Re: Kylie (Courage Wolf)

"Alright then, whatever. It's between you and her I guess, so doesn't involve me unless you two try and attack each other," Kagome replied with a shrug, though she did look worried about Maria as Amara went to her room to rest.

With that, Kylie headed out into the woods around the temple and began her long trek around the outskirts of town, keeping a very close eye out for anything that was out of the ordinary that might be too close to town. Here and there the outer sentries from town were seen by Kylie, but she didn't need to worry about them interacting with her much as she was above them in the tree and could easily remain stealthy and skirt past them. Though the second group she noticed had a neko who's ears perked up she could see barely in the moonlight when she got near, despite being in the trees.

After a short while of traveling through the trees, about 20 minutes or so, Kylie came to the edge of a small stream on the northwest side of town. She heard what sounded like a moan in the distance and approaching the area it came from, Kylie could see a lamia holding an pretty young elven woman up against a tree with her long snakelike tail coiled around the tree to help hold her in place while she knocked away at her with what was obviously her ovipositor dick like Selara did to Maria and Tina earlier that day.

"Oh please... d-don't give me eggs. I'll be so full I won't be able to move," the elf girl panted, though she was moving her hips just as eagerly as the lamia was and impaling herself happily.

"Don't you worry love, I'll take good care of you... I swear. If you didn't want me to do this though then you shouldn't have shaken that tight sweet elven ass at me in the bar earlier. We both know you want this," the lamia cooed at the elf girl as she leaned in and kissed the elf's neck, making her moan as she wrapped her arms around the lamia's neck.

"Oh Kara... y-you know just how to... m-make me feel so good," the elf moaned at the lamia, kissing her deeply to drown her moans out.

"Mmm, I love you too Silana, but... hmhm, you needn't worry about eggs tonight. I don't have any eggs right now," the lamia cooed back to the elf as she sped up and brought them both to their climax, the two hugging each other close as they finished up.

Unless Kylie went down to them or anything, they would finish up and Kara the lamia would scoop Silana the elf up and carry her back to town, their little tryst in the woods concluded for the night... or more likely they were taking the fun back to their home, wherever that was. In the distance, Kylie could see the town to her southeast, the lights and smoke from the lanterns and chimneys showing where it was. The night was still quite young though and she had plenty of energy to burn.

Moving along further west among the trees, Kylie saw a few things, one being a panther hunting its prey, which was an unsuspecting wild pig. Up in the trees as high as she was, Kylie was like a bird of prey stalking the entire jungle/forest floor. She watched as the panther got the wild pig and took it down before it left and brought three panther cubs over to eat with it, a mother feeding her young obviously... or possibly a father doing so it was hard to tell from so high up if it were a mother or a father.

Finally, after about another thirty minutes to an hour of patrolling the outskirts of the town, heading further west as she went until she was well outside the outskirts and beyond the border the sentries went to, Kylie came upon a larger river just as she heard something in the distance. It sounded like a roar, a loud one at that. Moving stealthily to investigate, Kylie couldn't see anything on the ground that could have caused the roar, but suddenly she heard a whooshing sound overhead that was obviously from wings, from a larger being. Looking up she saw in the night sky a dragon, a younger looking one, but still a dragon, its scales glimmering with a slightly reddish hue as the moon and star light shone down on it.

The beast roared again and then she heard a set of roars coming from not the dragon overhead, which was hovering about 10 meters up and to Kylie's left. Looking in the direction the dragon was facing, she saw a trio of shapes flying towards it, all just a tiny bit smaller than the dragon, which Kylie could now see better and could tell was a young dragon, but larger than the average young she'd always read about in the order's books.

[Kylie stealth: passed, she thinks at least.]

The shapes coming at the dragon were wyverns Kylie could see after a few more moments. "Hmhmhm... come little winged creatures... like moths to the flames. I'm sure she sent you to harass me, and will be disappointed when you don't return," Kylie heard the dragon say, waiting like a cat to strike its prey.

Re: Kylie (Courage Wolf)

She ignored Kagome, it would be wiser by far if she just avoided Maria for the time being until she was cooled off, and probably after Maria had come back to her senses and sought out some explanation from someone she trusted rather then someone she was terrified of.

