Re: Legend of Queen Opala: Origin

seems from what I read on the blog it that the first Episode will come out soon so we can see for ourselves and that Sparrow will be the main artist for the western scenes, don't know the name of the eastern.

Re: Legend of Queen Opala: Origin

i'm actually trying out the demo, and i have to say it's quite..long, for a demo o_O
for what i've seen, there are a little more h-scene than the previous episodes, wich is a good thing indeed
what i don't really like is the draw style for the western edition.....those gigantic breast are a bif turn down for me...i think the eastern edition is better on that sense...

Re: Legend of Queen Opala: Origin

I played the patreon beta's and i love it. I don't really have a problem with the long grind low h-scene content.

To me loqo1 and 2 were good too (2 being the better one imo).

I'm just really glad there's a long grindy western made h-game being made since like someone else said there's so few.

(The beta's i played were up until like 4 months ago i think)

Yeah, I didn't really like Sparrow doing the art for western, he does ALOT of inflation for my taste. I prefer a more realistic look, which is why I like Studio-Pirate's version alot, It's how I see the characters now!

Re: Legend of Queen Opala: Origin

From what I've played of every version of the beta, the combat hasn't changed at all. Trading cards can now be won in a version of liar's dice like from red dead redemption as well as be found around the world. One of the difference's this time around is you'll be able to romance any of the female party members. Aside from that, there are golden scarab enemies now that can be encountered in each area and once you beat them you get a token which can be used to unlock items such as the art razor, you can't take paintings without that. Ruby coins are what replaced the golden old coins this time around and to get artwork you still have to find them. Farah Opala and Osira will also be playable this time around.

Well beastman mode will have Studio-Pirate doing the art so there you have it.

I dunno, but the fact that the creator Gabe, who is a (self-proclaimed) woman, have a fetish for beastman (and beasts by extension) is a pretty arousing thought.

Gabe is a dude by the way. If you go back like 10-15 years and look up profile names for swegabe/gabe etc. which use the mail [email protected] you can see he is named David. I think he started telling people he was female in order to differentiate himself from all the other male artist/game creators.

LOQO was probably the first h-rpg I tried so it sort of grew on me. I actually liked this one, although yeah, sometimes some of the women look really inflated so to speak.

Yeah, I also saw that Gabe in early years was going by the name of David ... . Even now one can find evidence on certain webpage. But i dont see much harm coming from him using something like pornstar alias. He protects his private life this way, I guess.

Art razor is bought with golden beetle tokens or whatever they are called, the thing dropping from special monster packs which include golden beetle. Once you have tokens you can spend them through item "achievements".

Any idea where I can get the lockpick?
you have to go at the park in Colussia ( east side of the town) , there is a guy sitting on a bench on the outside of it, he'll give you information about a thief, spotted around the bar...got to the bar, get down the basements, talk to the thief and you'll get the lockpick

The screwed up part is that he lists himself as unemployed even back then.

Episode 1 of this game was supposed to be released in February, but it was delayed by about 6 months now because of "drillings" in her apartment complex. I've been wondering if the employment situation is still the same (she got in trouble with the benefits office over Offbeatr income), because her Patreon has been over $4,000/month for most of that time, and her excuse is that she sleeps during the day and couldn't get enough rest while the repairs were ongoing. If she's still on the damn dole, how could she not figure out a way to rearrange her schedule in six months?

I don't think Gabe really lives off the patreon. Most of guys on patreon do but they are artists. You must remember that Gabe comissions 3 artists for each scene (with skintone variations) in the storyline and sparrow - who I believe is the most expensive of all - also draws optional non-canon scenes. That alone eats up lot of the offbeatr/patreon money, not to mention photo sessions with models.

What I say is, I have no idea whether Gabe lives off patreon but if he/she does, I think it's allrigth.

And I believe the drilling or whatever the problem was, was real, cause new beta hardly added any actual content - which is really "unlike Gabe" - apart from beastman variations of storyline, which is tremendous amount of copy-pasteing. Speaking of which, maybe Gabe bit more than he/she could chew with this branching, imo.

As far as I know, there are no scenes with Beatrix and Mhu'Tiki.
