EDIT: Here's a pro tip. I think what was meant to be done with the pudding things was to make certain refills that are exclusive to the event. That failed. You can still get in the inventory and use a normal stamina refill to get back in the fight.

That would be useful for me (got at least 50 stocked), if my damage wasn't so damn horrible. A trading option would be a blessing in this kind of a situation.
Alright, I sent a message to my team to kindly leave if they have low EP and aren't helping. Not that it will probably do much, but if they all log on and no one steps down, I'm out.

They did make the puddings event specific because you get them for winning against the other battalion each day. I'm not sure if the "daily limited" part is because they're awarded daily or if they only last a day. Still, it's something to use up in the event to help avoid liquefying your normal stash too much.

Though the trading might be cool, just think about how uneven it would make things. If I only have say 10 full refills, that's 330mil damage plus say 4 others who hit for about 60mil each which totals 570mil. If everyone gave me their 10, the total would then be 1,650mil damage; roughly triple what it was. If the group had 5 who only hit for 60mil, the max they could do is 300mil. 330 vs 300 or 1650 vs 300, which one seems slightly fairer for the weaker players? :D

Maybe it's just poor luck, but I think they were a little ambitious with the reward requirements.

1000 tickets to get all 3 cards and 300 mega bosses is a tall order for a weak and inactiveish platoon/battalion.

Edit: Interesting, it looks like the puddings reset each day. Not sure if the amount is based on battalion victory or defeat, but none of them carry over from the day before.

So make sure to use them all each day.

Edit2: Looks like victory affects the amount. 5/10 for a win 3/5 for a loss.

:(Sigh.... this event is just a big pain, and a way to dump everyone's stockpile of puddings. It kind of requires you to have 5 friends who are highly active, have a high card score, and willing to dump hundreds of puddings on a whim. We're what? about halfway through, and I've amassed a grand total of about 300 tickets which is half of the SR card reward. Not to mention about 20 lightning bosses of the 300 for the other card. Anyone done any better for either?

I should still have one free spot open if someone wants to lose their progress so far and join in, but they'll probably have to hit at least 1mil EP a day to have some hope of a shot for ranking 200. Send me a PM before 9:30 PM Tokyo Time and if you're not on my friends list, your game id (not platoon) and I'll send you the platoon code if it's still open. WARNING: leaving a group resets your platoon EP to 0 (but not your individual EP, boss kills or tickets), and if the platoon you join has fought, you'll have to wait until the next matchup before you can do anything.

As a side note, has anyone figured out how the SP thing works? So far it's gone up once or twice, but I have no idea why, and supposedly it's supposed to be linked to getting lightning bosses or something. Can you use them individually or is it when it maxes out, or what? And how do you get them? I've managed to go through full bars of stam without finding a boss, so maybe I'm just doing something wrong.

Edit: Make that 2 free spots and 2mil less EP :/ I see what's going on here, and the large gap is due to matching. Only about the top 200 or so parties are close or beyond the 300 sp bosses. With the large health pools only the top players can down them quickly enough to respawn and kill. With a low EP party, you get stuck matched up with a few unfinished groups with low power and non or low active players which makes it harder to down anything. The higher you are, the more finished the groups are, and you have a full team of 15 active, good hitting players who can easily pitch in minor amounts to down bosses quickly and respawn more. Probably looked a lot better on paper.

What they need is a rating system based on relative EP groups that changes the amount of health the bosses have per level. I.E. 100mill health is fine for those above 20 mill EP (top 20% of platoons), but make it 10 mil for parties below 5mil EP (bottom 20 % of platoons) or something, and step it like the PvP event. The other option would be the same rating system and take a team from each to form a Battalion, but that probably wouldn't be as balanced if you get stuck with a bad group, and the top tiers would always be carrying everyone all the time.

I wonder what's gonna happen after the 25th, it looks like there are two other stages on the info page. (Edit: Nevermind, just got hopeful)

As for SP. Not sure what gives it naturally, but once you have ten mega bosses can be spawned. Assuming no other boss is active. Each spin costs one point and any boss spawns are mega.