It was off into the night, and if anything, she found the relative ease of travel relaxing, and her added strength actually aided her ability to stay hidden, letting her use a single arm or leg to maintain position when before it would have taken much more, it was interesting and very soothing as practice.

She passed by guards mostly unnoticed, only a Neko hearing her pass by, and likely discounting it as a small animal. The lovers she passed by had her knocking an arrow, suspecting a rape, but instead found that both were just enjoying a drunken night out, Kylie glad she had listened before getting involved, and leaving the pair in peace, just another shadow passing them by.

Her search got wider and wider, and indeed the jungle around the village seemed to be suitably quiet. Apart from a stray panther family which she also left well alone. The cubs were adorable as well. She ignored them, they ignored her.

As she got further out, now well passed the village boundary and well outside the normal patrols, motion in the sky got her attention and she saw.... a fucking Dragon. That was a Fucking. Dragon. Oooo, all of her collective Nope. She wasn't a dragon slayer, but she could hear it talking, and she hunkered down in her tree, watching as several small Wyvern chased it.

The Dragon likely had the situation well in hand, but Wyvern's were noted as having poison in their tails in some breeds, like a scorpion, and it would be one hell of a kill. Knocking an arrow, the Dragon only just stayed in her vision, Kylie keeping track of it as she tracked the Wyvern at the tail of the pack with her bow, the metal bending back with her arm easily as she sought to land an arrow in it's throat. Wyverns... This could be fun.

Re: Kylie (Courage Wolf)

Rolls:
Kylie 13 vs 8 Wyvern, hit for 1 FP dmg.
Wyvern 2 vs 3 Kylie, miss

Kylie 12 vs 17 Wyvern, miss
Wyvern 17 vs 18 Kylie, miss

As Kylie knocked an arrow onto her bow and pulled the string, preparing to fire at one of the wyverns, she saw the dragon rearing up as the wyverns approached as it prepared to attack apparently. "Mmm... wyvern meat is pretty good too, so at least I'll have a good meal as well as a chance to stretch my wings," the dragon mumbled to itself, still unaware of the hidden archer in the tree to his right, and it was a he if the voice was any indication.

When the wyverns came closer, the dragon roared and spat at them something that Kylie wouldn't have expected most likely, it wasn't fire breath, it was a smoky vaporous plume that flowed from his mouth. The lead wyvern was caught right in the blast and reeled as it shrieked, where Kylie saw the vapors coalesce and form into a smoky serpent that then bit one of the lead wyvern's legs. The second of the pack veered off to the side and just barely dodged the dragon's breathy attack and the dragon was on him quicker than he could react, the dragon's claws digging into the second wyvern's scales as the dragon's tail smashed into its side.

The trailing wyvern tried to swoop in and tackle the dragon, but that was when Kylie's arrow whizzed through the air with a soft twang of her bow sounded, her steel arrow slamming into the shoulder of the thing just near its neck. The arrow strike wasn't exactly where she wanted it, but it was a pretty good shot from that distance nonetheless, and it caused the wyvern to veer off to the side away from the dragon. The dragon's gaze darted over to the third wyvern where he noticed the arrow sticking from its body, where his eyes narrowed slightly.

"Hmm... interesting. Keep yourself in the shadows little archer, if you insist on helping me that is. I wouldn't want you to get caught in my breath attacks, for it's not good to breathe and can destroy your lungs," the dragon said to Kylie, though he didn't know she was human or a woman and only knew that she was an archer. "You likely won't get a free shot at him again though without him spotting your hiding place little archer. Keep at that one though, I can handle these other ones easily enough," the dragon added with a chuckle.

Kylie - FP: 6/6, AP: 0/10, still technically hidden from the wyvern's sight.

Re: Kylie (Courage Wolf)

Kylie cursed as her arrow hissed through the air to strike it's shoulder. Good shot, sure, but not perfect. She'd spent too much time fighting close up lately. Feeling around in her quiver for the fabric that marked her more dangerous arrows, Kylie pulled a pair of poisoned steels free, one held in her mouth as she knocked the other, chuckling as the dragon spoke.

She didn't even let the odd breath attack faze her, it was a dragon, dragons were cheaters.

