or maybe stop making excuses for him when someone in /hgg/ has already released a partial translation within 24 hours of deciding to undertake the task. now all that's left to do is wait for someone to finish it.

It's been updated since; they now claim everything but H-scenes and postgame, whatever that means.

Regardless, I'm waiting for a complete and polished TL before I play.

Which completely baffles me, since I feel like there's not quite enough content to justify a 2000 yen price tag.

It's like a glimpse into some sort of deep, dark(?) yearning that the Japanese harbor within themselves. To own and care for an abused slave and pet her...(turning her into a sex-addict optional)

dekiru translations (google it; first result) has a partial patch out now. From their blog:

What this patch does not translate, because I’m lazy: The filler text in the shop, the H-scenes, the market/forest, and the drugging stuff. Most of that is because I’m lazy and the text is bland – the forest and market together are several hundreds lines of just “oh shit a bug”, it’s not bad stuff but it’s not something I want to translate. The drug stuff was just annoying to translate due to being deep in code.

They also go on to say they probably won't be pushing for a complete patch any time soon, due to a shortage of craps given.

Apologies all. Keeping my priorities straight and put translations on the back burner. Saying I'd get it done within the week was obviously a bit too ambitious of me.

As far as progress goes, I've finished non-H events excluding the shop and tea. Translating H-scenes are harder than I thought they'd be...

I've also been looking at the public documentation for TyranoScript to see if I can make any improvements/changes while I'm translating. ie. Currently the checks for the extra dialogue when you change your name seems to be case sensitive, so change it to be case insensitive and auto-capitalize input (brOTher -> Brother).

Regarding the name changes, I just made two copies, one literal and one romaji, since I couldn't decide.

I clicked the 4chan link and I noticed the translator translated her name as Sylvia, whereas I translated it as Silvia. Any preference as far as that goes?

Nah no need to apologize, the fact that anyone is translating this at all is a blessing in itself (since most games are never translated), so don't feel bad. Will be looking forward to a translated version, whenever you can upload it.

As far as name preference goes, my vote will be on Silvia, but if enough people want Sylvia I'm not going to complain.

To make it easier, you could just finish up the one on 4chan.

seems to be the most recent update and the only things that need to be finished seem to be H_wood.ks, Hx-text.ks, and H_sexless3.ks

Personally, I think Sylvie is a good standard. I think 'Sylvia' is a little to fancy considering the state she arrives in.

Don't worry about the dev time; we're just happy to hear you're still kicking.
