding Sakura and rocking her in her own sleep, they all looked so cute together...

As she started the EGG back up, Shiori was put back into her game and found herself waking up as her EGG character again. When she woke back up, Shiori saw Karen still asleep and snuggled up to Gina, while Kaei was still asleep with Sakura, looking happy and still gently rocking the baby while they both slept. Shiori couldn't help but think that Kaei was going to make a good mother, so that meant all she had to do was be a good alpha and protect them both. She decided to just let everyone sleep for now, thinking they could all do with a good rest for a little while before moving on, so she merely lay there and awaited for Kaei and the others to awaken, holding Kaei and Sakura lovingly in her arms, kissing both on the forehead.

"Hey there, have a nice sleep sweetie?" Shiori would say, only once Kaei had woken on her own.

Yawning and waking up, Kaei smiled and said "Yeah....i was dreaming about you~" sweetly as she kissed Shioris cheek, Karen and Gina still snoring with each other and rolling about in their sleep, Sakura was still sound asleep as well.

"Same here, I was dreaming about you too," Shiori replied, returning Kaei's kiss, though on the lips instead of the cheek. She glanced over to see Karen and Gina both still happily snoozing away with one another and moving around a little in their sleep, and she also noticed baby Sakura was still asleep too, which was good.

After a couple of minutes laying there just cuddling with Kaei, Shiori would raise up after giving her mate another kiss, where she would stretch and then rummage around in her pack for something small to eat until they got back to Tendril's tower. She would wait for Karen and Gina to both wake up, deciding not to wake them as they all needed the sleep. When Karen did wake up though, Shiori would introduce her and Gina to each other, and then she'd show Sakura to her friend, with a big happy smile plastered on her face.

The two rummaged through their backpacks and got out a few rations to share amongst each other temporarily, a few minutes after they had eaten Sakura had woken up, cooing slightly and reaching for Shiori, Kaei smiled and handed her to Shiori so she could cuddle with her baby while they waited for Gina and Karen to wake up.