But when it spoke, she chuckled, her first arrow whistling free from her bow, the second in her mouth immediately following it as she led the wyvern. After that though, she was showing her true skills by dropping from the tree she was in swiftly, using her natural agility to tumble through the branches, hooking the last and flipping to her feat, before sprinting for another.

She didn't have to go far, just far enough, and then she let her potions do a good bit of work for her, leaping bodily into the next tree from the ground and retracking her target, another arrow screaming into the air when she found it.

Kylie 7 vs 14 Wyvern, miss
Wyvern 5 vs 13 Kylie, miss,

Kylie 6 vs 4 Wyvern, hit for another 1 FP dmg
Wyvern 1 vs 2 Kylie, miss

(Heh, I'm imagining Bard from the Hobbit shooting at Smaug from the tower in the third movie.)

Swiftly dropping and moving down to another tree branch and then swinging to another tree, Kylie nearly gave her position away as the branch she swung from creaked slightly and threatened to snap under her weight, but it didn't thankfully. Swinging up into a firing position, Kylie fired and missed with that arrow, while the wyvern swooped down and skirted the tree she had been in with its clawed feet, knocking a couple of branches off but missing Kylie completely, apparently not entirely sure where she was at exactly.

Her next arrow found its mark, though again not in any vital place as it sank into the wyvern's leg, where the creature roared in pain and came around for another pass in the tree right next to Kylie, taking out several branches again in its pass.

"Hmm, pretty good at hiding aren't you little archer, quite a useful skill indeed," the dragon said before roaring at wyvern that had been at the front of the group and sank his claws into it this time and biting the back of its neck and tearing at it a bit before the wyvern managed to get free, which was only thanks to the second wyvern veering towards them and knocking the dragon off.

Kylie - FP: 6/6, AP: 0/10, still technically hidden from the wyvern's sight for now.

Re: Kylie (Courage Wolf)

Kylie just catfaced as the Wyvern came down on an empty tree... Twice. She could think of leather accessories that had more sense. The dragon would have already found her. It also seemed like the poison was either acting slowly, or there simply wasn't enough of it. Which was a shame. Idly she wondered about carrying a Ballista into battle from here on out... just in case. But that would be ridiculous.

HOWEVER! She was not done shooting, and again another arrow ripped out of her new hiding spot before she was dropping again to find another tree, this time taking the time to move several trees over, drawing the wyvern in a circle, making it seem there was more then one of her as she continued to fire from one tree, and move to the next.

Re: Kylie (Courage Wolf)

Rolls:
Kylie 9 vs 2 Wyvern, hit for 1 FP dmg and the poison is starting to take effect, giving it -1 to hit and defend
Wyvern 14 vs 19 Kylie, miss again

Kylie 14 vs 8 Wyvern, hit again for 1 more FP dmg and filling more venom into the thing, increasing the debuff to -2 to hit and defend now as the beast started slowing down
Wyvern 1 vs 3 Kylie, missed again and I'm beginning to think this wyvern is blind

Kylie's tactic seemed to be working of moving from tree to tree in a circular pattern, as the wyvern didn't know which tree of the circle an arrow would come from next. Her next arrow pierced right into the wyvern's side as it shrieked in pain from the arrow. The wyvern still had no idea where she'd shot from and swooped down to hit the tree she'd been in a few moments before.

"Hmhm, these little wyverns are such simple and stupid creatures. They can't even find a little archer like you in the trees," the dragon said as he chuckled, swooping around and catching the wyvern that'd been at the head of the group and tearing its throat out before releasing it to fall to the ground dead as a doornail.

Kylie's next arrow pierced the side of the wyvern's long neck, digging right under one of the scales there and causing the wyvern to shriek again. Kylie could now see that the poison was starting to take effect on the beast somewhat at least as it was slowing down in its movements, the reason it had only now taken effect likely being the beasts larger size. Again the wyvern swooped on a tree that Kylie wasn't in any longer, though this time at least it was a bit closer to the one she had been in.

Kylie - FP: 6/6, AP: 0/10, still yet to be hit

Wyvern - FP: 6/10, taking -2 to attack and defend thanks to Kylie's poison tipped arrows

Re: Kylie (Courage Wolf)

It was sluggish, just a little bit. Her poison was working. It was a tad bit amusing that one snakes venom could kill another. Or perhaps not kill, but affect. Poor bastard.

