Seeing that Kylie was calming down a bit, Delilah let out a sigh of relief, especially when she glanced over to see Tina starting to calm down also. When she saw Kylie's hidden blades retreating back into their bracers, Delilah lowered her arms a bit, however when Kylie spoke and told Tina if she ever accused her like that again, Kylie would find herself lightly slapped across the cheek, not to hurt, but to get her attention more than anything else. "Kylie... don't ever let me hear you say you'll kill one of my sisters again please. I don't care what's been done to you, and Tina... apologize right now," Delilah said to the two, looking dead serious.
"I'm sorry Kylie... I... I rarely get like that. Please forgive me. I just... when it comes to my baby sister and all like that, I just... lose control," Tina said calmly after taking a deep breath and letting it out slowly, apparently not caring what Kylie had said.
Delilah would then turn to Kylie and gave her a look that said for her to apologize to Tina, waiting until she also apologized before speaking again, thanking them both for doing the mature thing and apologizing. "Now Kylie, let me explain Giselle's past to you, and yes Hazel can be a bitch, but she was only doing what succubi do, and she was trying to help out a friend in the process. I know she has a strange way of helping, but it's her way, so it's best to just go with it because she doesn't listen to any of us unless it's something serious anyway," Delilah said, taking a breath before continuing as she launched into her story about Giselle, "Giselle... has had a hard life. She witnessed our parents deaths when she was just ten years old, watching mom get raped just before she was killed that day. It traumatized her for several years, in which she didn't speak at all. We... all of us actually were scared she'd never talk again, and she just stared lifelessly at whatever she looked at, as if she didn't care about anything. Well eventually we managed to coax some life back into her, on her sixteenth birthday she saw the cake that me and Tina made for her and her eyes just lit up all of a sudden, we never understood why she chose that specific time to come to terms enough to come out of her shell and all, but we didn't care. Because quite honestly... with the way she'd been acting for six years up until that point, we had almost wished that she'd been killed to, because the way she acted was almost worse than her dying Kylie."
Delilah stopped for a few moments to take a breath, in which she gestured back towards Giselle's house, motioning for both of them to follow and not taking no for an answer. Once back inside, she got herself a glass of water and took a drink. "Anyway though, we were happy that she'd come back to us, and she even started singing not long after that. Well when she turned seventeen, she met her first lover. He didn't know about her being like she is with the penis and all, and they grew very close to one another, and one day they wanted to take things to the next level, and the next thing we knew he'd ran from the house screaming about not being gay or something to that effect, I forget exactly because I was busy consoling her while she cried her eyes out. Well she sank into a depression for about a month, in which around the end of it she acted like she did when she was younger after mom and dad died. But she came out of it thankfully, but a few months later, she met someone else, and he also fled when they tried to have sex, sending her into yet another depression," Delilah explained some more, stopping for another couple of drinks of water to wet her throat, then once she'd done that she went on, "Well her third lover was a woman, her first female one, and she actually didn't mind that Giselle was a hermaphrodite, in fact she'd heard through the grapevine as they say about it, and said that was one of the main reasons she wanted to start seeing Kylie. However that one was not meant to be, because this girl... well she was taken one day by one of the evil creatures of the island and when the search parties found her, she was dead. As you can probably guess, she got depressed, a lot more this time around. I... I confess I kind of thought she'd think about it, but... I never thought she'd actually try and go through with it."
"She tried to hang herself... went and bought some rope that day, brought it back here, tying it around and into a noose as she went through the village, which concerned a lot of people, because they'd heard about Giselle and that girl seeing each other, so a few of them came and got me, since Delilah was out at the time. I burst into her little house here just as she was turning purple. Gods if I'd have been a second later she probably would have killed her silly self. I rushed in and wrapped my arms around her legs and held her up and screamed for help until a few of the village guards came and helped me get her down. After that we kept a very close eye on her, and she never slept alone for nearly a year," Tina said, picking up the story and giving a firsthand account as to what happened then.
"Mhmm, and she'd gone back into her depressed shell again too, it was so sad to see her like that Kylie... I mean... you've never seen someone so... dead, without actually being dead. At least I know I haven't and I never want to again," Delilah picked the story back up, wiping away a few tears as she took another drink and continued, "Anyway though, after that, she went through another fifteen lovers over five years. Each and every one of her relationships either ending in her getting jilted or something, several men and women alike leaving her, either for someone else, or because they'd come from one of the other villages and didn't know of her being a hermaphrodite and not liking it, or something to that effect. Last year though, she had... quite a meaningful relationship with a woman from another village who moved here with her family. The two of them were perfect for one another, they had fun together, and they were rarely apart save when they went to their respective homes, because this girl, she was rather young considering she was an angel and all. Well one day, about six months after they had started seeing each other, already having had sex many times in that time. Giselle proposed to her one day though, and this angel told her she was sorry, but she couldn't marry her. When Giselle asked her why not she replied that she couldn't because she had to heal this island of the corruption that dwells within it, and she couldn't marry Giselle while there was corruption left here."
"And this poor angel tried to take on these two evil succubi that dwell far to the north on the island, and Giselle heard she what she was going to do and rushed off after her beloved, to try and help her and or dissuade her from trying. Well in the end she didn't get there in time, and when she did, all she saw was her beloved angel laying there in that dark cavern on that bed, her wings turned black and all radiance about her gone. She had fallen because those two succubi corrupted her completely. Giselle barely escaped alive because her once lover turned on her and tried to take her and drain her soul, but Giselle... our brave little Giselle took her spear and stabbed the woman she loved so much, more than herself, and killed her. In the end she likely saved the entire island, but... she all but destroyed herself in the process," Tina took over once again, giving Kylie a very sorrowful ending to their story, with the two of them crying softly as she did.
"And that Kylie is why she's so fragile, why she's so shy, and why she ran away, because she thought you were leaving her like all of the others did, because several of them told her they'd be back the next morning and the next thing we heard was her crying, and that they had skipped town," Delilah added as an after thought to their story. The entire thing likely giving Kylie knowledge as to why Tina had gone off the deep end on her like she had, and likely bringing her to tears as well.
"Now Ilyana has several teams of the village guards out hunting for her, and Shaela, Hazel, among a few others are out looking too. But... if I had to guess where to start looking for her, then it'd be somewhere near her special place that she took you night before last to see the moon, she's always going there," Delilah told Kylie after a minute or so of crying silently, holding Tina again all the while as they remembered what all their younger sister had gone through up until now. "But before we go, here, let me look at that cheek. You'll want to look presentable when we find her, because we're going with you," Delilah added, moving over to get something out of a drawer in the bedroom, which turned out to be a bit of makeup that she applied to Kylie's cheek to hide the redness.
