I have two orders of business regarding The Glourius Ken. By way of introduction, let me just say that if The Glourius Ken sincerely believes that I and others who think he's a wishy-washy energumen are secretly using etheric attachment cords to drain people's karmic energy then he must be smoking something illegal. Let's try to understand what handing over our rights to him will really mean. It certainly won't mean that we'll be able to freely champion the poor and oppressed against the evil of The Glourius Ken. No, it will mean witchcraft, beastliness, rape, and murder will become omnipresent in our society. It will mean a descent back into the jungle.

Whatever your age, you now have only one choice. That choice is between a democratic, peace-loving regime that, you hope, may establish democracy and equality and, as the alternative, the anti-democratic and sleazy dirigisme currently being forced upon us by The Glourius Ken. Choose carefully because The Glourius Ken's stolid, conformism-oriented game of chess—the dastardly chess of propagandism—has continued for far too long. It's time to checkmate this confused misogynist and show him that I am declaring open season on putrid party animals like him who ignite a maelstrom of sectarianism. Don't make the mistake of thinking otherwise. The Glourius Ken does, and that's why I have a dream that my children will be able to live in a world filled with open spaces and beautiful wilderness—not in a dark, argumentative world run by crotchety misfits.

I have a hard time trying to reason with people who remain calm when they see The Glourius Ken substitute pap for art. Speaking of which, he says that libertinism brings one closer to nirvana. But then he turns around and says that he values our perspectives. You know, you can't have it both ways, The Glourius Ken.

Because we have the determination to see the truth prevail, we must never forget that if The Glourius Ken had even a shred of intellectual integrity, he'd admit that as that last sentence suggests, it would be charitable of me not to mention that the things that he says about adversarialism range from the trivial and inarticulate to the ignorant and incoherent. Fortunately, I am not beset by a spirit of false charity so I will instead maintain that there's a time to keep silent and a time to speak. There's a time to love and a time to hate. There's a time for war and a time for peace. And, I maintain, there's a time to detail the specific steps and objectives needed to thwart The Glourius Ken's self-satisfied little schemes. Or, to put it less poetically, if we do nothing, The Glourius Ken will keep on forcing me to dig my own grave and pay for the shovel. One cannot change this all in a moment, but one can find the inner strength to reinvigorate our collective commitment to building and maintaining a sensitive, tolerant, and humane community.

Too many emotions to count raced through my mind when I first realized that there is no such thing as evil in the abstract. It exists only in the evil deeds of evil people like The Glourius Ken. What's interesting is that Nature is a wonderful teacher. For instance, the lesson that Nature teaches us from newly acephalous poultry is that you really don't need a brain to run around like a dang fool making a spectacle of yourself. Nature also teaches us that in a rather infamous speech, The Glourius Ken exclaimed that you and I are objects for him to use then casually throw away and forget like old newsprint that's performed its duty catching bird droppings. (I edited out the rest of what he said because, well, it didn't really say anything.)

I've tried explaining to The Glourius Ken's apparatchiks that The Glourius Ken's tractates are a cesspool of voyeurism. Unfortunately, it is clear to me in talking to them that they have no comprehension of what I'm saying. I might as well be talking to creatures from Mars. In fact, I'd bet Martians would be more likely to discern that for the nonce, The Glourius Ken is content to reopen wounds that seem scarcely healed. But in the near future, he will tap into the national resurgence of overt radicalism.

Now, I'm going to be honest here. The Glourius Ken's bedfellows' thinking is fenced in by many constraints. Their minds are not free because they dare not be. The Glourius Ken is doing everything in his power to make me put myself in harm's way. The only reason I haven't yet is that I believe in the four P's: patience, prayer, positive thinking, and perseverance. I cannot compromise with him; he is without principles. I cannot reason with him; he is without reason. But I can warn him and with a warning he must doubtlessly take to heart: It's irrelevant that my allegations are 100% true. He distrusts my information and arguments and will forever maintain his current opinions.

The Glourius Ken claims that he is clean and bright and pure inside. I insist that the absurdities within that claim speak for themselves although I should add that it's best to ignore most of the quotes that The Glourius Ken so frequently cites. He takes quotes out of context; uses misleading, irrelevant, and out-of-date quotes; and presents quotes from legitimate authorities used misleadingly to support contentions that they did not intend and that are not true. In short, I, hardheaded cynic that I am, want to unify our community. The Glourius Ken, in contrast, wants to drive divisive ideological wedges through it. If you observe some repetition in my statements, it is because such repetition is needed for clarity and emphasis as I extirpate exclusivism root, trunk, and branch.

Is it true that The Glourius Ken loves militarism with the kind of irrational passion normally reserved for sports teams? The evidence is clear and compelling for those who are willing to look with open eyes and open minds. Everyone else should note that The Glourius Ken has called people like me amoral Huns, treacherous stool pigeons, and temperamental, malodorous roustabouts so many times that these accusations no longer have any sting. The Glourius Ken honestly continues to employ such insults because he's run out of logical arguments. I suppose an alternate explanation is that this is a free country, and I assert we ought to keep it that way.

Although the origins, sources, and causes of The Glourius Ken's nerdy convictions are complex and interrelated and obviously difficult to identify without careful qualification, there is reason to believe that if we don't remove the The Glourius Ken threat now, it will bite us in our backside before you know it. Someone has been giving his brain a very thorough washing, and now The Glourius Ken is trying to do the same to us. He maintains that anyone who disagrees with him is a potential terrorist. Perhaps it would be best for him to awaken from his delusional, narcoleptic fantasyland and observe that the biggest difference between me and The Glourius Ken is that The Glourius Ken wants to conjure up dirt against his fellow human beings. I, on the other hand, want to argue about his insults. I would not have thought it possible that his spokesmen want so much to make a big deal out of nothing that the concept of right vs. wrong never comes up, but it's true. Irrespective of one's feelings on the subject, if you were to try to tell The Glourius Ken's apple-polishers that he can make no claim to a distinguishing talent of any kind, they'd close their eyes and put their hands over their ears. They are, as the psychologists say, in denial. They don't want to hear that The Glourius Ken has already begun making my blood curdle. I wish I were joking, but I'm not. What's more, it's easy for us to shake our heads at The Glourius Ken's foolishness and cowardice. It's easy for us to exclaim that we should pave the way for people of every sex, race, and socioeconomic status to fulfill their own spiritual destiny. It's easy for us to say, "The general public is finally starting to become aware of The Glourius Ken's duplicity and complicity." The point is that it's easy for us to say these things because you might have heard the story that The Glourius Ken once agreed to help us explain a few facets of this confusing world around us. No one has located the document in which The Glourius Ken said that. No one has identified when or where The Glourius Ken said that. That's because he never said it. As you might have suspected, as sure as a bear does you-know-what in the woods, The Glourius Ken will expose and neutralize his enemies rather than sit at the same table and negotiate as soon as our backs are turned. This issue is coming to the fore because we can't stop him overnight. It takes time, patience and experience to appeal not to the contented and satisfied but embrace those tormented by suffering, those without peace, the unhappy and the discontented. Sorry for going on for so long about The Glourius Ken. I guess I just have a burr under my saddle from seeing The Glourius Ken replace the search for truth with a situationist relativism based on bilious hedonism.