Again she took her shots and again the wyvern swooped, missing her entirely as it tried to guess where she was, the true advantage of taking on another creature 8 times her size. To it, she was an ant, hard to see, harder to hit, and to her, it was the worlds ugliest, biggest moving target.

What made things worse for the poor flying shit, was that when it dove, it had a habit of flying almost straight towards her, neither veering or sweeping to try and avoid the shot she knew to send at it the moment it turned it's head to dive. She was learning, far faster then it was.

Two more arrows sang from her bow in quick succession, she knew she'd give away this hiding spot but true to her chosen tactic, she was already dropping from the tree to pick another, the benefit of the jungle meaning there was always somewhere else to hide. It was amusing a Dragon would come here, this was it's worst possible battleground against a smaller foe. She wondered how badly the dragon's day would have went if she had fired at it, instead. But that all came down to it being intelligent, and pursued, her sense of right and wrong skewing the fight in the Dragon's favor, as well as her own doubts that she could safely bring it down.

But the Wyvern, she was confident at this point she could kill it, then she'd drag it back to the village, or maybe to Maria, try and get her out from under that waterfall. Talk to her. Why did she need to sate that part of herself that needed to fight. It caused so much damage to the people around her... She was like an open flame, people, things, everything would burn if care wasn't shown around her, and it just wasn't fair to them. But it came in handy... such as right now, when even with her stray thoughts, the brunt of her mind and muscle were focused on killing an enemy, she doubted anyone else would try and face alone.

Kylie 15 vs 20 Wyvern, miss
Wyvern 8 vs 9 Kylie, miss

Kylie 4 vs 5 Wyvern, miss
Wyvern 1 vs 5 Kylie, miss

Kylie 6 vs 6 Wyvern, hit for 1 FP dmg... barely
Wyvern 1 vs 5 Kylie, miss and the poison working a bit more and raising the debuff to -3 attack and defense

Moving around some more to get a better angle on the wyvern for her next shot, Kylie found her arrow went wide and nearly hit the other wyvern in the process, but it dodged as it barrel rolled out of the way. Her wyvern foe swooped down at her again however and nearly got her, getting to large claws raking through the tree just above her head about a yard or so. The dragon meanwhile went at the remaining of his two foes and clawed at the thing before it managed to swing its tail around and hit the dragon's side, making the dragon roar angrily as he went past.

Kylie's next shot went wide as well and the wyvern's attempted claw attack on her missed as well, but the next shot however did hit its mark, digging in at the base of the wyvern's tail as it went by and slammed its tail into the tree after Kylie fired her arrow and hopped to the next tree. The wyvern looked like the poison was starting to get to it a bit more now as its movements were more slowed, but it was still in the fight and was now hovering over the trees about 30 feet above Kylie, watching the trees near where she was at. It looked like it was studying her and starting to learn a bit.

Kylie - FP: 6/6, AP: 0/10

Wyvern - FP: 5/10, taking -3 to attack and defense now.

Re: Kylie (Courage Wolf)

Kylie had to fight not to eep as the Wyvern damn near took her head off, blinking from the decimated tree as it swooped by, before shooting at it again, and after missing it twice, nailing it right in the ass! hell yea! >.< Take that you flying handbag!

And then she was hiding again, wondering when it would stop floating just above her head, and the answer was never. Which meant a change in tactics. Dropping to the ground, Kylie picked up the BIGGEST treebranch she could pick up and swing, and then set it aside next to her from the ground before shooting up at the wyvern, dropping her bow, and picking up the makeshift club, which was bigger then she was thanks to her ridiculous addiction to magical drugs.

She was gonna Thump it. She was gonna thump it hard.

Rolls:
Kylie 16 vs 1 Wyvern, crit hit for 2 FP dmg.
Wyvern 6 vs 18 Kylie, miss

Kylie 9 vs 7 Wyvern, hit for 1 FP dmg.
Wyvern 17 vs 10 Kylie, hit for 1 FP dmg and poisoned somewhat to take -1 attack and defense

When Kylie worked her way down to the ground, the wyvern saw her quite easily as she didn't make much effort to hide herself. With a mighty flap of its wings, the wyvern soared down at Kylie, though it was a shaky flight she saw. It landed about 6 feet in front of her where Kylie swung the tree branch she'd grabbed on her way down. The branch caught the beast right in the face, where one of the twigs attached to it slammed right into its eye as it shrieked again. The wyvern then swung around and tried to hit Kylie with its tail, but she was able to duck underneath it as it came around.

