Rolas laughed, as did Charlotte, and they made their way back to the cabin where like the amazing host he was, Ryan already had a meal of roast lamb waiting. where he had gotten lamb was a mystery he wasn't sharing, but along with the lamb was roast potatoes, and good red wine, all just waiting for everyone, Ryan wearing an apron that said. "Fairies suck, Alraune's swallow" That made even Mino laugh for a moment. "Welcome back ladies, Although this is not technically breakfast fare, I had to cook it all, so it's breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Eat up, it's going to be a long day I bet."

Smiling as her breakfast was prepared, Minos face had the look of a child on it as she hungrily scarfed down her food and drink once again, it seemed that even though all the sex and corruption was getting to Mino, her meek, shy and voraciously hungry personality was relatively untouched.

As much as Mino wanted to bring Rolas along, she was afraid she`d let her lust get the better of her again, and hey, going on her own without having a safety net would help out her training, Mino used a cloth to brush some crumbs away from her mouth and she said "Ill go on my own!"

"If you're sure that's the right choice" Rolas said, looking a little worried but resigning herself as Charlotte handed her the map. "Best to leave soon then, it's a long walk." The Witch said, smiling sweetly and not thinking about the issue again, confident in Mino's conviction to see the job through on her own.

Nodding as she took the map, Mino retrieved her spear and left the cabin after finishing her food, she looked at the map, determined her location and started following the route mapped out, now instead of being cautious and scared at twigs snapping, Mino was looking around and mantaining her guard without being cautious or easily scared as she trekked along.

She felt like a new woman, as everyone wished Mino the best of luck and she struck out towards her now clear goal with a strong heart and a stronger resolve. She hadn't chosen the safety her old home had heralded, but the strange new world that had given birth to her new strength through trial by fire, no longer cowering in fear at the slightest hint of a threat, but walking tall and proud, her weapon held with new confidence. It was maybe an hour into the trek that Mino hit a small stream, everything seeming peaceful. The map showed she was about halfway there and making good time as the sun started to hit high noon, the shadows shortening minute by minute and the cool water looking inviting under the oppressive heat that seemed to settle in. It was unnaturally warm today...

Mino was about halfway to her destination, she stopped at a stream to sit against a tree and rest for a bit, remaining in the shade due to the almost unnatural warmth, she figured she would be able to tank it if she stuck to shady areas like under trees, after resting she would continue on, sticking to the shade this time around.

And then it was all fucking ruined when something slammed into her chest and stuck to her, knocking her head against the back of the tree, causing entirely too much pain, and immediately starting to drag her back towards the water with surprising strength. It was almost impossible to see where the tongue had come from, but logic dictated it was at the other end of this tongue... which just seemed to vanish at the edge of the water, still trying to drag her closer.

Mino saw a gigantic frog, slimy, dark blue like the water had been, and still shimmering slightly like it was trying to hide itself again even as she pushed herself out from under it and left a large gash in it's side, the creature hopping to the side to lash at her with it's tongue again, missing by inches as the thick muscle snapped back into it's mouth

Mino couldnt get another hit in, the frog hopped over her in a cunning move, leaving her nowhere to run as the river was behind her, she waited once again, to try and get another hit in on the frogs tongue.
