The defense and charm attributes are bugged if you equip the best items? Defense resets to 13 when I equip the +100 def item. Charm gets locked on 100 while it's way more than 100 with the bad items.
... This is the last time I'll say this because it obviously doesn't matter how many times you say it.
Most of the things in this game you guys are reporting as bugs aren't bugs per se. They aren't bugs because they were made to work as they are working. As to the reason why the author of the game made it that way I have no clue.
The particular thing you're talking about is a shop vendor in the Roman Lake area who sells fake items. Whatever you buy from him turns to fake item after you close the shop window. He switches the item you bought with a fake one that looks the same but doesn't give any stats or gives shitty one.
I don't know if this works for all items(too lazy to go inside the game editor to check it) but going on by memory this is how it works. It was all explained in some post like 7-8 pages ago.
1. When you open shop window you can either buy or sell items.
2. You need to buy first fake item and exit the shop. I think the first is demon bracelet or something like that.
3. After you got the fake item, open the shop again and first sell items that are worth the same or more money then the item you're buying. You need to do this to prevent the vendor from switching the real item with fake one. When you open the shop window, game records the amount of money you currently have(a1) and when you close the shop window the game check if remaining amount of money(a2) is less then the money you had on your when you talked to the vendor. In case you bought the item and a2 < a1 then the vendor swaps the items. If you sell items that are worth more or same as the item you bought before you close the shop window then a2 < a1 won't be true and vendor won't swap items(you will get the real item).
4. After buying a fake and real item, you unlock the 2nd item in a preset order. Every time before you can get a real item, you need to buy next fake item. The last item you can obtain if you go all the way is the sword that gives ATK +999 and it costs about 1 million. If you don't cheat with money, you would need to repeat the prostitution event like 90 times to obtain enough money to get to the sword.
TIP: I myself bought the 50k items from the same vendor to sell so I could get the real bracelet. So to get the first real item, you need to buy 4 of the 50k items he's selling and then exit the shop window. Talk to him again and sell those 4 items you bought. After that go and buy Demon King Bracelet. That way you will get the real item that gives stats. Remember to get the next item in line to show in shop you also need to own the same fake item.
You will get a full demon king set and full holy angel set from this vendor if you buy all items. I don't think this works on any other non-consumable item he sells. Some of the other items are real or fake. Most of the expensive ones are all fakes so you would be wasting your money.