"HA! FOOLISH LITTLE CREATURES! BOW BEFORE THE MIGHT OF KRUZIIK-KAAL!" the dragon roared as Kylie saw the other wyvern fall to the ground nearby with a loud crash as a few trees were knocked down.

Out of the corner of her eye, Kylie could see the dragon land on top of an overturned tree as he watched her continue her fight. The wyvern glanced over before at the dragon before back to Kylie, where she thumped it again as it was distracted, leaving the wyvern quite wounded now. It retaliated successfully though for the first time since their fight started, its tail stinging her in the side as it shrieked at her.

"Hmm... come now little archer, don't disappoint me. You got yourself into this mess by helping me... which I still don't know why honestly. Show me what you've got, I'm curious as to why a mere human like yourself wished to get involved... and I'm also curious as to how you're so physically strong," the dragon told Kylie, watching her fight curiously.

Kylie - FP: 5/6, AP: 0/10, taking -1 attack and defense from wyvern tail poison

Wyvern - FP: 2/10, taking -3 to attack and defense now.

Re: Kylie (Courage Wolf)

Kylie laughed as she smacked the Wyvern right in it's prick face. It was a prick, she'd decided that at some point. Stupid... lizard... flying thing.

Ducking away from a retaliatory blow as the Wyvern obviously didn't appreciate getting bitch slapped by something much smaller then itself, Kylie immediately bitch slapped it again for looking away from her. Hey! Future Lizard Hide Backpack. I'm killing you, not him. she shouted at it, finally managing to get hit herself, the stinger making her hiss in annoyance before the Dragon spoke up.

I just weighed the option of what would look better mounted on my wall! Kylie yelled at the dragon, smirking as she backed out of the tail's reach before pivoting hard and hurling the branch at the wyvern to give her a chance to snatch up her bow, arrows flying through the air again, and at a considerably easier to hit target now, the Wyvern almost stationary on the ground, and large as a small barn

Re: Kylie (Courage Wolf)

Kylie 19 vs 17 Wyvern, hit for 1 FP dmg
Wyvern 15 vs 13 Kylie, hit for 1 FP dmg

Kylie 4 vs 10 Wyvern, miss
Wyvern 1 vs 19 Kylie, crit miss and countered for 2 FP dmg, and Wyvern is dead.

Kylie gains 1 dead Wyvern to skin and whatnot as she wishes. :p

"Ooooh I see. Well then... do mount his head on your wall please. I would be happy to carry him to your home for you so you may skin him. Wyverns make good purses too I hear. And females of your species do like their purses from what all I've seen of them. Your human noble females I mean," the dragon said in an amused voice as he watched Kylie continue her fight.

Kylie's maneuver worked for the most part as she grabbed up her bow and strung an arrow onto it, aiming at the wyvern, though the wyvern didn't seem fazed much by the branch and knocked it aside with a sweep of one of its wings. Kylie shot her arrow, which the wyvern tried to block with its wing to throw Kylie's aim off, but it struck the wyvern right in its chest area. The wyvern got retaliation on Kylie however, sweeping its tail around and slamming it right into her side, where it stung her again and increased the amount of its poison in her body that served to weaken her a bit more.

Kylie maneuvered around and fired another arrow, but the wyvern seemed to have gotten a small burst of adrenaline and batted it down easily with its tail. The dragon continued to watch while Kylie fought, not seeming overly concerned from the looks of it as the fight carried on. "Oh dear, another wasted shot. And those metal arrows look expensive," the dragon chuckled at Kylie's missed shot, though he was hunkering down a little bit, as if preparing to rush in and kill the wyvern if things went south for Kylie in a hurry.

The wyvern came at her, rearing up as it swept her feet out from under her, where it then attempted to simply crush her underneath it. However, as it came down upon her, Kylie yanked another of her steel arrows out of her quiver and held it pointing straight up into the wyvern, where it penetrated its heart before the thing could bring its full weight down upon her. It shrieked its last as it stopped itself for a few moments, and then began to collapse on top of her, threatening to crush her underneath it.

