Re: Rumia (cross_grave)

Rumia swore loudly as she felt the jackals rip her clothes up completely. Damn it, now she had to redo them from scratch! Those beasts wouldn't let her even stand up as they ate her outfit. She tried to lash out at the nearest one with her knife, but the blow went wide. Undeterred, she launched a Forked Bolt, reasoning that magic would accomplish what a blade couldn't, but she failed to aim it properly and scored only a partial hit. This was incredibly humiliating - had she grown to depend on Lassic's power so much that she was utterly helpless without it? No, this would not do. She'd have to learn how to fight on her own, without a crutch. Maybe she could persuade the spirit later to act more like a teacher than a power source.

First, however, she had to break out and defeat the jackals somehow all on her own. They were not making it easy for Rumia, as she had trouble fending off even one of them. However, as she was focused on the first beast, shouting threats, the second one seized the occasion. With suprising speed, the lackal got on top of her head and rammed it's dick into her open mouth, quickly starting to fuck her throat. The girl gagged and sputtered, trying to get the beast off of her using any means necessary, be they physical or magic. It was bad enough she was humiliated, beaten up and her clothes turned to an all you can eat buffet. She was not in a hurry to be reduced to a jackal's mate.

Re: Rumia (cross_grave)

Rumia was starting to doubt herself, was it Lassic that was causing her to become so powerful? She did not really have much to say for the time being as her mouth was a little occupied at the moment. Rumia however would try to sieze this opportunity to get herself out from underneath the Jackals before both of them started to procreate with her.

Rolls:
Rumia Knife: 8 - 7 Jackal 3 - Hit
Rumia Attack: 8 - 8 Jackal 3 - Hit

Jackal 2: 6 -7 Rumia - Miss
Jackal 3: 7 - 6 Rumia - Hit

Rumia would have a much easier time of finding her target with the knife this time. Though if she wasnt careful she might end up stabbing herself by accident. The Jackal did not seem to be deterred enough to release itself, though the point blank gut shot of flame it took made it jump a ways backward.

The other Jackal was unable to line itself up on Rumia as she started to crawl away. Though this Jackal was seemingly enough of a distraction to stop the newly damaged Jackal from charging back in and almost trampling Rumia back to the ground.

Still on the ground, Rumia was unable to get herself back standing upright. At least she was able to improve her position as she could now see the pair of remaining jackals start to circle around her from opposite directions. The last attack seemed to make Rumia lose her ability to regain her footing. Much more of this and she would be likely unable to get up at all for a while.

Status:

Re: Rumia (cross_grave)

Jabbing the jackal on top of her and blasting it with flame shortly afterwards, Rumia was able to free herself. Spitting to get rid of the taste of canine cock out of her mouth, she was bowled over by the other jackal, knocking her to the ground and winding her rather badly. She was having a hard time gathering the energy to stand up and the beasts were still there. Weakened, but so was she. The girl had no choice but to keep lobbing fireballs, hoping that she'd manage to last long enough to make the jackals flee like the first one. Though with how weak she was now, they might not be so fearful anymore.

(Attack Jackal 2 until it either flees or dies.)

Re: Rumia (cross_grave)

Rumia would start to get herself upright just to get knocked down again. These Jackals were seemingly resilient in their attack. Though at some point Rumia was hoping they would flee similarly to the first of the trio that initially attacked her.

Rolls:
Rumia Attack: 9 - 8 Jackal 2 - Hit

Jackal 2: Attempting to Flee
Jackal 3: 8 - 3 Rumia Critical

Rumia picked her target and let fly. The jackal after bowling her over from a prone position was now not so interested in continuing the fight. Simply looking to turn tail and run off with a piece of the leather Rumia previously wore. Sensing that this fight might just almost be won, Rumia would again start to stand up to give chase.

The remaining Jackal however circled around Rumia and employed the same cheap attack tactics that its compatriot previously used. Simply railroading Rumia as she started to get up. Completely unable to avoid the attack, Rumia was left sprawled face down with the Jackal already lined up to insert itself inside of her. Rumia would start to lift herself up and that was exactly what the Jackal needed for an opening. Ramming its member home, and on top of that mounting itself ontop of Rumia's back.

Rumia was starting to see the mountain around her start to spin. She was conscious but there were some complications now as the battle had started to simply wear on her. Her mind starting to drift off into forgetting about winning and just letting the Jackal have its way with her for a while.

