If it's the first problem, I can't help you since I can download it without problem. If it's the second problem, I'll try to see if I can reupload it (maybe something occured during the first upload). Then again I tried downloading it entirely and I had no problem with it.

It maybe comes from your country (you know file hosters and countries -_-). You were having problem with the previous versions, or is it the first time you're downloading it ?

What I meant was, clicking the link does nothing for me. At all. I'll try a few things and see if I can get it to play nice. And it's the first time I've tried to download the game.

EDIT: Nope, still nothing. Hmmm, this is weeeeird. It's like the link doesn't even want to load for me. :/

So then what I was handed was, as a matter of fact, a collection of images like what we'd experience with this game, but not actually any of the images in this game?

It's not stealing if Ark actually paid for the artwork in the first place. At worst, it can be regarded as illegal distribution (e.g. when you upload music from ripped fom a CD you bought), and at best it's simply abuse of fair usage (e.g. you are allowed to make only so many photocopies of pages from a licensed book, any more than that and you are breaking fair usage).

Yeah it still is, because that's what illegal distribution is. I don't know anyone who thinks that a commission gives you full distribution rights. It's still the artist's work. I realize that the whole thing is ok'ed now, so I'm not knocking on this game at all, but it seems like this would have been avoiding by the very common sense addition of telling the artist beforehand that the images were sought to be used in a game. Unless I'm missing any more information here, it seems like lack of forethought occurred here.

toxicshock... please just stop talking about it now.. no one gives a shit, just be happy the game is out:) no one cares about it, and only 2 people have ever really did, so please, just enjoy the game, and next time please just talk about gameplay, not ethics, because you wont win that discussion:)

Yeah, all he would have had to do was not be inconsiderate and ask Buta beforehand. He never bothered to mention that though, it was all excuses about how he thought it was fine and was trying to help Buta by stealing his artwork and publishing it in a game.

Really, if you saw the posts in the original thread, most of it was entitled garbage about how they all just want their free porn and some people didn't even see how it was stealing and how it could hurt Buta (Like in this thread. Though some did, thankfully). Some people were actually saying Buta was acting like a jerk for asking the creator to stop work on the game/stealing his artwork, lol.

It's not worth the effort for me to try to understand scumbags like that. I just hope some people see these kinds of conversations and think about the artist before acting like a scumbag and publishing/using their work without permission, even if just to avoid you getting your project shut down because you're a selfish, entitled twat. That's all that matters.

I'm not on your side either. I legitimately believe there was a lack of thought, not a presence of scumminess that led to the situation. I was just letting legend know that he's an idiot for pretending sunshine and rainbows when even the creator himself came in and blatantly states that he was using images against the artist's permission, while Legend is acting all "Nooo.. it was just... ya know... he's the victim for having to delete something that he was doing, even though the images themselves weren't actually lost."


So now, can we return to either the topic at hand or my other question in terms of what is in this game? I feel like a large plus to a game is letting people know what's in it, and I'm only getting little bits of secondhand information here at a time.

Such love words...And I only have two things to say :

1) If people want to know how the whole conversation went, they're old enough to check on Hongfire.

2) Can you stop being the most hypocrite guy on the earth constantly saying you're protecting Butakoma's work when all I see in your post history are posts in game given freely on this site when they're sold on dlsite or dmm ? (Oh yeah, that's theft too...)

Ok, if some modds could moderate this guy...I don't feel like getting insulted forever.

ToxicShock -> What do you mean by what is in the game ? If you're asking in type of content, the game mainly contains images that come from a lot of Butakoma's set. However 6 scenes are exclusive to the game and were drawn by him.

If you're asking in terms of "genre", then there's a lot of thing : Bestiality, Shota, Loli, Watersports, Nipple Fuck, Filth, Incest, Chidlbirth (nothing really new if you're into Butakoma's artworks).

If you're asking in terms of gameplay, then it's pretty much the visual novel kind with a little bit of item searching and puzzle solving. There's also a card game (the classic one you find in all RMVX game, made by tomoaky). But there are absolutely nothing related to an RPG (no fights, no equipments, no experience).

If you were asking a different thing, then please developp what you're looking for cause I don't see what else could I say to describe the game.

Ebelaar -> Well I really don't see what's the problem...It doesn't come from Mediafire since I can see people managed to download it. I'll upload it on another file hoster.

Any of that information being up front is really for the best. People with blogs keep pictures up of what's going on, games on dlsite have preview pics that involve both the game and the h. All of these things usually feature the kind of H that will be in the game, as well as the tags they keep on the side. It's just that, going straight from the blog to the game seems to be a crapshoot for everyone.

I'll never put screenshots in my blog cause I don't want it to be shut down due to it's content...However, I can make some for this forum. I'll upload some tomorrow.

And for those interested, I finished uploading the game on Mega if you have trouble with Mediafire.

Toxic, please. Why troll? Half of this thread is just 3 people and the dev defending or trolling. Can we get back to the game?

Btw, So far, the only problems I can see with the game is that if you go back to the house before you feed the homeless girl, but come back with food before you end the day, the girl will still be there, but the hobos will act like she left. Also grammar, but you knew that.

Anyone have the password, or more hints about the password for the first camera in the dungeon when you use the second girl? It has me stumped.

You should read the thread on hongfire..i(mysticaxeman on hongfire) made an entire puzzle walkthrough on page 45 of the thread.. anyway the password for the first camera is dog (god reversed..) and the Second is Truth

First off, I don't think you know what the meaning of the word troll is. I'd stop using it if I were you.

Secondly, that could be why I moved on and offered constructive insight. I didn't flame and I've been asking for information on the game and the author since. In case you haven't read it.

ToxicShock -> For the blog it's a preventive way to not get it deleted due to it's content. Though I could put screenshots of the game that are non sexual, I don't think that's what people are waiting the most. And yes, it's mainly due to the content. If it was just consensual sex between two adults, it wouldn't bother me to upload some screenshots...

ookay.. i was overexcited with thoughts that this is another Vitamin Quest lookalike (i didnt read the game's description at that time so i missed it) with 6 exclusive scenes.. well it turns out i've seen plenty of other butakoma arts which i purchased from dlsite long ago (along with vitamin quest at that time).

so imma drop the game and if someone has complete save please reply~

ok, so i loaded this game, up, and it froze on the opening thing.

took me about a minute to remember that this was the one the the annoying code, well, whatever, i'l just go into the readme and find the code... not used to playing a game that has a readable readme, most of the jap games are full of random runes (not even japanese)

oh look, its not here, maybe its in the OTHER text file?

scene list, changelog.

no code.

probably missing something obvious, but wat do?

So that means that your blog CAN have adult material on it then? I know some things don't allow users to post things like that, but if that's the case, then it's only a matter of legality of the state, not the web