"Oh no you don't!" the dragon roared and grabbed the wyvern in its maw, preventing it from crushing Kylie under its much heavier form.

With the wyvern laying to the side, Kylie was laying there with her bow laying beside her on the ground as was her quiver, while the dragon stood over her staring down at her. It was larger than the wyverns were, not by much really, but enough that it was noticeable. "Are you okay little human?" the dragon asked Kylie suddenly as it stood over her.

Re: Kylie (Courage Wolf)

I'm lucky enough... to not be concerned about money she called back, though she had to admit shouting at a dragon while shooting at another what was essentially really just a dragon with a big fucking stinger was a little distracting. That also reminded her she needed to buy more arrows though...

And Then It tried to squish her. It actually tried to squish her. She really needed to remember that big things could just squish her. Still, the final blow was hers, her arrow slipping straight into it's heart as it came down.

Laying there panting and glancing over at the actual Dragon, the fuck had it called itself? Kruziik? She grinned. Well, you come out hunting and see a Dragon, outnumbered by Wyverns. It's not a hard choice. You just even the scales a bit. Be that little balancing force but hey! I killed a Wyvern! I'll call it a win, I'm not as big as Kruziik-Kaal. But Kruziik. I do believe I've been poisoned. she said, trying not to move.

Mind giving a girl a ride back to her home? she asked, standing slowly.

Re: Kylie (Courage Wolf)

"Hmhm, even the scales... I like that. What is your name human? And yes you have indeed been poisoned by that wyvern's tail stinger. While not deadly in as small a dose as I believe you got, it's still going to cause trouble for you, and you did help me, a dragon, after all. First to my lair for some antidote for it, and then to your home, with your kill of course," the dragon told her with a chuckle as he listened to her speak and then try to get up, though she was starting to get dizzy from the wyvern's venom and fell back down, or would have had Kruziik-Kaal not caught her with his long tail. "You little human, you helped me, therefore you may call me just Kaal like my friends do. No need to say my whole name, just takes too long. Now come, up you get, climb onto my back and hold on as best you can. I intend on carrying your wyvern too, and while you rest I will bring my two kills for a late dinner," Kaal then said to Kylie, using his tail and bracing her so she could climb up onto his back, though even then it was tough to manage and he had to push her up with the tip of his tail.

With that, he walked over to Kylie's kill, grabbed it with his front two feet, the claws digging in, where he then flapped his wings. He took flight, flying Kylie a ways off, further south and a bit more away from town. The wind hitting her face was helping to take the dizziness away from the venom, but it was still taking its toll on her and she began to feel nauseous.

"Hold on, you're going to get wet unfortunately, but it ought to help your nausea a bit at least," Kaal said as he aimed them directly at the bottom of a large waterfall, flying in fast and at the last moment tucking his wings in and going through with a large splash of water that drenched both Kylie, him, and the fairly large cavern behind the waterfall.

"Welcome to my home... well, one of them anyway," Kaal said, walking Kylie inside a ways as he left the wyvern corpse around the entrance.

Kylie was taken down a large tunnel for what felt like several minutes, though in reality it was only one minute. The tunnel had a few smaller tunnels on either side here and there, and soon it opened up into a larger chamber that had a few smaller chambers connected to it on the sides. Up on a large dais of sorts was obviously Kaal's nest/bed, as there was much platinum, gold, silver, and copper coinage there, though not nearly as much as Kylie had, likely not even a quarter of what she had. He carried Kylie up to the bed area, which had an actual regular queen sized bed tucked behind a mound of coins, which he used his tail and helped her slide down onto.

"Lay there a few moments, I shall return soon," Kaal told Kylie, gently pushing her down onto the bed with his front right foot if she tried to keep from laying down.

He moved over to one of the smaller chambers, where Kylie saw he was obviously much too big for the doorway. He then did something that would likely amaze her and with a flash of light he shapeshifted himself down in size to the form of a human, with red hair the same color as his scales. He went into the room and about a minute later came back out wearing a set of reddish colored robes, still in human form. He walked up to the bed Kylie was on and stood beside it as he helped her to sit up before opening a small bottle he'd brought back out.

"Here, drink this. It should help counteract the wyvern venom," Kaal told Kylie, his voice not changing much from his dragon form, merely less loud because of his size.