Rumia could still reach her knife, though being face down in the ground was probably not the best place to be for trying to hit something humping you from behind. If she were to attack, she would be firing blind.

Re: Rumia (cross_grave)

Watching her fireball impact the jackal and send him running, Rumia began to feel better about herself. Rolling onto her front and pushing up, she tried to stand, hoping to keep up her momentum and tip the scales in her favor. Unfortunately, at that moment the remaining jackal slammed into her back, sending her sprawling. The girl cursed, feeling her head swim from the blow. She couldn't take much more, she had to get rid of that beast quickly and get back to camp to get some rest.

Trying to rise up, she failed to notice that the jackal was still on top of her. Raising her hips, she merely provided it with an opening to ram it's dick into her pussy and start raping her. Rumia felt her legs grow weak from the shock, her strenght starting to fade. She couldn't reliably attack the animal while it was behind her like this, she had to push him off first, then finish the fight. As long as she managed to get even one good hit in, she could still get it to flee.

Re: Rumia (cross_grave)

Rumia would find herself almost right back where she started with a Jackal having its way with her. Now a little the worse for wear, Rumia simply wanted this skirmish to be over with. Though not exactly content to allow a Jackal to violate her. Having scared off 2 of the three Jackals, Rumia now just needed to get herself free enough to scare off the final Jackal.

Rolls:
Rumia Escape: 6(-1) - 6 Fail
Jackal Sex: 5 - 6(-1) Fail
Rumia Escape: 7(-1) - 5 Success
Rumia Knife: 10(-1) 0 5 Critical

Jackal: Flee

Rumia would almost get herself free it felt like, though the Jackal would press back down upon her in time to keep going. Though this unsettled the position enough that the Jackal could not properly hump Rumia any longer. One more good buck and she was free.

Turning herself over she slashed out with her knife and cut the Jackal just underneath the neck. Were it a little higher it would have been almost certainly immediately fatal for the Jackal. Rumia was still simply trying to get her wits about her as the Jackal made haste to get away. Were she a little more level headed, Rumia would have been able to finish the thing off. Instead opting to allow these creatures to escape so that she may very well be able to retreat as well.

Having little else but balls of yarn and patchwork pieces of leather around her, Rumia would need to figure out just what was next on the menu for her. Resting where she currently was could be problematic due to who knows what being able to find her first before she could properly recover.

Re: Rumia (cross_grave)

Struggling to get the damn beast out and off of her, Rumia managed to somehow push the jackal away and turn over. Lashing out angrily with her knife, she managed to score a hit that was apparently enough to send the beast packing. With the battle settled in what was technically her favor, she took a moment to rest before taking stock. She was beat up, exhausted, her clothes were in tatters and completely torn to pieces. Also, she was outside the settlement and thus likely to attract unwanted attention.

Slowly gathering herself and rising to her feet as much as she could, the mage gave the pieces of clothing a quick glance. The yarn was a lost cause, most likely, but perhaps she'd manage to salvage a piece of leather or two. She'd take only what she could find and grab immediately, though. Rather than wait here, she intended to drag herself to the orc village and rest there, then work on a new set of clothing. She was probably done exploring in this direction for the time being.

Re: Rumia (cross_grave)

Rumia would take a few moments while still on the ground to confirm that the small pack of Jackals had in fact fled the area. After a minute or so, Rumia would get back up on her feet and grab what she could of her former clothing. Content to simply wander back toward the orc settlement, Rumia would get herself back to a sleeping area that was vacant with little issue. Having decided this was enough for one day, Rumia would simply sleep through the night.

As Rumia would awaken, a few of the bedrolls in the area were taken by orcs at this point. It was light out, so it would seem this was the dawn of a new day. The orcs having gone to sleep later into the night were not awake yet. Rumia would do her best to go about heading into the crafting areas again. Hopefully this time she could make something that would last longer than a few hours at most.

Rumia would find herself in the crafting area with the tools available to craft another set of clothing. With the loom and leather available, it would be fairly hard to mess it up, but then again the durability would be a known issue already.

