The first bit of information was found by Hectate, gleaning information from the text document she only found out about what the experiment was meant to achieve, stuff she already knew, however she did find that the text file noted that every file that contained key information would be evenly numbered, but it would be password protected, damn, maybe she could guess the password...?

The long and short of things, was that she couldn't. She would need to find the offices to hope to find that kind of information. She knew a little about the inner workings of a computer, but next to nothing about programming or hacking. At a loss as to how to continue, Hecate swore and opened the email, maybe she would get lucky.

Going into the emails, she could see there werent many, the only interesting one had the subject line of "A severe reprimand", opening it curiously Hectate could see that whoever received this was being scolded for not choosing a strong password, and making many cynical remarks about how "password" is not a good password, and giving a few tips on how to make a better password, all the other emails were boring non-related ones.

No way... Some idiot had actually made their password "Password"? That took a certain kind of special that generally wound up on the short bus. Heading back to the even numbered directory, Hecate punched it in, hoping that captain genius hadn't changed it yet.

Sure enough, the password worked and opened up the second file, this file listed some interesting things Hectate wasnt told about, like a "Experimental Gas" that would effect non-humans only and would "Bring some bizzare changes or effects", she also found out that security would have been very tight, obviously not tight enough as she had found out.

It was looking more and more like not only had something gone wrong, but that it had been set up to go wrong. Experimental gas affecting only non humans was bad news for her since she had done away with her humanity for the advantages it had given her. She highly doubted that beating a vampire was within her abilities as a human, even in full armour with a gun. But it had it's drawbacks.

With the information that she needed now in hand, Hecate headed to the door she had seen in the room earlier. There was a great deal more to this story, and it needed sorting before she could make a real decision on what to do. it was becoming obvious that simply escaping wasn't enough...

In that room seemed to be the main storage room for medical supplies, although someones beaten Hectate to it, she did find a discarded crowbar, a handy backup weapon, it was probably used to pry open the medical cupboard.

Hecate sighed when she saw the empty store room, picking up the crowbar and sticking it in her chest to carry it, the tool just floating around for now. She was probably going to be carrying more that way eventually, in what was probably a comical fashion.

Shrugging, A little annoyed, she headed back to the fork and headed in the other direction, wondering what Zenia had found.

Going down the route Zenia went down, she found Zenia panting and standing over the corpse of a writhing mass of tentacles, from the bullet casings around she could tell Zenia took down these tentacles with four shots, looking up at Hectate, Zenia smiled and waved, her bra slightly disheveled from almost being raped.

Hecate waved back and then oozed over the fallen creature and ate it. Because it never paid to be messy, and a free meal was a free meal. "I see you handled yourself quite well" She said to Zenia smiling.

Hectate felt the tentacles become a part of her core, giving her a few more tentacles, nodding, Zenia pushed her bra back into the proper position, "What did you find?" she asked.

"That this place is more then it seems. Apart from everything else it seems they were working on experimenting on nun humans. I got some notes regarding a gas that didn't affect people, but certainly messed with non humans like you and me now and probably the vampire etc. Needless to say, there's a lot more going on. There was also supposed to be a lot more security, but I don't know about you, I haven't seen any. I wonder where they all got off to, or simply abandoned the facility." Hecate explained, waggling her new tentacles experimentally.

"Find anything apart from snuggly mchuggy pants here" Hecate asked after a moment, looking down the hallway.

Zenia thought for a moment, then nodded "Just a bottle of water..." she said, patting the pocket which held her found water bottle.

Hecate nodded, "Then on we go" She said smiling, taking the lead and exploring farther down the passageway. It was safe to assume that Zenia hadn't made it to the end of the passage she had taken, wondering what waited if an operation theatre was down the other...

Down at the end of that corridor was a curious sight, it was a viewing deck, the floor, walls and ceiling were made of glass and there was a table and chair in the center of the room, looking out of the room they could see a vast expanse of the ocean, fish swinging about and slightly below them, another complex, Zenia was enjoying the view, Hectate saw someone up against the glass outside, a woman with the fish of a tail...a mermaid, she smiled and waved to Hectate, then swam off out of sight.

Hecate stared around in mild fascination, wondering what it would be like to be in that much water in her current body, betting it would be like the most natural thing she could experience. Something about it called to her. But she jiggled in surprise and widened her eyes when she saw the mermaid. But the mermaid was gone as quickly as it had come. "Well this is interesting...."

Zenia nodded as the two marveled at the sight, looking down at the facility Zenia said "Hey...Hectate, do you think we should get down there? We might know a bit more about what happened...", it was a good idea, but they needed to find a way to get to it first, probably they would need a underwater tunnel or some kind of aquatic submersible.

Hecate nodded, immediately starting to look around for a way in, rather then her usual JUMP IN reaction. Which would have probably worked just fine for her, but Zenia would be in trouble. It was all just a matter of finding the way...

Looking around the viewing deck, Zenia and Hectate found nothing, however they did find a plan of the complex on the table, it was torn up and the pieces scattered, but they found a specific piece that said "To access other facilities, please use underwater tunnels or a submarine provided at the top floor", they knew where they needed to go now, but the adventuring had to wait, the two looked back and saw something rushing down the corridor towards them, a pair of glowing eyes staring at them in the darkness, then another pair...and another pair and another and another and another...

"Zenia, Start shooting!" Hecate shouted even as a tendril extended into the water nearby, a tunnel forming in her form and extending out through another, a powerful jet of water cycled through her body as it rippled and flexed, using her body as a pump to give her a little time as she absorbed more and more of the water into her form, trying to increase her size as she saw how many creatures they were up against...
