Unfortunately, looks like the rescripted version of the game has some bugs. I did a lot of rewriting that I think really enhances things, but the new scripts made the game a little unstable. While I work on that, I'm completing version 0.7.0 in completely stable mode, without any of the enhancements.

I think Sierra means that this demo will just be a very small part of the game with the changed dialogue so we can get a taste of it earlier than its release.

I mean, April 11 isn't that far away.

You're correct, actually. The next main update will be the game as usual, the first update in April will be a short demo to give a taste of the new version.

Is this the child in the slums and are you playing version 0.6.0? In that version I changed him so he'd constantly keep moving, so I hope you haven't really discovered a new level of this bug. Though I suppose I should thank you if you did - email me your save if you can't get out and I'll fix it for you.

I was pretty sure no one would notice that bug so it wouldn't be fixed. Thanks for making this awesome game!

So first of all, thank you for creating this. It's been a refreshing change to actually feel invested in the characters and plot.

This might be really obvious, but as a completionist, it's driving me nuts. I have completed every quest in Stineford except the Church quest. What am I missing? I remember talking to the nun at the church and I've pretty much talked to everyone in town, but don't remember seeing anything to progress that quest line.

Hmm for the church quest go to the slums. There is a house with slave traders that you have to kill.

Leave the one one who asks you alive, you need him to open a door with a treasure inside.

I was actually wondering if you'd allow us to defeat the last boss of the castle (can't remember her name) with that new ability but alas

What would actually happen if you could defeat her? Would the game just break or would it continue on the same path?

I know it's impossible but there are methods which I'd rather not use.

BTW grats on getting through the last milestone on Patreon.

Thanks! I'm kind of blown away by the support I've gotten - I'll try to keep improving the game and be worthy of the trust people are putting in me.

As for your questions:

I actually considered entirely changing the battle, but realized that would be a lot of work and the joke had already gone on long enough.

If you do defeat her by cheating, the game proceeds as if nothing happened. I considered messing with game editors, but I figured if people want to play that way, that's fine.

The more important news is that version 0.7.0 is done and released on Patreon! Going to dive straight into 0.8.0 (when you play this one you'll know why), but keep me posted about any bugs or problems.