Re: Rumia (cross_grave)

Exhausted and done with exploring for today, Rumia headed straight to sleep. By the time she woke up, it was dawn again. Realizing that a new day came, the girl decided to head out and start working on the unfinished issues. Walking around the few still sleeping orcs, she headed to the crafting area to work on recreating her clothing. While it got torn to pieces, the truth was that it wasn't any less durable than held old outfit. She just had shitty luck last day. Rather than change anything drastically, she opted to repair, or rather remake her shirt and pants combo from yesterday the way it was. Maybe she'd look into getting some armor later.

Once she was dressed again, the girl would grab some quick breakfast to have some energy for the day before heading to the forge. She managed to get a kiln set up the day before, now it was time to check up on it and put it to use. She needed a number of things to make, mostly better mining tools and maybe smithing tools as well. There were still those veins of iron and chrome to dig out. She'd also look into obtaining a quantity of carbon in some way, as it was an important ingredient in steel along with iron. Once that got out of the way and supply was established, she could engage in more personal projects.

Re: Rumia (cross_grave)

Something would go wrong.. very wrong. When Rumia entered the forge, the EGG machine simply stopped working.

Critical Error detected - Emergency Shutdown Protocol Initiated

Error detected in line 8423, invalid integer

v.Fucks Given = 0

Error. Does not have fucks to give.

Can not resolve line 8856

v.Fucks = [v.Difficulty / v.Fucks Given]

With this, Rumia was forcefully removed from the simulation. An error in the software was found, and within seconds Rizzo would be on the scene to greet Rumia as she started to awaken from her time in the EGG Chamber.

"I came here as soon as we were aware of the error miss Rumia. Please give us some time to isolate the erroneous code. We can have you back inside the chamber once the error has been corrected.

With this Rizzo would offer a cup of coffee to Rumia.

Re: Rumia (cross_grave)

Rumia jerked awake as the error message flared in front of her. It was unsettling, and she spent a few seconds trying to regain her bearings and remember where she was. Still, Rizzo was already on the scene and helping her, much to her relief. Accepting the cup of coffee and slowly sipping it's contents, the girl waited for the game to be fixed. Well, it was beta after all, bugs were going to happen. She still managed to have a decent run before encountering one. She briefly wondered what she'd get to see next, once the simulation was restarted.

Re: Rumia (cross_grave)

A few minutes would pass, as Rizzo made sure that the error did not actually affect Rumia in any manner either physically or mentally. Soon enough a vibration would be heard coming from Rizzo's pocket.

"I see they have isolated the problem."

Rizzo would sort of make an awkward motion almost as if he were bracing for some backlash for what he was about to say.

"The game you were in was unfortunately unrecoverable, the error could not be isolated without completely terminating the session...

However we have another module we would like for you to try. Based more around survival it will add things that were not present in the previous game and we would like to ask if you are willing to test this module out.

However I must warn you, this module is untested and I will likely get yelled at for even suggesting it. Though I can argue that everything is being tested and this will need to be tested eventually as well. This is the least I can do for you to make up for the failure of our machinery."

With this Rumia would learn her previous session had encountered an error. If she wished, there was another programmed module for her that would be immediately loaded were she to accept the offer to continue.

Re: Rumia (cross_grave)

Rumia sighed at the news. Of course the game was lost, she should have seen this coming. Still, as long as the error was fixed, she didn't mind restarting. The talk of a new, untested module made her curious, though. It sounded a little... Dangerous. From what she was told, it seemed that she'd have much less resources to work with, which meant higher difficulty. Still, in the end this was just a game, right? There was nothing to worry about. Probably. "Yeah, I don't mind. Truth be told, I'm interested to see what this module is about."

Re: Rumia (cross_grave)

"Yes miss Rumia, this is meant to be a more difficult module. There will not be a setting screen as we had those files saved outside of the module unless you would like to make changes we will simply import the settings from the previous module over to this one.

I would not want to rush you, you are here of your own free will. When you feel you are ready just say the word and I will start the module for you. If you have anything you feel that you need to do, now would be the time."

With this Rizzo would want to make sure Rumia was not having any side effects. Standard procedure for those finishing their time within the EGG. An exit interview as it were. However this one was certainly unique as no one had ever gone right back into the machine without first resting or simply taking a few days to square away matters that may have needed to be handled.

If Rumia wanted to change anything in her settings, she would need to inform Rizzo now. Otherwise there seemed to be a default set of parameters along with the newly prepared module. Once she felt she was ready it was only a matter of climbing back into the pod and situating herself for a new game to commence.