As soon as she'd drank the potion, Kylie didn't need to wait too long before it began to take effect, eliminating her nausea quickly, though the dizziness was still there somewhat. "It'll take half an hour to filter all of the venom out. In the meantime I am going to collect the other two wyverns and bring them here for eating. I have a big stomach when in dragon form, and wyverns have lots of good meat on them," Kaal said, leaving a few moments later and bringing back a glass and a pitcher of water that he set on a small bedside table that he pulled out of a pile of gold. "If you need to speak before I leave to get the wyverns, you should do so now, for I'll be gone for about as long as it'll take for the venom to filter out of you. Feel free to look around if you feel up to it before I finish. But take nothing, for I shall know," Kaal added, waiting to see if Kylie had anything she wished to say before turning and heading off to collect the other two wyvern corpses as he shed his robes before going, revealing his naked and quite muscled body, which was around that of a teenager that had just hit adulthood, or was just shy of it if not already there.

Re: Kylie (Courage Wolf)

Kylie about collapsed standing up. The venom was certainly an interesting flavor for such a large creature. Still, it had resisted outright the viper venom she had been using. Nor did she bother speaking overly much, simply nodding in the dragon's request to call him Kaal.

The trip was a bit of a haze, but she remembered what she needed to to find it again. South.. a little southwest, waterfall, river.... She could get here again. Saved from vomiting across her rides back by the waterfall, Kylie grit her teeth in the sudden cold before she was welcomed into the dragon's home. He would remain, The Dragon, until she saw him transform. So that wasn't a myth. Very interesting, but she was a bit beyond losing her shit at the moment until he returned. Drinking the offered solution to her problem, she propped herself up on the bed.

You're just a bit cuter like that, though the scales are a lovely color too. Kaal, thanks. she said, shaking her head as he mentioned not touching his small horde. As I said Kaal, I don't worry about money, I've got a horde much like yourself, you needn't worry. Though I've probably spoiled the meat on my own kill. Snake Venom on the arrows. It'll be a trick seeing if I can cook it out later. she said, laughing softly before flopping back onto the bed to wait out the venom, and the return of Kaal.

When he did get back, Kylie was feeling better, and sitting upright on the bed, cleaning off her bow with her shirt, and checking the rather depleted supply of arrows she had left. Still, she hadn't broken anything else she kept in her quiver, that was good.

So, a Dragon out here, the last thing I expected to see... Though I suppose now that I think about it, I've only been here on this island a couple of months. Why were you being chased by Wyverns? she asked, having gotten rather comfy.

"Hmhm, thank you. And I didn't plan on eating your wyvern anyway thankfully. Though you could still skin it and mount its head on the wall somewhere and keep the wyvern scales. They can make some decent armor when infused with certain magics," Kaal said to Kylie with a smile when she complimented him on his scales. "Rest for now though, I shall return soon. And... my wealth is in more than just gold. The gold is just a means of getting the rest in many cases," he added before heading out.

...

When he returned to the chamber, the whoosh of water from the waterfall giving his return away to Kylie, she saw him walk back in and put his robes back on before coming over to her once more. He put a hand to her forehead and looked deep into her eyes before nodding with a satisfied look. "Mmm, good good... the venom has mostly worked its out now. Should be only another ten minutes at most before it's completely gone," Kaal said after he'd checked her out.

When she spoke, Kaal nodded and chuckled a bit. "Heh, yes there are a few other dragons on the island that I know of, so even years on the island might not allow one to see us all, because our lairs are mostly well hidden. There is Onik-Kest to the far northeast near the town you call Tear Cove, in a large manor built in the forests out that way. She is a full, albeit young, adult gold dragon, a beautiful one at that, who is allied with Crimea who rules this island and keeps watch on Tear Cove for them, and we all call her Kes for short. Then there is Zin-Drog-Aaz, or Zin for short. He is a silver dragon, the oldest on the island, an elder dragon. He dwells on the top of the mountain and protects the goliath and good minotaur tribes, as well as anyone else he can, from the cruel evil minotaurs of the northern sides and any other evils that plague the island. Though he can't be everywhere at once unfortunately," Kaal said with a chuckle, speaking of a couple of good dragons that lived on the island before sighing a bit. "While the two of them are good, there are a couple of eviler ones. The one who sent the wyverns my way, Feykro-Vith, she is an evil adult green dragon, a cruel bitch whom lives to the west of here near the western coast. She doesn't try anything to the village over that way too much because the lamias that live there are so numerous and some are excellent trackers and she doesn't want them to know where her lair is. The other is Fel-Bruniik, a vile evil young black dragon the resides in the swampy mires on the far east of the island. He is a young on the verge of adulthood like myself," Kaal went on to say.