Odds aren't looking good for getting any rewards. I'm at 20 regular kills and 3 mega kills, and only 166 tickets. Our platoon just broke one million EP but there are three of us.

My thoughts exactly. If they fixed it with my tweaks I think it would've gone over a little better, but it's strictly a consumable drain. Not that the others aren't entirely free of that either, it's just not as blatant. I laugh when I think about how this event would go as the first one done for the Nutaku version when everyone's under 1mill cardscore.

Time to relax and I guess I'll just be further down the line with a few less SR cards that I'll never see again. :/ Heck, the top 50 platoons get a reprint card that I think was the first limited card for getting a friend to join.

Let's not look THAT far into the future. As far as I remember, even LoW doesn't have events yet. Who in Nutaku would be fully thinking about releasing PPS, instead of adding more features of the original into the English version (I don't keep track of the news over at Nutaku, though, so yeah)?


The event had a decent concept (I enjoy large-scale fights with some [in this case having to time the logging in correctly] strategy in them), but it was done badly. It's not friendly to newbies (I do <300k damage, I know what I'm saying); it doesn't feel like an actual event, but more like an attempt to grab the consumables you hoard; the card designs don't seem that interesting (that's just my opinion, though); the community isn't that good at the "strategy" (as far as I know, even you [Chaika-chan]'re having some issues with your platoon).

From what I've heard at this point, it sounds like it's up to the Japanese devs how they want to roll out the events. For PPS we'll probably get thrown in at the current state of the game somehow instead of starting with the events from 2 yrs ago.

I agree decent concept. Like I said, if the boss hp scaled with the platoon levels to be a little more.... achievable it probably wouldn't be so bad. Hell, I'm in the top 100 cardscore with a full multiplier and hit for about 33mil. Most of these bosses require 3+ full stam point hits to down for me, and lets not even start talking about the SP bosses who only have 30 min timers. That's exactly why I agree with you that it feels like they're trying to drain the consumable stashes everyone's built up.

Even though that's valid, and it may just be my teams, but even they (Japanese) don't really communicate much on the channels. We're about rank 650 and all it is is a cheers for good work if we win a daily battalion battle. I still don't think I fully understand how the event works, and I've read/translated most of the guidelines given.

Edit: Randomly got a blue ticket today for the "collaboration campaign". I guess you still have a chance to get some Blue Gale girls if you get these.

I... kinda was, but not really at the same time. More like surprised it was as quick as it was. Usually they EVENTUALLY release the cards again in some way months or years later. (Like the first limited card ever for the top 20 platoons this event) but it was a whole slew of them, so it kind of unbalanced things a bit I guess. :shrugs:

I swear it's either super easy or super hard, never in between. Good luck, you have until Feb 4 to find it.

Also of note for you lowbies (really everyone) make sure to use the daily event based drinks to lvl your lvl. I'm going to use it in the campaign tab for a 1 to 1 ratio of xp, but remember each lvl you gain up to 100 gives you a new friend slot and 3 hp (+3 more for each additional friend that joins). It certainly helps for the ladder event, and eventually you can reach a point where you never run out.

Event-wise, I just realized you need to claim your achievement prizes on the prizes tab. They WILL NOT be mailed to you.

By the way, where the hell do I use the exchange tickets? I looked everywhere I could, and I still didn't find a way to use them.

The second tab on the blue button menu of the event page. The first tab lets you collect rewards from the boss kills.

Edit: Lemme know if that doesn't help and I'll take some screenshots.

Ouch, that's garbage. Not as shitty as that, but I only got 540 exchange tickets.

Hopefully they bury this event forever.

If they pull this event out again without a serious overhaul (hell, I should win a serious reward for my massive personal EP, practically matching one of the people in the #1 ranked group), I'm tossing the scarce remnants of my stash and nopeing the fuck out of the game.

I was hoping they would've tweaked the event somehow like they did with the maze event.

That stinks. :/

Yeah, I'm not sure if I translated it right, but a bunch of people seem to be saying they ran through their consumables because they are retiring. Maybe it's a mistranslation and their stash is 'expired', but it wouldn't surprise me in the least.