Re: Rumia (cross_grave)

Rumia nodded at the explanation Rizzo gave her. "I'll make a few small adjustments to the list, if you don't mind." She declared, intending to change the settings just a little bit. Once she was done with the check-ups and back in the pod, she waited for the new game to begin so she could modify the parameter input and start exploring the new module.

Weapon of choice: Magic
Element of choice: Fire (I was born, BORN to spec fire!)
Humans: N (Boring.)
Male/Female: Y-5 (Duh.)
Female/Female: Y-2 (... Not my thing, but might as well.)
Pregnancy/egg laying/seed implantation: Y-5 (Why the Hell not.)
Birthing: Y-5 (Would be weird not to.)
Non Consent Sex: Y-5 (Kinda the point of this exercise.)
BDSM: Y-5 (Might be fun.)
Slavery: Y-4 (Oughta shake things up.)
Monsters (Tentacles & Slimes & Likewise): Y-5 (Gonna be funny if nothing else.)
Mythical like beings (Angels, Succubi, and other stuff I can think of like this etc...): Y-4 (Might be cool.)
cybernetic enemies (Robotic tentacles, androids, and other ones of the like): N (And this might be hilarious.)
Anthros (Catgirls, Wolfgirls, Bunnygirls, Cowgirls, etc...): Y-3 (... Why not.)
Fey beings (Nymphs, Elves, etc...): Y-4 (Should be kinky.)
Body modification (You can gain tentacles among other things during the game): Y-3 (Only a little bit.)
Corruption (Your character can become corrupted, which can lead to some serious side effects in game, though what those are won't be known until they happen): Y-5 (Sure, why not.)
Roughness: (How gentle are the monsters when you lose?): Rough

Extras:
Mind control, drugs: Y-4
Parasites: Y-3
Vore: Y-3

Re: Rumia (cross_grave)

"Well, miss Rumia, thank you for your understanding. I hope this module is more to your liking."

With Rizzo leaving the room, Rumia would step back into the EGG machine. At least this time she would almost know what to expect with how the machine would function. Predictably a screen would show up within a few seconds of getting situated allowing Rumia to change a few settings.

As Rumia would finish her settings, an alarm would go off.

"Launch sequence initiated, prepare for departure."

A machine based voice would mechanically blurt out. Within seconds a bright flash would show in front of Rumia causing her to blink her eyes. Of course this would again signal the beginning of the simulation and the pod itself felt like it were being launched from a tube of some kind. A door opened in front of her about 100 yards away.

The pod would launch itself out of the tube and land rather violently. The whole exchange likely meant to disorient Rumia somewhat. As the pod were to come to a stop, the door would automatically pop itself clean off of the pod. Rumia was in a jungle now. A voice could be heard that was coming from the pod.

"Welcome contestant. Behind your seat you will find 2 things that will aid you. A bracelet that will allow you to communicate with control being the most important, also it functions as a tracking device. Just signal with the bracelet when you have had enough and we will extract you.

You will also be provided with enough food rations to last three days. After that you are on your own. Finally, you are not alone here. Your objective is to survive long enough to outlast the other competitors. There will be monsters and traps along with the other competitors attempting to break you enough that you willing choose to give up. If we feel that you have lost your mind enough that you can no longer intelligently act, we will rescue you and consider you to have forfeit the game.

Killing a contestant is strictly forbidden. All monsters are non lethal as well, though you may freely kill them as you so desire. The monsters are disposable, contestants are not.

Good Luck."

A rather long speech. As Rumia would look around, the area around her at least for now was safe enough. The foliage was dense enough to make movement easy enough to not be spotted, though that was likely where traps were placed as well. This was not going to be an easy time, and Rumia would have a chance to look herself and her surroundings over before proceeding. As far as Rumia currently could see, she was able to move in any direction.

Re: Rumia (cross_grave)

Finishing the input, Rumia settled down in her pod as the simulation started. The alarm suprised her, along with the whole launch sequence - she had a hard time convincing herself she wasn't being fired outside of the building in real life. As she slowly came to after the landing, peering cautiously out of the open pod door, the girl took stock of her surroundings. A jungle of some sort, an ideal place for monsters and traps. Excellent. She didn't set out immediately, though, pausing to listen to the message left for her. A survival contest against others? Interesting. Though if the winning condition was outlasting others, she'd have to consider taking steps towards breaking them at some point. Hm. For now, however, she'd have to prepare herself and avoid being made into a mindless fucktoy.