"I am an orium dragon myself, not a red dragon like I'm sure you thought. We Orium dragons are often mistaken for reds at a distance," Kaal said after a few moments. "And I was being chased because... well, because Vith doesn't like me, or the fact that I have a lair anywhere near her own. Dragons don't need much a reason to hate or dislike someone or something really," he added with a shrug of his shoulders.

Re: Kylie (Courage Wolf)

Kylie just listened, making mental notes for later while Kaal told her of the other dragons here, getting more and more confused. She hadn't heard of a Dragon being ALIVE on her own continent for...ever. Most of the tales she'd heard of the folk said they'd been hunted to extinction. But that was the way with most wondrous things in Garellia. Humans were welcome there. That was about it. Other peoples didn't even try. There wasn't much to be done when your home was so xenophobic.

That said, she couldn't blame them..... Kaal would have been terrifying without the context of the wyverns and her own need to work off the bloodlust... Still, she'd killed a Wyvern, all Kaal had done was stop it from flattening her...

Congratulations Kaal, you have just mentioned more dragons being alive in one spot then anywhere else I know of... That's a little crazy. The most we have back on my home continent is literal stories and legends. As for your color... I didn't really assume... I don't know fuck all about dragons apart from some of the tools we can make with their bones in our order, and those are only in the absolute dustiest, oldest, most forbidden tomes we have. she explained, still a little shocked by the whole affair.

And it doesn't take much? Aren't you one of the longest lived creatures in existence? I think that'd make it a little harder to hold a grudge... she mused.

That would probably also explain why no one and nowhere ever bothers this place. I have a feeling 4 plus living dragons would be a fairly effective deterrent... But why in a cave? You can turn into something vaguely human-esgue, you could be running a business to more easily bring things in or seclude yourself a little better. Live right under people's.... noses... Sonnuvabitch. That's where all the dragons who lived in garellia went, They're fucking hiding in plain sight! Wouldn't blame them.... But, lets not dawdle, I have no intention of imposing on a gigantic smoke breathing reptile any longer then he thinks is necessary. You can do you, I can do me, and just agree not to shoot at slash eat eachother. she said, rambling before chuckling a bit.

Re: Kylie (Courage Wolf)

Kaal nodded and listened to Kylie talk again, chuckling when she asked about him being one of the longest living beings in the world. "Aye dragons are long lives. And... well I meant that only some dragons needn't much reason to dislike or hate someone or something. Many aren't like that. And the dragons here usually stay out of the day to day business of the peoples that live here. The evil ones usually steer clear of the common folk living around while the good ones watch over them from a distance mostly. And this is just my lair, where I keep my horde. And yes, that is likely where the dragons of your homeland went, unless they are all dead," Kaal said when Kylie was done, chuckling a bit and reaching out to place his hand on her head and ruffle her hair a bit. "Ahh, I love humans, elves, and the like. So amusing sometimes. Anyway, are you feeling well enough to travel now? If so, I can take you to your home, assuming it's close by in Feynrial that is. And just so you know, I do go into the town from time to time when I need certain things. I do not mind you remaining for now though if you need more rest. And as I said before, you may look around if you wish," Kaal added with a wink as he finished speaking.

Re: Kylie (Courage Wolf)

The winking, the WINKING! Why are you winking! now I have to look around! Aggghh! Kylie said, rolling off the bed to look around, though exactly what she was looking for was beyond her. She assumed she'd know what it was when she saw it, ignoring the pile of wealth as inconsequential, cos... well. hers was bigger. And it had a floating squid. Couldn't beat the squid.

Hell! IT HAD SQUIDLETS!

Picking over things, she eventually remembered there were rooms to the side, which made her curious as to what would be in them, poking around like a pest, and nimbly ducking or dodging attempts to stop her by being excessively overly agile.
