Weird i just tested your version of the game and it works fine.

Oh, I see. I was testing in a cutscene. It doesn't work there, Q only works in the normal message box.

Thank you for your kind words. I'm having a lot of fun doing this project.

I'm about 2/3 done with the next update. It will include the first 4 maps of the pirates storyline. The update after that will be 1 map with a lot of text (Cave C, the map with the "boxing ring" on it.)

After that comes the dungeon crawl under the pirates lair. I haven't looked that closely to see how much work that's going to be.

Update 5a

I just uploaded Update 5a. You need to have Update 5 installed before installing this one.

This update covers the first 4 maps of the Pirates' cave. The entrance, Homer's room, Cart's room and Rain's room. This brings the translation up to the point where Johnny leaves. There aren't any sex scenes in this, it's all just dialog.

Next is the Cave area with the "boxing ring" in the middle. There's 13 major scenes and bunch of smaller stuff, so it'll be a while. After that, it's on to the dungeon.

I have a problem with the game. At one point, I jump out the error graphics/ Characters/Pl-sleep002. Can anyone help me?

Did you not have your computer set to Japanese when you unzipped the game? The file name is "pl-sleep002ヌード.png". Check the graphics file and see if that name got corrupted.

Maybe the file itself got corrupt? Here's the one from my installation, zipped up.

seems not to be the same. Maybe I did something wrong. I copied your files in the characters (not asked me to overwrite) but the problem persists. Thanks for your support

Can you open the file in a picture viewer?

And just to be clear you're looking for this file in the folder:
(Folder that contains Game.exe)\Graphics\Characters\

Was this downloaded from my Mega folder? (SirensHarp UI full game.7z)

When I look at properties I see the size is 1,823 bytes, are you seeing the same?

Update 5b

Finally! This update is only one map but there was a huge amount of text. 13 major scenes, including the longest scene in the game so far. The game is now translated up to the point where they're about to explore the dungeon under the pirate's cave. The next update should be a lot faster, there's only 4 major scenes left in whole pirate's cave area.

Update 6!

Update 6 is ready! That's the whole of the Pirate's Cave. The game is now translated up to the point where Rain leaves the cave to go rescue Cart from the frogmen. Next is the "Mountain Path" area. This should be a much faster update, since there isn't as much content in the area. After this area, I think we're in the free period. Most of the free period scenes are already translated, so after that, I think we'll be heading for the tower.

I'll update the walkthrough tomorrow or Wednesday. As always, critique is welcome. Enjoy!

Could somebody help me out?
When I start the game there is no text (just blank menu) and during the game the same thing happens.
(I downloaded the game from HappyGoomba's link).
I've tried changing locale and starting without the translation.

This has been discussed too many times already...

Change Library=RGSS102E.dll to Library=RGSS103J.dll inside game.ini

nacturnalshit, do you have the 103J dll on your machine? It should be in c:\windows\system32 or syswow64. If you don't, you can change the ini to point to 102J or 104J, whichever one you have.