Reaching behind her seat to pull out the bracelet and the ration bag, Rumia took stock of herself as well. Her outfit wasn't the most optimal for this sort of outing, to be honest. Black lacy underwear, black pantyhose, simple boots, a long white skirt with a ring of red lace sticking out at the bottom. A long-sleeved, black shirt with a collar, buttoned up and complemented by a white sleeveless vest and a black ascot with red trim on both ends. Fancy and really good looking, she loved it. She was also quite sure it wouldn't fit the jungle at all. Sighing as she put on the communications bracelet, the girl slung the ration pack over her shoulder and set off, marching deeper into the jungle. With no direction looking special, going forward from the door of her pod was good enough.

Re: Rumia (cross_grave)

Rumia would see that she was in a jungle. A game was afoot, and Rumia was a contestant in it. Her objective was to simply outlast the competition. As she examined the area around her, she would notice that there was a trap door nearby, likely where the pod had launched from. This could be used as a point of reference going forward if nothing else.

After listening to the recording, Rumia would put on the bracelet and take the ration pack and put it around her shoulder. Without knowing what direction she was actually heading, she would simply move in the direction that the pod was facing. Surely they would not leave Rumia in imminent danger right after the launch of her pod?

As Rumia would step forward, she did not notice a wire on the ground. She however heard a sound as the tripwire were triggered and a dart was fired. Luckily for her she was able to duck under the dart as it was aimed much more for people who were taller than she was to say the least. The dart may be something that she would recover, as whatever was in it or on it did not transfer onto her upon contact.

As she moved onward the trees would open up enough that she could see the sun. With the positioning of the sun to her right and a little behind her, if this were the morning she would know she was going north and were the sun to set shortly, she could derive that she was heading south.

Rumia encountered her first trap and was successful in evading it. She was even possibly left with a weapon that she could use outside of her magic if it came down to it were she to attempt a recovery of the dart.

Re: Rumia (cross_grave)

Rumia's heart skipped a beat as she heard the tell-tale sound of a trap being triggered. Thankfully, ducking immediately allowed her to avoid the projectile flung in her general direction. A poisoned dart from the looks of it. Most likely some kind of aphrodisiac or non-lethal, debilitating poison from what she could guess. Thankfully, whoever set the trap up was an amateur, counting on his target being big and standing upright. Still, she'd have to be very careful in the future. If she was facing traps right out of the gate, then this contest was not something she could fuck around with. If the girl didn't take this seriously, she'd just end up as a cumdump.

Looking around, Rumia attempted to locate and recover the dart. If she got lucky, she could gain a potential weapon she could throw at someone, or maybe even stab someone in melee. One way or another, she was going to pocket that thing for later. Once that situation was resolved, she'd note the position of the sun. The mage assumed that, since it was the beginning of a contest, it was probably morning and thus she was heading to the north. Time would tell if she was right, but for the time being she was going to keep on moving in that direction after succeeding or failing in recovering the dart.

Re: Rumia (cross_grave)

Rumia was intent on recovering the dart, and as she ducked she could see where the dart was fired into the brush. Recovery was easy enough as the dart itself was attached to a tree now. A quick tug and the dart was her's. Her previous assumption of the dart being poisoned in some way was quite correct.

A green fluid was inside of a small container inside the dart. From the looks of it, the dart would impact its target and then the container would break and the fluid would go through the needle and into the target. It was a small wonder how the container did not break. Also Rumia might be able to take apart the dart to remove the unidentified toxin if she so desired, though she would need to be delicate to not either destroy the dart or break the container.

Rumia would continue in the direction she believed to be north after recovering the dart. Whatever she decided to do with the dart would not change how uneventful the next hour or so ended up being. The most eventful thing that happened was that Rumia found the boundary of the game field. This wall looked artificial, and tossing something against it would reveal a very important detail. The wall was electrically charged. A spark was let out as the small stone impacted the wall. Climbing out was clearly not viable.

Walking around the wall to see if she could find something useful, Rumia would spot a placard that had 'A-2' on it. Grid coordinates possibly?
