Well gameplay doesn't exist there except from some minigames which is a shame. Else the animations are in my opinion not bad like some people called it here. For the details it's actually pretty good.

I'm not really sure how to go about unlocking everything in the Extra section. I know that you get one for winning, one for losing, and one for doing the slight variation of the character, but I'm not sure how to get the others.

I can't figure out how to get level 2 and 3 of the minigames either.
I thought maybe just beating them once would do it, then I thought doing it as fast as I can or getting as many slaps as I could would do it.

You get the minigames by playing them over and over and are you sure you get one for losing? I think it's just by fighting in the area where those monsters are since I noticed there's 3 versions of each monster.

Maybe.

I just noticed cause I had one blue slime locked, so I went and lost to one and then it was unlocked. It could have just been that one different variation of the slime though and I didn't notice.

You can make it shorter by buying instant battle or.........
Go to option and give yourself infinite hit + exp up

No, it's unlock because you fight another version of slime girl. Each girl has 3 version
1.Normal
2.Smaller Boobs (maybe you not noticed this one :p)
3.Recolor

I think it's better for the dev to make 3 varieties color instead of a bit smaller boobs that sometimes not noticed.

So no one knows how the actual game play works? I understand the mini games which I fund extremely fun especially the one where you're chasing girls that one is freaking hilarious.
But what of the main battles is there any rhyme or reason to it or you just move the cursor mindlessly?

I don't understand it either :p

But if your lv high enough. You don't need to care about orb color because you still win even use Auto mode.

I have to say this game has great art and animation but not good for gameplay :(

(I like the last mini game too :D)

not always just because it's on the english dlsite means it's in english.

The game is partially in English, I don't see the point of an English version. I could get through it and I'm Japanese-retarded
